The duality of my art is either trying to interpret scenes from the Journey to the West books, or characters, through a lens I can understand them and convey what I feel the emotional crux of them is as well as their established relationships in the bonds of brotherhood and friendship - as well as the Monkey King himself and how much of an emotional powerhouse of a character he truly is conveyed within the pages.

The other half of my art; is memes or fluffy stuff because sometimes I just wanna see the Monkey King get a fucking hug or punch a man in the dick.

people are way too comfortable being dismissive of children and teenagers. if a toddler comes up to you and starts explaining skibidi toilet lore or if a 13 year old asks you if you want to hear about their mha ocs you have to listen with utmost sincerity or at least pretend to. this is the only way you will get into heaven.

the fact that i'm no longer the same age as the protagonists of novels and films i once connected to is so heartbreaking. there was a time when I looked forward to turning their age. i did. and i also outgrew them. i continue to age, but they don't; never will. the immortality of fiction is beautiful, but cruel.
