Meet the King of Clubs, the trans pride knight! The blue flowers are forget-me-nots, a symbolic reference to Transgender Day of Remembrance. The butterfly on the shield speaks for itself I think. Thank you all for giving feedback! The Pride Knights Playing Cards, art prints and uncut sheets are now available for pre-order here: prideknights.com ⚔️🌈

reminder that for many people, passing as a (cis) man is a lot of work. for many people it's something that requires a lot of effort and even then doesn't consistently lead to being read as a respectable (cis) man. for many disabled people, that effort is too much sometimes or all the time. for some that effort could potentially hurt them financially and/or socially. being read as a cis man is not as easy as "cut your hair and wear a hoodie" for everyone. and people who cannot put in that effort deserve to be respected and listened to. it is in fact vital that we hear their experiences.

i've made this post before but it bares repeating. it's always so wild to see young trans kids be like "oh i'm 18 it's too late for me" and more importantly seeing that being like, pushed from other trans people bc when i came out at 15 back in 2009, literally What You Did was just. wait to turn 18 so you could move to a major city and start transitioning. i got on hormones at 23 (nhs waitlists) and top surgery right before my 25th birthday. i consider myself a pretty early transitioner. i'm 30 now and i still experience changes from my hormones bc that's what it is to exist as a human and have hormones in your body. you're fine.

I don't know what trans man need to hear this but you're allowed to be angry. It doesn't make you evil. You are allowed to experience all possible emotions without apology and still be a good man.
*this is about trans men specifically, do not derail. You are free to make your own post*

a long time ago i watched a tik tok from an older trans woman, in her 60’s or 70’s. someone had commented on another video of hers asking “why don’t we ever see trans men from your generation? why aren’t they involved in activism?” and her response was “because a lot of them died.” she told stories abt the trans men she knew who committed suicide rather than be married off and forced to live as a woman, or died from medical neglect or botched abortions. “they would be here if they could, but they can’t because the world failed them.”

The people who police your gender will police your gender even if you're cis.

No meticulously kept transition timeline pics. Just go faceless for five years and tell everybody you were trapped in the microwave. When people post old pictures of you, that's your twin who died in a trapeze accident. Play the long game.
