Love Me, Love Me Not Live-Action Film Releases Full Trailer Featuring Theme Song by Official HIGE DANdism
Toho MOVIE's official YouTube channel has posted a 90-second full trailer for the forthcoming live-action feature film adaptation of Io Sakisaka (Ao Haru Ride)'s romance shoujo manga Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare / Love Me, Love Me Not.
The clip features the film's theme song "115 Man Kilo no Film" (The film of 1.15 million kilometers) performed by the four-member piano rock band Official HIGE DANdism. The song was originally included in the band's 2018 album "Escaparade."
The live-action film is directed by Takahiro Miki, who previously worked on the adaptation of Sakisaka's Ao Haru Ride in 2014. It is set to be released in Japan on August 14, 2020.

It's one of the songs that we've cherished with all our fans. We were surprised at first when we heard that this song fit with the theme of the film. Meanwhile, the manga's anime film adaptation directed by Toshimasa Kuroyanagi (Say I Love You) at A-1 Pictures (Oreimo, Sword Art Online) has been also in the works. It was originally scheduled to be released in Japan on May 29, 2020, but has been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. It is still planned to be released before the end of this year.

Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare Anime & Live-Action Collaboration Clip Streamed
Toho MOVIE's official YouTube channel has posted a 30-second collaboration clip featuring the latest footage from the forthcoming anime and live-action feature film adaptations of Io Sakisaka (Ao Haru Ride)'s romance shoujo manga Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare / Love Me, Love Me Not.
The manga was serialized in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret from June 2015 to May 2019 and released 12 tankobon volumes. Its English edition Love Me, Love Me Not,'s publisher VIZ Media introduces its first volume's story as: "Fast friends Yuna and Akari are complete opposites—Yuna is an idealist, while Akari is a realist. When lady-killer Rio and the oblivious Kazuomi join their ranks, love and friendship become quite complicated!"
The manga's anime film adaptation is directed by Toshimasa Kuroyanagi (Say I Love You) at A-1 Pictures (Oreimo, Sword Art Online), on a screenplay by Erika Yoshida (Tiger & Bunny). Io Sakisaka's Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare Shoujo Manga to Get Anime & Live-Action Film Adaptations
It is officially announced today that Io Sakisaka (Ao Haru Ride)'s shoujo manga Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare will get its anime film adaptation in May 2020, then its live-action film adaptation in August 2020.
The manga has been serialized in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret since its July 2015 issue. Its story focuses on two high school girls: Yuha Ichinose, who is shy and tends to dream about love, and Akari Yamamoto, who is very active about love relationship. And the manga is scheduled to be concluded with 12 volumes and its final chapter will be published in the magazine's June 2019 issue to be released on May 13. It has printed more than 4.5 million copies so far.
A-1 Pictures (Oreimo, Sword Art Online) works on production of the anime film. No other details such as director and voice cast have not yet been available.
Meanwhile, 44-year-old Takahiro Miki, who previously worked on the live-action film adaptation of
Sakisaka's Ao Haru Ride in 2014, is attached to direct the live-action film.

Love Me, Love Me Not Anime Feature Film Gets New Release Date of September 18, 2020
The official website for the forthcoming anime feature film adaptation of Io Sakisaka (Ao Haru Ride)'s romance shoujo manga Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare / Love Me, Love Me Not announced today that it is newly set to be released in Japan on September 18, 2020. The A-1 Pictures-animated film was originally set for May 29, 2020, but has been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Message from the manga author Io Sakisaka:
"I am truly pleased to be able to announce a new release date to you like this. I think there are many people who are still confused by the strangeness that what they used to think of as everyday life is no longer so. That's why the characters in this film, who feel inconvenienced by some kind of limitation but also have compassion for someone else and seek what they can do within that limitation, become something we want you to see. I hope this film will reach many people."
Message from the director Toshimasa Kuroyanagi:
"There is a light that we can grasp because we struggled through the chaos. In a situation where the staff members couldn't meet each other properly, each of us did our best in our respective positions to the very end, and we were finally able to complete this film.
