(also I AM 18 and older I do not know if you allow younger than 18?)
I am professionally diagnosed with autism (level 1) adhd, bipolar 2 and bpd, I also have a diagnosis of GAD, but I think I might’ve gotten an upgrade and am too scared to ask for help about it. I had to get the life altering combo— the five for one special. And that’s on trauma.
I don’t really talk about these conditions much since this is a blog mostly about physical disabilities, and I had a hard time accepting my BPD for a few years because of stigma, but I literally don’t care if people judge me for being cluster b. And I know better now that BPD doesn’t make someone bad.
If you demonize cluster b disorders— including NPD, you don’t belong here.
Minors may follow/like/rb but do not try start a platonic relationship with me.

nooo I don’t have IBS/lh, I have mesenteric ischemia from my arteries being twisted and narrowed— I also have celiac disease that causes severe reactions to gluten and therefore even more intestinal issues

You say you’re supportive and understand of disabled people but are you supportive of people who have urinary or fecal incontinence? Are you supportive of people’s disabilities when it has to deal with something like a biohazard or something unsanitary?

This is so fucking funny LMAO. I am NEVERRRR going to let them love this down, starting with my ex pcp who suggested it was psychosomatic.
I was right. On my ultrasound they found out that my superior mesenteric artery is tortuous (twisted) and narrowed, and my celiac artery is also narrowed. This is causing lack of blood flow to my organs and all of the symptoms I’ve been having for three years.
It took one doctor to believe me, and then one test to confirm. I want to feel happy but I can’t, not fully, because I knew it would take so little to confirm or deny my suspicions— yet all the doctors previously didn’t believe me, and the last GI doctor laughed at me and said “[a vascular compression syndrome] is a zebra in a field of horses”.
I was right, and it almost fucking killed me to get this test because of all the other useless doctors who couldn’t set aside their egos.

things about my arthritis that i experience daily. making this post partly for enlightening, partly for seeing more people with this b#tch (arthritis) relating so i'd feel less alone
i'm in pain all the time, but when one specific joint decides to go ouch? yeah i hate it
i unlearned limping within years of having it
"can we sit down and rest? thank you. oh no i think i need more than a minute. okay fine let's go walking further. *five minutes later* can we sit down?"
holding onto armrests while sitting down/getting up. that includes clinging to walls when i try to sit on the toilet or stand up from there
joints cracks
"i walked a lot yesterday so i can't get off the bed in the morning. help me"
fatigue. all the time
you know it when people throw a leg over another leg to sit like that? i grab and hold the leg i'm throwing over another one. not always, but. it hurts less this way
jumping? running? haha no. can't afford it
i had to quit basketball and figure skating. i loved it :( but crying in pain was... too much to handle
when planning a meeting with friends i always need to make sure there are places to sit down
can't fall asleep, too much pain
