What to ask tarot

So tarot card questions are actually a lot different than asking a specific question. You wouldn’t say, for example, “Is my dad going to graduate?” because if you got the 3 of cups, you would be utterly confused as to why I did not provide a yes or a no. So below I am going to list questions that are good to ask the cards.

• I’m at a fork in the road. Which way should I go?

• How do I weigh out the choices I have? What are the Pros and Cons?

• What do I need to know to make the best decision? What do I need to know?

• What do I need to know about a situation with a family member?

• What do I need to know about my love life?

• What do I need to know about my career?

Moving forward

I’m living for the new Harley Quinn cartoon series. In it, Harley breaks out of Arkham asylum with Poison Ivy, and finally dumps her chronically abusive boyfriend, the Joker.

I feel like it deals with so many real struggles I’m facing lately. I wish this type of cartoon had been around when I was younger, when everything was about straight relationships, where the woman was saved by her love and she became complete.... yuck.

This accurately shows women’s friendships, (Although, I would love for them to make Harley and Ivy a serious couple 💚) how hard it is to deal with being underestimated for your gender, and it shows that You can do whatever you want if you just try and try again, regardless of the “glass ceiling” women deal with when climbing up the ladder of success. That’s why Harley Quinn is my woman crush Wednesday, cos she’s really crushing it ❤️

Quick spell to release before the new year

Paper

Pen

Candle (best to use white or black)

On your piece of paper, write down what you want to release before the new year. This can be bad habits, relationships you wish to end, anything which no longer serves you and you don’t wanna carry into the new year.

Say a prayer over it, asking the spirits to release you from what you wrote down and burn it. Scatter the ashes away from your house, you don’t want the energy to get reattached to you.

Quick tips to cleanse cards 💜

Tap them 3 times, either with your right palm or against a table

Cleanse with the 🌝 leave them in a spot where they can absorb the full moons light and energy. This also cleaned them

Crystals 💚 I love my crystals and this is no exception! I usually use amethyst or selenite (as shown in my picture ) or you can use clear quartz as well. You can leave your cards under or over the crystal, (generally 1-24 hours is what I do) or tap the cards with your crystals 3 times.

Smudge. This I use as a last resort because most smudging plants are actually endangered, appropriated, or not ethically sourced (palo santo, sweet grass, white sage, etc. ) but what I do usually is, I have some white sage I bought and I’ll mix it with some lavender, so I don’t need to use much. Or, I’ll wave it over some incense I’m burning (usually patchouli)

A transgender couple celebrated their love in Bengal’s first ever trans wedding

Tista Das, a transgender activist and actress, married her partner Dipan Chakraborty in a Hindu ceremony in Agarpara, Kolkata in front of friends, neighbours and family members.

The couple met while Tista was working at a trans legal clinic. Dipan is also transgender.

“This wedding will boost the transgender community. It will have a huge impact as the trans community fears being rejected by society. I wish Dipan and Tista a happy married life. They are both wonderful human beings,” said Aparajita Bose, a member Human Rights Law Network Kolkata, to The Times of India.

Tips for your moon time 🌙

Many people are only taught the very sterile, scientific details of their reproductive health. They’re taught it’s something not to talk about, something “shameful”. But many cultures thought of moon times as sacred. Something to be treasured, for you are able to be the bringer of new life. So, without further ado, these are my tips.

Don’t use commercial products

These products are usually made from GMO cotton, as well as certain chemicals that just shouldn’t go near your yoni. Instead, opt for menstruel cups, reusable cloth pads/period panties (these options of course have the added benefit of being reusable, saving your money and the planet 💚) or, use organic cotton pads or tampons from a health food store.

Drink red raspberry leaf teas

These are awesome. They give you good iron to help balance your cycle, as well as they tone the uturus (to help post natal ladies, prolapsed uturus) and it helps with PMS and cramps

Crystals

Use garnet for cramps/pain, and reduce feelings of sluggishness. Use jade (especially white) for its loving energy, cramps, mood swings and balancing hormones. Use moonstones to balance hormones, menstruel cycles, it’s the master healer for women. And, it’s a very nurturing and calming energy.

Remain positive

I know people see this time as “awful, unclean, awkward, and a time of pain,” but thinking like that will only make it worse. Revel in your sacred moon time like the Goddess you are ❤️
