How Canada's Federal Parties Vote On Housing Policy in Canada
I'll be updating these semi-regularly leading up to the next Federal election. They're dated, so you can check your copies to see if you're sharing the most recent one.

To be clear, I'm not a huge fan of the carbon tax. As it functions now it seems more like a social license for our oil companies to keep polluting and our government funds the fossil fuel industry, pushes through pipelines on unseeded Wet'Suwet'en lands and produces more oil and gas now than ever in history.
That said, it is NOT the cause of these high grocery prices. Pierre Poilievre is lying to you.

Congratulations Canadians, you've made it half-way through the year. This means if you're working, you've earned half of what Canadian CEOs have earned in the first 45 minutes of work on January 3rd, 2023!
If you don't like it, I dunno, maybe just work as hard as 243 people. Apparently CEOs do, as goes the logic of bootlickers!

Socialists, communists and the labour movement are responsible for winning the reforms that built the lifestyle that the Right likes to romanticize. Then they sold out the working class by adopting neoliberalism which has wrought destruction and inequality. Fascism is not the solution.

"I consider the passage of the Franchise Bill, the greatest triumph of my life." - John A. MacDonald The Franchise Bill barred women, Chinese, First Nations and men of any race who didn't own property, from voting in elections. The hero of the Conservative party.

Politics are LOCAL. You're not voting for Pierre Poilievre. You're voting for Colin Carrie if you vote Conservative in Oshawa. Colin Carrie is a deadweight politician that blocks constituents asking him for help on social media when he's not busy meeting with far right extremist politicians for lunch. In 2025, vote out Colin in Oshawa.

TERFs and Antivaxxers think they're anti-establishment for opposing Big Pharma, all the while swallowing the propaganda of the establishment and billionaires enriched by corporations in all other sectors, straight with no chaser.

Jesus Christ, he’s really trying to take out Twitter in a murder/suicide type way, isn’t he?

CW: Homophobia, Xenophobia
The self-purported, "Independent Journalist" behind the Toronto 99 news website and one of Pierre Poilievre's biggest Twitter shills, Mark Slapinski reportedly got drunk and went on a homophobic, xenophobic tirade last night. These tweets are archived.

Abortion is like with any issue on the Right. Conservatives can't be defined by what they support, so much as what they oppose... which is pretty much everything including sexual education and contraception which would decrease abortions.

Yeah quiet quitting is great and all but have you tried chaotic working?
Like. I remember back in my grocery store cashier days I did so much crazy shit.
When WIC (Women, infants, and children voucher program to help low income mothers/families with children) people were in my line I would pretty much know who they were. Before the cards they had to tell us upfront they were WIC and show us their vouchers for what they were allowed to get (it was awful some times. Like. 2 gallons of milk. $4 worth of vegetables etc etc). They’d always have items hanging back, waiting to see what the total was and if they would have to take it off the belt.
I began to place the fruits/vegetables a certain way on the register scale so that like 1/2lbs of grapes read as like .28lbs or something. Then act shocked when I said that they still had X amount of lbs left. They got all their fruit and vegetables.
I think it started to kinda? Catch on to the women? Because I would have the same moms in my line month after month. And even after they switched to the cards (they worked like food stamp cards?) I’d still do the same thing. They were able to get more produce for whatever shitty max amount Indiana gave them.
Anyways. Be chaotic. It’s more fun that way.

When YOU take a job you are risking:
Your ability to pay for your car payment and insurance.
The timing of when to have kids and if you can afford them.
The timing of when to have pets and if you can provide for them
Your ability to pay your rent or mortgage
Your ability to afford to pay the interest / pay back loans
Literal life and limb, depending on what you do
Your joint health, mental health, nerve health - even at a desk job
Your reputation, based on the reputation of the company - what if they scam people and your reputation is tarnished being associated with them? for example.
When your boss starts that company, they take a risk... that risk is having to rejoin the working class and be like YOU!

The media in Canada is Right-wing to Far Right. So-called unbiased news upholds and defends the neoliberal status quo and asserts it as the centre. But the centre is actually right-wing. Neoliberalism is right-wing. It's right of both Keynesianism and Social Democracy which are both still capitalism. Left only to Lassez-faire capitalism/classical liberalism and fascism. Here's an incomplete list of some Canadian news sources that actually provide left-wing perspectives.
