The wattpad issue.
Sooo Iām not sure if Iām late to the party but Iāve done some digging regarding the MASSIVE issue that many fic writes have with the new content guidelines. As far as I gathered from it they are upping the age of consent in their stories from 16 to 18. Which means if you write about two adults that are 18 and above, you should be fine.
And yes, they do hold the right to remove content, however, that only seems to apply to very, very explicit sexual content and specific content that includes animals in said content. As the guidelines word it "content that only serves for arousal" so what I take from it is that they remove books that are exclusively smut. If you write a whole fic and then throw in one or two smut chapters that should be fine.
Maybe I was just lucky but as someone who writes about adult themes AND includes smut chapters in all of my work I havenāt been affected yet. But who knows what the future might bring.
Stay safe, my fellow writers. ā¤ļø

Can you write a fanfic (on wattpad) for Javier Escuella? I'm litterly married to him AND I NEED THISš«
Hi, Anon!
Heās such a tease, our charming outlaw. Genuinely one of my favourite characters out of the RDR universe. I didnāt plan anything for him (or have an idea for a story haha) but heās defo a fave for future projects. Sadly I canāt say when that will become reality. As of now I only have my first gender specific fanfictions planned. We will see what 2024 has in store for him (and us).
Lots of love, me.

You seem to write a lot! How much do you usually write in a day, your portfolio is impressive
Omg I love this questionnnn!
Sooo, first of thank you very much. To be honest itās very different from project to project. There are times when I am able to write 5 to 8 chapters a day, which by each chapter being roughly 1000 words isnāt bad. But there are many times where I struggle and only write 1 chapter every 2-3 days, maybe even less. Some projects are still rotting away in my drafts because I just canāt bring myself to start or finish them. Since Iām doing this for a good 3 (?) years now Iāve had time to build that portfolio and find my pace. However, sometimes there are just leaps of faith like my current Johnny Cage fic which wasnāt planned in any way and squeezed in the schedule that I had till the end of this year. In that case itās pressure that forces me to write at least something every other day and publish minimum a chapter a week. Overall thereās no magical equation to figure it out, everyone writes at a different pace, in a different way and with a different style. Sometimes inspiration is a flowing river and sometimes it pulls like honey.
Hope that helped!
Love, me.
