I totally understand how you feel. It sucks sometimes, being kin from a YouTuber ego squad. I technically kin two, Antisepticeye and Buddy/Captain/the MC for a lot of his choose your adventure videos... It's weird, that the Mark I remember *is* that same Mark, but also... He was different. He wasn't JUST putting on characters, he was separate from the others. He was so, so similar to the Mark we know now, our favourite YouTuber Movie Maker Goofball, but he wasn't. And trying to even CONSIDER finding him...
As much as I'd like to, I think I'll just have to stick to chatting with other ego kins with separate names and identities.

just saw a take that was essentially saying that the reason you can't ship tmc characters together is.. because they are the actors? like, they're one in the same? and that's hilarious because, no. you know what this sounds like? "darkiplier is the same as markiplier and if you kin him you're factkin"
I'm sorry but adam is not ty. ty is not a demon. he cannot shapeshift. just like markiplier is not a demon, and doesn't glow a red and blue hue.
my point? I want to know why we can't ship these characters when it's literally no different from shipping from movies, tv shows, books, etc. I understand how the cast feels, and I have an extremely hard time believing that it's not rooted in homophobia, especially from kister.
especially when he's never had any qualms with people shipping heterosexual ships.
(and if you're still thinking about it: no. kinning dark or anti has never and will continue to never make someone factkin. they are fictional characters with lore! they aren't even alive!)
