one thing that feels like it's changed about Tumblr and how folks interact with posts over the years is how many times they're willing to reblog a post

i feel like i remember reblogging the same post [not even a different version] easily 3-5 times if not more as it cycled around my mutuals blogs. it wouldn't have been a back to back thing but spread out over at least a few posts. it was okay to do, and it sometimes got posts shown to followers of your blog that didn't happen to scroll back far enough to see the last time you posted that

these days, i feel like i only see this happening after seeing a new version [new things were added or you see a diff rb chain] of a post or with those [specific day] posts [October 3rd, 4/13, out of touch Thursday, etc]. and the posts like that get an absolutely wild rb to likes ratio because you can only like a post once but rb it as much as you want without killing the non-existent algo

tl;dr reblogging a post 5 times in a month is good for everyone so do it more often plz n ty

you understood sunghoon had a hard time both expressing and showing his feelings, so it wasn't surprising when he rarely told you the infamous "L" word. you didn't mind, though. sunghoon showed his love for you through other things like giving you gifts and telling you how gorgeous you looked. the only times he would say the three words is when you two would argue and when he felt like you were slipping through his fingers. you didn't find this intoxicating, as you knew that he loved you deep down, but you did wish he would tell you more often.

sunghoon felt the same. he wanted to tell you he loves you in multiple instances — but he could never get the words right. he really did love you. he believed that in every universe you two were meant to be and he wanted you to know that. so so badly. it didnt matter what the circumstances were in the other timeline — he just knew he loved you. and as long as you were there on his side, he would be okay.

spending more time with you

sunghoon struggled balancing out his busy schedule and you. of course, he had his days off where he spent the day with you, but majority of the time he was tired and wanted to stay home. you weren't in the scene nor did you plan to be, but you still understood that your boyfriend was a busy man. from concerts, tours, award shows and being an mc at music bank — he was bound to be tired at the end of the day. he was never home with you. of course, you did facetime daily but there was still this huge block between you two.

it wasn't that you didn't support his decision of being an idol, but it was clear that this relationship was bound to end due to his busy life — if even you didn't want it to.

communicating with you

even in the smallest inconveniences for your relationship, you wanted him to communicate. it was always number one priority on both ends to initiate communication. fortunately, there wasn't many problems in your relationship — until he started closing himself. it was completely out of the blue. from the dry replies and ignoring you when you came over to the dorms — it was obvious something was up.

you asked the guys what was wrong with him and they didn't seem to know either. you thought that maybe it was just stress from the upcoming tour. you gave him his space, hoping he would eventually tell you — but he never did.

the one thing he ended up doing — pushing you away

you ended up finding that many so called fans started saying that you were the reason he lost his spark. watching sunghoon's en-logs and seeing him the background of episodes acting weirder than usual — fans were getting suspicious. did something happen between you two? did you guys breakup? now, it wasn't any of their business, but some fans didn't understand that. when sunghoon started seeing all the tweets and sour posts about you, he was angered.

sunghoon wanted to tell everyone that it was all wrong, that you weren't the one who made him loose his spark — it was them. the media. the pressure. that you were in fact the one who made him so joyful. but he didn't. he couldn't. the only thing he could do was to hope that you didn't check any of your social medias. without knowing it, he distanced himself until you both couldn't take it anymore. one thing led to the other and your relationship with the man who was supposed to be your future husband was gone. three words, eleven letters.

Floyd never forgot on how much of a koala he is towards you and is big towards physical affection. The way his arms grips around your waist as he stares down at any of his schoolmates looking at you, silently telling them to back off away from his own lover.

Oh and did I mention that before the two of you dated, Floyd's got a huge crush on you? Yupp, you heard me correctly.

And since he's really REALLY interested towards you, he's been following you non stop and dropping on some hints that he does have feelings for you. Remember that one time at PE where you accidentally tripped over and sprained your ankle? Well the eel doesn't take bullshit on anyone but him to take you to the infirmary (in bridal style for some fluff <33) and stays by your side, even after Coach Vargas nags him to go back to class.

This dude just glares at this professor to just back off and leave him and you alone ;_;

One of the traits this guy possesses is none other than jealousy, many people had pointed out that your (soon to be) boyfriend shows this scary looking grin whenever he feels like he has a competitor for your affection and love. Even your friends!! Well, except to some thoo, Ace for example....

You will never forget on how Floyd never failed to make you so flustered through physical affection, back hugs and neck kisses are his most fave way of showing that he really wants you. Watch out for your items! Because there will be always a time where he'll raise that said item upwards by his hand and refuses to bring it down to you unless you give him a kiss. If he's so daring then he'll request for a kiss on the lips.

Oh and don't get me started on his courting rituals where he gave you randomized objects he found from the sea and you can see how happy he was when you accepted those items. Not only that, but also the countless nicknames he used to call you; shrimpy (the most common and yet his most fave), munchkin, stepping stool and his most treasured nickname of all, his darling seashell.

And once the two of you become a couple, he's so sappy and a bit of a hopeless romantic. Floyd Leech maybe a possessive and jealous boyfriend but nonetheless is a huge simp for you <333

Ex-swiftie here, I feel like this is a safe space to say what I've been feeling for a long time, I discovered Folklore and Evermore in 2020, I was reluctant to listen to them and I did I became a "swiftie" or whatever, I used to be one of the freaks who would defend her like my life depended on it, ngl I cannot listen to the albums now due to what had come to light recently about some of the songs in those albums being about Ratty.

I thought okay so since I like Folklore and Evermore, I must like the other albums too, with Taylor's versions coming out I tried listening to them and I just COULDNT like them at all.

Didn't like Midnights despite it being a little unique in its own self, but still not the best lyrics.

Tried to listen to 1989, again couldn't.

70% of her songs sound the exact same, it's just I was gaslighting myself they weren't.

2023- she dates Ratty and the whole disaster.

And now since TTPD, I got bored in just 4 songs in, I didn't listen to it after that, just read a few awful lyrics here on the anti tag and let me tell you I was so shocked to read the 1830 lyric, oh god!

I found your blog a year ago and it had been eye-opening since then, so many of my friends said I had internalised misogyny for criticising Taylor and her actions.

It was disillusioning for me.

I went from being "Okay she isn't a good person but I like her music" to "she and her music both are problematic time to introspect".

Its been a journey and I am happy that I can call her bullshit out openly without feeling any guilt from my peers.

09. accidental sleep over party

act 1, scene 1

“Y/N, did u like the food?” Scaramouche looked up from his phone over to the couch where his friends all sat. “Was it your first time eating authentic Inazuman food?”

“Authentic my ass… Inazuma doesn’t use any of the Sumeru-based spices that you put in!”

“Shut the fuck up, Heizou, just admit you’re a little bitch boy who can’t eat spices.”

“Hmm? Yeah~ yummy yummy, mmm… ramen.” Y/N slurred amidst their bickering.

To her left, Kazuha chuckled as he took another sip of his drink. “And here I thought Xiao was the lightweight. If anything, she’s significantly worse... I didn’t even think that was possible.”

“Man alive, give her a break. It was her first time trying saké.”

“I should probably get her home…” Xiao’s eyes never left the view of her hands playing with his fingers. “Come on, Y/N. I have to get you home before it’s too late or Hu Tao would kill me…”

The teal haired boy tried to wiggle his way up to tug the tipsy girl away from the sofa.

“Noooo… wanna stay ‘lil longer…” She looked up at him pleadingly. “At least… lemme be sober when I get home.”

Xiao ruffled his hair, a little stressed, but unable to deny the puppy eyes peering up at him with a pout.

“Fine.” He managed to mumble before prying his eyes away from her.

“Well, then I guess I’ll get going,” Scaramouche spoke up from behind them, “it’s the weekend so I’ll be visiting my mom and aunt. See ya. No funny business in our room when I’m gone.” He grabbed his keys off the counter before starting towards the door.

“And one more thing,” he paused. “Don’t break anything.”

“Pfft, yeah yeah, we’re not kids, Scara.” Heizou rolled his eyes.

“I’m not talking about you guys. I’m talking about that one.” Scaramouche pointed at Y/N, who promptly stuck her tongue out at him in response. “And give her water or something. Anyways, bye.” He closed the door behind him.

“Can we play Pokémon again?” Y/N called to Xiao, who was grabbing her a drink of water from the fridge.

“Sure. Do you guys want to join us?” He looked over at his two other roommates.

“No it’s alright, you two go ahead. I wanted to finish this show before I go to bed.” Kazuha smiled at them.

“Yeah, same here! Plus I have to work on a case study due on Sunday so I don’t want to procrastinate too much.” Heizou added.

“Alright then. We’ll be in my room. Come on, Y/N.”

act 2, scene 1

“Feeling better now?” Xiao asked as he continued hunting for shinies with Y/N on the Switch.

“Yeah… at least I think I’m pretty sober…”

“Alright. Tell me when you want to go home then, okay?”

“It’s only nine. Can we leave around 11? I’m sure my roommates won’t mind.”

He chuckled. “Of course, whenever you’d like.”

As they continued to travel around the map together in their virtual world, Y/N got a notification from Twitch.

“Oh, Venti is streaming!” She showed Xiao her phone screen.

“Did you want to watch?”

“Can we?”

“Of course.” He said as he got off the of the bed before powering on his PC and wirelessly connecting it to his mini projector for them to watch.

She observed as the wall adjacent to Scaramouche’s bed lit up with Venti’s signature waiting screen. She shuffled around to lay on her stomach, facing the screen as Xiao got back onto the bed after turning off the lights and mimicked her. He pulled the blanket over her legs before settling back down.

“Cozy?”

“Yupp! Thank you.”

Hey guys! Oh, damn there’s a lot of you… how have you all been? My friend Cyno will be joining me to play Escape the Backrooms. I think I put his twitch somewhere in the title… if not then the mods can drop his stuff in the chat.

Yeah, we’ve been meaning to play it but Venti said he was worried about pissing himself on camera if he played alone.

I did not!

Did too.

Tch… So anyways! We’re going to try to get through as many levels as we can in one sitting. Some of our friends will be joining us as well if we have to restart!

The two continued watching their friends run through the thrilling game, as Venti continued to occasionally scream to let out his anxiety or to piss off Cyno while the latter would make panicked jokes to calm himself.

The stream in its entirety was entertaining as the two natural born “comedians” (more so Venti than Cyno) ventured through the creepy levels. However, Y/N couldn’t help but feel tired from the day’s events.

Studying was mentally taxing… Eating, drinking, and conversing with Xiao and his roommates also took a lot of energy. To end it all off, gaming—although relaxing—also took a certain amount of brain power and concentration.

The warmth radiating beneath Xiao’s blanket shared between the two project mates called to them, calming their senses. Despite the jump scare at the end of the stream, Y/N and Xiao laid there unbothered and sound asleep.

Ground Zero

Prologue: Fresh blood

"Damn it, Bianca, you can't just leave Mystic Falls!" Klaus shouted, making me stop on the stairs leading to the floor where my room was. A sly smile appeared on my face as I turned to my friend.

"A bet, Klaus?"

Don't bet with me.

"How's it going, Klaus? Any pee break or no?" I asked, taking my eyes off the road for a split second to look at my grumpy friend, who was scrolling through social media. Klaus forbade me from going, even though after so many years (sometimes I forgot how many) I deserved a vacation. Wasn't it true?

"At least check where we are," I said, seeing that houses began to appear around. My new home, here I come!

"Ten miles from some town called Beacon Hills," Klaus replied, taking a swig from his coffee mug. Then he winced as he put the cup back in its holder. "Gross"

"And yet you're still drinking it," I laughed. “We'll stop at the nearest station and wait until morning. I'm getting tired" I explained, and the man nodded. I continued to drive, when Klaus suddenly shifted in his seat, glancing intently in the side mirror.

"I think we'll might have to stop a little further" I furrowed my brows and looked in the mirror. I caught a glimpse of the driver of the car behind us in the mirror and smiled sly at him.

"Klaus, turn the music up" The man did what I asked for and fastened his seatbelts. "This is going to be fun" I said, suddenly hitting the gas. The car following us was also speeding up.

"Any idea?" Klaus asked.

"Hunters. They're going after me for a few weeks. I changed gears and looked in the mirror.

"Automatic transmission is easier, you know?"

"Manual funnier," I said, shifting gears again. Seeing that the car was still following us, I frowned.

"God, I can't have one day off?" I asked, annoyed, and suddenly turned left.

"What's the plan?"

"We're stopping at Beacon Hills. Find some house on sale" he raised his eyebrows, but he didn't comment on it, he just started looking for a house to buy. Money has never been a problem for me. I had loads of them and liked to spend them.

"They're still coming after us?" I asked, focusing on the rough and dark road.

I could see well in the dark, but I preferred to be careful.

"Yupp, they are" he smiled slowly, slowly realizing what I mean. He stretched his arms out in front of him, stretching after a long trip. Wish I could do the same.

I noticed, that the road is closing, so I slowed down and swerved hard, making us face the car that was still following us.

Klaus quickly got out of the car, stretching his body and getting ready for a fight. I stayed in the car, carefully watching the car stop in front of my friend. I noticed something in the woods, like a pair of eyes. I ignored it, though. Seeing the second car, I got out of my car. Several people got out of the cars. There weren't many, maybe five or six.

"Hungry?" asked Klaus, turning his head back to smile at you. You chuckled, showing him your fangs.

The man turned around, as hunters attacked him. They only paid attention to Klaus, which made me yawn and move closer to one of them. I tapped his shoulder twice, and when he turned around, I punched his nose. He tried to punch me back, but his eyes were filled with tears.

I quickly grabbed his hand that was outstretched towards me, and with no hesitation, threw him over my shoulder. As I leaned over to knock him unconscious, another man pulled me back and punched me in the nose.

My head snapped back and my whole body followed, causing me to fall over and roll a few meters. I groaned, feeling tears in my eyes making it difficult to see.

My other senses, luckily, still worked, and I sensed the man approaching me.

He grabbed my right leg, lifting it up, and when he did, I bounced off the other which, thanks to my grace, allowed me to jump on his back. I wrapped my arms around his neck and squeezed hard, choking him.

When he finally lost consciousness, he fell forward, allowing me to stand calmly on my feet. I ran my tongue over my teeth, feeling hunger grow stronger through the smell of blood, but there was still one man left. I turned around, facing the last man back, as he fought with Klaus. I came up from behind and hit his temple, which made him lose consciousness quickly as he fell down. I looked at my friend and frowned, seeing as his mouth was already stained by blood.

He must have had a good diet because his smell was the most inviting. I bend down extending my fangs again, and I quickly showed my fangs into his vein. His blood tasted amazing and fresh.

"Now, now, we talk about not getting used to fresh blood again" Klaus said, pulling me back. I turned around to him, rolling my eyes. He laughed as he came a little closer, gently wiping the blood from around my mouth.

"And now you look decent" he stood up again, giving me his hand to help me up. I accepted the help and when I got up we walked to my car together. Klaus got in, but I felt the need to look around the forest.

I was almost sure that I locked eyes with someone or something, but I shrugged it off and got into the car. I noticed that the sun was slowly rising, so I started the engine and drove away, heading for Beacon Hills, where I had been gone for a long time.

this is my official public statement that i will never, not even on my deathbed, nor a hundred thousand bajillion years later when i’ll merely be a squiggly skeleton in my cozy little coffin, or for that matter under any other circumstance, really, will I EVER forgive mr best football player in japan, boy prodigy Itoshi FUCKING Sae for what he did and/or said to Rin in chapter 148.

that being said, bllk manga spoilers under the cut !

it’s already very much apparent from his posture and gritted teeth that Rin is devastated by the outcome against the U-20 team. Okay, devastated might be a strong word here but he’s definitely unhappy about it—and Blue Lock won. Rin won—or, well, in his eyes, did he?

the first thing that’s reflected in Rin’s eyes is Aiku’s handshake with Isagi after the game ended with Isagi’s winning goal. By congratulating him and admitting their loss, Aiku is acknowledging Isagi—his talent as well as the threat he poses. Which is all fine and dandy, go off Isagi good for you buddy honestly BUT!! Rin has done the exact same thing in the first half. He was the first Blue Locker who could stand toe to toe with Aiku, outsmart him, and score a goal against him—an important one, too! Yet he’s not even getting half the recognition Isagi is.

And the sad part about it is that it makes perfect sense. Of fucking course Aiku’s not gonna saunter over to shake Rin’s hand while the game is still undecided—he full on believed his team was going to emerge victorious, why go on congratulating losers? (I know Rin wouldn’t have accepted Aiku’s handshake anyway lmao that fucking gremlin but that’s NOT THE POINT HERE!!!)

The point is what comes after.

Rin’s not one to go fishing for praise. He was Blue Lock’s first ranked player after the 3rd selection; he’s very much aware of his own abilities. And he has been acknowledged multiple times before by others, which he proceeded to completely brush off because, wait for it, he thinks they’re not on par with his level. Why would he need acknowledgement from lukewarm players?

Rin thinks NO ONE’s better than him at football, EXCEPT for his older brother, Sae.

Which is what makes Sae saying Isagi’s the first good striker he’s seen Japan produce—the striker who will forever change the Japanese football scene—even more heartbreaking.

This is right before Sae HIGH KEY implies that he’s finally about to acknowledge his little brother’s talents. There’s so much hope in Rin’s expression he almost looks like a kid again. There’s an honest to god little blush on his cheeks. There are fucking SPARKLES (!!!) in his eyes like EXCUUUSSEEE MEEE

even though there’s a shit ton of resentment between them, Rin really just wants to be good enough to play football with his bro again. He wants Sae to be like “yupp my bad you are a good striker”

god i cannot wait to find out what happened to sae in spain to make him such a piss baby

BUT INSTEAD we get Sae acknowledging Isagi—which fine, whatever, it’s a trend in the Blue Lock universe who am i to judge EXCEPT !!!! The whole ass reason Isagi could “incorporate luck into his play” is because he full on believed with his chest that Rin would steal the ball from Sae. WHICH HE DAMN WELL FUCKING DID

Sae sure as hell thought that was NOT gonna happen. Not even a possibility in his careful little calculations. I mean come on—

The man was too stunned to speak !!! Bitch got his ass thoroughly kicked !!!

Basically:

Couldn’t have said it better myself king

and yet. AND YET

like literally what was the reason. Why go on and declare that you acknowledge Isagi, but not Rin? I know there was a fat chance of it happening anyway—but then why not just stay silent? Sae is also pretty much aware of his brother’s abilities (besides that surprise one-up). He knows Rin’s smart enough to eventually figure out what his flow state reveals about himself—reveal what he’s missing. So why? Why declare it to Rin’s face?

Why do this to him?

At this point, there’s no more room in Rin for devastation and feeling like a disappointment. That’s all he’s been feeling for the past years. He’s done. All that’s left after this is bone deep hatred.

Unless I’m colossally missing smth, or this action will be redeemed in the next 200 chapters, Sae’s just cruel here. The only outcome I can discern from this is that now Rin’s and Isagi’s rivalry isn’t one-sided, but I genuinely fucking believe that would have been achieved regardless of Sae’s bullshittery.

SO IN CONCLUSION:

Jamil thought that he would never find someone who could love him, even after his overblot situation and his status as Kalim's servant in the Al-Asim household. Before he got in a relationship with the Ramshackle Prefect, he was a tad bit mean to everyone and that includes you, the magicless student to whom he least expected to have a HUGE crush on you and what I mean by that is that he fell hard for you the moment he saw on how patient and caring you are.

You didn't budge, not even one bit everytime he asks you to leave him alone and he deeply admired that stubborn and head-strong personality of yours. As soon as you walk away, he couldn't help but a smile appeared on his face after he talk about his worst moments of his day and keeping Kalim on safe hands.

After all, both of the families would have his head if they knew that Kalim's in danger because of him.

Just like the other characters, he had his own way to show not only he cares for you but also that he's romantically interested on you. This is common but his cooking skills will be put to the test every he gives an "extra" on you, claiming that he made too many. And the was his heart sped up, threatening to come out everytime you complemented his cooking.

Another thing is sending you cards and the small paper notes on your locker every morning at exactly 8:00 in the morning. Your smile is his serotonin and his school days aren't complete when he doesn't see you smile, wether it's from his gifts or not. His hard and snarky personality still pertains, even after you've become his lover but you've figured it out why; it turns out that he's a tough cookie and doesn't trust anyone, well except for you because you are the only one he trusted whenever he speak about his personal thoughts.

His self hatred towards his status becomes so overwhelming that there are times that he'll lock himself in his room in the dorms but eventually wants you and you alone in his room. You gladly accepted the invitation and you'll come over as soon as he called for you and he did the same for you whenever you are in distress.

This guy stick to two nicknames; pudding and starlight.

It's because the sweet dessert's sweet and jiggly consistency reminds him of you. It's cute and sweet and quite delicious ;)))

As for starlight, he reminded you of the brightest star he'd seen and quite frankly, despite being magicless, you are quite breathtaking and the one who lights his way during his darkest times.

Did I mention that you alone are the only one who gets the privilege to touch and style his long hair?? Yupp and he indeed loved it when your hands worked it's magic <333

"Spud!" He looked straight at the Prefect who was scrolling through Magicam as he spoke.

"Yes, Vil?" she never looked away, eyes still glued to her phone despite knowing the irate housewarden was liable to curse it when he got like this.

Vil just rolled his eyes and moved to stand directly in front of her. "Who's the most beautiful person in the world?"

"Mom."

Vil paused. Her mother? Was she a model or something? The Prefect had never mentioned anything like that before. "Answer honestly!" he snapped upon coming to the conclusion that it must have been a joke.

That got the prefect's attention. "I am being honest, Vil. In my opinion, my mom is the most beautiful person in the world, both inside and out! She did her best to raise me while still taking care of herself, made sure I always had clothes I liked, everything. So yes, my mom is the most beautiful!"

To prove her point, she turned back to her phone and pulled up a picture of her mother before shoving it into his face.

Vil blanched. The woman was indeed beautiful with amazing hair, eyes and even skin. Suddenly, he regretted thinking the Prefect would joke about something like that.

After all, clearly she had a reason to be prideful of her mother.

Rook

Rook stood in front of the prefect, once again ranting about how beautiful Vil was. The girl simply hummed along, eyes closed and hardly paying attention anymore.

"And who would you think the most beautiful person is, hmm?" he asked, regaining her attention.

"My mother," she responded without thinking. She didn't have to, after all. To her, nobody in the universe would be able to beat her mothers' beauty.

"...Oh?" he asked, confused.

"Yupp. Nobody will ever be better than her, if you ask me. Mom's just the best."

Rook hummed thoughtfully. Of course, having pride in your mother was important, but surely she was exaggerating...

The prefect opened her eyes and studied his face. She sighed and pulled out her phone, pulling out a photo of her with her mother.

"See?"

Rook stared in amazement at the older woman. "Tres Belle!" He cried out. "Her hair is such a lovely colour..."

She smiled as Rook began a new rant, this time on the beauty of her mother.

Epel

The two first years were in the lounge in Ramshackle, Epel hiding from Vil once more. The prefect was laughing as her friend complained about Vil's newest task for him. "An ESSAY!"

"So, he wants you to write an essay on who you think the most beautiful person in the world is and you're worried it's a trick?"

"EXACTLY!" Epel took a deep breathe to try to clam himself. He whirled on the girl on the couch. "Who would you write it on?"

She didn't even need to think about it. The answer was easy, it had always been the same and she doubted it would ever change. "My mom."

Epel stared. "Yer MOM?! Is this some kinda joke?!" His accent slipped through - a show to how stressed this actually had him.

Still, she glared at the insult. "No, it's not a joke! My mom is the most beautiful and I would gladly write an essay on her!"

As proof, she grabbed his hand and dragged him up to her room, only to snatch the photo she kept on her beside table and shoved it at him. "See?"

The picture was the only thing she had when she appeared in Twisted Wonderland, and it was of her mother.

Epel stared. She..was beautiful. Everything Vil had taught him about beauty was used as he analyzed the picture and realized the prefect hadn't been joking but had been correct.

Instantly, he knew who he was writing Vil's essay on.
