It's been 6 months since I have traveled south, and everything has changed while still staying the same all at once. Started strong, blown opportunities, second chances, and someone there to hold close at night. The sensation of not being in control has started to take over, but this time it has taken more than one prisoner. They are stuck with me, and maybe it's my fault. The truth is fatal, but the water might snatch me whole. I am tired of swimming, let the water take me, but the other half is waiting there

A Concept to say goodbye to 2021

This year was pretty weird.... I can’t say it was a huge success, that I conquered all my demons, or that I cleaned up all my mistakes yet. But I can’t say it was a massive failure either, I didn’t completely fall in my mission, and I broke a bad habit that was slowly eating at me. Felt more like a filler arc, not much story progression...if any at all. We did do a bunch of crazy things though, like a ton, you were a stupid, and you went overboard sometimes. If you got one thing out of this year, it's plenty of stories to tell for the future. Cheers to 2022, and a new beginning!

A Concept for the Beginning of the Road Trip

It has finally come around to that time again, it's constantly looming in the background every time I come back home. To leave my most comforting, and sacred domains to venture into uncharted territory. Thankfully this time, company is plentiful and more is soon to come. The trip will be tasking, and the nights will be long...but these places I pass by are nothing I have ever seen. Maybe I will come back one day, but for now I must head south

A Concept for a Birthday

Last year was brutal. Probably our worst year to date, only beaten out by one other year. Everything was filled with life, dreams, and hope. We had no idea what a sucker punch we were long overdue for..... it utterly knocked us out cold. But we picked ourselves back up, we got out of the hole, and we broke our habit. It might have sucked for most of it, but there were still good moments had. A comeback is on the horizon, lets celebrate what we overcame before we get too ahead of ourselves!

A Concept about being Rusty

Months have passed since I have been in the oasis, and due to my absence my sword has grown old & rusty. Old & rusty from improper care, slothful intentions to improve the craft, and overall neglect. On the horizon, the battle storms onward, and my partner expects my hand side by side to their own. I must go back and prepare before time runs out, and I will wage war on the dance floor once again!!

A Concept From Two Years Ago

I wonder what myself from two years ago would say about where I am, and who I am now. Would they hug me and cry into my shoulders, knowing that just by seeing me that things get better for us. We survived the hell we were in. I know myself from the past would ask about how we push through our overbearing grief, and I don’t know if I would have an answer for them. But I would reassure them, hug them tight, and tell them to thank their lucky stars for where we are
