Hi!! I'm here with a tucked-in picture of Saskia, as well as an update!! I adopted a new cat!! her name is Alfredo (I call her Alf) and here she is "tucked" under a cat bed (hiding from the scary new people). she's a very scared little girl, but I'm hoping I can slowly coax her out for real cuddles soon!
if anyone has potential silly nicknames for Alf, I'd love to hear them! we've been trying to come up with some good ones (like Alfredo -> Alf -> Elf -> Legolas), but we gotta have a range

Earlier today, I had a nap on the couch and awoke to Tiny Tim insistently headbutting my face until I snuggled with him. He curled up and napped on a cushion on my lap. Then Leon hopped up and sat beside Tim, and wrapped himself around my hand while I scritched his tummy.
Leon jumping onto my lap is already a rarity - he's not a lap cat, and he prefers Jon's company - but for him to jump up for snuggles when Tim is already sitting with me? For Tim to actually tolerate Leon's incursion and for them to both sit and snuggle with me for what must have been at least 10 minutes!?
Incredible. Record-breaking. Unheard of!!
Imagine my torment when my phone... was under the cushion the boys were snuggled up on. I couldn't get a pic. Devastating.
Oh? These pictures? Yeah. I had a turkey bite. Still apparently the only way I can reliably get Leon to come to me.

The cat tree is wearing out, and one of the top platforms broke and we had to remove it. So... Leon is making do
#icymi#need to research a good sturdy cat tree to invest in#clearly this cheap cardboard and plastic one is not gonna cut it#shame. it seemed like decent quality when i ordered it. it had good reviews#but it just can't stand up to our 3 cats rocketing around on it every day#cats#cat#leon the cat#leon oliver
