Long live the King Jesus
Crucifixion of Jesus - It portrays his death as a sacrifice for sin. One reason Christianity is exclusive is because of the nature of personal Christian (or saving) faith.
Masonry, however, strips sectarian religion of these encrusted errors and reveals itself as the universal religion. It becomes Christianity without Christ, Judaism without the Law, Islam without the Prophet.
1 Corinthians 10:11-12: So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!

Cox is a link in a long chain of great illustrators. Combining the ability for characterisation of Lesie Ward (better known as Spy), with the humour and energy of H.M. Bateman, with the soft gentility and relaxed atmosphere of Ardizzone :)
