hi racebending is unhelpful, unnecessary, often disrespectful, and i’m not here for it

instead, consider: pushing for actual poc characters to be included in the source material of upcoming media rather than making dark-skinned replicas of existing white characters?? or making fanart of existing poc characters, thereby giving them more exposure?? i’m just sayin. don’t put bullets in a movement you claim to support.

My opinion of blackwashing.

It’s lazy ,unoriginal and disrespectful , it’s like telling black peopl ‘You don’t deserve your own characters, you can only be someone’s black clone’. They want black people’s money but don’t want to put effort to earn it.

And similar to these two situations:

1. Recoloring a sonic character and call it your OC, seriously, no effort and work put into it.

2. Copying someone homework and the only difference is that you use a different color pen.

Here, be original and make original characters, don’t be lazy.

Also, if anyone just want to reply with death threats, please leave and rethink your action , Suicide bait is not allowed
