Davina Kelly loved parties, especially high class ones like these. She wasn't rich by any standards, but hey, she could put on a sparkly red dress and pretend she was for a night. Champagne? Of course! Horderves? God, that was such a weird word. Sounded like something Jenna would have at one of her parties. Whatever, if tiny sandwiches and crackers with spread on them were fancy, then she was in.

It wasn't that she was looking for a sugar daddy. Not at all. Nope. Never. But hey, if some cute guy (or girl, she was an equal opportunity not-sugar baby) offered to buy her things, she wasn't going to turn them down. She was selective with who she approached, careful to avoid wedding rings, just in case. Though, being a mistress wouldn't be all that bad, especially if she was paid to keep quiet.

Whoever this asshole who'd approached her wasn't anything close to what she was looking for. His breath smelled of booze, and if his words weren't so slurred, he'd probably be saying something racist about how Asian girls are submissive. She thought she caught the word Japanese in there, which almost made her laugh, because she was Korean, not some weaboo's dream girl. She tried to push him away, but he was strong, even when drunk. Fuck. She tried again, but he almost collapsed on her.

And then someone interfered. He threw his body in-between the two and yelled at him. Eventually, it turned into a fist fight, and Davina let him get a few good punches in before pulling him away. She shouldn't admit she liked the fact that the drunk bastard probably had a broken nose.

"You good?" He asked. Oh, shit, that was her friend's older brother Colby. Small world. She hadn't really had a proper conversation with him, but he didn't seem like a bad person. Especially because he interfered. Still, she was annoyed that she couldn't get the guy away on her own.

"I could have handled it myself." Davina grumbled. Part of her wanted to go home, but she didn't want to give that drunken idiot the power to ruin her night.

Colby knew the risks of working this party, especially whenever he noticed his younger sister coming through the entrance with her crew of friends. God, they were insufferable little bitches. The Porter’s were a well known pillar of society, but there was something so incredibly boring about the mundane lifestyle that the Porter name brought him. For most of his life, he had rebelled against it, and selling drugs at a party was exactly on par for Colby’s way of life. He thrived on the aspect of being a chill, laidback, and drama free kind of guy but the moment he ended a sale and his eyes floated to see one of his sister’s friends trying to push away an overbearing flirt of a guy? He became the opposite of those things.

“Hey, fuck off,” Colby said as he approached the two, putting his body in between the predatory male and the familiar girl. He had known her for years now and while he tried to keep his distance from anything his sister’s life entangled in, this was a moment he couldn’t help. After moments of bickering and the high rate of douche bag that Colby was working with, he couldn’t stop himself. “Alright,” he said with a soft laugh before he was raising his fist and delivering a punch to the male’s face. He didn’t stop, and after a couple of punches, the other male didn’t either. It wasn’t until the woman that he had been protected pulled Colby away that he stopped. “You good?” He asked, ignoring the scream of threats from his surprise sparring partner.
