We tend to underestimate the little moments. We remember the chaos. The death-defying adventures. The deaths themselves. Those moments are memorable. But the comfortable silence that we can share at the end of the day? The moments that tell me that everything is going to be alright when I can hold your hand in mind? For the past 4 years

Every time I've gotten super into a media that was in English, and it's come time go pick a favorite character

Somehow I always manage to find the most neurodivergent woman, with the most contextually out of place accent, with the least screen time as a character appearing in multiple seasons, and decide that that's who my favorite is

And I have no idea how I've managed that every time without fail

AMPHIBIA AU TIME LETS GO!!!

Ok so, everything is the same until Anne takes Marcy and Sasha’s gems. Sasha gives hers over to Anne, but Marcy holds onto hers still. She takes one for the team by keeping it though. She uses the last of the power she has left to fly around to the other side of the moon.

She would have destroyed the core if 1, she had enough power left and 2, if it hadn't been in her head. She empathizes with it. Anne, holding onto Sasha, gets there just in time to see Marcy grab the core.

Marcy and the core become one again, but Marcy keeps control. She saves everyone’s lives, including her own. There was still permanent damage from when Andrias stabbed her. With the effects the core used to keep her alive waring off, she only had maybe a few more hours to live.

Before Marcy re-joins with the core, it makes one final move. With Anne and Sasha distracted, it shoots out two of it’s claws. Marcy tries to stop it, but she’s too late and Sasha’s right eye and Anne’s right arm are lost.

Marcy gets hella pissed and makes a deal with the core. She will have control of the body, deciding who gets to use it when. In exchange, she keeps the core alive, she gives it a host.

With the help of Andrias’s remaining robots and Anne’s powers, they’re able to stop the moon. When they land, they get fussed over and whatnot. Insert fic I wrote like a week ago here.

Because Anne didn’t use all three stones power, they still have some juice in them. The trio give back half the stones power from each of them. They have some still left in them, meaning they can still use their powers and junk, but to the level Anne had before. They’re able to travel back and forth between worlds still.

Marcy doesn’t move away. She gets adopted by Olivia and Yunan, who are the new queens of amphibia. She lives with Ally and Jess while on earth for school. Ally and Marcy are siblings in this au. She deals with the core’s shenanigans on a daily basis, but they end up getting along after a while. Marcy still hates Aldrich’s guts though.

Sasha get adopted by Grime, who has partial custody over her with her dad and step-mom. She has a pretty stable home life now, even though she has tons of step and half siblings living with her.

Anne gets adopted by Hop Pop and Mr. and Mrs. B adopt Sprig and Polly. They’re one big happy family.

The trio have some side effects from all being together with their powers. Anne gets plant magic, Sasha gets water and Marcy gets fire. There’s a bunch of other little details I want to put in here but this is long already.

Long story short, the trio can use their powers and the music box to travel between worlds. They help rebuild Amphibia to be much better than it was before. They stick together as well and eventually start dating.

I am in the process of writing something with this au, though it has a few more quirks. Thank you for reading and thank you for watching Amphibia.

If I had a nickel for every time one of my favorites was a neurodivergent non human character with very little screen time who was supposed to be more important to the story than was given the opportunity to and was kind of scary at first impression bit very quickly dropped the facade, who was also oddly tall compared to the characters most frequently drawn next to and with an accent few if any of the other characters at all had, all the while being a known Warrior (tm) and simotaneously being the biggest girl failure of the entire piece of media---

The Calamity is on what’s supposed to be a routine data pick-up. Some outpost on a far-off planet was abandoned in a panic when one of the scientists was killed in an experiment, and everyone forgot to back up their research to their ship’s systems before leaving. In fact, it almost seems like they specifically tried to encode it so it wouldn’t be read, but it’s more likely it’s just classified information they didn’t want just anyone to get their hands on.

But the crew of the Calamity aren’t just anyone. They’re some of the best-equipped individuals in the galaxy to deal with shit from outer space. Led by Captain Andrias Leviathan, this is the perfect mission for fledgling communications officer Ensign Anne Boonchuy and her colleagues and fellow graduates Sasha Waybright and Marcy Wu. Even with the four little stowaways on board, this mission should go off without a hitch.

Until it doesn’t, and Lieutenant Percy is found dead, and fingers start pointing at a deadly alien impostor onboard. As the casualties start mounting up and the list of suspects starts narrowing, Anne has to chose her allies carefully, or she’ll risk losing everyone she loves.

yes. yes this is an Among Us AU. yes I made the entire plot of this in one day. yes this AU has the highest major character death count out of all of my AUs. yes, I plan to pull your heartstrings and make you scream at me. and yes, Marcy is sus.

please look at all the tags before reading, as this fic is gonna have some pretty,,,, interesting stuff in it! it’s a murder mystery AU with eldritch alien bullshit sprinkled in for good taste, so yeah, graphic description of corpses (among other things) coming right up!

that being said, here’s a sneak peek from the fic:

“I could easily bust a ghost even if they were real,” Polly Plantar had chimed in, then, with a chorus of agreement from her companions - her brother, Sprig, and his “totally-not-girlfriends” Ivy Sundew and Maddie Flour. The four kids stowed away on the ship when Anne and Hop Pop had boarded, and originally had been kept away from the work being done. They’d begun poking their noses into things anyways, however, and the crew soon discovered that the little kiddos had a lot more talent than they’d originally been given credit for, Polly especially being a jack-of-all trades. You got a problem? One of them could likely handle it almost as easily as any of the adults onboard.

And then they’d all been called back to tasks, and the group dispersed from lunch. Polly skipped along after Marcy back to the room where the central database was, the core of this whole operation. Much of the information was annoyingly encoded, but their job was just to upload it to the Calamity’s computer and work through the encryption later. Polly, of course, was already working on cracking some of it, and had proudly announced that one of the words was “BIOLOGICAL” before lunch.

“Captain Leviathan to Lieutenant Wu. Marcy, can you come meet me onboard in my office? I have an important matter I’d like to discuss with you privately.”

Marcy jumped slightly at her comm badge going off, but quickly recovered and responded with a quick “Sure thing, Andrias! I’ll be there in a sec.” She shrugged at Polly, and the little girl made a face in return.

“Probably something science-related. You are the head of that department.”

Marcy nodded in agreement. “Wish me luck.”

“Good luck.”

Everyone I've come to a conclusion for the PJO Amphibia Au

The premise is that there are two camps Greek and Norse

Camp Half-Blood is where most of the story will be since 2 out of the 3 girls go there

Marcy, Anne, Sprig, Polly and Maddie are campers at Camp Half-Blood

Camp North Point is the Norse camp, and it replaces the New Rome Camp

Sasha, Percy, Braddock and Ivy are campers at Camp North Point

Hop Pop is a satyr and adopts Sprig and Polly

Olivia and Yunan are counselors at Camp Half-Blood and were previously campers

Grime is a counselor at Camp North Point

King Andrias runs Camp North Point, but he plays a big role in Camp Half-Blood

A post about which godly parents the kids have will be posted later
