Toyozu Mountain Resort in Nabunturan, Davao de Oro
This Japanese-themed resort is famous for its private and public pools with therapeutic and tolerable hot water. There is also a man-made cave that serves as sauna for people who likes to steam bath. Some benefits according to my research are: Easing Pain, Reducing Stress Levels, Skin Problems and Asthma. Please avoid drinking alcohol before or during sauna.
Overnight stay is not a problem for people who wishes to stay longer. You can also avail their private jacuzzi with cottage for an affordable price!
How to get there? Private Car - you can search in google map "Toyozu Spring Resort" Commuters - from Davao Ecoland Bus Terminal ride a bus going to Nabunturan Public Terminal which only costs 120Php-250Php and it only takes 2hr ride.

One of the key attractions while en route to Mati is the Sleeping Dinosaur. Tourists are greeted with a beautiful view of an island that resembles a submerged dinosaur sleeping on its belly. This stunning view is located at Badas Point in Barangay Dawan. For a clearer view, there is a viewing deck beside the highway in Badas Point. It is better to ride a private car or van so you can easily stop over because buses do not usually stop at the viewing area. How to get there? When you are in Davao take a van from Davao Ecoland Transport Terminal, estimated time travel will be about 4 hours approximately 165 kilometers. Cost of the travel is about 200Php. After capturing this fascinating view, check out the beaches in Mati City. You can surf, skim and go on snorkeling. Watch out for the BIG waves! If you want to fully experience the Sleeping Dinosaur you may as well hike to the top of it. Ask a local for assistance on how to get to the island itself. This will be a long walk for you but a better destination for first time hiker. Don't forget to bring your own water bottle. Environmental fee will be 10Php only. Remember to be a responsible traveler and dispose your trash properly.
