it is so incredibly sad to constantly see kids on instagram and tiktok who are younger than my brother have to literally beg for shelter, food, water, medicine, and their right to exist as human beings
i mean, this young girl is only ten years old, yet she is essentially responsible for convincing random people scrolling through instagram that her and her family’s life are worth fighting for

hooo boy this piece. took a bit to get it to where I was happy with it; I even preemptively designed their clothing, which is something I never do for any of my art. and I'm very very happy with the outcome :D
initially I wanted Ren's cape to be gray (like his 3rd life skin), with the blood dripping down staining it red and forming the pattern of the dogwarts banner. sadly though I couldn't make it work :[ still incorporated the blood motifs though hehe
oh and the lunar eclipse is a direct contrast to the full moon under which Ren was decapitated crowned the Red King by Martyn :]

🚨🚨 In the space of 2 weeks we’ve gone from a pilot project that involved my cousin making and distributing one pot of fortified stew a day to a fully fledged soup kitchen with 10 volunteers that feeds 160 families a day or roughly 800 hungry people daily, in Omdurman #Sudan
To do this we’ve cut out all possible overhead costs to ensure we can feed as many people as possible
🟢Our volunteers are unpaid
🟢Our cooking utensils are borrowed
🟢The kitchens storage rooms are donated free of charge
🟢Transport of food items from the market to the kitchen is free courtesy of my Cousin’s Tuk tuk.
🟢However, in order to maintain this kitchen beyond Ramadan we need you to support this Gofundme that is now fully funding this kitchen 🙏🏽
