Remember this movie? the one that made grown men wet their pants? Well I’m terrified of this movie but for a very specific reason.
When Coraline first meets the Beldam she is a bit skeptical, but overall happy and trusting. She is only a 12 YEAR OLD CHILD, and is manipulated and seduced by a monster. She gives her happiness and love to the Beldam, and then, when she says no the first time, the Beldam pulls out another side of her personality. She hurts Coraline and takes away the one thing Coraline wants. Her parents.
This truly terrifies me. This happens every day to real people. Bad people seduce good ones and when they do one small thing the bad person doesn’t like, they will physically and/or mentally abuse their victim. This goes on in the real world, and you don’t have to be a magical witch to be doing it.

Can we take a minute to talk about this book?
yes. this fricking book.
This book is much more than a story about a group of boys. This book is about moving on from bad things, this book is about having and loosing friendships, this book is about the dangers of separating the social classes, this book is about pain. This book has taught me so much about other people and my self. It taught me that no matter where a person comes from we should never judge them by their stereotype. This book taught me to hold my friends close and cherish them. This freaking book told me crying doesn’t make you weak, holding in emotion does. I CRY my eyes out every single time i read this book, and not because Johnny and Dally died, and not because it’s so damn tragic, I cry because I can relate to every single character. I’m smart but sad like Ponyboy, I’m goofy yet caring like Sodapop, I’m physically weak, but mentally strong like Johnny, I’m tough but fiercely loving like Dallas, I’m willing to make sacrifices for those I love like Darry, I’m carefree like Two-Bit, and I’m loyal like Steve. This book has taught me more about myself than anything else ever could and if you haven’t read it, please go and read it. I KNOW you will like it.

Imagine being Sam and Deans friend.
-Knowing them from hunting
-When men/women start to flirt with you they get really protective
-Having a million inside jokes
-When Castiel comes by he always makes sure to say hello
-Dean won’t let you drive the impala, but if Sam isn’t riding he will let you sit in  the front
-Trading hunting tips and sharing weapons
-Interrogating men/women you date and being very protective
-Just a super sweet and wholesome relationship

Look at hiccup in this scene. He is worried that when or if he ever becomes chief he will fail. He even says later in the movie he was so scared of becoming his father because he thought he couldn’t live up to his father. He isn’t scared of becoming the chief, he’s scared of failing his father. I feel like this really helps us understand his mind and really gives his character some depth.

Out of all the amazing things about the How To Train Your Dragon movies, I still think the eyes are the best thing. The emotion and amount of detail will never cease to amaze me. The way the scales around the eyes move when the eyelids open and shut is memorizing. The reflection of the sky and trees in the iris’ and the fact it looks wet and shiny it just breathtaking. You can see the emotion of joy and fear in the eyes. The way the pupils dilate and grow are amazing.

Can we talk about Claire Novak for a minute everybody??
Not only is this girl a total badass, but she overcame the vengeful war child stereotype and became a full and very important character.
She has snark and sass, but is also respectful and level headed when she needs to be, not to mention she is one of the most forgiving people, if not THE most forgiving person in the entire show! Castiel took away her whole life, but she still cares about him and has found happiness with her new family. And she genuinely appreciates his efforts to be a father figure to her, even if they are a bit odd.
She cares so genuinely about everybody she meets, even if she doesn’t show it all the time. So, she may seem like biker barbie to some people, but I genuinely Love Claire Novak!!!
