There was a big green house that stood abandoned in the middle of the woods. The locals knew better than to go near it. They whispered tales of strange occurrences, inexplicable sounds and a feeling of being watched that would haunt anyone who dared to venture too close.
As the leaves changed color and the wind grew colder, a group of curious teenagers decided to investigate the rumors for themselves. They journeyed deep into the woods and eventually came upon the looming structure. The house was enormous and seemed to stretch into the sky, its walls covered in ivy and its windows long shattered.
The group cautiously approached the house, the floorboards creaking beneath their feet as they crossed the threshold. Inside, they were greeted by darkness, the only source of light coming from the moon that shone through the broken windows. The air was musty and the smell of decay filled their noses. As they explored the house, they couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched.
Suddenly, they heard a noise from the floor above them. It was a faint shuffling, but it was enough to send shivers down their spines. They looked at each other, their faces pale with fear. They knew they should leave, but their curiosity got the better of them. They climbed the creaking stairs to the second floor.
As they walked down the hallway, they heard whispers coming from one of the rooms. The door was slightly ajar, and the group could see a faint light flickering inside. They pushed open the door and were met with a gruesome sight.
There, in the center of the room, was a ghostly figure. Its skin was pale and its eyes were black as coal. It beckoned to them, urging them to come closer. The teenagers were frozen with fear, unable to move as the figure approached them.
The ghostly figure whispered a warning to them, telling them to leave and never return. It was the spirit of a woman who had been murdered in the house many years ago. The teenagers fled from the room, down the stairs and out of the house as fast as they could, never looking back.
From that day on, the big green house in the middle of the woods remained abandoned, a place where no one dared to venture. The locals whispered stories about the ghostly figure and the cursed house, and the teenagers who had seen it never forgot the warning they had received. The big green house in the middle of the woods remained a place of fear and mystery, a place where the living dared not tread.
