you seem a bit on edge.
Like the response to Banana Pie: It's really more made as a joke. I enjoy playing it up just for shits and giggles. Sure I have closed the Askbox in the past when something similar happened (With Banana Pie as well, go figure, I still don't understand how you found that one blog of mine I had yet to start lmao)
But if something ever bothers me Ask-wise I will address it! But usually it's just me being a gremlin.
Unless you're actively trying to poke at my nerves, it tends to be fairly hard to set me off. I'm not known to be an angry person- I might just go off on a tangent if you bring up certain subjects (Like how disappointed I am in "Boruto New Generations"). So it's really just more silly stuff.
To actually answer the question: I'm fine! Lil stressed because of life that I have to deal with, struggling with an Art block, but generally I'm okay!

Okay so, don't get me wrong. I love y'all and the asks you send. hOWEVER-... God if it isn't overwhelming to try to figure out what to do and go through 70+ asks to try to find which ones to use.
So, I am going to delete asks. Not all, but try to decrease them as much as possible. The asks I will keep are likely to be asks aimed at the characters, i.e. about them. Or asks about the Archive and lore in general.
Doesn't mean I'll return to this blog just yet, I have some other things to do and have been in a bit of an art block. Been working on an update for another blog and it's been-... Painful, for some reason. Like walking through mud.
I'll get there someday though.

Hi! This is a big ol' thank-you post for all of the lovely creators who helped me out on my anthropology final last semester <3 They were all kind enough to fill out a nearly 50 question interview for my ethnography on MLP ask blog culture.
Also, just a side note, I will not be posting again until February 16th, since that's my blog-iversary. Hoping to hit 400 followers by then, and I'm super close, so any support helps!

[ Mod ]: Okay so, I’ll answer this as a Mod rather than as Lea because it allows me to explain it a bit better. Since, to be fair. Lea herself doesn’t fully know how it works either and is kind of embarrassed to talk about it as should’ve been visible in previous updates.
Anyways, this colour wheel is the BASICS of it. However, it isn’t 100% accurate either. Remember that whenever I’ve shown Lea, she tends to be more than one colour. That is because emotions are complex and often appear hand in hand with one another. Also no, I did not write EVERY emotion here either.
When trying to decipher what she’s feeling, take into account both colours and what she is doing, what she looks like. Because if she’s more on the yellow side, she doesn’t have to be nervous, it could really just be her being excited. Could also be more neutral, and her pumped up with adrenaline and feeling energized.
But what I am NOT showing here fully, is SHADES and SATURATIONS.
How light or dark a colour is will also hint towards what she is feeling. If she is blue, she might be sad or disappointed. But if she’s a very dark blue, she might feel grief/despair. If she’s a dark red, she might be furious.
To sum it up:
Darker colours are usually negative emotions.
Lighter/pastel colours are usually softer.
However. I won’t ever give you guys an EXACT chart of what is what. That is because if I do that, I tie myself down to HAVE to obey it. Moreover, even if I wanted to, I can’t. I’d have to do an entire spectrum of colours with the different shades, saturations, etc.
Think about this as a guideline and not rules set in stone.
It is up to you guys how you interpret it. Maybe you’ll be right, maybe you’ll be wrong. Emotions are difficult. Why do you think putting colours to them would be any easier?

The Return: To Do
[ Mod ]: Since I so far have just gotten positive feedback, and because I was leaning towards it from the beginning, I am going to change up the way I draw updates to something similar to A Story Told. This means a more comic-type of style. However, there are some other changes I’ll do as well.
Asks are difficult to add to a comic layout. At least if I want to make them look good. So, I’ll be pondering over how to actually give askers a form of some sort. A good example of two people already doing this would be Ask Narrator Doe and Early Morning Tea. And I’ve had an idea of how to do this.
I just need to think about it a little bit more due to some future events. Because you, as Askers, are an oddity. And because of that I need to make you make sense. But also... Not be a part of the usual.
HOWEVER this is NOT a restart! This is just a style change Sort of. I’ll pick up from where I left off, so no worries there. However be aware that with this comic style I will be able to get to stuff I’ve been wanting to get to for some time-
Which means, a tonal change of the blog as well.
This blog was never meant to stay entirely light-hearted. It was always meant to have darker tones, which you’ll all see what I meant eventually.
To-Do:
Figure out what to make the Askers be represented as.
Figure out how to style updates.
Make a reference and possibly tweak Lea’s design a smidge. (She’ll mostly stay the same, I’ve just been wanting to re-visit her design.)
Also as a heads up: In school a new project has just been introduced. And this one’s a big one, which will require my attention. It is a large group project which means I’m forced to focus on my tasks there to not let my peers down. So I can’t tell you when I’ll be back. I just know I will be back, and I have ideas of what to do and where to go.

[ Mod ]: So, I’m not actually entirely certain of what you mean. The closest would be if you are referring to Twilight’s library from the show. If you are referring to something more specific, like another blog or a fanfiction, let me know.
But to make it simple: No. The Endless Archive is not a part of the Twibrary. Because, The Endless Archive is a thing of its own, wholly unconnected to the show. Really all there is in common is colourful ponies.
The Archive is a dimension of its own, created by the being you guys know as ‘The Overseer’. I made this universe and blog the way it is, just so I could easily have an excuse to interact with other blogs. Because it is a magic library whose door can appear at random in other universes.
But in the end, the Archive is a thing of its own because that way I can do a bit of whatever I like with it. And not feel restricted by the show and its rules.

[ Mod ]: Despite my reputation (For those unaware, i’ve been dubbed the ‘Goddess of Angst’ by dear friends of mine) I actually don’t draw my characters being sad, tormented or similar all that often.
Due to some memes my lovely boyfriend sent (I.e. how an Amogus with big shoes can be used to make it look like a character is crying) I was reminded of how I haven’t explored how the heck I want to draw tears. And I’m still not certain. Tried to look into various tutorials but none all that helpful just yet.
But I’m still- Quite happy with how this turned out? At the same time not entirely so eh. Anyways, have a distraught Lea.
This is not canon, by the way. This is just me experimenting. Exactly what it is that has happened, who knows? Something really bad though, that is for sure.
Also: I usually don’t mind silly comments, but please refrain from silly jokes on why she’s upset, alright? Mostly just since in this case, they really don’t fit.
