Edelman, which calls itself the world’s largest public relations firm, has lost four executives and multiple accounts due to their stance or lack thereof on climate change and the company’s unwillingness to take a strong stand on the issue.
A coalition of more than 100 companies advocating bold action on climate change, terminated a contract with Edelman last fall after controversy arose over the firm’s work for fossil fuel industry clients, a spokesman for the coalition confirmed.
Nike declined to use Edelman on a climate-related project and Unilever, a major client, also has expressed concern to Edelman over the climate issue. 
Press and activist organizations have been calling out the morality, intention and values of Edelman.
Edelman has struggled for the last year to serve its fossil fuel industry clients, including Shell and Chevron, without putting off other clients or staffers who see climate change as a moral issue with clear rights and wrongs.
Shell, one of Edelman’s biggest clients to date is wrecking the climate. Shell is one of the biggest climate polluters in the world. This transnational company has known about the severity of climate change and the impacts of oil and gas drilling for decades but has not only misled the public on the issue, it continues drilling for fossil fuels. Confidential internal documents, and Shell’s own film Climate of Concern, reveal that Shell has been aware of the dangers of climate change for over 30 years.
Edelman cannot afford to lose either of the two sides, as this would be catastrophic on their revenues. 
Edelman has defended Shell time and time again. Now, with climate change activism on the forefront, all eyes look to Edelman to see if they are willing to cut ties with this giant in order to save their company from losing clients, top executives and possibly, their own public image.
 
Task at hand:
As the representatives of Edelman, you must clear the company’s image with regards to associating with problematic firms. Also develop strategies to lobby the affected parties. You have been tasked with announcing a definitive yet diplomatic stance of Edelman to the general public.
 
You are required to submit a PPT of not more than 5 slides with the following deliverables:

4. Creatives, if any.

Feng Shui, a Chinese geomancy claims to use energy forces to harmonize individuals with their surrounding environment. If everything’s in the correct place, the thinking goes you’ll enjoy good health and fortune.
Feng Shui in China suffered a greater censor because of the Chinese Cultural Revolution (1966-76), where it was considered one of the four olds: Old beliefs, customs, traditions and thoughts that had to be ditched to push development.
During the Chinese Cultural Revolution, 300 mainlanders crossed to Hong Kong every day to escape the communist rule. These individuals bought with them old beliefs and practices. As a result, Hong Kong ( a former European Colony) wedded to Chinese traditions than the motherland itself.
Some of the notable buildings in Hong Kong are designed according to the Feng Shui practices. These include Dragon entrance, Bronze Lions at HSBC building etc. Even the Disneyland in HongKong entrance gate was shifted to 12degrees to be in accordance with the religious practice.
Hong Kong over the past decade has spent millions in the form of Tunfu Payments for compensating the locals for bad Feng Shui. When the rail link between Hong Kong and Mainland China was made the govt paid 10 million as Tunfu Payments to the locals for disturbing their Feng Shui.
Task at Hand: You are required to develop a township in any part of Hong Kong that is not in accordance with Feng Shui. You have to put your PR strategies in such a way that supersitions and the myths related to Feng Shui are debunked from the core.
