I’ve had Wendy in the group for a few years (as of June 2013), and she’s long been my brightest and most active muse. However, as of late I’ve been feeling a disconnect from her. Not really a loss of muse per se, but rather a loss with what to actually do with her. It’s been hard to figure out what to write and find interesting things that motivate me (since I’ve done so much over so long), and as opposed to clinging onto her despite my emotional attachment, I’ve decided to let her go for now.

A break might be all I need from her muse for it to come back, so in the meantime I’m going to play around with other muses in her place, and if I inevitably come back to her I will! I just wanted to thank everyone that’s interacted with her over the years and all that jazz.

As for Citta’s Fairy Tail blog, I will be moving it’s ownership over to my Erza blog! I’ve been having a much easier time writing her, and she’s actually been the Master in canon so it’s more fitting to host it there. Keep an eye out for an updated Fairy Tail job blog in the next few days!

“You know, considering all of the people that come here... It’s fortunate none of Fairy Tail’s enemies from Earthland show up.” It’d be a problem if Zeref or the Spriggan made an appearance.

It wasn’t unusual for beasts and monsters to end up terrorizing the city sectors on occasion. It was a big place after all, and those creepy crawlies that lived in the districts had a tendency to wander to the surface for food. It was unfortunate, but they were often poached in these cases. It was better to ‘coerce’ them into leaving.

...With violence. At least in cases like this one, where a group of giant apes had crawled up into Sector oo5 and had wounded some NPCs. As a member of Fairy Tail, she couldn’t really ignore it.

“SKY DRAGON’S ROAR!” Wind with the power of a tornado shot out from the girl’s mouth and into the vacated park. She’d had to lead them there first, since using her magic where it could harm innocents was out of the question. Ranged spells, at the very least, but it was better safe than sorry.

While the attack sent several of the beasts across the park, some had possessed the common sense to scatter, with one charging at a man with white hair. 

Wait, hadn’t she talked to him before...?

“’Daughter’?” Clearly, Wendy’s mind was still reeling regarding the fact that Nah could be this girl’s, who looked younger than Wendy herself, daughter. “Uh... Yeah! Sure! We can be friends! So does this mean that you’re a dragon too? My mother was a dragon!”

     A gasp, Nowi’s eyes widen with a grin.

     “That’s awesomesauce!”

     “Nah needs lots of friends, so please be good to her!” Jumping on the balls of her feet before an abrupt stop – she stares the girl in the eye. “And me too! Will you be my friend too?”

“Well... I’m kind of worried the barista would get mad at me if I said it wrong. You know? You read stories about those kinds of encounters on the internet. I wouldn’t be sure how to reply if that happened...”

“It’s…a large, yes.” Cue a momentary (very momentary) sputter of her tongue as Sakuya mentally double checks that she actually knows what she’s talking about.

“I’m fairly certain if you say the usual ‘medium’ or ‘small’, they’ll still know what you’re talking about…”

“That’s not what I mean...!” Natsu was undoubtedly stronger than her back in Earthland, but considering his lack of powers in Hive City... But it seemed like he was fired up now so he’d likely get made if she took it easy on him. Throwing hands to her sides, a magic circle appeared at her feet. “Ile Vernier! Ile Arms! Ile Armor!” The magic circle glowed for a moment, but faded once her enchantments were in place. “You can come at me, Natsu-san.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?!  Let’s go! I can take it!” -takes a fighting stance-

“Are you sure, Natsu-san? I know I couldn’t hold my own in a contest of purse strength without my magic, but I definitely have more of my magic back than you.” See: all of it.

“Wendy! Let’s see how much stronger you are!”

“Er... Height isn’t really a problem? But are you sure? Do you have a weapon or power of some sort? It wouldn’t be a good idea to go against me unarmed, I’m pretty sure, even sparring... Actually, maybe we could just work on physical attacks? I won’t use magic.”

          “If you don’t mind someone a little taller, I’ll keep up with you. I think there’s ample room to start around here, if it’s okay…?”
