Hello Kind Tumblr Friend, I've been painting all my life, so decades I guess. I used to do children's book illustration but now I just paint whatever I want to. I LOVE gouache. It's so forgiving. :-) One thing that I've been doing that has really helped my sketchbook paintings has been taking online classes through Domestika. The two instructors that I recommend are Laura McKendry and Adolfo Serra. They are more watercolor than gouache but are really helpful with lots of great tips and techniques. And the classes are less than ten bucks = win! Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Draw on!
