My God, they are so cute in that spread pages...😭 idc they're basically on a beach date!
Also, I love how Nika is still the one initiating the talk and showing more affection towards Damian when they are completely alone. I guess Nika is more of a private person when it comes to relationships?🤔 Or just like she has said, it's all new to her too, so she was trying to figure this out with him, slowly.
They clearly want each other's company(Damian wishes for Nika to be his girlfriend; Nika wishes for him to come with her), but they both understand they have different businesses/goals that need to go through first.
Think they're mutual pining for now🫠(they're still not officially dating right?)

A statue by Georg Ehrlich, which I came across recently near St Paul’s Cathedral. It was installed in the Festival Gardens in 1973.

Minister and Minors In Nuptials Denounced
----
A sweeping denunciation that took in almost everyone connected in any way with the marriage of Verner Craig Millward, 17-year-old soldier, and Florence Ruth Leroy, aged 18, was delivered by Mr. Justice Forest in the Superior Court today as the soldier asked to have the marriage annulled.
Included in the general indictment by the court were the young husband, two witnesses who were present at the ceremony, the clergyman who performed it and the issuer of the marriage licence. To the last-named, His Lordship issued a court order to appear and be examined in connection with the formality of the licence and the case was adjourned to March 11 for that purpose.
The young husband, appearing in uniform, claimed that the marriage was illegal because he was a minor when the ceremony was performed and he did not have the consent of his parents or of a tutor. He explained to the court that his parents were dead and added that his grandfather had given consent to the match but had refused to attend the ceremony.
Rev. V. Rhys, Anglican clergyman, who performed the marriage, was sharply rebuked by His Lordship.
"Don't you know," queried His Lordship, "that you should not perform a marriage of a child of 17 years?"
The clergyman replied that he understood that the licence covered the case, since it stated that the consent of a guardian had been secured. He was advised by the court that such consent was a valueless and that only a properly constituted guardian was legally entitled to act when the child's parents are dead.
