Zosha Aulak my ‘human’ noble celestial warlock!!  👁⛓⚜️ Older art! This was my character in the game I was in with the Wailing Wisteria, they had opposite vibes but both believed in no mercy and bonded over that   This piece was overall a lil rushed cause I wanted to finish it before our first session but this was on of the first times I began to play with my painting style! And I got to try having a character design where the main outfit color is black so I’m still pretty happy with the outcome!

Thank you @rereadanon & @energievie for thinking of me, and @celestialmickey for creating the game!
🌈 Macy's Tag Game Tuesday! 🌈
Name: Michelle (Mys)
Age: 38
Where in the world are you: London, UK
The meaning behind your URL: When I got into early 2000 British Indie music everyone in a - not yet famous but oh so close to making it!! - band had a real first name and a last name consisting of part of their band name (Zac Needs of Special Needs for example) and everyone who was band adjacent went by a first name and a (often, but not always, alliterative) made up last name (Dave Danger, Zosha Bangles, Sophie Thunder, Laura Love, and so on…) hence Michelle Misfit. Which also fit into all the art I was doing at the time (for pay and not) and the dreams of opening a little shop in Camden on day, all of which came under Misfit Design. So the name is 20+ years old, but also Bradley James knows that that’s my username and has said it live on air (with no prompting what so ever!!) so I can never ever change it now! Hahaha
Your second favourite colour: Maroon
Any pets: Two cats, Wiggins & Howard - you can read all about them here. And also a farm full of livestock.
Favourite Season: Autumn. I work outdoors 70% of the time, so really really hot and really really cold are EVIL.
Last Thing you Read: I’ve just started the latest chapter of Dead Meet by @look-i-love-u & @energievie. Love love love.
Last Song you Listened to:
What are you wearing right now: erm… some strategically placed bubbles… 🛁
A hobby of yours: Fandom. Archery. Drawing.
Your comfort show and movie: I rotate, mostly because streaming services suck and randomly remove stuff I need to keep me happy, and appliances with DVD players are harder and harder to come by! But the list includes Buffy, Black Books, The Good Place, Parks & Rec, BBC Merlin (S1-S3), Queer Eye, Community, Taylor Tomlinson’s Netflix Specials, Middleditch & Schwartz,Great British Bake Off, and basically every other competitive baking show that exists… I don’t have a comfort movie, really, but Ruth’s comfort movie is Still Crazy, so it’s kind of become mine, too
And finally, what are you up to today? Recovering from seeing Death Cab for Cutie @ The Roundhouse last night, and getting ready to dress up and see Death Cab for Cutie @ The Royal Albert Hall tonight. Life is good right now!!!
🌈 I’m tagging @look-i-love-u, @deedala, @sufferwell1013, @thefairytail, @auds-and-evens, @heymrspatel, @gallawitchxx, @creepkinginc, @sleepyfacetoughguy, @sweetbee78, @lingy910y, @spaceofentropy, @callivich, @orca122, @francesrose3, @sickness-health-all-that-shit, and @gallavichgeek

Ben Morris - Pocket Guides - folk + big band (and some King Crimson sounds in “Edvard” - as heard on djPeter’s show on WVUD last night)
Writing for his large, uniquely-voiced ensemble, and with Influences ranging from traditional Norwegian folk music, modern jazz, and contemporary classical music, composer/pianist Ben Morris' dynamic debut surprises and captivates. With his core group—Zosha Warpeha on Norwegian Hardanger fiddle and violin, Juan Olivares on clarinet, Dan Montgomery on bass, Evan Hyde on drums, and Ben on piano—he was invited to premier four original pieces at the Newport Jazz Festival in 2019, setting in motion the inspiration to expand the ensemble & compositions to create "Pocket Guides." With visions of bustling foreign cities, Norse mythology, tundra and waterways, Morris's music is cinematic, surprising and visceral, the rich textures reflecting his experiences living and studying in Norway, Korea, Florida, Texas, New Jersey, and now Colorado.
David Bernot — tenor, alto, and soprano saxophones, flute Juan Gabriel Olivares — clarinet and bass clarinet Derek Ganong — trumpet and flugelhorn Magnus Murphy Joelson — trombone Jack Bogard — violin and mandolin Zosha Warpeha — hardanger fiddle and violin Joy Adams — cello Jonah Udall — guitars Ben Morris — piano and melodica Dan Montgomery — bass Evan Hyde — drums Sam Gautier — percussion John Boggs — voice (4)

Reaction for all your characters! They come into their room completely exhausted, ready to just throw themselves onto their beds and sleep, but before they can do any such thing, they see a cat curled up and perfectly content in the middle of the bed, purring like there's no tomorrow…aaaaand take it away!
Kostya, Yuri, Matvij, Vitaliya, Strawberry and uhh.. most of them tbh. would without question be on the floor, shivering. because that baby must not be disturbed!
Tony would pick up the cat, climb into bed and then put the cat back on the bed, hoping for warm snuggles.
Zosha would get new blankets and curl up on the bed sill, trying not to disturb the cat
Grigoriy will just grab the cat and throw it out of the room. He's a bastard.

Zosha Warpeha - Despoena (Klassik)
Tumblr media
Was meint ihr? Olivia De Prato — I, AM.-Artist Mother Project: New Works for Violin and Electronics (New World)
Tumblr media
I, A.M. - Artist Mother Project: New works for violin and electronics by Olivia De Prato
There is nothing more mystical and more reviled, consciously or not, than motherhood. What is a mother? It would be futile to attempt distillation of artist and poet A. Martinez’s profound liner notes, but among other things, she posits problem solver. That construct is always more complicated than it looks, whether involving the implications of a cut on the toe, a botched math assignment or a failing relationship. Motherhood’s implications operate along the vast continua joining and separating the sacrosanct from mundanity. To call Olivia De Prato a violinist is as limiting as labeling her a mother, though both form facets of her endeavors. She brought six composers together to make this powerful statement concerning the intersection of motherhood and artistry, as if they were ever separable in any other sphere than preconception.
De Prato’s work with the Mivos Quartet, of which she is first violinist, has gained deserved recognition, and this solo effort is actually so much more than that, as each piece is similarly collaborative on intertwining levels. There’s something huge about each one, no matter what it’s length, and that largess includes a vision of what family relationships and artistic pursuit might entail. It’s easy to get lost in the ebbs and flows of The Dream Feed, recorded virtually with Zosha Di Castri. The Tristanesque wandering of De Prato’s slithering tones complement the electronic landscape as it breeds nightmare via repetition. The security of a tonal center shifts in and out of focus over the music’s form, comprised of boundaries as permeable as those established by each note and chord. Dynamic peaks are also scaled with stunning intensity as they irradicate those tonal centers, allowing one to re-emerge only as the piece concludes. Inspired by her own daughter’s dreamscapes, Ha-Yang Kim’s May You Dream of Rainbows In Magical Lands was composed to include De Prato’s son in percussive play, a fundamental interval supporting the elusive sonic dream-states as they converge and diverge while tone and mode inhabit similarly ambiguous spheres of influence.
Through it all, De Prato’s playing brings the project into the various states of focus and permeability it occupies. Her tones on Jen Baker’s Fire in the Dark conjure all those Protean shades of motherhood itself, an interval of time viewed from as many angles as that slowly morphing third is heard as the piece unfolds. She is a musician of consummate skill serving myriad layers of expression, the perfect proponent of what is so deceptively called new music. Yes, some elements in play are as new as they are exciting, a virtual world encapsulated in electroacoustic becoming, but at the music’s heart reside problems and solutions in interplay as old and as elusive as the relationship between mother and child. As challenging as the music can be, a beautiful and magical state of flux pervades every composition on offer, bringing together diverse voices in a chorus of ascent.
