bakusquad w/ quiet but caring fem!reader
reader has a portal quirk which allows her to make portals and teleport.
> everyone in 1A thought you were a complete bitch since you never sought out to talk to them. you just had a resting bitch face
> one night after training, iida was struggling with making the communal food and he was going abt the whole process sluggishly.
> you noticed, so you walked over and gently took the knife out of his hand and took over. he just stared at you in shock as you quickly but perfectly cooked dinner for 1a that night.
> you found it calming, so you silently decided to cook dinner for the class once a weekish. maybe twice if you were generous.
> everyone is super thankful for the food, but nobody really said anything else to you.
> you were feeling like cooking in the dorm's kitchen today, so you started to make spaghetti. you were making the marinara pasta and alfredo pasta since you didn't know which kind everyone liked. halfway through, denki came up to you.
> "thank you for dinner, y/n. your cooking is always super good," he praised. you nodded in acknowledgement, but didn't say anything.
> denki then asked if he could rest himself on you and you obliged, seeing nothing wrong with it. he wrapped his arms around your waist and his head rested on your shoulder.
> you both stood like that as you continued to cook. mina took notice in the silence without denki and glanced over at the kitchen to see you 2 together
> mina quietly, but super excitedly got most of 1a's attentions. "guys!!! look at denki and y/n..they look so cute," she ranted.
> people started to watch you and denki as you offered him a bite of the pasta and he approved it. you softly smiled at denki and everyone saw how sweet you actually were.
> unwrapping denki's arms from you, you carefully set the table with both pastas in the middle and went over to iida to tell him that dinner was ready.
> to say you were shocked that everyone was already staring at you was an understatement. hell, even bakugo had his gaze on you. you nodded in greeting and quietly announced, "food's ready."
-
> the bakusquad started to include you more, unintentionally. yk? it just kinda happened.
> sero and denki started hanging around you whenever you would be in the kitchen making something. you would 'accidentally' make extra portions just because you knew one of them would ask for a bite (denki would definitely attempt to eat all of it.)
"y/nnn" denki drags out your name as he dramatically lands on your lap. you look at him and he continues. "can i have a bite? it smells so good." you smile as you answer, "of course, there's extra on the stove."
"hey y/n, what's that?" denki looks to see sero pointing at your food. "just something i was craving. i accidentally made extra, so you and denki could have it. it's on the stove still if you want any," you explain with a small smile.
> jirou is 9 times out of 10 awake til 3am. she can never fall fast asleep unless she's absolutely exhausted. most times, to help her fall asleep, you stay in her dorm as she puts movies on to entertain the both of you. she's out like a light when you sleep in her dorm.
> you 2 also share playlists with each other, fight me. jirou loves when she plays a song on her speakers and she finds you bopping your head to the music.
"thanks for coming over. sorry for waking you up, y/n." she softly says, opening her dorm to let you in. you sleepily drag your pillow and blanket into her dorm, settling on the floor.
"it's not really a problem," you yawn out. "i'll put a movie on, just get comfy and go to sleep," you assure her as she looks at you with guilt. you put a movie on and 10 minutes later when you look over to check on jirou, she's quietly snoring away.
> you and mina would go out together, yet whenever you were tired, you would just help her pick outfits. she was definitely your go-to gossip buddy, even though you usually found yourself listening to her as she rants abt this annoying girl at the mall.
"y/n!! i've been looking for you!! where have you been?!?" mina exclaims to you with a loud volume. "sorry, i was jus-" "yeah, yeah, sorry, but we need to talk and walk. emergency girlie," she interrupts.
you 2 walk to her dorm and she throws herself on her bed, using her hands to express herself as she rants. you sit at her desk and hum acknowledgements to show you were still listening and you try to give feedback to her. she normally ends up frustrated, so you teleport to the nearest gas station to buy her favorites.
"thank you so much y/n!!! you're a lifesaver babe." she praises
> you and kirishima, i feel like he would definitely be into taking care of you more than you taking care of him. he loves to be cared for, but he wants to show that he's there for you..so you 2 get together sometimes after school to have small 1 on 1 discussions together. it's normally abt each other's weeks and school work, but sometimes it drifts to the new restaurants in town or potential hangouts together.
"y/n, i need a little bit of help on the homework today. did you finish it?" kirishima asks.
you nod and without a word, walk to his dorm. it's routine with you 2 now. kirishima would ask or offer something and you would wordlessly walk to his dorm. you're not one for words and he gets that.
after you help him, kirishima lays down and you wait to hear what he has to say. "y/n, is there anything on your mind?" you smile and avoid his gaze as you confess. you're easy to get to talk, you just need someone to show interest in you.
> bakugo..he's the type to challenge you after school to spar. you're a decent fighter and you've already told him that you don't want him to hold back.
> so he doesn't and he sees you improving. you find new tricks or moves for your quirk and you never tell bakugo, always insisting to try it out in the moment. you have a small scoreboard in your room for whenever someone wins. bakugo says is super childish and stupid, but whenever he's at your dorm door to tell you something, you see him glance at the scores.
> speaking of being sparring buddies, he's also your gym buddy. sure, he has kirishima, but kirishima doesn't usually go to the gym straight after school, so you find yourself spotting each other.
"come on, woman. one more." bakugo insists, always getting you to fight the pain and work harder.
tears threaten to spill out as exhaustion hugs you close. "i can't, bakugo, my body's tired." you hang onto the pull up bar. "one more and i'll be off your back. come on." he says. his motivation isn't the best, but you oblige and do one final pull up slowly. bakugo helps you down, holding your hips as your body tires out.
a/n: wasn't as short as i had intended it to be, but it works. ngl, im actually super proud of this one :DD

The Harkers have got me fucked up. Not just from how much they're going through. Not just from how well they know each other.
But in how much is not being said. How much that appears to have been missed.
Mina has just made their friends swear to euthanize her. In front of Jonathan, who she knows cannot/will not make said promise aloud, though she tries to fish it out. A funeral service, yes, but no more than that. She takes the wins she can, relying on the others for the sacrificial slaughter while she pries what she thinks is some mote of acceptance of the Worst Case Scenario in Potentia from Jonathan. Perhaps she's read the vampiric vow of his journal by now. Perhaps not. Perhaps she already suspects either way and wants desperately not to see him damn himself, damn both of them, to avoid raising a killing hand to her.
She is going into the dark. What kind, she does not know yet. But she knows--thinks she knows--she has taken some measure to save her soul and Jonathan's. God's will be done. (Piety trembles in her heart, a fear trying frantically to still look like faith.)
Jonathan, meanwhile, is in Hell.
As it was in the castle, there are some miseries too deep to dwell on for him to stomach writing them down. Hence his tapping Jack to record it all. But the silence from him here, bar the dodge of the promise that goes against his private vow, bar the reading of the burial service, sinks deeper than any horror he suffered from the Count in person. What can he be thinking now?
I made this all possible. I opened the door to England for him. Showed him how to spread his poison. Failed to strike a killing blow when I had the chance. Slept frozen and useless beside her as he drank and made her drink. Lost him by inches in Piccadilly. Now I am here, listening to her claim so sunnily that any man of old would murder his woman to save her from the enemy's touch, as if asking for a trifle. All the while I sit contemplating a hellish betrayal, holding my heart over her wishes, over sanity, humanity, Heaven and Hell. Contemplating worse.
(The kukri is very sharp by now. In time it will have so fine an edge that no one would feel its cut before their head toppled off. Be they in a coffin or a friend with their back turned. Sickly, he finds the thought cold and placid in his mind. Is he not already damned for what he's allowed? Is he not already slated for the Count's collection? He knows whose blood it was on the monster's lips on that final dawn in Transylvania. And when he dies...)
I imagine he has to stop himself from making a mirrored request to the others right there. Has to stop himself from handing Mina the Bible and asking her to read it out for him. If she is lost, he is lost. It is not merely undeath that he would follow her into--whatever she is, wherever she goes, so must he be, so must he go.
Read it for me now, darling. You laid it all out so eloquently. I am already lost but for the wait for the grave. Come everyone, while we're here. Two funerals. Two sets of oaths. I can perhaps save you half the work, if I fall neatly enough on the kukri. Pry it from my heart and take my head when the time comes.
But he bites his tongue. Does not touch his pen. Does not risk heaping another weight on his love who is already crushed beneath existential terrors that are being thrust on her by the actions of others. She does not know what he is planning, even if she suspects it by half.
What she knows: Jonathan cannot raise a hand to her. (He would have me as a monster than not exist at all.)
What he prays she never will: Jonathan will be anything she is. (Mortal. Monster. Dead.)
One last secret to keep.
All the way to the grave.

SHOUTA AIZAWA WAS A GRUMPY DUDE. Be it his resting neutral face or his introverted nature that made him appear in such a manner, the man was just always grumpy-looking. The longer he went on teaching 1A, the more each of them began picking up on it. When they started to really pay attention to him, they marveled at the fact that one can keep the same face for so long.
During the early school hours, they could never see anything else. He always wore the same monotone expression or was just straight-up gloomy.
The main theory was that he simply wasn't a morning person. Everyone and their mothers knew that Aizawa almost never slept; some started to speculate it was some weird quirk that was assigned with the Erasure.
Case in point, his expression never changed. They got so caught up in their conspiracies that some of them were just downright outlandish- though it didn't stop them from creating a pool so they could place their best bets.
It went from a 'maybe he didn't like being around kids so he was always pissed' from Mina down to the possibility of him being an android that was only programmed with one emotion- which was whatever expression was always permeating his face- from Kaminari.
As the school year flew by faster than they had anticipated, they agreed that they would never be subjected to such a sight and that witnessing a comet was probably less rare than this.
And it was like they had almost literally jinxed it.
The following school day, for the very first time since they all started school, Aizawa was actually the first one in the classroom. They had been accustomed to waiting a few minutes every day because he was always late to class and it just didn't start until he felt like showing up to teach them.
Apparently, every one of them noticed because as they filed into the room and sat at their desks, none of them said a single syllable. The sound of their shoes clicking and tapping against the floors was the only sound. One by one, they quickly and quietly sat down; not a single one had the gall to say anything.
Though he wasn't paying attention since whatever was on his phone was more interesting than the fear that was being instilled in them just because he showed up on time. "Just do whatever. Don't be too loud."
And there it was! Mina nailed the bottom of her shoe into Kaminari's calf the second Aizawa turned his eyes away, "Ow! The heck-" She sternly motioned her head toward the front to witness him ever so subtly turning up a smile and looking at his phone.
Just like a line of dominoes standing perfectly, one gets tipped and it's a constant chain reaction. Kaminari gasps before turning around and shoving Kirishima's face off his desk. Kirishima in turn reaches across to slap the back of his palm onto Sero's bicep. And even though Bakugo says up and down he "didn’t care." Sero swiftly crouches down to stretch over and push his shoulder.
Considering they were absolutely not subtle, the rest of their classmates gazed at the interaction between the group of friends before and they all followed suit. It dawned on a few of them that there were probably better things to do, but this was probably going to be the most interesting thing for them for the rest of the year.
He commented on having to go to Mic's room for something, never tearing his eyes from his phone while stalking into the hall and the room erupted into a fit of noise- some confusion and some just pure excitement.
In the midst of the chaos and flurry of kids standing up from their chairs, Jirou lit up like a cartoon light bulb and swung over Kaminari and Mina's legs to get to the wall to try listening in. She knew it was at least morally gray but there was an itching feeling of needing to know building up in the back of her head like a tub filling with water.
“A lot of them have been giving me weird looks lately. You know what the hell’s going on with them?”
“Who knows Sho! Maybe they found out.” He never looked so smug in his life.
“Yes because I’m so sure they know I’m married, Yamada.”
“Oh my gosh.” In succession, three little words got a room full of jittery and rambunctious students calm into a cluster of whispers before quickly dying out. “He’s married!” She all but whispers. If they weren’t loud before, they sure were now.
A heavy, squiggly exclamation point and mark hung from the ceiling whilst they all clamored over one another to rush back to their seating arrangements before Aizawa could saunter back into the room likely due to the deafening noise of themselves.
They knew; their catlike curiosity had been satiated and in those few short minutes, they defied “curiosity killed the cat.” Because maybe it didn’t always kill the cat, maybe the cat's curiosity had greatly been put at ease, all 20 of them.
It was like watching them in a pressure cooker, one of them was bound to crack; breaking under the closing weight of that sated curiosity, so maybe curiously did in fact kill the cat. The silence was eerie and the tension was rapidly increasing until it was all that filled the air.
Much to their delight, they carried on about their day without any of them spilling their guts or (weirdly) without any questions from Aizawa about their behavior.
Neither he nor his class spoke a word for the duration of the school day and when it was time for them to leave and retreat to the comfort of their rooms, they collectively let out a sigh of relief they were all holding in.
He lets out a dreadful sigh before sluggishly crawling into the bed next to you, "They freakin’ know."
The giggle you let out made him wipe off the grin that littered his face before turning his face toward you. "And why do you think so?"
"I went out in the hallway and Yamada let it slip that I was married. Jirou must've been listening ‘cause they got really loud and I heard a lot of shuffling before I walked back in."
"That could’ve meant anything Sho'."
"Yeah, but they were all silent for the rest of the day. That doesn't just happen, not with them. And some of them were also being weird for like a month until they stopped like two months ago until it started again today."
You lifted the lower half of your body up from the mattress to sit above him and pull his head into your lap to comb his hair back with your fingers. "If it started again today then you were probably smiling at your phone when we were talking."
He scoffed, "I do not smile."
"Oh, you freakin' liar you definitely do. Ask Yamada, he has videos of it."
"You know, sometimes I think I shouldn't have gotten married to you." He’s clearly kidding.
"Oh, you're so overdramatic, Sho'. You'll be fine. What's the worst that could happen?"
"They're gonna bombard me with questions until they get answers."
You gasped dramatically and threw your right hand over your heart, "Oh no! How dare they ask questions about their teacher. Monsters I say!"
“Oh whatever." He rolled over onto his back and hid his face in his arms.
And you swore you could almost see the faintest of grins.

Maybe it’s because you had deprived yourself of it for most of your life time that now you seemed to crazily demand and need it. One would think you’re a maniac, in fact, for how desperately you needed it. How desperately you needed him. It’s been over two weeks since Hyunjin, your boyfriend went on tour with the rest of his band members and it’s been the most agonizingly painful weeks of your life. You were used to him leaving for a few days or so, to work in the studio on a new track or album, but he never slept out in the period you’ve dated. You thought it wouldn’t be that big of a deal since you’ve been living fine all your life without any desires or needs, physically. But oh boy were you so wrong. Hwang Hyunjin was like a drug that you didn’t know you needed, the kind of drug that takes you to cloud nine, the type of drug that gets you into that headspace. The kind of drug that takes away all the pain that could ever exist and replace it with pure ecstasy and bliss. The kind of drug that you so needed every night for the past two weeks that you’ve been laying alone and cold in your bed.
Back in college your friends would tease you of how you scared away every boy and or girl that liked you, they said that you would spend the rest of your life alone and sad, masturbating to yourself miserably having no one to fill that void in your heart and in your pussy. You would in fact, cringe at their dumb comments and remarks saying that you found none of the people that approached you attractive or likeable. “They’re just meh for me you know,” you had once told Mina, your best friend. “Have you just considered the fact that you’re asexual?” She had asked you. You had actually considered this fact but hadn’t pried much into it and to be fair there was no one that attractive in school, they were all just so, well, meh! That was until this goofy looking guy came up to you this one time in the hallway with a red card said hi to you in the nerdiest way possible, gave you the card and scurried off after pushing back his big round glasses. You were confused that was clear, first and foremost you had never seen the guy and second who does that.
“I like you, go out with me. Please.” That was what the card said, you couldn’t help but giggle a little at the gesture looking around the hallway to see whether the goofy looking guy was around even though you knew he was far gone. Going on that unexpected date was the best decision you seemed to have made that entire semester, you found out his name was Hyunjin and that he was a trainee at JYPE Company. You eventually ended up seeing each other more than often turning your friend’s heads and by the time both of you were done with college, you and Hyunjin were officially a couple and he had also debuted.
You were both happy of your achievements and made a promise to be there for each other no matter what, and that’s exactly what you did. Despite his many schedules that he had Hyunjin still made sure to make time for you and despite your hustle of finding a job you also made sure to be there for him and support him through his idol career. It was hard, you were not gonna lie about that. Sometimes you wished he would change his career option, but that was when you were most tired of everything. The times when he would come home too tired to listen to your conversations, the times he would cancel your dates cause of work, the times he would just stay home crying because of what stupid ass anti k-pop people would say; this was the worst period of time in your relationship. But despite the challenges that came with his career and the negativity that sometimes surrounded it, you knew you wouldn't want Hyunjin to be doing anything else. You loved seeing him on stage, doing what he loved, and you were proud of all the hard work he put into it.
Besides he always made it up to you one way or the other, he always ensured that you felt loved and cared for, cherished and treasured. The laughter you shared in your little apartment on the wholesome nights you spent together talking about everything and nothing, the little dates he took you out to when he got leaves and the amazing sex you had after was all you needed to convince you that you needed to stay and Hyunjin was worth it.
But as Hyunjin’s fame soared, the dynamics of your relationship seemed to shift. The increasing demand of his career meant less time spent together a contrast to the initial days. Yes he was still busy during the previous days but it didn’t compare to how busy he got after releasing their first full album. Balancing the desire for more of his time and understanding the sacrifices he made for your relationship (the sacrifices you also had to make) became a delicate dance, so when he told you that they had a tour coming up to promote their new album you were puzzled. Of course you were happy for him, he had accomplished so much but you missed his touch, his company, his sweet sultry voice and everything about him.
You lay in your bed staring up at the starry ceiling you remember you and Hyujin painted when you moved in your little apartment. You felt sad? Mad? Angry? Frustrated? You didn’t even know, maybe it was a mix of all these but what you did know is that you were horny and needy and so much more. If it were even possible. Hyunjin had called you earlier that day but you weren’t in the right emotion to pick up the phone so you just let it ring as tears stung your eyes. You ended up falling asleep after supposedly memorizing every star painted on your ceiling, you were so deep in your slumber that you didn’t hear Hyunjin walk in that night, you didn’t hear him giggling at your cute sleeping form. You didn’t feel the delicate kiss he placed on your forehead and you definitely didn’t feel him slip right behind you, spooning you and whispering a sweet goodnight to you. So when you wake up the next morning and feel a body pressed against your back you’re a little bit startled but calm down as soon as the scent of him fills you.
“Jinnie?” you murmur sleepily turning to face his beautiful sleeping face.
“Mmmh,” he groans before opening his eyes. “Morning baby,” he coos back at you.
“What are you doing here, I thought you guys would be done next week,” you asked sincerely shocked as you sit up on your elbow.
“Don’t you want me here baby,” he asks in a pout as he scoots closer to lay his head on your tummy.
You giggle at his antics and thread your fingers along his silky hair.
“Jinnie you know that’s not what I mean,”
“Well, there is heavy rain in Jakarta, that was our next stop so we cancelled that and I decided to come home to you my sweets,” he answers placing a soft kiss on your covered tummy.
“Oh ok. Lemme go make you something to eat then, am sure you’re hungry,” you say as a matter of fact as you make way to leave the bed but Hyunjin holds you back tighter.
“Let’s just stay like this a little bit longer, yeah,”
“I need to get to work Hyun so I have to get up anyways so let go. When did you even get here?”
“Last night, when you were sleeping. You looked cute,” he says as his hands slop under your sleeping shirt. “And peaceful. Just skip work today, for me?”  His hand stops right beneath your right breast and you can feel what you’ve been needing all those days back, his simple touch.
“We can’t do this now Jinnie. Am sure you also need rest.”
“I don’t, I slept all the way here in the plane so am ok. Just stay please.”
Honestly you also don’t know why you’re trying to run away from him, from what you’ve been wanting and needing so badly for the past two weeks. He was right there next to you, touching you, talking to you just like you wanted. Maybe it was the guilt of the all the emotions you had in the previous days, killing you from the inside.
“Baby,” Hyunjin’s sultry voice breaks you from your thoughts, he slowly lifts his head from your tummy and his hand now fully lays on top of your breast.
“I called you last night, wanted to tell you I was coming but you didn’t pick up,”
He is now straddling your hips as you lay flat on your back staring at his beautiful eyes that held all his love for you.
“I-I must have been asleep-”
“S’ alright at least I gave you a surprise,” he leans down and his soft plump lips meet yours and you swear you feel yourself ascend. His lips felt like the softest pillow made of itsy-bits of love and admiration. The kiss was slow and delicate, it was as if Hyunjin was taking his time to express his feelings trough the kiss, speaking volumes of the countless conversations missed during his absence, apologizing for all the time lost, for all the dates he canceled because of work and re assuring you that the promises you once made to each other were still alive and he intended to keep them. He kissed you fervently as if telling you that you were his future, the one he would be with forever, the one he would always come back to after a long day at work or after his tours, it was a kiss of relief for the both of you, a solace.
Hyunjin pressed his lips harder against yours almost as if he never wanted to part, never wanted to stop kissing your beautiful lips. He only pulled back when he tasted a hint of saltiness on his lips (sure of which he knew were tears and not blood since he was positive he hadn’t gone that rough). You also only realized your state when you no longer felt the comfort of his lips on yours.
“Baby, what’s wrong? Why-why are you crying? What’s the matter?” He was quick to sit up right, but not fully placing his weight on you, thumb swiping away the stray drops of tears on your flushed cheeks.
“N-nothing, just so happy you’re back,” you say barely as a whisper while you sniffle in between your statement turning your head to avoid Hyunjin’s gaze and wiping your own tears rather harshly with the back of your hand. He slowly turns you back to face him, delicately pushing your hand from your face.
“Am. Happy. That. Am. Back. Too.” He tells you punctuating every word with a peck on your eyes, nose, cheeks and lips. You smile at him, the kind of smile that he always said made his heart beat a tad faster every time. This is why you stay back, why you had the strength to keep waiting for the last two weeks. Why you still hold on despite the frustration, anger, sadness and loneliness at times. Because of his lovely existing self.
“Baby,” Hyunjin whispers, his hand that had been laying a top of your breast groping it harshly.
“Jinnie, I-I, you…..”
“Need you. I need you love, so bad.”
It is only then that you notice the clear hard on pocking at your naked thigh.
Hyunjin lowers himself once again to your lips, kissing you shortly then proceeds to place open mouth kisses on your neck and collarbone. He maneuvers to slide off the spaghetti top that you have on and within no time you feel the warmness of his lips on your breasts kissing and sucking. You grip his bare back, nails holding tight onto his flesh sure enough to leave a mark. Your body melts against is touch, completely giving him full control to do as he pleases because that’s the kind of effect that he has on you.
Hyunjin snakes his lips down your abdomen and stops at the waistband of your sleeping shorts. Your eyes that were shut the entire time shoot open at feeling his warm breath there. You both look at each other for a while, the silence in the room might seem awkward to a stranger but you relinquish comfort and trust from it knowing that your sweet love will take care of you. You frantically nod your head at him and the smirk he gives you sets you off further than he already has. Your shorts fly across somewhere in the room and you are left completely vulnerable in front of Hyunjin, he looks at your pussy as if it’s the first time he’s seen you and embarrassment suddenly washes over you. You have no time to dwell on that feeling since Hyunjin immediately takes it away by giving a long lick along your wet slick folds, he gives a somewhat hum of agreement, or is it satisfaction, and the vibrations against your folds have you moaning out.
“Missed this,” he mumbles and laps at your pussy up and down, his plump lips sucking harsh and his thick warm tongue poking at your entrance. All you can do is squirm and writhe in pleasure against the bed holding tight your velvet sheets whilst chanting his name like a holy mantra.
Hyunjin’s lips almost push you to your climax but he pulls back before anything could happen appearing right above you once more to give you another kiss but this time harsh and heated with the intend to satisfy his desire; a distraction as he works to push two of his long digits into you scissoring you open. You immediately gasp at the sudden move, back arching of the bed. Hyunjin whimpers into the kiss as his painfully hard covered dick makes contact with your exposed stomach. You reach out in between the two of you and free him from the restraints of his silky pajama, stroking him with your soft hands. This causes his fingers to suddenly poke harder inside you lightly pressing on your g spot.
“H-hyun, please, p-please,” you beg your hands no longer focusing on keeping steady strokes on his dick.
“I know angel, I know,” he answers back adding a third finger into you and speeding up the pace of his fingers. He is just as desperate to be inside you as you are to have him. After a couple of thrusts and a few seconds of sloppy kissing, Hyunjin pulls his fingers out and aligns himself with your hole placing his tip just at the entrance.
“Nggh-Jin-jinnie, hurry please,” you whine and push yourself forward trying to get his entire dick in you at once.
“Patience baby,” he says with a chuckle as he holds your hips in place and slowly starts gliding into you with a low groan. The stretch you feel from him is immaculate to say the least, you take him in fully as you hold on tightly to his forearms moaning and whimpering. Hyunjin was always caring and careful at times like this, and you appreciated that. But today was not the day for that, considering that the world had deprived you of his touch for a while, deprived you of the stretch of his dick that you never seemed to get enough of. So Hyunjin pausing to wait for you to adjust to him was simply not done, you moved forward harshly, the tip of Hyunjin’s dick hitting hard on that spongy spot inside you eliciting sound between whimper and a gasp out of him as he fell forward laying on your chest.
“Baby, y-you can’t do that,” you could hear the surprise in his voice, he clearly did not expect that.
“You’re too slow Hyunn,” you answer cockily with a smirk on your face. He doesn’t answer back but instead lifts himself up and starts moving painfully slow rubbing his dick on your walls as his hands move to knead both your breasts. “F-fuck,” you curse out gripping his back harshly. He knows exactly how you take him, slow and hard, none of that fast bullshit. He grins at your reaction slamming harder into you and kissing all over your chest.
The room was filled with your whimpers and moans, the wet sounds of his dick dragging along your slick walls, his low guttural grunts and the sound of his name coming out of your lips, sweet praises of “you’re doing well love,” and “Keep taking me so good baby,” fueling you and taking you closer to your climax. You feel yourself convulsing around him, legs trembling and arms too weak to hold onto anything. “Hy-Hyun….I’m gonna…..f-fuck,” you stop mid-sentence as he continuously slams harder into you. “Come on baby let go,” before you can administer what he’s commanding of you your walls release around him body shaking and mouth hanging open in a silent moan. It doesn’t take long for him to let go as well, filling you with his warm cum. He continues to fuck you both from your high the squelching sounds getting louder as he finally pulls out and collapses on top of you. Your hands rest on his head sweeping away the strands of hair stuck to his forehead. The room is silent for a while with nothing but your steady breathing sounds, both of you too comfortable to say a word and too comfortable to move away from each other.

“Just leave me around already!” you shouted out, stomping over to your shared room with Mina slamming the door.
Mina stood there, dumbstruck. Never had you ever used a tone like that with her, but these past few weeks you seemed to only be picking fights. Mina obviously was intensely worried, she couldn't help but wonder what she had done to get you so upset.
Your relationship with Mina was nearing perfect, well that was until your mind decided to start fucking with you. You knew it was wrong, Mina hadn't done anything to warrant such a reaction from you. You had just come home from work, and Mina, who had also just arrived at home, asked about your day. She could only assume that your boss had been extremely bitchy with you with how you reacted to the question.
When the door to your room slammed and you twisted the lock, you slid down to the floor, cradling your head in your hands. “fuck, fuck, FUCK!” you mumbled out, talking to yourself. You deeply regretted what you had said to her, you knew she was tired, she had also just come back from a full day of work. You hated that you potentially hurt her. But that's what she’d eventually do to you right? Someone like her could never truly like someone like you. How could such a perfect person love someone so imperfect?
You loved her, you did, with all that you were. But the lingering thought that she could leave you the moment she found another woman attractive never left. She could have anyone in the world, why would she want to stay with you? You were only lessening the blow for when it finally came, detaching yourself from her so when she left it wouldn't hurt. If this was really meant to lessen your hurt, then why was it that every time you saw her face fall at your mean words that your heart shattered a bit more in your chest. Treating Mina like this hurt you more than you thought imaginable.
These insecurities had never been present before, you were never one to be insecure nor jealous. Seeing Mina with Sana though, it reminded you of everything you were not. The way Sana’s hand slid up Mina’s arm, the way Mina would laugh it off, not removing the hand on her. You could feel it coursing through your veins, envy. You would never be able to compare to Sana, not her long straight beautiful hair, nor her cute smile. Hell, you thought that you’d choose her too had you been mina. Sana was everything you were not, everything you were not and more. She was everything you were and weren't.
Seeing mina return the flirtations had you overcome with sadness, why would she indulge in that with a girlfriend. You didn't know Sana, not at all. Maybe if you did, you would’ve known that Sana was like a sister to Mina, that she had grown up with Sana. That Sana was nothing more than a best friend that liked intimacy. But of course, you didn't know, you didn't know and so you did the only thing you knew to do. You withdrew, you started to distance yourself from Mina, often being rude and dismissive.
You could tell it hurt her, but she never said anything back. Not wanting to let her anger get the best of her and accidentally say something that might hurt you. How considerate she was, even while getting told to shut up. She loved you, and hurt was the last thing she’d want to see on your pretty face. She knew where the line was drawn and no matter how much you crossed it, she refused to.
letting out a sigh, Mina let herself fall back onto the couch behind her. she would talk to you later when you weren't as mad. she thought back to these last few weeks. how drastically your behavior had changed. Where you used to constantly be all over her, always touching her in some way. she now found that you’d barely ever lay a finger on her, often flinching when she initiated physical contact. this hurt her greatly, she just couldn’t seem to understand what brought on this change.
The longer she waited, the more overcome with exhaustion she became. Her schedule today had been packed, with interviews and more things of the sort. She hadn’t even eaten dinner, nor changed, having come home just a minute before you. sooner than later, she succumbed to the exhaustion, falling asleep on the couch.
You awoke the next morning, curled up on the bed you shared with Mina, puffy eyed. you checked the time on your phone, seeing that it was five am. One more hour ‘til your work starts. you looked around, noticing that the big bed was empty. A sigh fell from your mouth, sadness and self hatred overwhelming you once again. The reasonable side of your mind yelled at you to wake up and stop doing this. Sadly, the other part of your head was screaming louder at you. whispering that promises would be broken, she’d just leave you in the end.
You got out of bed and went to go take a shower and get ready. Upon leaving your room after getting ready, you found Mina curled up on the sofa very clearly shivering. You could hear the cracking of your heart from within. in that moment you didn’t care a bit for the voices screaming at you. You only cared for the girl who might catch a cold in her own house.
You picked her up bridal style and carried her over to the bed. You refused to be stopped by the fact that you weren’t strong enough to carry her and pushed through. With your will, came power, the strength to carry her smoothly suddenly entered your body. You carried her to your shared room with her and tucked her in bed. You turned on the small heater next to the bed and faced it towards her.
You left a soft kiss on her forehead and then left for work. Breakfast was overrated anyways.
Tumblr media
Unlike every other day, today you came home to the beautiful face of Mina painted with anger. you didn’t acknowledge the obvious anger on her face and just brushed past her to the kitchen. Before you could take a step in that direction you found yourself being aggressively pulled back. a yelp escaped your lips at how unexpected it was.
“Sit down.” Mina said, her voice tone serious and commanding. If you were anyone else you definitely would’ve. but you were you in the end.
“I’m hungry-“
“Don’t make me repeat myself.” Her voice held no room for arguments, and even you knew better than to argue.
Following her command, you sat. She sat down next to you on the couch and took your hand in hers staring deeply into your cold eyes. She couldn’t figure out what you were thinking, your eyes now cold, a stark contrast from how they used to be.
“Baby please, talk to me. I know something’s bothering you, please, just talk to me.” Mina softly begged, her thumb drawing circles on the back of your hand.
“i- uh-“ As soon as you felt your resolve dropping by the slightest, it all came back in a flash. Her flirting with Sana, everything. You pulled your hand away from Mina, so fast one might’ve thought it was a burn.
“I don't know what you’re talking about. You’re probably just imagining things.” You said standing up and attempting to walk away.
“y/n please, i know something’s up.” Mina once again pleaded, grabbing your hand, stopping you from leaving
“Nothings fucking up. You’re literally making shit up, and fucking let go of me. You’re so fucking annoying.” You said once again ripping your hand away from Mina's grip.
This time Mina didn’t allow it, gripping your hand tighter in response to you trying to pull your hand away. She pulled you back onto the couch and this time she stood up.
“Just tell me what's wrong, and stop giving me so much attitude! You’re not my teenage fucking daughter that im just gonna put up with this!” Mina yelled, angry at the words you were spitting at her.
“I- i think we should break up.” you stuttered out, in hesitance averting your gaze from Mina’s.
“No.” she said flatly
“W-what?” you questioned, the possibility of this response never crossed your mind. Your gaze shifted back to Mina, trying to gauge her feelings, you couldn't though. You couldn't figure out what was going on behind those dark eyes of hers. You felt the the tables had just been flipped, you were now in her shoes. On the receiving end of her anger.
“There won't be a breakup until you explain why.” Mina said in the most monotone voice you’d ever heard from her.
“I just- i dont l-love you anymore.”
“Stop lying, you aren't fooling anyone with that.” Mina said, a laugh accompanying her words, you could practically feel the condescension dripping off her words.
You could feel the suffocating feeling in your throat creeping in, why couldn't she just understand and leave you alone. “I dont- i dont love you anymore. Just let me fucking leave!” you yelled out the end, frustration overtaking you.
You could feel the tears forming, the familiar feeling of butterflies in your stomach. Not the good kind of butterflies though, the ones that came along with a feeling of dread, the ones that you hated.
“Stop fucking lying and just spit it out! What is going on with you?!” Mina shouted at you. You felt incredibly small at her shouts, sure you had done the same, but you had always been overly sensitive. You could feel the water leaking out of your eyes before you knew it.
Mina was being so mean to you, she had never raised her voice at you before. You had taken her kindness for granted and now you were faced with the opposite of it. “J-just l-leave me alone.” you hiccuped out, covering your face in embarrassment.
Why did you have to cry now of all times? You cursed your body for giving this kind of reaction to her shouting.
“Baby, please. Just talk to me.” Mina said, much softer this time, wrapping her arms around you.
You found yourself instinctively cuddling into her embrace, shaking in her arms. “Why should I even stay with you if you're just gonna leave me in the end?” you mumbled into her chest.
Mina’s eyes widened at this, she held your shoulders and pulled you away to look you in your eyes. “Why would you even think that?” Mina questioned, clearly taken aback by your assumption. Had she done anything to make you feel that way?
“You're just gonna leave me for a prettier girl like Sana when you get tired of me.” You mumbled, pushing yourself back into her chest, embarrassed for talking about your emotions.
“Babe, Sana’s like my little sister. And why would I leave someone as pretty as you. I don't think anyone could even come close to you in terms of beauty.” Mina said, holding you tight and kissing your head.
“I don't know, I just saw you with Sana and just I don't know, it made me realize that you're way out of my league and you could just- leave me anytime.”
“But I don't wanna leave you for anyone. I love you not anyone else.” Mina softly whispered into your ear.
“I'm sorry,” you whimpered out, pulling your head out of her chest to look in her eyes as you pouted. “I’ve been such a bitch to you. I don't know how you put up with me.”
“I’d rather fight with you all night than spend a peaceful night with someone else.” Mina whispered out before softly connecting your lips with hers.
You could only be left in awe at the fact that it was always you she chose.

O really ?
"F-fuck, wait." I stutter out, trying to rub away from the overwhelming pleasure. I am sitting on the couch of the 1 million room, trying to cover my screams. "It's t-to much p-please. I'm sorry I'll be good." I try to get out though the words seem to be nothing but mumbling in a room full of moans. "You move again. I'll gonna make sure I spank that ass raw. Now, be quiet unless you want everyone hear to know how much of a slut you are for me." "I stare down at her sitting there in between my legs with the bottom half of her mouth soaked with my juices. I didn't even know I could get this wet. At this point, I'm willing to do anything to please her. "For y-you all for you." She smirks, coming up for a second with her finger still working on my insides, "yea, only for me, glad you finally remembered baby." I sit there in a daze trying to remember how I got here.
If you were wondering how I ended up in this position, we would have to backtrack a bit. Going back to when we were being called down to the fight zone. I was so excited holding hands with Kristen. We had both been a part of the royal family for a while, and when we heard about this opportunity, we were ecstatic. It was a Korean dance TV program, though, so I can say that unlike the rest of my team, I generally didn't expect us to win, well, the show that is. Though that didn't mean we would go easy and let people make a mockery of us. Never know what the future holds. This would be an experience.
I had learned that a certain someone would be here. By that, I entirely mean my wife Lia Kim. We had just recently got engaged 2 months ago, and even though we weren't officially married yet, Lia always referred to me as her wife. When she told me she was invited to bring her crew to SWF2, I questioned it as first, I mean, my girl had the qualifications to be a judge, but just my opinion. Though, I didn't tell her about Jam Republic being on the team, and she wouldn't know until we got there. I had a feeling she would be surprised and slightly angry at the same time.
We walked down the stairs amazed by the architecture of this place. "This is it girls we are here, so chin up and let the confidence run through you. We shall not be caught lacking." I told them, as I smiled and saw Kristen make a gesture for us to keep walking. We finally made it down, stepping into the center of the fight zone. Allowing everyone to get a good look at us. Making their little side remarks and comments. Until we heard the screen come on giving us our team evaluation. We stood there listening to all the absolute bullshit they were saying, I was already pissied with them called Kristen, a backup for Paris and Audrey, just a pretty face. What made me even more pissed was that my fiance said it with that irritating smirk on her face that I usually would love. Not this time. I then heard the comments about me.
Biggy - Didn't Amara create the choreography for Rihanna superbowl?
Halo - If there is anyone I have respect for, Amara, she started out in underground street battles. She managed to even become better than her teacher.
Lusher- It feels like she has lived multiple lives you know, like she has done so much for her age.
Redlic- She is nicknamed Hybe's princess with her being the main choreographer for them. She has created majority of there dances, I wanna see if it's true.
I smirk hearing that comment.
Lia- Jam Republic will be the first to go home, I don't see anything special.
Mina- She has amazing skills and good energy, and it looks like she is special. I'll give you that.
And just like that found my target, one thing about my wife is her ego is fucking huge. She will do anything and everything to prove she is the best. You see, I knew about her issue, and will Mina. So why not play into that? Besides, she literally said Jam Republic will be the first to go home. So payback is about to be a bitch. We sat, and the entire time, I could feel someone's eyes locked on me. I knew exactly who it was, so I leaned closer to Kristen, grabbing her arm and having us basically be hugging at this point. At first, Kristen looked at me a little confused. Now she is a touchy person and didn't mind, but she was trying to figure out why suddenly. Until she looked over and saw Lia glaring at us. Then she smiled, turning to look at me before whispering in my ear, "it seems your girl is quite possessive, huh?" I just smile laughing and nodding.
Now, to any other person, that reaction wasn't weird or considered flirting, but to Lia, it meant war. Eventually, we are told about the no-respect battles. "This will be sp fun." I tell my team while Ling sat there telling us how she is so down to battle. We all go in our respective rooms to change. While I'm on the way to the room, I could see Lia gesturing for us to talk, but I paid no mind. This is a competition, and I'm mad at her right now. We walk in and immediately start changing. I go put on my grey little tank with no bra and some baggy jeans with my thong slightly showing. Might as well leave in impression, Korean strict ass dress code and overall high ass morals be dammed.
We all make it back to the fight zone, and the battles start rolling in. I am simply sporting two stickers, waiting for my name to be called. Crazy how Kristen is a much better battler than me, yet no one thought of that because they were too busy calling her Paris number 2. Well, they will see. Every since I got down here, Lia couldn't take her eyes off me, though it seems neither could Mina. Well, this will be fun. After a while of battles, Kristen is called up with her picking Waackxxxy. I move to the sideline to get a better view of the battle and hype her up. Doing a little more than necessary to pisd off you know who. Then, when Kristen takes the win, I run up and hug her. Finally, I'm glad everyone can see her in her element.
More battles continue until I'm called by Mina. Of course, why didn't I gather she was gonna call me? That makes sense. I walk to the center, hearing Daniel ask for any words before the battle. "I just wanna share the stage with this beautiful woman." Mina states while winking at me, causing the crowd to go wild. I stare at her, giving the doe eye effect before stating, "Then I will make it worth your while." At this point, everyone is tuning into this battle. Mina starts off using a big of hip pop moves, making sure to let everyone be aware of her presence. She even got close to me multiple times, grabbing my grin. When it's my turn to battle, I hear nicki minaj blasting through the speakers. I start off my routine locking and then move into some hip-hop while hitting a split. Then, I get close to her body rolling a twerking until the battle is over, the judges vote in favor of me.
I move over to hug Mina, thanking her for battling me. She holds me close before thanking me as well. I move to put the win on our board and make my way over to Deepndapp, putting the loss sticker on there's. Not before Mina taps my butt on the way over. After I make it back to my team, they are congratulating me, with Kristen placing me on her lap and kissing my cheeks. After a while, more battles continued with me being called us to battle redlic, which was more so not a battle with the amount of hair flipping she did. I literally counted each flip. She made it to 11 before she ended her battle. We eventually make it to a break, with production calling for a commercial telling us to go gather our thoughts and prepare for the next segment. We ordered some food, more so me, because I'm the only one who can speak Korean. As I'm making my way outside to get the food I spot Lia, looking angry as shit. Starting to realize that I kinda went a bit overboard and now I'm low-key scared as fuck.
I grab the food practically trying to run into the Jam Republic room. Latrice opens the door, taking the food from me. Until she sees Lia, "you realize you can't avoid her forever, especially when you were wrong as fuck." I look at her before she tells me to go apologize. I hear Lia yelling, "Amara, get you ass over here." I try to make another run for it until she catches up with me. "Your ass is getting punished. Let's go." I try to apologize to her, hoping that would work, I know I'm far past acceptance. She gives me a look before pulling me in the towards 1 million rooms. Telling everyone to leave immediately and go to Jam Republic's room, they see the look on her face, some to scared to question their leader and others already knowing I'm in for it, and then they all file out. She pushes me on the couch and starts pacing around the room. "Don't fucking speak to me, I can't believe you. Completely walking around whoring yourself out. Knowing everyone in that room wants to be in my position but can't. Its OK, just gonna have to remind you how makes you feel like your in heaven, the only person that can make you cum. Let's get to work then, shall we?"
Well, that's how I ended up in this position. Legs are being held open pressed against my stomach, feeling extremely vulnerable in this position. Just how she likes it. I've lost count of how many times I've come. This break seems like it's been forever. My legs have cramped up so badly. "B-baby please I can't cum anymore." I try to beg her hoping she will have mercy on me. She claimed she accepted my apology after I came for the 3rd time in a row. But she just keeps going. "Yes, you can, my pretty flower. I know you can. Just one more." She says while placing 3 fingers back inside me all at once, the stretch feeling the like the first time. I start to cry and thrash around, causing her to grab my face soothing me. "Just one more time. I promise, ok? Do it for me. Make me proud."
With rhat I try my very best. Do lost in pleasing her. All I want to do is make her proud. And she knows this. She has broken me down, orgasm by orgasm to the point that all I can think about is her. She starts to move her fingers faster, moving her head back down in its previous position to suck on my abused clit. I scream out loud. "F-fuck, yes... please... right there." She hits that sweet spot inside of me again, smirking. "Right there, huh? I know baby just cum for me." My thighs clench tight around her head screaming out her name completely forgetting where we are. Though, I'm too fucked out to care. All I see is white, my limbs going slack on the couch. She stares up at me, her chin dripping with her shirt as well. I look confused until she says, "You squirted baby." She seems so happy and proud of herself. All I can do is throw my arms out, grabbing her. "My precious little flower, all mine." I hear her say will looking at me lovely. "All yours, only yours."And don't you ever forget it."

No Secret
Sero Hanta x reader
Summary: casually dropping the bomb about your crush onto your classmates, bestfriend & said crush himself
(she/her) reader
A/n: another bestfriend to lovers! is anyone surprised at this point ʕ •̀ ω •́ ʔ
🌟
You were doing your homework in the common room, Sero sitting on the couch behind you, practicing new braids he learnt from his sister on your hair. Some of your classmates were lingering around too, mostly the girls that gossiping & squealing as you half listen in on their discussion.
"Hey, hey, y/n. What about you? Do you have a crush on our classmates?" Hagakure turned the spotlight to you.
"Hm~ yeah," you replied distractedly. Substitute x with 3.. bring 4 to the left..
"What really?!" The excited high pitched squeal from your pink skinned friend made you flinch.
"It must be Sero, right? Those two are practically dating!"
You felt the hands of the guy in question in your hair freeze at that. "Guys, I'm right here-"
"Ehh~ but isn't that because they're bestfriends though?"
"She must have a crush on todoroki too right? Like the rest of the female population~"
"Pft. What if she's one of those that fancies Bakugou's pretty face though? Did you know I just heard some of the first & second year girls & guys fangirl him during training!"
"Whaat- y/n doesn't look like a Bakugou simp though-"
"Its Sero."
The room falls dead silent.
"..what?"
"Its Sero. I have a crush on Sero," you said casually, not even lifting your gaze from your notebook, before trailing off, eyebrows pinched as you continued scribbling formulas onto the paper. Wait no.. 5x would be 15.. minus 32, carry to the other side..
You thought nothing of it until the feeling of every pair of eyes in the room on you made you squirm & finally look up from your work.
"What? Its not like a secret or anything?" You asked, confused at how genuinely shocked your classmates are at the news.
Another beat of silence.
"WHAT"
"WAIT REALLY-"
"Did you know about this??" Mina blurt out, eyes narrowed at Sero accusingly.
"Wh- no!" Sero all but sputters, unable to stop the heat from creeping up his neck.
"Really?" You quipped, looking away from your work again infavour of looking back at him. "I've been flirting my ass off to you, Hanta. Thats kinda rude," you teased half-heartedly before going back to your homework. One last question.
Again. Stunned silence.
You ignored it though, determined on getting your assignments done so you can get back to raising sheepies on your virtual farm.
"Well, I can't say she was subtle about it," Mina huffed out, seemingly annoyed she didn't get to play matchmaker it seems.
That is true though. You were not at all shy of showing your affection to your bestfriend. And Sero never reciprocated any less either. The two of you had grown so comfortable with casual physical affection you were practically glued together by the hip 24/7.
Leaning on each other as if the weight of your own bodies were too heavy to be supported on your own, especially after long days of training.
Burrowing your way under his arm & into his side to butt into a conversation you were late on, arms draped loosely around his ridiculously slender waist, before you'd attack him until he fell over cackling with tickles every time because he fell for it every time.
Having his arms wrapped snugly under your ribs with his chin resting on your head as you played away on your phone while you two waited in line for your weekly overpriced coffee dates.
Physical affection aside, you were each other's first choice.
For everything.
You paired up during training, having compatible quirks that allowed you to come up with combo moves that further motivate you to team up in the future.
Sero would be the first person you'd run to, text or call at any good news you receive to celebrate with, knowing he shared your happiness as it were his own & you his.
He was also the person you'd turn to on bad days you didn't feel like human interaction, coming over to his room unannounced, flopping beside him on his bed before promptly falling asleep because you felt safe by his side.
He was your bestfriend. Your home & safeplace.
Of course you loved him.
Regardless of romantic interest, before anything, he was your person. Your bestfriend.
It honestly shouldn't be surprising to anyone that you'd developed feelings for him.
"But thats such a good technique though! Be so obvious about it, to the point that its questionable," Uraraka chimed in thoughtfully. The conversation carried on, the heat slowly getting off of you, & the gentle hands in your hair resumed their work. You tuned out the chatter in favour of focusing on your last question.
Letting out a breath of relief, you leaned back between Sero's legs when you finally finish the last of your assigment. Stretching your limbs, you realized the little crowd had mostly dispersed, leaving Uraraka & Tsuyu to their own conversation on the couch at the far end.
"You done?" Sero finally spoke up since you dropped that interesting little tidbit of yours.
"Mhm," you hummed, craning your neck upwards to meet Sero's face. "Pft you're still blushing- BWAH-" you squealed out when Sero caught your face between his long fingers, lightly pinching your cheeks.
"What's with that very casual & very public confession of yours, hm?"
"It washn't a shecwet!"
"Well, I didn't know!"
"Das caushe youwe dum- wAH! AHAHA-" another tug on your cheeks had you squeaking out again before you burst out laughing when those damned fingers ran up your sides, toppling you over into his hold. Sero barely held on to his faux annoyance for a measly few seconds before he was snickering along with you.
"And when exactly were you going to tell me? I doubt you planned to break the news in front of our friends like that."
"Nah. I don't know," you smiled up at him doppily, removing his hands from your face. "Had no plans but the opportunity was just there. Had to take it. Plus, you can't be too mean if you were going to reject me."
"You thought that there's a possibility I'd reject you? And to be mean at that? Who's the dumb one now, hm?"
"Still you. AND TAKE YOUR HANDS AWAY FROM MY SIDES. TRY TICKLING ME AGAIN & I WILL FIGHT YOU, BITCH."
Sero feigned an offended sound.
"Calling me dumb and a bitch? You're lucky your little crush is mutual."
You stopped your squirming in favour of twisting wround to face your bestfriend & to look at him. Really look. Your eyes traced over before you broke out beaming at him.
"Really?" You asked quietly, smiling so wide with eyes shining so hopefully Sero would've hated himself if he answered any other way. You watched his face soften with adoration as he huffed out a little laugh.
"Yeah."
You couldn't help the stupid, dopey grin that tugged on your lips at that. "Good," you grinned up at the dumb bitch you loved so much. "No take backs."
🌟
A/n: i love the trope where their adoration for each other is so BLATANTLY obvious and they don't give a SHIT. like none of those awkwardness or denial when people tease- just straight up 'yea. its cuz i love him' and 'i love her. as simple as that.' EXCEPT IT STILL DRIVES PEOPLE INSANE BECAUSE NO ONE KNOWS WHAT KIND OF LOVE THEY MEANT and these two just lowkey act dumb while their friends lose their mind. this is becoming a drabble lmao 😂 i'll shut up now.

What a sight it was. Five teenagers crammed into a little booth at the back of the cafe. Kaminari called the corner spot, followed by Kirishima, and Mina. Sitting across from them is Bakugou and his new girlfriend, Fumi.
The slight tension between everyone was so palpable that the waitress hurriedly placed down all their drinks and scurried back to the kitchen. Kaminari was sipping from his drink in order to avoid speaking to anyone.
“Fumi, this is Mina, Kirishima, and Kaminari. Everyone, this is Fumi.” Bakugou introduced everyone, his face may seem uninterested but on the inside he was kind of nervous. Anyone would be if they were trying to get their close friends to like their new partner.
“It’s nice to finally meet everyone! Bakugou talks about you guys all the time-”
“No I don’t. They don’t need to know that.” Bakugou grumbled. Fumi let out a little chuckle.
“Awww, you talk about us? So you do have a sweet spot for us.” Mina cooed, leaning into her words to giggle at Bakugou’s red cheeks. Kaminari didn’t miss the flicker of something in Fumi’s eyes at Mina. This entire time he has been eyeing the couple. Sure, he was rooting for Bakugou to get together with you but he was going to be open to meeting Fumi in person. And then Bakugou was being mean to him so he decided against it.
“He does, and he talks about (Y/n) a lot too. Are they going to be joining us?” Fumi asked, looking around the cafe for any sign of someone else joining them.
“No. They’re not.” Katsuki immediately replied when he saw everyone’s eyebrows raise. Fumi noticed how everyone sat up in their seats when she said that and it made her even more curious as to who this “(Y/n)” was.
“And it’s not me talking, it’s me complaining about them. They haven’t been replying to any of my texts. I need to know when to pick up my gear and they’re not giving me anything!” Bakugou grumbled, and as if on cue, his phone pinged with a new message. The light up screen caught everyone’s attention and he could not have grabbed his phone faster to check who it was.
“It’s just my mom.” he rolled his eyes before placing the phone back down.
Denki’s eyes flashed back to Fumi’s just to scan her reaction. Her eyebrows were furrowed as she watched him sigh in disappointment. He could hear her let out a low huff through her nose before pulling her lips into a smile when she looked back at the three of them across from her.
“So...Tell us about yourself. How did you and Bakugou meet?” Kirishima asked, wanting to make the best of the situation.
“Well, I’m a year younger than you guys. And it’s a funny story about how I met Bakugou. I actually noticed him during the sports festival two years ago when he won. His powerful quirk really amazed me and I just knew I had to meet him.” she looked over to Bakugou with a grin. He rolled his eyes, trying to hide the blush on his face at being complimented.
“I like to think it was fate that we met at the festival last week.” she shuffled closer to Bakugou.
“Oh, how sweet. Can we ask what your quirk is?” Mina smiled, watching them interlace their hands on the table.
“Mine isn’t as powerful as his but I like to think it’s pretty cool. I can shoot and control spikes from my knuckles. There is a range limit to it though so I’m better at close range battles.” she explained, showing one of the spikes from her knuckles.
“It’s not the worst quirk in the world. If you keep training, you’ll get better at it.” Bakugou looked over at her as he gave his support. The waitress returned to the table with all their lunches for the day and they all couldn’t wait to dig in.
During their meals, everyone went back and forth telling Fumi about themselves. She listened with a smile on her face, nodding along. But they could see there was no interest behind her eyes.
Bakugou’s phone pinged again and the first person to look over was Bakugou. Followed by Fumi.
“Who was that? Was it (Y/n)?”
“It’s just my mom again.” Bakugou clicked his tongue and put the phone down once again.
“You know what, let me see if I can reach (Y/n). I know they’re really busy lately. What do you need, like, just to know when to pick up your gear?” Denki piped up for the first time in a while as he pulled out his phone. Bakugou’s head turned to him with a small glare which Denki received and returned.
“Yeah. And tell them to reply to my texts.” he grumbled as Denki started typing on the screen.
“If (Y/n)’s busy then I doubt they’ll have the time to reply-” Kirishima’s sentence got cut off with a ding from Kaminari’s phone.
“(Y/n) says you can come grab your gear by the end of today or sometime in the next two weeks because of the break.” Denki smirked as he read the message out loud, taking note of Bakugou’s clenched fist at the fact that you replied so quickly to Denki and not him.
“Oh! If Katsu can pick it up today then I can do it. I’ve been dying to see this (Y/n). Clearly you’re all really close to them?” Fumi suggested with a smile over to Bakugou.
“There is nothing to know about them. (Y/n)’s just someone I’m assigned to for gear maintenance. They’re weak and quirkless, and had an annoying little crush on me ever since we were little. But we’re becoming friends now or whatever.” Bakugou rolled his eyes and turned back to Kaminari, “Tell them we’re coming at the end of the day.” he said.
“They have a crush on you?” Fumi asked with her eyebrow raised. Bakugou waved it off.
“Yeah, but don’t worry about it. I could never be interested in them.” he said.
And the conversation about you derailed after that, Denki deciding to remain quiet for the rest of lunch while everyone else tried to keep a conversation, but Fumi only had her attention directed at Bakugou. She was leaning on him and scooting closer every since he slightly leaned away. Even though she was getting in his personal space, Bakugou decided not to comment about it.
When it was time to leave, the waitress came back with the checks for everyone, but Fumi quickly grabbed all of them before they could look at their amount due.
“Oh no no! Please, Katsu will take care of it since we were the ones who invited you guys out.” she said before placing all the receipts in front of him. The three sitting in front of them looked at each other before back at Bakugou who only smiled before pulling out his wallet.
When they all left the cafe, Bakugou said that he and Fumi were going to spend the rest of the day out and asked if they wanted to join, but Mina looked at her watch and shook her head.
“I actually gotta hurry back to campus. My ride’s here to pick me up and drive me back home. But! It was really nice meeting you, Fumi. Have a wonderful holiday to you both! I’ll see you guys in a few weeks!” She went in to hug Kaminari and Kirishima before turning to Bakugou. He held out his arms and she went in for a hug as well. It was short lived because Fumi quickly went to grab his hand to intertwine hers with, making the two let go.
Mina didn’t miss the slight glares that were directed at her but decided to drop it for Bakugou’s sake. She said goodbye for the last time before rushing off.
Kaminari and Kirishima made their excuses to go back to campus as well, wanting to avoid the awkward silences that would have followed.
So, Bakugou and Fumi went about the rest of their day. Bakugou was a little more upbeat than usual at the thought of finally talking to you after a week of no responses. Fumi was also excited to be meeting the person who had been taking Bakugou’s attention away from her all week.

That noise in the background of the start of the entry. At first it almost sounded like Mina was outside, then it built and started getting super ominous, it was great.
The way she says "such an adventure" sounds like she's just barely holding herself back, trying so so hard to control her voice and sound somewhat calm when she is anything but
"I fell asleep as soon as I had closed my diary.... Suddenly I became broad awake, and sat up, with a horrible sense of fear upon me, and of some feeling of emptiness around me." Psychic Mina moment?
LOVE the match noise. It feels so small and intimate, makes me envision the flickering little light and Mina's distress all the more.
"I feared to wake her mother, who has been more than usually ill lately" - Mrs. Westenra has a 'usual' amount of illness. I'm guessing that refers more to nerves and anxiety than her actually being typically chronically ill, just based on how others have talked about her in the past, but we don't really know. I imagine Lucy as well as Mina has picked up on her currently worse health though.
Mina's cleverness in looking for the clothes Lucy has taken! The way she said "Thank god" with such brief relief but still so tense despite those words.
"a vague, overmastering fear obscured all details. I took a big, heavy shawl" - her voice starting to shake here. I can't handle this.
THE CLOCK. FOOTSTEPS. THE WAVES. THE MUSIC AS SHE TALKS ABOUT THE MOON. I absolutely adore all the sound design going on here, I feel like I'm right there with her and it's so rough.
Her voice going weak on "on our favourite seat". The tolling music as she describes the figure of Lucy... The breathlessness as she describes something bending over her, as she talks about running across town.
"poor Lucy's condition" I WANNA CRY
She's trying so hard to keep it together, the way she says "I must have gone fast" somehow is breaking me to bits. This part reminds me of Jonathan describing his final trip down to the crypt, how he just kind of rushes through the entire description of the journey
the ring of music at "I could see the seat and the white figure"
she says "There was undoubtedly something" almost like she's convincing herself, insisting now after everything is over that she did see it, that there truly was something there. And the way she lingers over each word of "long and black, bending" - this arresting horrified fascination almost
THE WAY SHE CALLS LUCY'S NAME. God, she sounds so young in that first one especially, so young and afraid and she doesn't know what to do. And the little hitched breath before she calls to her again-!
I listened to that specific part like five times before I could move on. God.
"red, gleaming eyes" with such horror. And that slight lingering again which almost reminds me of the way Jonathan would describe the vampires' lips...
Lucy's slow breathing as Mina comes up to her. Shallow and long and labored, it's SO INTENSE and SO SCARY. The slight vocalization as she shudders, LUCY HONEY YOU DON'T DESERVE THIS
The pained gasp as she wakes, too! God, Lucy's continuing distress as Mina tries to wake her and it doesn't work initially makes me feel so sad for her. It's almost as though she was paralyzed before, scared and in pain and unable to escape it, and the power immobilizing her faded before the pain and fear did.
"Lucy always wakes prettily," Mina loves her so much. So, so, so much. It feels like she is trying to comfort herself with this detail, that at least Lucy is still pretty and graceful, almost a reassurance that she can't have been too affected or harmed by this experience (please, please)
The gravel noises!
Mina's heartbeat sounds!!!!
Everything about the passage where Mina is talking about the reasons not to tell anyone about this is so heavy. But most of all, most of all, that "I hope I did right." She doesn't know! How could she know! She is so young as well and is dealing with so much and is so afraid that Lucy's future might be be destroyed but she can't seek advice or comfort from anyone because that would mean opening her up to potential scandal, and there is no one else here reliable enough in any case. The only one who can know is Lucy, who Mina wants to be strong for, and thus can't accept reassurance from. It's so isolating.
I think it's why she tries so hard to be optimistic in her following entries throughout the day. She wants to believe she did right. She's trying really hard to believe it was a single bad moment that they can leave in the past, that Lucy will be okay now. She even looks healthier than before! How great! (Mina pricked her, she hurt her when she tried to save her, maybe she isn't making the right choices, maybe she isn't handling this in the best way - no. No, it isn't hurting her. It won't scar. It will be fine.)
The day was happy! Mina is only a little sad! The only thing worrying her is Jonathan, but - but no, it will be fine (he is fine). She just has to be patient (and then she'll see him again and he'll be alive and all right and she won't have to handle things alone anymore-) and she is completely happy right now otherwise, the music was good, the day was great. And Lucy seems like she'll sleep well, and Mina will make extra sure to have the door locked and the key in her possession, and it will all be just fine. She expects no trouble at all. She's got this under control. She does.
(because there's no one else, after all)

Heat of the Island Chapter 3
chapter one+ chapter two
Summary: Izuku calls out for him repeatedly. All of them, really. No one looks back other than the subtle glances from Kirishima. Even though they are willing to let you die, you call for them too. For their common sense and patience, and life.
an: I may come back to this idk yet. It's almost over tho!
Shouto and you are out of the plane only to see everyone standing in front of you. They’re soaking wet and are in the sheer blue light. It covers the area so much that you could swear the vibrant blue sky touched it.  Except for you. Even Shouto has a faint tint of the menacing and frequently occurring blue shade on him. When he makes eye contact with you, you quickly look away. You don't know why since he has never made you nervous or anything. Even when he was in his icy emo phase.
Excitedly, you call out to the group. “You guys, the monitors are working! The radio work-”
“We know, L/n. We always knew. It was too convenient that nothing was working despite the plane looking fine.” Kirishima crosses his large arms. “Convenient?”
“Don’t act dumber than you are, Quirkless.” Bakugou huffs. Never has he made fun of you for that. In his first year, he grew to get over his prejudice. “Stop it Kaachan.” Midoriya moves in front of you along with Shouto. They take a protective stance, one that you didn't expect since you've been here. Mina rolls her eyes.
“If you two don’t move as God as my witness, you’ll get the beat down of a lifetime.”
Much to your surprise, Koda moves in front of you too. With a surprisingly loud voice, he yells, “I’ve been trying to tell you that Denki witnessed everything not working! You won’t listen!”
Are they serious right now? Do these people who you’ve known for years really think that you were in control of this? How dare they. How could they believe that you would trap people here! How in the hell did they come up with the audacity to think that you want to be trapped with them?
Bakugou throws his hands in the air then tugs on his hair roughly. “How are you not mad?! All of this is suspicious! We crashed because of her. Her stories don’t add up. How are you not see her villainy?”
“(Y/n) is not a liar or a villain. You know this. If anyone is, it’s you.” Shouto stands firm in defending you. Kirishima scoffs. “Ha! Midoriya told us about the whole ‘blue light’ thing. And how she won’t accept that it’s the heat. That it is clearly in her head.”
“Because Midoriya and I are the only ones that see it!” You peek over Shouto’s shoulder. You notice the way Bakugou looks at Shouto. He's like a deer in headlights as Shouto slices through his ego, his pride. Bakugou went through so much with the League. He never thought of the villain's brother to say anything since Shouto carried so much guilt. They've been friends for so long that even you weren't expecting it. A part of you sympathizes with Bakugou. But it goes out the window the longer you look at him.
“He can barely see it! It’s the heat, (L/n). The fact that you keep telling him these lies is making him anxious-all of us anxious! You’re doing this on purpose.” Ashido stomps her foot.
“How?!” You are so tired of this. As you begin to get to your wits end, you notice Shouto’s heavy breathing. He tenses up, eyes as cold as before.
Bakugou slowly walks towards you. “Funny how you knew where the water was, that the monitor magically started working at the time you killed Ochako-”
“Bakugou, enough! You fucking know she didn’t do that!” Shouto takes steps towards the blond. Bakugou scoffs. “Hell, she probably jinxed the storm! And for all we know you helped.”
“Wouldn’t surprise me.” Pipes Asui. Where is all of this coming from? These accusations are extremely delusional. He just said it: you’re quirkless. How is it that you can do all of these things that would honestly need a quirk. They’re changing and not for the better. It is a matter of time before they turn on each other once you die. There would no longer be a common enemy. Except for maybe Shouto? The comment of how he must've 'helped' is showing the terrible colors they wear.
Shouto begins to get angry. You can tell without even being the reason for his anger. “If you people do not shut the fuck up .”
He’s always had a foul mouth. Anyone who knows him knows that he’s rude and gets away with it by acting clueless. But he isn’t one to just push it out like this. That is more of Bakugou’s speed.
“Hm, you aren’t one to talk, Todoroki. You’re too close to her. Too infatuated. Too bitter. A spitting image of Dabi. ”
“Tsu...” She quickly corrects you about using her last name. Midoriya reaches his hand out to you from behind. It clasps around yours. His thick fingers rub your palm. “Enough, everyone. The heat, the island, is obviously messing with everyone. The plane is almost done so it won’t be for much longer. Just be patient.”
“Ha, we’re not waiting for her.” The blond walks to the left and points to a simple boat that will not hold every single person. In fact, it looks like you’d be left behind. It would not be surprising if the those who stand for you right now would turn their back for a chance to get on. “That is going to get us somewhere. Waiting for her will take even more time.”
Leaning in, he snarls, “We ain’t waiting for that lying, vicious, killing, thing like you .”   He looks up at Shouto. "And you."
And to think the two of you used to be close. You were the first one to give Bakugou a smore that you made of the stove top. He was weary of it saying that ‘it looks too sweet’ but once he had one, he always came to you for it. He was the one to encourage you in the roughest ways and the one who always came to you for weather reports. At the most random times he’d call for an ‘accurate report because he doesn’t trust these fleabags.’ Meaning news reporters and Hawks. Still, he'd never bad mouth Shouto's tragic story. Why start now?
You want to cry again. Do you even have any more tears?
Even if it was for Momo? One of the sweetest people. She loved visiting the support course and only trusted you with her costume. It took a couple of alterations, but by her third year you managed to make a costume she could use that was a little more modest. Momo mainly uses it in the winter since she no longer worries about how she looks. Momo...so uplifting, so kind and gentle. How many cups of tea has she given you? Will you ever have them anymore? No, you don't want to.
Ashido, your laugh buddy and giddiest friend. Asui, the one who taught you how to do the basic swim moves. The first one to help you in case you needed saving at a pool. Hell, she would stay by your side the entire time. And Ochako, your cherub face friend who has left too soon.   You stop before you can continue going through the list of friends you have lost in just a span of a few days. There is no need to dwell on it; not when there is a chance of survival that they will take from you. The love you had, and you got from them is gone. You've decided. There are no more tears to shed. You've done enough for a lifetime.
The rain stops in the middle of the argument. The clouds are still grey and the air atrociously thick with conflict. What could have been a peaceful island has turned into nothing but a nightmare. Cool, crystal clear, water. White sand that is warm and toasty. The luscious trees and greens that inhabit the island in the most beautiful way stand so tall and broad. Every pretty detail is deceptive. Your past friends fit right in with the island’s lies.
This whole thing was a mistake. You should have taken a different plane. You never should have answered their phone call for the favor.
“Give us the brat.”
You gasp at the demand. What could they want with you?
“No, Kaachan.” You’re about to die right now. Bakugou glares at you and ignores his childhood friend.
Kirishima throws his hands in the air. “It’s all her fault! Why are you defending her?” You push your way through the two huge bodies in front of you. “I made mistakes, we all know that. Just how is it all my fault?”
He stares at you as if you’ve grown two heads. He moves his soaked red bangs out of his face. “You crashed the plane, won’t fix it or the radio-”
“The radio worked. We heard Shouta on it. So, that point is ruled out! And, how come Momo won’t make one? Why pin this whole thing on me?” What’s happening to you? Snap out of it!
“She can’t, L/n!”
You scoff and kick the sand that circles around your feet. “Says who? You? Her? I don’t know guys, I'm suspicious.” You throw their words and tone back in their face. Kirishima's face becomes as red as his hair. He looks like a bull. With venom, he says, "More useless than I am, and yet you act all high and mighty."
He starts to growl and come towards you. Sick of being the weak one, you pick up some of the sand and throw it at him. “I’m so done with you people! Nagging, blaming, whining, with absolutely no input on how to actually get off the island. No! What you care about is-is-breaking us up! What the hell is wrong with you?!”
Bakugou wipes his face of sweat. “ You are. You crashed us down and killed Jay. We’re stuck on an island with a villain,” He huffs and smirks at you with the most wicked gleam. “Just wait, Y/n L/n. Wait until we get off of here and fry your ass.”
You gasp, wondering what he’s talking about and yet knowing full well what it means. “I am not a villain nor did I kill my friend, Jay. I don’t know how, or why, he died. I don’t know. I pray for his soul more than you will ever know,”
You take bold steps towards the man. “You can never tell me that you care what happened to him. Bakugou, you would always call him a nuisance and wouldn’t like when he came with me to events. I remember that. I'm not blaming you, any of you, for his death. No, never. But I’ll tell you this once and once only,”
Finally up to him, looking up at the man who has fought wars and demons, taken on every challenge and holding his fist in victory, the man with a scar on his face from his fight with Tomura, when he had died at the age of sixteen for the people without hesitation. He had achieved your respect. Now, he has lost it, a precious, fragile, and rare thing.
“Leave Jay’s name out of your fucking mouth, Katsuki Bakugou.” You place your hand on his chest, feeling his beating heart. You back away from him slowly, not turning your back to them. When you reach to the people that believe you, that have obtained some form of their natural selves, the ones that lay in front glare.
“Not taking escape seriously, huh? Well, damn, (L/n)! Looks like you haven’t been paying attention!” Yells echo to the all-knowing sky. Random things, unimportant nothings that no one will even remember. All useless and truly not worth noting. The swings and holds that each of them do is out of character. You stay out of the fights and observe how they could fall so greatly and so hard.
"Stop." Just a simple word from you gains their attention. The blue layer covers them all now, and you feel exhausted. Not because you did anything, hell no you stayed out of the way, but the emotional toll it's taking is too much. The island...it has to be. There is no other way.
“Whatever, (L/n). Come on you guys.”
Momo leaves the face off and heads towards what you feared this whole time other than death at the hands of man, a boat. A boat that won’t carry everyone here. A boat that was meant to leave you stranded at this God forsaken island of mystery and running out of food, safety, and water.
These heroes mean for you to die alone, to die by the wrath of nature.    What could be scarier than the unknown of the island? The heroes that hate you get on the boat except for other: Denki. Kirishima looks at him expectingly, continuously gesturing to the boat. “Denki!”
“I don’t know guys. I just have this feeling, y’know? In my gut and it’s saying to not get on it. That we need to stick together and with the plane.”
“Fucking Dunce-face!”
“Denki!”
He puts his hands up. “I know, I know! Just listen, please! I don’t understand it either but it’s there. So get off of it!”
“Fuck you.”  Bakugou says with finality.
“Deku, Shouto, you coming?” Ashido reluctantly asks. Her leg bounces as she waits for their answer.
“What about Koda?” You yell. Are they considering leaving him behind? Thunder rings above you once again. It startles you back to the safety of Izuku and Shouto.
Kirishima’s eyes are blank. There is nothing there. They don't think much of Koda, do they? Momo boards the boat once again. When Bakugou sees that his childhood friend isn’t coming, he sucks his teeth and pushes the boat to the water. That is the last time he looks back.
Izuku calls out for him repeatedly. All of them, really. No one looks back other than the subtle glances from Kirishima. Even though they are willing to let you die, you call for them too. For their common sense and patience, and life.
“Guys! It’s a storm you have to come back! Please!” Just like you thought, the storm came back. Those few minutes without it were just a short break. You walk to the shore, being slightly pushed back by the wind. The rain hits your face harder and harder, no longer being sprinkles. Lighting crashes down in the distance.
“Come back!” Each of you scream. Nothing is going right. They aren’t coming back, nor do they want to. Ever since you came to this island, since the plane was mysteriously pulled down, there has been nothing right. It is like everything is the opposite or confusing. It doesn’t affect you much, but it is starting to.  You guys can’t leave yet. Not with this storm looming over your heads. Giving up on the boat that is getting farther and farther away, you head to the plane for shelter. The more you thought about them leaving, the more you question. Should they have left? The island can be home. To just lay down now and survive-
“What are you doing? They-”
You snap out of it. Shaking your head you say, “I know Izuku. They're not coming back. We have to find shelter!” Not wanting to argue anymore or think about your previous thoughts, you enter Betsy.
The leaves on the trees sway back and forth. The wind becomes even more fierce. The water splashes from the storm. Looking outside the window, you see how strong the waves are getting. They get closer and closer, becoming more vicious by the minute. Every storm that the island faced was miniscule compared to this one. It is as if God is angry at the island, at the people that have turned on each other for stupid reasons.
Once you see it, the air is taken from your lungs. Huge waves beat against every rock they meet. The shore is getting smaller as the water gets closer. The island, as strange as it is, seems to be breaking by the weight. You run out to tell everybody to get inside. Thankfully, it isn’t needed. The first one in is Denki, then Koda. Shouto is next with a reluctant Izuku.
“We have to find them!” Izuku shouts over the noise. You roll your eyes. “Betsy isn’t ready yet and the storm is strong.”
“You’ve flown through worse, (Y/n).” He’s right. When Gichi Shigaraki, All For One, had wreaked havoc outside Tomura’s body, he somehow got ahold of NIne’s quirk. How he did that, you don’t know but you fought against everything he and Tomura had to offer to evacuate the people.
You remind yourself of the wrath and hatred you faced with the most villainous people in the world. Compared to them, this storm is nothing. But you’re strangely confused about it and scared. Like it’s your first time flying all over again. These jitters, this anxiety flowing through your body with every rock of the wind. This is nothing compared to your strength. You must remember that.
“I crashed the plane.” You did. Betsy, of all planes, is down. You're a failure of a pilot and dangerous. Why are you in the chair? You, out of everyone, deserves to stay on the island.
“I believe you. What you said about it being pulled. All of it. You might be a lot of things, but a liar isn’t one of them. I think there is something wrong too.” Shouto says.
For the second time since you’ve landed, someone said those words: I believe you. Everyone has shaded you, has treated you like a villain this entire time and for someone, Shouto, a hero , to say that he believes you means everything. Ochako was the last person to have shared some of that belief. To the very end she was a hero and kind.
“Please help us. The waves will sweep everything away.” Izuku’s right. The waves are bigger and are crashing against the land. Betsy is rocking and will be pulled away soon. She may not be able to float right now. “I can do this...”
“It’s now or never. We won’t make it till the morning.” Izuku has hopeful eyes. He speaks the truth. It just feels like it. It looks like it. This is the end of the road. Betsy will get swept up in the storm if she stays, if she sits in the sand and is left out on the sea.
With how the storm is looking, it isn’t natural in your eyes. Something is wrong, off, odd.
“We have friends to save, (Y/n). Please save us.” Shouto comes closer to you and places his hands on your shoulders.
“Betsy is going to get swept up. This island is not safe. We need to go.”
“I know.” It’s high time anyway.
Suddenly, the storm somehow misses Betsy and curves to the left. It strikes the trees and rocks further inward. You blink several times to make sure that it's not just you seeing things. The blue haze glazes over it. Embedded in its structure. The way the storm is behaving is not of God. Against God you tremble, against the world you stand tall. You fought the demon kings in order to evacuate and save people. You can do this. Just aim high.
“Let’s roll. Everyone buckle up! Denki you’re with me.”
  He screams. “ In front?!”
You nod at the electric bastard. Comical tears stream down his face. Denki slowly makes his way to the front. You roll your eyes at the man and push him. No one has time right now. This surge of confidence and energy you have may fade away.
“Come on Betsy.” Sitting in your beloved chair, you flip the switches. “Denki, juice her up with everything you got.”
“Right here?!”
“Yep. Touch the dash and give her life, right now.” It is not practical. In reality, he needs to be at the engine and guts. But now is not the time for technicalities. He turns his head to you. “That’s the Pilot I remember. Nice to see you again.”
“I t’s good to be back.”
Denki shocks her and lo and behold, she starts. You push her wheels out and further into the island. Like you’ve before in desperate situation, you turn her quickly. You give her as much speed as you can, dodging the water that reaches closer and the blue tint that wants her, all of you.
When she’s ready, you pull her up.
And off you go.
“I’m pretty sure planes aren’t normally like this!”
“Of course they aren’t! A teenager built this. Nothing on it is normal!” It isn’t. Not a single feature that resembles a normal plane. Who cares? She’s the best there is, and so are you.
Gone is the lost and confused (Y/n).
Before God you will cry, plead, beg, and be fearful. But this island and storm remind you too much of man. Something everyone can beat. Including a quirkless child like yourself.

Could I trouble you for some thoughts/headcanons on KiriDeku? KiriDeku is my #1 fave Izuku rarepair, and there is just not enough content out there for them!
Like, those two sunshine boys together would be EVERYTHING! The way they both love to build others up...they would be such a power couple! Plus, Kirishima is very physically affectionate, so he would just SMOTHER Izuku in loving touches. Meanwhile Izuku has an entire doctoral thesis on all the ways Kirishima is an amazing person and an incredible hero on standby, ready to present and defend at any time.
😊🥰
JDICNWKDNISJF BRO, YOU’RE SO RIGHT😭 KIRIDEKU HAS MY SOUL! NO TROUBLE AT ALL, I LOVE THE WAY YOU THINK💙😭💙😭💙😭
Okay, I personally think that before AU, izuku was majorly touch starved. When kiri realizes this, he make it his mission to smother his adorable, incredible, manly boyfriend in all his affections
Kiri is having some insecurities about his quirk? Izuku completely and wholly understands that! He also has a 400 paged PowerPoint presentation on how incredible kirishima is and why he deserves the world
As you said, they are the TOTAL power couple. They can and will bench press each other. Kiri gets so hyped up, he’s just so proud! Izuku is also proud, but he’s also blushing so hard. Izuku, please breathe. No. No, izuku, deep breath in. Izuku, please, your boyfriend is worried-
Dude, they’re both just so supportive I’m going to cry
Like,,, they’ve both been bullied before and they’re just so. Nejcnwjcnwicjwif. They’re so strong, and they lift each other up
But one day, they run into some of kiri’s old bullies :( he tries to play it cool and izuku gets that, but he will also not let people talk shit about anyone he cares about
They’re both full time simps, but kiri is more blatant about it. Izuku just has such low self esteem :(((( so excuse him if he wants to remind his boyfriend that, holy shit, he’s so strong and cute and smart and kind and heroic and manly as hell
He’s so loud about it. He will profess his love for izuku to anyone who will listen. And most people who won’t listen too, honestly. A villain was being an asshole one time? Now he knows how izuku organizes his research and likes his katsudon.
The villain retired
Izuku’s simping is more quiet but no less chaotic. Again, 400 page PowerPoint that he has on a flash drive carried on him at all times “just in case”
In case of what, izuku? Uraraka wants to know. She’s seen it three times and she’s so tired
Kiri finds izuku’s ao3 account and follows so fast. Izuku is shook because 1. He’s embarrassed. And 2. He doesn’t think he’s that good
Kiri knows that he is indeed, “that good” he’s really good. No, he’s not just saying that because he loves the green demon, but because it’s absolutely 10000% true!
The pining before the two got together was. Horrible. Everyone can attest to this
There were betting pools. So many.
Uraraka, Nezu, Sato, momo, and mic were the only ones who won anything (aside from izuku and kiri, who won a boyfriend)
Trans kiri/nonbinary izuku
Thoughts????
Izuku helps kiri dye his roots every couple of weeks! Mina used to do it, but one day she fell asleep before and kiri felt bad waking her up. Izuku found him kind of panicking, so he offered to help! Now, mina and izuku both help!
Literally though. Mic dubbed them the sunshine boys two days into classes and said that they’d be together by the end of the year.
He was correct.
Kiri let’s izuku ramble on as long as he wants to! He doesn’t always understand some of what izuku is talking about, but his passion and drive are just so manly and his excitement is contagious!
Izuku loves listening to kiri talk about crimson riot too! He shows kiri his crimson riot analysis and dude. If kiri wasn’t smitten before, be sure as hell is now
He was smitten before. But still
Kiri helps patch izuku up whenever he gets injured, which we all know is too fucking often, kiri is a concerned boyfriend to the max. He know izuku is strong and that he can handle himself, but he needs to learn how to actually take care of himself too. I.e. not fucking off on his own to become a vigilante and try to take down the worlds most notorious super villain with little to no help and almost never stop for food, water, or rest when you’re 16 and have had your incredibly powerful and still evolving quirk for just around a year
But Kirishima digresses
No, he doesn’t. He’s going to cuddle izuku for hours after that. Izuku will not move. Izuku, let your boyfriend and all your friends and parents smother you in the affection you deserve
Kiri and izuku are both loyal to a fault. And that often comes back to bite people, but it never does between these two. They are both just so caring. They see each other hurt or upset and immediately go into mom mode
They made playlists for each other 🥺
It happened before they got together actually. Jirou overheard izuku muttering in his room about it for hours one night before she texted him a few song recommendations and that he should go to bed. He was mortified but very grateful
Honestly, I feel like Shouto would pick up on the fact that the two liked each other really quickly. It’d just make sense to him. Like. He’s blunt as shit and also is a little shit, and he makes it his business to be all up in their business.
He becomes great friends with Mina, because he just assumes that they’re together. And once told that they aren’t yet, he’s just confused.
“Why not? You like each other.”
“It’s not that simple, Shouto-kun!”
“…”
“Why not? Does all might not approve? I assumed he would. But yes, having your father’s approval might matter yo kirishima-“
“It’s not that! All might isn’t my dad-“
“Aizawa then? Or yamada?”
Mina says that Kirishima should be scared of all the shovel talks he’s going to get, but honestly? He’s not scared in any way! He would never hurt izuku and he’s really happy that izuku has so many people who care about him like he should be cared about!
Kiri 1000% watches Say Yes To The Dress, and izuku watches it with him sometimes. It’s great, because neither of them know anything about fashion. Kiri started watching it with Mina and now he loves it
Speaking of their fashion? Worst dressed couple on campus /affectionate
Aoyama and Mina insist on helping them get ready for their first several dates
Honestly, everyone knows that it doesn’t matter what they wear because if kiri fell for izuku and his “t-shirt” shirt (which I loved, by the way) and izuku fell for kiri in his crocs (which I don’t love, by the way), the pair could wear almost anything and the other would still swoon. It’s sickening. But also really sweet, you cannot deny no matter how many times Aoyama has tried to spruce up their wardrobes
Izuku one day gives kirishima a jar that’s half full with little scraps of paper and tells him to pick one out when he’s sad. On the pieces of paper, are all different reasons why izuku thinks kiri is amazing and why/how much he loves him. He adds to it every day
Kirishima is #EMOTIONALEHCIJSIXNSKC GUYS, HIS BOYFRIEND IS LITERALLY THE SWEETEST WHAT THE HELL
Aizawa genuinely doesn’t know if it’s cute or absolutely disgusting. He tries not to think about it too hard really
Kiri finds out that izuku is really good at art and helps him get confident enough to offer commissioned works! He also commissions him all the time without telling izuku. One day, izuku finds all the pieces kiri commissioned from him and cries because, guys, HIS BOYFRIEND IS SO SWEET, HE DIDN’T HAVE TO PAY FOR THOSE, HE’D MAKE KIRI ART FOR FREE ANY DAY
BUT IZU, THAT’S WHY HE DID IT SECRETLY, BECAUSE YOUR ART IS SO MANLY AND WORTH MILLIONS OF YEN
They’re absolute menaces and I love them with my entire soul, thank you so much for this 💙😭💙😭💙😭💙😭 but I hope you liked itttt!!!! Kirideku is genuinely such a compatible pairing dude, they deserve more. Just. More. Better.

The life you dreamed of
(Series)
Description: Y/n a K-pop Idol of the 5-Member Group Moonlight. But what happens when she falls in Love? How exactly is her life as an Idol and why did she become one?
Idol! Yeji X Idol! Reader
Warnings: Mention of Bullying and Suicide, curse words
Chapter 10:
Masterlist
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
My eyes widened as I felt a hand on my arm. I immediately turned my head to the person beside me and smiled as I recognized Yeji. But in my mind, chaos ensued, with everyone suddenly screaming inside my head.
"You look really cute, no matter how hard you try to look hot," the taller girl whispered in my ear. I could feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, and my heart packed its bags and moved to my pants. My entire face turned into a tomato.
Yeji laughed at my reaction, "Watch out, the camera is coming," she said as she briefly nodded toward the camera, which was capturing a close-up of each idol. I smiled into the camera and sent a finger heart to the fans at home. Yeji next to me also smiled into the camera as it moved on to the others.
We were all standing on stage as the awards ceremony was taking place. My eyes widened as Jihyo's name was announced. I grinned widely as I watched Ryujin make a funny face while presenting the award and handing flowers to the winner. I clapped loudly and jumped up and down. I watched Jihyo as she turned to each of us.
But my eyes were fixed on Yeji, who was congratulating Jihyo and giving her a hug. My heartbeat quickened, and my eyes widened.
No... I couldn't have a crush on Yeji, could I?
Yuna, Haewon, Hanni, and Yunjin beside me congratulated the older girl on her win, and I did the same. We were all invited to the private afterparty, although I didn't know where it was being held. Apparently, Jihyo's manager had informed ours.
Of course, we mingled with the other guests first, and Jihyo started singing her song "Killing Me Good" for the live viewers at home. In the background, most of us sang along and danced to the choreography. After all, we all knew this song. Each of us had participated in that TikTok challenge at least once.
Instinctively, I kept my distance from the redhead. I didn't know why. Was it because my heart was going crazy? Was it because I didn't want to admit it?
I mean... we were friends, right?
Just friends...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With a smile, I looked over at Mina and Tzuyu. Both of them were standing next to me, and we had formed a small circle. The only problem was that none of us were really saying anything. We all just looked at each other as the background music played. Each of us held a drink in our hands.
My eyes landed on the wine glass in Mina's hand. "Aren't you allergic, Unnie?" I asked softly, prompting the older girl to smirk and chuckle. She laughed a bit while Tzuyu started smirking too. "Well, technically, yes. But I still drink. It would take me hours to finish this glass, though," she replied, and I nodded in understanding.
I felt Yuna rest her chin on top of my head as she glanced over at the other two women. Our little group suddenly filled with words. I think I spoke for both of them when I said that Yuna arrived at the perfect moment. After Yuna, more people started joining us.
I chuckled as I listened to the conversations around us. Haewon seemed to be chatting with the members of Nmixx, while Yuna was loudly complaining about JYP. Everyone burst into laughter when Yuna imitated JYP, who was also present and couldn't help but laugh at her impersonation.
The room filled with laughter. Eventually, the music was turned up, and the first person on the dance floor was Chaeryeong. She pulled Dahyun, Momo, and even Changbin onto the dance floor. I chuckled and glanced briefly at Bang Chan. He was smirking into his drink, seemingly observing everyone.
I made my way over to his side and gently nudged him with my elbow. He looked at me, and I asked, "What's wrong? Aren't you having fun?" He shook his head and replied, "No. I'm just... happy..." My face immediately brightened.
His hand rested on top of my head as he smiled at me. "Enjoy the evening, Y/n. Stop talking to someone like me," he suddenly said. My forehead furrowed in anger, and the older man looked at me in surprise. "What does that mean? Don't talk down about yourself in my presence, understood?!" I said, pointing my index finger threateningly in the air.
Bang Chan burst into hearty laughter. He held his stomach while laughing, "Understood," he replied, still chuckling. Then Felix approached him, and he turned his head to talk to him.
Sighing, I finished the last sip of my champagne and signaled to the older man that I would get another one. He casually nodded in agreement.
Once at the small bar, I ordered another glass, which I received after a short wait. I smiled at the bartender, thanking him.
"Are you avoiding me?" I heard someone say, and I immediately turned to the person. It was Yeji, looking stunning with her makeup enhancing her beauty.
My breath caught as her long fingers wrapped around my wrist. She gazed into my eyes, and that alone was enough to make my breath hitch. I swallowed and licked my lips nervously. "No, why would you think that?" I asked, visibly nervous, but I tried to play it off by taking a sip of my champagne.
Yeji released my wrist and ordered a glass for herself as we stood at the bar. She looked at me. "Well... during the show and somehow here... I feel like you're avoiding me," she replied, her gaze fixed on me. My throat felt dry, and my heart pounded in my right ear, making it hard to gather my thoughts.
I shook my head. "No, I'm not avoiding you," I replied almost immediately. My eyes, however, drifted to the others, and I locked eyes with Yuna. I smiled right away. "Sorry, Yeji. My members need me," I said, bowing slightly. I quickly moved over to Yuna and wrapped my arm around her waist.
But Yeji's eyes bore into my back, possibly because this was the first time I had bowed to her since we became friends.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeji (12:19): Hey, Y/n. I'm bored. Do you want to do something together today?
Me (12:38): Oh. I'm sorry... I have a lot to do today.
Yeji (12:38): Didn't you say last time that you were free today?
Me (12:52): Yes. But I still have a lot to do. My manager wants to talk to me, and I have vocal coach training.
Yeji (13:00): Oh, I see. Busy day for you, huh?
Me (13:10): Yeah, it's been pretty hectic lately.
Yeji (13:12): Y/n, is everything okay? It feels like you're avoiding me.
Me (13:20): No, it's not that. I've just been caught up with work and stuff.
Yeji (13:25): You can always talk to me, you know? If something's bothering you.
Me (13:36): Thanks, Yeji. I appreciate it. Just need some time to sort things out.
Yeji (13:38): Okay... Call me anytime... i will be there!!!
Sighing, I set my phone aside. My cheeks were slightly flushed, and my heart was doing somersaults. But the guilt weighed heavily on me. I bit my lip.
Yes... I was actively avoiding her...
But all in the hope that these fleeting feelings I was developing for the gorgeous redhead would wither away. I didn't want this. We were good friends. Besides, she was straight... at least, I thought she was.
I sighed again and pulled the hood of my hoodie low over my face as I leaned back. I was lying... I had nothing to do.
"What are you doing there?" I heard a voice say, and I jumped in surprise. I pushed the hood back and looked at the person with wide eyes. Yunjin and Haewon had just come over and sat down on the couch. Both of them gave each other quick glances before turning their attention to me. "You look like a mess again," Yunjin commented suddenly, which earned her an indignant look from me.
Haewon nodded in agreement. "Why do you still have that hoodie? It's got holes and stains all over it," she remarked, tugging at my sleeve. I immediately moved my arm away from her hand. "This is my favorite hoodie!" I retorted, my hands delving into the front pocket.
"So... anything new going on?" Yunjin asked rather conspicuously, constantly glancing at me. I furrowed my brow at her and asked, "What are you getting at?" This made Yunjin raise her arms defensively, shaking her head. "Oh, nothing at all, just making conversation," she replied, lowering her arms to her lap. "Unless, of course, you have something on your mind?" She added, tilting her head slightly.
Puzzled and visibly confused, I looked at Yunjin, who was simply smiling. Shortly after, I turned my gaze to Haewon, who sighed. "Manager-nim asked us to keep you away from any scandals. So, is there anything that could potentially cause a scandal?" Haewon inquired, prompting Yunjin to stare at her with her mouth agape.
"We wanted to take it slow and give her some time," Yunjin said, but Haewon waved her off. "This fool here doesn't need time. She needs some sense," Haewon responded, causing my eyes to widen, and my whole body tensed up.
"No... there's nothing that could cause a scandal," I started to say, but then I stopped myself. That would be a lie... Everything I did could potentially cause a scandal...
Yunjin and Haewon noticed my hesitation. Both of them raised their eyebrows and instinctively moved closer. My head lowered in embarrassment as my cheeks visibly flushed. "I-I'm trying not to get into any scandals," I admitted, nervously fidgeting with my fingers.
Haewon and Yunjin exchanged glances. "We can help. Soooo?" Yunjin asked, clearly expectant. I swallowed hard. "I think... I'm slowly developing feelings," I confessed, blushing even deeper. Haewon nodded, and Yunjin rapidly nodded three times in quick succession.
"For whom?" Haewon inquired, her eyes knowingly widened. However, Yunjin looked to Haewon and said, "Who else? of course, Ryuj—" before she could finish, I quietly spoke the name of the person, "Yeji."
"Of course, Yeji," Yunjin quickly corrected herself in a single breath. Her eyes widened almost immediately. "Wait, what? I thought... Ryujin?" Yunjin asked, which made me shake my head in response. Yunjin looked shocked, but our leader was smirking contentedly.
"Okay. Let me guess. You're avoiding her right now, aren't you?" Haewon asked, causing my eyes to widen. I looked at the younger girl in shock, who started laughing. She placed her hand on my head and pushed it onto her chest, just as she did to comfort the two younger members.
"That was obvious. Y/n, I know you," she said, her hand resting on my head. I tensed visibly. "Can I say something? You and Yeji... you were never just friends," Haewon said confidently. My eyes widened as I pulled away from her. I furrowed my brow, looking angry. "What do you mean?" I asked, crossing my arms. Haewon chuckled.
"I don't really want to reveal too much. This is just a piece of advice I can give you. You and Yeji, you were never just friends," she repeated confidently. Yunjin gasped suddenly and looked at our leader. "Oh God. Do you mean?" she started but was cut off when Haewon nodded her head.
Confused by this conversation, I looked back and forth between the two. Somehow, I felt like I was being played.
My phone vibrated, diverting my attention to it. I unlocked my phone and tapped on the message I received.
Yeji (15:20): Message Deleted
My eyes widened. She had just sent the message. How quickly had she deleted it? Curiosity got the best of me, and I started typing.
Me (15:20): What did you delete???
But... I received no response...

Below the surface
((This is a Kaminari Angst story.) ((CW Mention of Drowning, child abuse, neglect & trafficing))
The class thought they knew Kaminari pretty well, he was just a fun-loving guy who didn’t seem to have a serious bone in his body. He wasn’t the best with academics and hardly had a hand on his quirk. How the hell did he get into UA?! Sure, he did improve in some areas but still struggled and seemed generally happy. He had some weird things about him, like how he’d jump when the communal showers were turned on, how he’d scarf down his food or just stare at it. At the beginning of the year, he seemed extremely awkward but broke through it with jokes. However, his jokes didn’t completely hide his hyperawareness of everyone around him.
They all just chalked it up to him having some quirks about him. Everyone has them right?
Denki made friends with everyone, he was personable at least, and the bakusquad loved him. He was their bubbly fun-loving electric blond boy who adored video games and trying things out! Denki was also a pretty good listener especially when they moved into the dorms and some of his classmates had a hard time adjusting. He’d listen to them vent. He’d let Mina paint his nails while she went on about her home life. Though if anyone asked him about his, there wasn’t much he could say…..How could he?
His parents were never home, hell they sold him off to the commission once he got his quirk since they didn’t wanna parent him. The only reason he wasn’t there anymore was because they wanted to try out dual teachings and UA got a hold of his records.
Today was the day his friends would see who he was underneath his smiles and laughs.
Today’s mission went wrong. How you ask, it was a school team up during patrol. They were entrusted to handle patrol and broke up into squads. A villain outbreak happened and let's just say long story short someone’s quirk had a misfire and shrapnel was coming down. Kaminari got in front of a civilian to protect them from whatever was coming. Little did he know the quirk’s effects.
Now that the air had cleared Kaminari’s squad was looking for him and under the rubble was a small blond in his now oversized t-shirt. The poor child looked confused and horrified, one of his classmates picked him up and rushed him over to the first rescue truck they could find. Though as soon as Kaminari was set down he tried to crawl off and run. He screamed for them not to hurt him and backed himself into the corner of the bed he was on. It took a while for them to get him bandaged up before the crew said he could be taken back to the school.
Bakugou, Eijirou, Mina, Sero, and Jirou were in the truck. They listened as the child cried out for the medic to stop, and they hadn’t done anything to him yet. At first, Bakugou was the first to speak up….well more like a yell.
“Dunce face stop fucking screaming, he’s just trying to fucking help!” Eijirou was quick to bap Katsuki on the forehead pointing out how Denki was acting.
“He’s scared dude. No kid screams like this for no reason. I’d be scared too if I got turned into a child and suddenly some adult is trying to touch me.” Bakugou adjusted himself in his seat, arms folded as he grumbled lowly. When they got to UA, they brought him to recovery girl with the hopes that he would cooperate more easily.
Well, to say getting him bandaged was difficult was an understatement. Denki seemed to want to avoid the school nurse at all costs. His peers could hear his screaming from her room to their classroom! Some said he was just being dramatic while others quietly sympathised. Aizawa gave the students a heads-up.
“Look I understand this is strange but, I need you guys to be patient with him. These sorts of quirks vary in effect so we don’t fully know how he’s being affected. Whether he remembers people from his teen form or not, as well as he may have some baggage from his younger years that may resurface.” The way Aizawa said the word ‘baggage’ the class seemed confused. He said he would not delve into it unless he needed to and had Kaminari’s permission.
“For now I just want you to be kind and look after him.” It was another minute before there was a knock on the door, Aizawa gave a small ‘come in’, and on the other side was Recovery-Girl. The class’s attention shifted to the old woman.
“Denki will be physically alright, it took some…effort, luckily his injuries are superficial and will heal. His current age is somewhat unknown, I’m guessing maybe 6-10 years old. He doesn’t know how old he is himself, and we don’t have much to compare it to. He’s very jumpy and easily startled, you will see lots of scarring since I couldn’t find a shirt for him just yet just pants. He doesn’t remember UA at all so do not be surprised by this.” The class gave a silent nod before Tenya spoke up.
“Where is Kaminari, is he resting in your office, Recovery-Girl?” Recovery-Girl looked a little confused before she looked behind herself and noticed the child wasn’t with her.
“He was just with me a second ago, holding my hand.” She said to herself wondering where he could have gone. She looked back down the hallway there wasn’t a trace of the boy to be seen. How’d he disappear so fast!? She looked back to the class with worry Aizawa asked if he should radio Nezu to announce a lockdown and search. Recovery-Girl shook her head at this suggestion.
“No no, especially if he knows we’re doing a lockdown, it’ll cause him to panic more than he already is. He’s probably trying to find a place to hide. If we have the teachers go after him it’ll only traumatize him more. He sees adults as a threat, remember….also you remember the first day of school Shota” The man sighed when that was brought up, rubbing the back of his head with a nod.
“Yup, I remember, damn that kid could hide in places I didn’t think he could fit in. Now he’s smaller the kid could be anywhere.” Then there was the class, confused as ever what were they talking about? How would the heroes going to look for him to make it worse? What happened on the first day of school?! Aizawa could see the confused looks on their faces and leaned against his blackboard, giving the school nurse a look she said.
“Just tell them, it's for the best they know.” Aizawa nodded and cleared his throat now all eyes were on him.
“Alright, listen up. What I say about your classmate must not be told to anyone outside of this room unless they are a teacher at the school. Got it?” The class collectively hummed a ‘yes’. Shota continued.
“Kaminari Denki used to be in the hero commission. For those who don’t know the hero commission ‘breeds’ children with strong quirks and trains them like soldiers. As you can imagine the conditions weren’t the best. Denki was let out of the commission 6 months ago so he’s lived his entire life in that facility, and to say how he was treated badly is a gross understatement. I will not go into detail as to what I know he’s been through, but all I will say is. To him, he sees us adults as a threat to his safety. He’s trying to get out because he feels trapped. Think of him as a scared prey animal like a bunny or a rat, he views us as lions or wolves….But I’m going to entrust you all with the special task of bringing him back. I will ask all the teachers to shut their doors so he can’t get into a classroom if he hasn’t already. This will limit his options.” The class stood in stunned silence, their minds all on different frequencies. But they have their task and now need to focus on finding their classmate. Aizawa grabbed his radio and gave the order for teachers to lock their doors and take attendance.
“What do we do?” Started Mina, Momo was the first to speak up.
“Well, first we should take off our support gear or anything that could look threatening.” Some furrowed their brows.
“Why would we do that?” “Because for 1 we won't need it to get to him, it could make it harder to get into tight spaces, at most maybe a rope if he’s stuck somewhere. And 2 because it could look threatening. Like Aizawa said he’s easily frightened. For example, Bakugou would have to take off his gauntlets and mask. Cause I don’t know about you but some of us would look scary to a tiny child.” “Momo’s right,” Iida said while lifting off his helmet and placing it on his desk. The class wasted no time dismantling their hero costumes for those who needed them.
“Let's split up into groups, upper level, and lower level. I’m passing out walkie-talkies for progress reports.” Momo said as she used her quirk to create the devices. The class divides themselves in half and gets assigned their levels.
“Okay remember, be gentle and quiet, and try not to scare him!”
Once the class leaves the rooms they’re on the search for Kaminari. Passing door after door, they were happy to see that the classroom doors were all closed. The lower level group let the upper level know that they’d made it and were splitting up to cover more ground. The only sound in the halls was their feet padding on the tile as they looked around. Searching corners and behind stairwells.
Kirishima’s group was on the upper level, tension was as thick as a knife. Even Bakugou was worried, he started to regret yelling at Kaminari in the truck. How could he not tell them he was a commission kid? That was his entire life it's not like he’d have no memory. Maybe it was too painful to talk about? Maybe it was something he didn’t wanna remember. If that was the case they’d understand but this explained a lot of his behavior. How he’d jump when you touched his shoulder, or how jittery he could be some days. How he seemed to be lost when it came to human interactions, or learning he’d never had certain foods, and that he mainly lived on rice bowls before the dorms were put in place.
“You think we could bribe him to come out with candy?” Suggested Mina, Sero shook his head.
“No, if he knows it's a bribe he won't fall for it. He’s a child not stupid. We’re strangers to him.” “dang-it how are we supposed to find him? This place is so big, it’ll take all day.” “where would you hide?” Katsuki spoke up, the group looked back at him.
“I’m serious, if you were a tiny brat, where would you hide? They said to think of places he’d hide.” Eijirou scratched at his chin while thinking before blurting out.
“The bathrooms! He might not be able to read so he could be in any of them. And since the door can be locked he’d think he’s safe.” Eijirou radioed that they would be checking the bathrooms to find him. Hurrying off to the nearby bathrooms on their section of the top floor. Mina and Jirou went and checked the girls’ bathroom while the boys checked the boy's bathroom. Nothing.
Deku’s group reported the same thing, and then Nezu came into their frequency.
“Hello class 1-A I got wind that you are searching for Kaminari. I’m looking through the school surveillance to see if I can help you. Whoever was closest checked the school storage closets, I saw him head that direction.” With that instruction, Eijirou’s group checked their location and went to the nearest storage closet, which was in the teacher’s lounge. The door was locked, which was weird, that door was only ever locked when school was over.
Mina managed to melt into the lock to get the door open, at first they didn’t see anything until the soft whimpering noise came. Looking to the left and down they saw a flash of yellow and then sparks of electricity. The lights flickered on and off repeatedly. Finally, their eyes landed on Kaminari who was curled up, knees to his chest under a table. Shuffling themselves inside quietly Eijirou was the first to speak.
“Hey Denki” Teary eyes darted up at them and he scurried farther under the table. The electricity he created grew stronger as he cried for them to not hurt him. Eijirou was the first to get down on his knees prompting the others to do the same as he tried to calm the boy down.
“It's okay Denki, you’re safe, no one’s gonna hurt you. We promise none of us are gonna hurt you and we won't let anyone hurt you.” Denki made a soft noise before shaking his head ‘No’. Saying he didn’t believe them.
“You’re gonna bring me back to the guards, I don’t wanna go back.” “We’re not gonna bring you back to them. There is no guard to bring you back to buddy.” That seemed to get Denki’s attention.
“Th-there isn’t?” Then Jirou chimed in. “No there isn’t, do you know where you are, Denki?” “…Th-the c-commission?” “No, you’re not there anymore. You’re at UA, a pro-hero school.” Denki then started to come out of his curled-up position, his quirk also fizzling out a bit.
“You’re safe, we just have to bring you back to Mr. Aizawa okay?” Then Denki starts crying again shaking his head.
“N-no, no adults, they’re scary.” “Alright, how about we take you to our dormitory?” “dormit-tory?” “yeah, it's where we all live. It's like a big apartment building sorta.” “y-you promise they won't bring me back?” “Yes, Denki we promise.” Slowly Denki crawled out from under the table and into the light. Recovery-Girl wasn’t joking when he said Denki had scars! There were many small scars, but there was also a large one on his back that resembled lightning. When the child got to his feet he held onto Kirishima’s belt tightly. Eijirou didn’t mind this and took this as a sign that Denki trusted him.
Sero texted that class 1-A group chat to let them know Denki had been found and that one of the other groups needed to inform Aizawa that they’d be taking Denki to the dormitory. He knew that if he used the radio Denki would probably freak out. With that, they walked to their dormitory.
Taking Denki outside was, sad to say the least. He looked like he’d never seen outside before let alone walked outside! He was completely enamored with how warm it was, how bright the sun was. And that there was no fence….Damn. When they reached the dormitory Denki mentioned how it looked similar to the commission.
“That's kinda what our dormitory looked like…but really dull and a lil smaller.” Bringing him inside he stayed close by to EIjirou. He looked around the place cautiously as if someone would pop out of nowhere at any time. Eijirou took him over to the couch just as some of the other students came in. Seeing the others Denki became anxious again and tried to hide. Eijirou saw this and just held Denki reminding him that the others wouldn’t hurt him.
“Aaw there’s Denki, where’d you find him?” Inquired Ochako.
“In the teacher’s lounge under a table.” “oh wow, good thing Nezu gave us the idea to check the storage places.”
Some tried talking to Denki, asking how old he was and if he remembered them. This was obviously overwhelming him. He nuzzled himself into Eijirou’s body making a nervous noise, while his quirk sparked. Some were confused as to why he was hiding as if what Aizawa had explained earlier had been forgotten.
“OI, back off of him will ya!” Called out Bakugou from the kitchen, he didn’t yell, but he was loud enough to make the group pause. He came over with a bag of chips and some juice and offered it to Kaminari.
“Hey kid, got ya something” Denki looked over at him and the snacks.
“You can have them, they’re yours,” Bakugou stated handing them to him, Kaminari cautiously opened the bag and ate one of the chips. Quietly muttering a ‘thank you’ as Katsuki down beside him. His sparking faded to nothingness as he quietly ate his snack.
“You guys can’t crowd him or you’ll scare him. You remember what Mr Aizawa said.” Ejirou added, that there were many ‘sorry’ ‘didn’t mean to’s from the class as they took a step back. The only one who came forward was Momo, she had a small shirt in her hand, it was plain nothing much. But it would fit and that’s all that mattered. Denki happily put the shirt on and then asked.
“Since I’m not at the commission anymore. Does that mean I don’t have to do training?” “Training?” “Yeah, we have training every day, it was always before the sun came up and went all day.” “What was the training you had to do?” “Hm, it was mainly sparring. Or I think that’s what they called it. We’d also have ‘stealth missions’ and assassin practice.” That truly got the class’s attention.
“And what did those involve?” “Well with sparring, we’d sometimes use our quirks, other times we were given weapons. They tell us not to stop until the bell rings. I got hurt a lot when we’d spar, sometimes they’d make bets on who would win. I don’t win very often so the adults always get mad at me.” “A-and what about assassin practice?” “Hm? It's like tag with weapons! I don’t like being ‘it’, I can run super fast but I don’t like hurting people. Though the handlers say that I’m not a big boy if I don’t.” The class looked unsettled with how casually Denki spoke about it, he still ate his snack while he talked as if it was nothing. Like some snack time story!
They decided to not press too much for his past unless he wanted to, besides it was a little disturbing!
They did notice that Denki seemed to be a lot quieter as a child, though they connected that to being shy of nervous around others since he was so small. That was until he pointed out how nice they were.
“You guys are really nice compared to my roommates” “Your roommates?” “Mhm! They usually sound like the blond guy over there, but a lot meaner.” When Denki said blond guy, they all knew he meant Katsuki. Katsuki shifted uncomfortably in his seat wondering how bad were those guys.
“Sometimes they could be nice but most times all they’d do is scream at me, take my food, or make me do things I don’t wanna do. If I want them to be nice then I have to be strong like them or they’ll go back to being mean” “Wh-what did they make you do?” “Make me sleep on the floor or in the closets, make me get in trouble n’get punished for things I didn’t do.” And all of this happened to him while he was barely even 12! What the hell happened after age 10? He got out of there 6 months ago!
The worst of what they knew about their beloved electric quirk user was yet to come.
As the day got later, Denki learned some of his classmates’ names. He still only stuck around with the Bakusquad since he seemed to feel the most comfortable with them. They planned to sleep in the common room sleepover style. They got everything set up, blankets, and pillows, and Bakugou was in the kitchen. Kirishima looked at the time and figured Denki needed a bath n had to have his bandages changed. Momo had given them a set of pajamas for him to change into afterward.
“Alright Denki, we gotta get you cleaned up so we can change your bandages. Gotta take a shower kiddo.” Then everything changed. Denki’s entire demeanor changed in the blink of an eye. He frantically shook his head and began to cry. His hands came up in a defensive way over his head as he pleaded for them not to make him take a bath. The group looked bewildered by this sudden change. Seeing the fear flickering in his eyes as he looked at them.
“Hey hey kid, it's just a shower, we don’t wanna get your PJs dirty.” Again Denki refused Eijirou’s reassurance and this time said.
“I-I’m not falling for it. Th-they say that a-and then…then th-then” This time Sero came over to help inquiring what was causing Denki to be so fearful of taking a shower.
“What is it, Denki?” “Y-you’re gonna drown me!” He blurted out, and everyone in the room froze. The room almost pinning silent except for Denki’s ragged breaths.
“Drown you?” Sero repeated, Denki nodded and explained it to them.
“Th-that's what th-the chamber is f-for. Th-they put me ins-side and fill it up w-with water n don’t let me out un-until I pass out. Or the big kids force m-me in and shove my head in the w-water bucket, or put a t-towel over my face!” Katsuki had turned off the stove when he heard that, the entire room still silent with a stunned look on their faces…..That explains the flinching. Sero could barely utter a word just staring at the blond in horror. All they could hear was Denki begging for them not to put him in the shower! It was another minute before Katsuki had come over from his place in the kitchen.
He then reached over and picked up the child, pulled him to his chest, and just walked around shushing him softly. Adding a light bouncing to his walk as he did this. One hand gingerly rubbing his back the other holding Denki up. He walked around the entire lounge quietly whispering soft reassurances of his safety until Denki ultimately quieted down. The class watched in shock. Since when in the hell could Bakugou Katsuki be so damn gentle!?! How did he just casually walk up, scoop the child into his arms, and do all of that? Who was this guy and what did they do with their Bakugou?!
Finally, when Denki was just sniffling and making small noises Katsuki went over and asked Momo if she had any wipes. When she brought over her bin of body wipes, Katsuki set Denki down and gave him the bin.
“Just need you to wipe down your body with these in the bathroom alright? Put on your PJs and when you’re done we’ll bandage you up. Think you can do that?” Denki nodded and went into the rest room leaving the class to now gawk at Katsuki in amasement. They waited till the door was shut for them to start asking questions.
“Dude what the hell was that?!” “How in the hell did you get him to stop crying?” “didn’t know you could do that!”
Then finally “Oi Oi OI! Shut it….I’ve seen the old man do that with Eri and it seems to work. That’s all.” He grumbled out, though they all knew there was more to it than that. Yet they collectively decided not to press for more answers knowing the result won't be what they want. So they just situated themselves back to their routine and Katsuki went back into the kitchen to finish making dinner.
When Denki came out in the PJs Momo gave him he shyly went and gave Momo her box then went over to Katsuki with a proud look on his face.
“Tada! Look ‘Tsuki I did it!” Yeah, the entire class felt their heart melt at that point. Katsuki looked over and smiled at him giving him a pat on the head.
“Good job kid, I’ve made you nuggets and fries, can you take these to the big take over there?” Katsuki asked while handing Denki a stack of paper plates, Denki nodded and toddled off to the lounge and put the paper plates on the big table in front of the couches. Katsuki wasn’t far behind with the big tray of chicken nuggets and fries that he also set down. They let Denki get what he wanted first and then they all went at it. Jirou put on a movie that Denki seemed excited about, it was Finding Nemo, and he’d never seen it. By now the class wasn’t too surprised, some guessed he’d never seen a kid's TV show in his life!
While they watched the movie, Eijirou and Katsuki made fast work of rebandaging Denki. Thankfully the movie kept him pretty distracted so it didn’t take them long to do it. They were saddened to see all the scaring and a barcode with serial numbers that seemed to be tattooed on his neck. Mina took the opportunity to try brushing out Denki’s hair which was much longer, almost shoulder length. Which compared to his teen form where it only reached his jawline. His hair was very tangled and messy, some of his hair needed to be re-sectioned out. She did her best not to tug or yank at his hair, taking her and reading his body language to know when to let him take a break. By the end of the movie, Mina with the help of Jirou got Denki’s hair completely brushed out, some of it was put into a ponytail to keep it out of his face.
Looking at the time and then at the small child they saw he was getting sleepy and put him down…well tried. Eijirou tried to put Denki down on the cot but, the little one refused to let go and would make a small noise when Eijirou tried. They took it as a sign just to let him sleep with him, which Eijirou didn’t mind. He didn’t move much in his sleep and if it made Denki feel safe then that was fine by him. Everyone got themselves settled into bed, whether that was in their rooms or the common room, and went to sleep.
(time skip)
It had taken 3 days for the quirk to wear off and by then the class had found a new appreciation for each other. As well as a new perspective on their classmate. When the quirk finally wore off they woke up to now-16-year-old Denki who went on about his day like nothing had happened, as if everything was a dream until someone pointed it out.
“Holy shit he’s normal again!” Denki looked confused at this and asked what they were talking about. Hanta then asked if he remembered anything.
“Hm well I remember this strange ass dream that I’d turned into my kid self, you guys didn’t look the same at all honestly. As if we were strangers, didn’t know where the hell I was either.” “well dunce face, that was no fucking dream, you got hit by some stupid quirk. So everything you ‘dreamed’ was real.” Replied Bakugou as he sipped on his coffee.
“….Y-you guys saw things didn’t you….you heard things didn’t you?” It took them a minute to understand what Kaminari meant by this until Sero came over.
“Yes we did but, we don’t hate you, we don’t see you as weak. We just see that as a part of your past. It just explains some of your behaviors and that is okay.” “I-I just di-didn’t wanna tell you, I didn’t think you’d believe me h-honestly.” “I mean yeah it sounds crazy but, we have no reason to judge you. Besides if Aizawa had to tell us it was bad, then it's bad.” “W-well d-do you have any questions for me? I know you guys are probably curious about everything else” Jirou then came up behind him and joined the conversation.
“You don’t have to tell us anything you don’t want to. Sure, we’re curious but you can talk about it on your own time at your own pace. We’re not gonna push you to talk about your past, Kaminari” Denki let out a small sigh of relief and rushed his hands through his hair with a smile.
“I’m glad I’ve got you guys, You’re the best friends I could ask for.” “Tch whatever Pikachu, don’t get all mushy on us, it's too early for that.” “Whatever ‘Tsuki~”
Even with Denki back to his older self, the squad couldn’t erase the younger version of him. They now knew what lay below the surface of his smiles. They couldn’t put away the memories of the blond huddled under a table in fear. They couldn’t shove away the conversations they had with him that he so casually brought up. They couldn’t un-see the marks on his back and that most definitely multiplied by the age he was now!
And wondered if they would ever go deeper ever again….Even if they promised to never force answers from him, that didn’t stop them from wanting to delve lower into the depths of Denki’s trauma.

The evening quickly drew to a close with Remi nearly falling asleep in your lap. His parents each offered you a hug and extended invitations for you to come back whenever you liked, and next, they were hugging their son, telling them they’d see him next week.
Remi was out before he’d driven ten minutes down the road. Cheek pressed to her shoulder, mouth hanging open slightly. He smiled at her through the rearview mirror before glancing over at you. “Thank you for coming with me today. You really don’t know how much it meant to her.”
“Thanks for inviting me, and please, thank your parents again too. They’re so sweet.”
The music was turned down but you still hummed along until a quiet, “Dada, Y/N?” He looked back in the mirror while you actually turned around to see what she needed.
“Can we have sleepovers tonight? I still haven’t gotten to.” She sounded so sleepy and her little eyes were even able to stay open but Eijiro didn’t know what to say. You both just shrugged at each other.
“Sure, pebble, think we can do that.”
“M’kay. Good. Thanks. Night.” And with that her head tipped forward, back asleep again.
You carefully reached for her, guiding her back in her car seat so her neck wouldn't strain, and then turned back to Eijiro. “I can just Uber home once she’s asleep, no big deal.” You whispered just in case she was still listening.
“Feel bad making you take an Uber…”
“It’s really alright.”
He wanted to argue but he didn’t have a better solution other than offering you his spare room which he wasn’t sure how you’d feel about, so, for now, he let it go.
He enjoyed the quiet of the ride for a while. There was no need to fill the air with idle chitchat to mask any kind of awkwardness because there was none. Just a sense of peace and your quiet humming. He only spoke up after you reached back to pick up the dark shadow plushy that had fallen to the floor and placed it right back in Remi’s lap.
He hadn’t been able to stop thinking about what his mum had said in the kitchen and the words sort of just slipped out of his mouth, “You’re really good with her.”
“She’s a good kid.”
“I know but, just the way you are with her… I can’t really explain it.”
He could see a distant smile pull up the corner of your lips. “Must be a little bit of those mother’s instincts that stuck around.”
Eijiro blinked a couple of times, sitting up straighter like that would help him make sure he’d heard you correctly, and then your eyes went wide as if you realized you said something you shouldn’t have.
“I— I just—“
“I thought you said you didn’t have any kids.”
“I don’t! I never did.”
“Then… what did you mean? If I may ask.” He wanted you to know you didn’t need to tell him anything even though the curiosity would surely kill him if you chose not to.
And you sat in the passenger seat, quietly for a very long moment, quieter than he’d ever seen you before, to the point he thought you weren’t going to say anything at all. He saw your mouth open once but no words came out. Saw you do it again, but still nothing.
Suddenly you seemed so far away like you had been in the hospital when he’d seen your scar. You didn’t want to talk about it then, he didn’t see why you’d want to talk about it now. “Y/N, it’s okay if you don’t wanna—“
“’S just no one knows. No one here at least.”
“You mean since you moved?” You nodded your head, “Do you want anyone to know here?”
“I didn’t think I did. I don’t wanna dump this information on anyone, least of all you. ’S not good, Kiri.”
He watched your fingers twist and turn the hem of your shirt. “Hey,” Doing his best to look over at you but also keep his eyes on the road ahead, “You let me tell you about Rem and my ex earlier,” This time he put his hand over yours, momentarily stopping your fidgeting fingers. “You can tell me whatever you like.”
Your hand was still under his and you also didn’t pull away. He kept it over you, comforting you hopefully like you’d done for him while collecting your thoughts. It was eating you away, whatever it was, he could see that now. “We’ve all done things we regret, Y/N. Stuff we wish we could change. Whatever happened, I’m not here to judge you for it.”
“You promise?”
He moved his hand and linked your pinkies together, “I pinky promise.”
You gave him a very dry laugh, adding, “I don’t think I want anyone else to know… is that okay, can you keep this to yourself?”
“Of course. It’ll stay just between you and me, you’ve got my word.”
He heard you draw in a deep and shaky breath and he set his hand back over yours. “Okay, just gonna dive right into this…”
“I was engaged for quite a while to my high school boyfriend. We had a pretty long engagement, wedding planning was just never a priority for me at the time and he didn’t seem to mind but, I became pregnant over the course of the engagement. We weren’t trying or anything but we wanted kids down the line, we already knew that so we decided to keep it.”
Your voice warbled so he began moving his calloused thumb over your knuckles, “My fiancé asked me to stop hero work the mo-ment we found out. I told him that was ridiculous, that plenty of pro heroes work through the first several months of pregnancy and then return after the birth. He f-finally agreed to let me work. When I was three months along, my agency was attacked. I was fine, so was the baby, the attack was minor but, he told me either I stopped hero work permanently o-or he would leave me. I-I didn’t stop.”
Illuminated by the glow of the dash, Eijiro was able to see the tears that had started to roll down your cheeks. He felt his heart start hammering quicker in his chest, your hand practically using his as an anchor the further you drifted into your story. “He left like he said he would. We’d been together since we were teens and I loved him but I didn’t kn-know what I’d do if I had to stop working, it was everything I worked for. So, I was gonna still have the baby and work, I’d do both. On m’own. When I was five months along though, there was a villain attack. My boss wouldn’t let me patrol any of the more high-risk areas so, I was on a simple p-patrol route, quiet area, it should’ve be-en fine. B-ut it wasn’t…”
The more your voice broke the harder it was for Eijiro to fight the tears he could feel welling up because he knew what the outcome of this was going to be. His misty eyes glanced back at Remi, still sound asleep, and you pressed on. “There’d been mo-re of them than I-I realized. I w-was hit with a quirk th-at caused my internal or-organs to fail 'nd I went down.”
Under a street light on the deserted road, he had to pull the car over. He threw it in park because he wanted you to have his full attention to get through this. Eijiro kept his eyes on you even though you wouldn’t look anywhere but the empty road ahead, he gave you both his hands to hold, your fingers anxiously toying with his own.
“S-someone with a re-generation quirk arrived ‘nd stabl-stabilized m-me but, but,” One of your hands left his and covered your stomach, fisting the fabric over it so tightly. Tears rained down your face, splattering in your lap as you shook your head, “He— He was already g-one!”
Eijiro got out of the car in an instant, leaving his door open and running right to your side. You had your arms thrown around him the moment you could. There was no asking permission, no fear of lines being crossed, none of that mattered right then.
“Shh, ’s alright, ’s okay,” He undid your seatbelt so he could maneuver you into his arms, wrapped them around you so tightly while your fingers dug into his back, his tears falling into your hair, “I gotcha, let it out, I gotcha.”
He could just barely see Remi’s face, lost in her own little dream world, and it only made him cry that much harder. For how unprepared he was when it came to her, how scared she makes him, even how much he questioned if bringing her into the world would be the right decision, Eijiro couldn’t imagine a world that didn’t have her light. From the moment he felt her kick, he couldn’t fathom his life without her in it.
“I wanted h-him so badly, Eijiro.” He kissed the top of your head and let you ramble, say all the things you’d kept inside, whatever you needed to. In time, your sobs turned quiet. He rubbed soothing circles into your back while you told him how very few people knew you were pregnant. Most assumed you’d gained some weight but even before the split, you wanted to wait to tell people. After it, you wanted to wait as long as possible to avoid judgment.
You weren’t particularly close with your parents, especially after your ex left after a difference of opinion, and they sided with him. So, when you were finally out of the hospital and recovered, you’d made the choice to move. Move away from all of it.
“It took me some time to g-et finan-ces in order and sell off a lot of my things b-but then I came here. Wanted to b-be close to family I liked, I just didn’t know how to tell ‘em what happened. Still dunno how to.”
His fingers brushed a strand of hair out of your eyes. “You tell Tamaki whenever you’re ready, and he’ll listen, and he’ll understand, and he’ll be here for you, I know he will.”
Your breaths came quicker again, “B-but ’s my fault! I kept working, I kept going, I—!” He tried to calm you down but you kept going, “I should have listened. I’d have my baby if I just—!”
“Hell no!” He held your face in his hands and that made you go quiet. “This is not your fault! This is that villain who hurt you’s fault!”
“But I could’ve—!”
“I said no!” He wouldn’t let you do this to yourself, not anymore, not if he had anything to say about it.
“The International Pro Hero Association dictates that active hero work must be put on hold by the sixth month of pregnancy.” He remembered reading that when his ex was pregnant and he needed to know about the time off he could get. “You were within that time frame. You were allowed to work. People have worked longer!” He brushed your tears away only for more to take their place, “You could have taken the time off, you could have quit all together! But something can always happen, you just never know. Look at me, Y/N, please.” He waited until your eyes met his, “This was not your fault.”
Your eyes squeezed shut again. “No, no, Y/N, please don’t shut me out. Alright. I need you to repeat after me, okay? This was not my fault.” Your mouth remained closed. “Come on: This was not my fault.” Still nothing.
So, he dipped his head a little lower and brought his lips right beside your ear. Eijiro made his voice as quiet and soft as he possibly could. “That bastard took so much from you, don’t you dare blame yourself for the pain they caused. You did not deserve what happened. If you wanna be mad, be mad at them. Now, say it, please: This was not my fault.”
A couple of seconds ticked by, “This was not my fault.” It was barely a whisper but he heard you.
“That’s it. Very good. I know how much you care. I’ve seen it myself. You are a good person, say it.”
“I am a good person.”
“I knew how much you cared the moment you brought Remi back to me. You saved her from reliving her worst fear and you didn’t even know her. You are compassionate, say it.”
“I am compassionate.”
“I saw it when I found you in the valley. Takes a special kinda person to do what you did when you fell. You protected others even though you were injured yourself. You survived. You are resilient, say it.”
“I am resilient.”
“Doin’ so good. One more time for me, deep breath; This was not your fault.”
You sucked in the air and on the exhale, “This was not my fault.”
He hadn’t paid any attention to the time he spent at the side of his car holding you, it didn’t matter how many minutes had snuck by, he’d stay like this for as long as you needed him to. With time, your shaking sobs stilled and, you clung to him a little less. “I think I’m out of tears.” You chuckled weakly, pulling back a little and looking up at him.
He smiled and brushed your hair back again. “Think they’re all in my shirt now.”
“Sorry about that.”
“Don’t be. You don’t have to be sorry for a single thing.” He reached around you and opened the glove box, pulling out a little pack of tissues.
“Couldn’t of gotten these out a few minutes ago?” Your laugh was a wet one but you plucked a couple free.
“I was a little busy.” He countered and took a few for himself. Your hand brushed gently over his cheek. “Please don’t apologize again.” But you looked like you wanted to, really badly too, like you didn’t know what you should say instead. “C’mon, why don’t we get headed back?”
You nodded your head and he helped you turn back into the car, even buckled you back in before quietly closing the door.
You were quiet when he started to drive again but he didn’t really expect anything different. What was unexpected was the question you’d asked him, “Could I hold your hand again?”  The question had barely left your lips and he had his hand resting on your knee, palm up, just waiting for you to grab. “Thank you, Eijiro.”
He smiled again hearing you say his name. “You’re still callin’ me that.”
“Is that okay?”
“Mmhm. I like it.”

It felt like you’d blinked and you were parked in front of an unfamiliar home. The world finally came back into focus. One of Kirishima’s hands was still in yours but his other was brushing along your cheekbone, the cause of you waking up. “G’morning,” He grinned over at you, “Ya fell asleep.”
“Crying sometimes makes me tired.”
“I know what that’s like.”
You looked over at him, neither of you making a move to go anywhere just yet. He was chewing his lip, thinking about something, “What is it?”
“’S just you look really tired and I do have a spare room. You’re more than welcome to it if you’d like.”
His generosity really had no limits. And, you could admit to yourself that after what you’d talked about, all that you shared, going home to an empty apartment didn’t sound too fun. But, was it weird to accept the offer? “Could I get a glass of water and get back to you on the room? Lemme see how I feel?”
“‘Course.” But still, neither of you pulled away from the other. Both turned in your seats to face the other, head’s resting on the seatbacks but not speaking another word. His thumb still brushed over the back of your hand and you would squeeze his every now and then. It was a silent sort of communication that you were lucky enough to both understand: his way of saying, ‘I’m here for you,’ and yours was a, ‘thank you,’ in return.
He looked at you differently now but, just as he promised, it wasn’t in a way of judgment. It was as if you peeled back a part of yourself to him, allowed him to see more, and he was going to take his time memorizing it.
“Home?”
The both of you looked in the backseat and saw Remi rubbing her sleepy eyes.
“Yeah, pebble, we’re home.”
“Y/N…”
“Yes, sweets?”
She held her arms out even though she was still in her car seat. “Hug?”
Kirishima smiled and explained that she had a tendency to get really clingy when she’s tired which, you remembered from the night in the hospital.
Your hand slipped out of his, “You don’t have to, I can get her.”
“Noo—!” His daughter protested. “Y/N please…”
He gestured for you to go ahead, “If you’re sure you don’t mind.”
You really didn’t, not a single bit. You unbuckled her from the seat and she latched her arms around your neck. She tucked her head right under your chin while Kirishima grabbed the leftovers and her little backpack and then led you right up to his front door.
“I think she fell back asleep.” You whispered when he quietly shut the door behind you both.
“She does that.” He took her limp body into his arms, “I’ll be right back, just gonna put her in bed. Make yourself at home.”
When Kirishima quietly walked down a long hallway, you slipped your shoes off and set them beside his own. His house wasn’t lavish like some of the top heroes you knew. It was on the larger side but it felt cozy somehow. Pictures on the walls of the two of them with family and friends, a couple of him and friends from his school days too.
A wrap-around sofa made up most of the living room, along with a brick fireplace with a television hanging above it. On the mantel between the two were little figurines that you assumed were works of art created by Remi, he also hand a few of her drawings signed and framed sitting on each of the end tables.
The house might have been big but it was well lived in. Memories had been made within these walls, enough that it wasn’t just a house but a home.
You took a seat on the edge of the sofa and were looking out at his backyard through the sliding door. You couldn’t make out much of it, but he had cute little fairy lights strung up and they brought a warm glow into the night.
“How about that water?” Kirishima nodded his head for you to follow him into the kitchen. “Sorry, it’s a little messy. We didn’t get a chance to clean up after breakfast.” He hurried to put a couple bowls in the sink and a purple dinosaur cup. “Just water, or can I get ya anything else?” He opened up the refrigerator and let you have your pick of water, milk, juices, beer, or wine coolers.
With a beer in his own hand, he led the way out to the backyard. It was a decent size with a yard past the deck, complete with a playset and swings. But, Kirishima made for the set of patio furniture, taking a seat on the sofa while you sat across from him in one of the chairs.
It didn’t take long for the two of you to fall into your usual nightly routine, only this time it was in person rather than via a video call. You’d easily lost track of the time, letting him and the easy-flowing conversation lighten your spirits, laughing up to a sky littered with winking stars.
When a rush of cool night air ruffled your hair and sent goosebumps up your arms, Kirishima quickly went back inside and returned with a quilted throw, unfurling it so it would wrap around your shoulders. He even took the time to get you another drink, returning with also a bowl of snacks in hand.
You moved to sit beside him on the sofa, making it easier to share the treats while you kept talking, all bundled up in the blanket. Well, bundled up until you saw him shiver that is.
At that point, you shimmed the blanket so it could cover his legs too even though he insisted he wasn’t cold. You both sat with legs up on the sofa, backs on opposite ends but legs in between each other. Hands that weren’t digging in the snack bowl found each other again, your fingers lightly brushing like neither one of you knew if it’d be okay to hold now that the moment in the car had passed. But, one of you had to be brave enough to do something. This time it happened to be Kirishima. His fingers filled the spaces between yours when he nonchalantly popped a pretzel into his mouth with a grin and it made your heart flutter.
He’d been doing that a lot lately, doing or saying little things to make you feel like you had butterflies in your stomach, you’d almost forgotten what that was like. You were pretty sure he wasn’t even aware of the things he was doing either.
The looks he’d give you, with his gentle eyes and crooked smile, like the one he was giving you now, they were quickly becoming something you looked forward to seeing every single day. Not only that, they were becoming something you depended on seeing every single day. Because when he had his two days off after his 48-hour shift, and you only got to text him for 24 hours, it felt like your day wasn’t complete without seeing it.
He had a way about him that made you feel calmer, more relaxed. You couldn’t explain it, but, on that quiet road when every terrible memory came flooding back to you, each decision you’d regretted making, and all the horrible things you told yourself in your darkest moments, Kirishima was somehow able to break through all of it.
“Hey,” You called his attention back from rooting around the bottom of the bowl, “Thank you for not treating me differently now that you know.”
“Oh, please, you don’t need to thank me! Made a promise after all.” His hand squeezed yours to emphasize the statement, but he was still able to see the weight of the night bringing you down again. “Could I hug you?”
The question caught you off guard. “You didn’t ask me before…”
“That’s because you hugged me before.”
“Oh, right…” That had been what happened.
“May I?” You nodded and he pulled you forward, letting your legs settle over his, and you tried so hard not to think about the fact you were practically sitting in his lap with his thick arms surrounding you, his chin resting atop your head but, after a while, he pulled back to look at you.
“I will never pretend to know the pain you feel, I don’t even want to consider losing…” He swallowed instead of saying her name, “I just really hope you know that what happened to you doesn’t define who you are as a person, you’re more than that one event. It was tragic, I’m not denying the impact that it’s had on you, you’re just so much more than this one thing that happened, no matter how big it was.”
Kirishima had a way about him that made you feel calmer and more relaxed. He also had a way about him that made your heart race faster than it ever had before.
Tumblr media
Falling asleep under a blanket of shining stars, holding hands with a kind and handsome man, should have been incredibly dreamy. However, you woke up with tangled legs and heads awkwardly resting on opposite armrests again. The blanket was covered in cold morning dew, your skin chilled to the bone, and your throat felt scratchy.
The world was barely even awake, stuck in that crisp blue light before the sun broke the horizon.
You leaned forward, shivering and shaking when you reached a hand out for Kirishima, who lay with red hair falling in his eyes and mouth slightly open. “Kiri-shi-ma.” Damn, you couldn’t even keep your voice steady, so next time you just tried, “Kiri.”
He slowly came to, the first word for the day being a swear followed up by, “So fuckin’ cold.” Even in his daze, his hand found yours, and then you noticed him pull at his damp shirt, “C’mon. Gotta get you outta these wet clothes.”
You felt the warmth of his home the very second he pulled you back inside, but, he didn’t stop walking. You followed him down a new hallway and right into a room that you could assume was his bedroom. He didn’t give you time to take things in though, walking you right into the bathroom. “Warm up with a shower. I’ll leave ya some clothes on m’bed.”
His voice thick with sleep never failed to make you smile. “And what about you?”
“Guest shower, down the hall. ‘M gonna make coffee when m’done.”
Tumblr media
And that was exactly what he’d done. Brewing an entire pot of the delicious warm liquid and pouring himself a mug and one for you. He’d been with you in the cafe enough times now to know how you liked your coffee, leaving the steaming beverage right on the counter for when you came out. Except when you did, he nearly dropped his mug.
It wasn’t just the fact you were wearing his clothes, all of which were comically large on you, no, it was mostly the fact that curled up in your arms with her messy bedhead was his daughter. You explained that she’d come into his room looking for him but he barely heard a word you said, too caught up with just the sight of you both in front of him.
“So early,” Remi whined and it snapped him back to reality, “No work today.”
He chuckled and traded you the mug of coffee for his child. “Right, pebbles, not going to work today.”
“Then why you awake!”
“I dunno, kid.” He heard you laughing, following him into the living room where he set Remi down on the sofa with a pillow tucked under her head. “How about some cartoons, yeah?”
She let him put on some show, and that meant within ten to fifteen minutes she’d be sleeping again. “She’ll be out for another hour or so.” He told you, going for his second cup already, hoping it might get rid of the sore throat he felt coming on. “’M really sorry we fell asleep like that.”
You waved a dismissive hand at the apology. “You weren’t the only one who passed out.” When he saw you roll your neck like you were trying to work a kink out, he brought his hand up you to you without really thinking, but you didn’t stop him either. You actually turned a little more to give him better access.
His fingers kneaded your warm skin, dipping under the shirt collar to follow the tense muscle. When he heard the pleasant hum come from you, felt you lean back into him just the slightest, he knew he was doing something right.
“You doin’ okay?” He asked when he felt you neck relax again.
“’M doing really good. Thank you.”
He was thankful you back was still towards him so you couldn’t see the pink rising in his cheeks. He quickly cleared his throat. “You’re welcome but, I, uh, I meant with what happened on the way home last night…”
“Oh,” His hand settled on your shoulder, brushing his thumb across your skin, “Yeah, I think I’m doing okay.” Your fingers laced with his. “Thanks for letting me stay over.”
“Anytime.”
“’Scuse me!” Both of you jumped a little and looked to see Remi sitting up on the sofa. Neither of you had noticed how busy the four year old had been in the short amount of time. She now hand three additional blankets pulled out over the sofa, and a mound of pillows. “Sleepovers mean all of us!”
And that was how the three of you ended up on the indoor sofa this time. Warm under soft blankets. Comfortable enough that the three of you fell back asleep, not waking up for another couple of hours.
Tumblr media
“French toast, please!” Remi made the breakfast request and was flinging open the pantry, pulling out a teal and pink step stool, “I’m gonna help!”
When the three of you came to, you offered to head out, not wanting to intrude on Kirishima’s Saturday off with Remi but both father and daughter invited you to stay. Well, Kirishima invited you to stay, Remi pleaded.
You couldn’t remember the last time you made breakfast with someone. Actually, you couldn’t remember the last time you went about making a hot breakfast in general.
“Easy on the sugar, pebbles. Don’t want your teeth falling out.” Kirishima put the bag out of his daughter’s reach and placed the freshly sliced bread in front of her. “Okay, remember, we want the egg wash on the bread, not the counter,” He coached but let her dip the bread in and move it to the pan by herself while you worked on frying a couple of eggs next to them.
Of course a mess was made but the both of you expected as much. The mixture ended up all the way to Remi’s elbows but none made it to the floor. “Can… could you?” Kirishima didn’t really know how to ask for your help but you were happy to give it.
“Want me to cook or clean her up?”
Remi’s eye’s lit up, “Y/N can use her water!”
That was true. “I can if that’s okay.”
“By all means!”
You took a sip of water, solidifying the element you’d be using for the day, and set Remi down on the edge of the sink. Turning on the faucet, you made sure the water was comfortable before asking her if she was ready.
“Mmhm!”
With a flick of your wrist, you channeled the water. “Arms out, please!” She did as instructed and you wrapped them in the water while Remi giggled, a wide smile pushing up her round cheeks.
When Kirishima didn’t have to flip the bread, he was looking over his shoulder, watching the two of you interact, not even caring about the torrent of butterflies taking flight in his stomach.
He was so screwed.
Tumblr media
Remi ran off to her room after breakfast while you and Kirishima cleaned up the kitchen. You were washing the dishes while he put away ingredients. You’d been setting a bowl in the dishwasher when you noticed the Save the Date on his refrigerator and mutter a quiet, oh shit, under your breath.
He’d heard you though, “What’s wrong?” Spinning around to make sure you hadn’t hurt yourself.
“Nothing really. I just, with everything that happened, I forgot about Izuku and Melissa’s wedding coming up.”
Now he turned to the reminder on his fridge. “Yeah, just a couple weeks out now. Izuku’s been going nuts over the little details.”
You smiled thinking about how he probably had at least ten different notebooks filled with ideas and plans for the day. “Are you going?”
“No, I thought I was gonna have a newborn and making that flight with them didn’t seem like the most fun idea.” Kirishima froze and you watched his face fall. “Hey, it’s fine! Really.” His lips were still tight but he nodded, opting not to dwell on the subject.
“I’m sure if you just talked to Izuku, he’d love to have you there!”
“Oh, no. Like you said, the wedding is in a couple weeks! I’m not gonna ask them to accommodate me like that.” Kirishima casually reached for his phone that had been sitting beside the stove. “What are you doing?”
“Nothing…” His thumbs rapidly tapping the screen.
“That doesn’t look like nothing!”  You tried to peek but he lifted the phone higher so you couldn’t see. “You are not!”
“What are you gonna do about it if I am, hm?”
There really wasn’t anything you could do about it, not when he held his phone up that high. Then it chimed with a new message. “Oh…”
“What does ‘oh’ mean!”
He brought it down and handed it over for you to read:
You: Y/N mentioned she totally forgot to send in her RSVP to your big day with her moving and I think she’d really like to be there for you guys. Any chance she might be able to go? I know I marked plus one but I’m not bringing anyone. Could she use that?
Midoriya: That’s a really nice offer, Kirishima, but I already accounted for her when we knew she moved… forgot to tell her I guess. I should do that… thanks for the reminder!
You smiled at Midoriya’s response but it was what Kirishima had offered that you read a second time over. “That really sweet of him… you were willing to give up your plus one for me though?”
He set his phone back down with a sheepish smile. “Yeah, I mean, I don’t have plans to bring anyone. Mina made me mark it just in case, but,” He just shrugged, “So, guess I’ll be seeing you there?”
“Guess so. Save me a dance?”
His grin grew wider. “You got it.”
Tumblr media
It wasn’t for another few hours, when you were kicking a ball around the backyard with Remi, that you noticed Kirishima massaging his throat again, something he'd been doing all morning and you wondered if he might've been feeling a little off too. “Everything okay?”
“Yeah, just had this sore throat since we got up. ‘S probably nothing. I’m sure it’ll be gone by tomorrow.”
“Mines been that way too must’ve just been the cold air.”
Except, his wasn’t gone by Sunday and neither was yours. In fact, the scratchy throat turned into a cough and was accompanied by a runny nose come Monday morning. But, you weren’t running a fever so, off to work you went.
Kiri: Just dropped Rem off. Moms’ gave me soup. Wanna split it for lunch?
You: Hell yes! What wonderful women!
Tumblr media
You’d been in your office for only an hour, a humidifier right on your desk when Mina knocked and nudged your door open. “Hey babe, everything alright? You usually don’t have your door closed.”
“Careful!” You warned, “I think I’ve caught a cold and don’t wanna pass it on. Hence the closed door.”
She backed away slowly but her wind was reeling; you weren’t the only one with a cold, Kirishima was sick too…
“A couple of interns saw them leave together on Friday. Same car and everything.” Kaminari told her. “Kinda mad Ei scooped her up first.”
Mina smacked his arm. “After everything he’s gone through the man deserves someone so nice! And Y/N is perfect. Shoulda seen her in the hospital with Remi. It was adorable.”
“Ya think they’re sleeping together yet?”
She really wasn’t sure. Kirishima had been so guarded since the split happened but, if you two left together and were both sick now, there was a chance. “Well, there is one person Kiri would tell.”
They both quickly walked across the office, thrilled Bakugo was here and not on a patrol for once.
Tumblr media
He could not believe these two idiots, gossiping around the agency. “It’s just that time of year! Don’t go spreading fuckin’ rumors, you hear me!” Both of them looked like children, staring down at their feet, muttering a quick, ‘okay.’ In return.
“Good! Now, one of you go take Kirishima’s route for the day. I’m sending his ass home.”
Bakugo walked out of his office before either had a chance to argue, walking two doors down, not even bothering to knock on Kirishima’s door before barging in and slamming it shut behind him.
“The fuck is going on with you and Y/N!”
“Bakugo, too fuckin’ loud, man.”
"People are talkin'!"
"'M not in the mood today..."
The blonde didn’t give a damn about his best friend's headache. “You two fuckin’? Is that it?”
At that, Kirishima actually stood from his desk. “First of all, I don’t know where you get off coming in here accusing me of this. And second, not that it’s any of your business but, no, I’m not having sex with her. If I was though, it’s none of your damn concern!”
“Ya left together on Friday, both come in sick today, something’s gotta be goin’ on!”
“For fucks sake,” He rubbed his temples, “Remi missed her, okay! Took her to have dinner with us on Friday. Stayed up late talkin’ and fell asleep out on the deck, got sick, end of story. Happy now?” Bakugo still gritted his teeth. “Why are you acting like this? Why do you care?”
“’Cause, you both have been going through shit! Don’t wanna see either of you end up hurt worse than ya already are, alright? Don't need ya being each other's rebounds and all that shit! Fuck!” He took a deep breath. “Just get your ass home and rest. Sending Y/N home too.” And he walked back out the door.
Kirishima popped by your office, saw you packing up your laptop, “Heading home too?”
“Yeah, Bakugo doesn’t want anyone else getting sick.”
He nodded. “I still have that soup. Wanna go be sick together?”
Your eyes looked so tired even though you were smiling at him. “Sounds good to me.”

summary; Jeon Jungkook is an infamous hitman, known for his inability to fail at whatever job is thrown his way. At least, up until now. Y/n, a kind-hearted and full of life teacher, is his newest target. Jeon isn’t sure who would put a hit on this seemingly innocent girl, but fortunately, that isn’t his problem. All he has to do is pull the trigger.

A few days after the accident...
"What's wrong, Mina?"
"It's ____," Mina sobbed into the young man's shoulder as he pet her head gently, "She's in the hospital, someone hurt her."
Dae made a sound of sympathy as he continued to run his fingers through her hair, "She's alive though?"
"Yeah," Mina sniffled.
"Then you have nothing to worry about."
Mina hugged him tighter, "Sorry, for crying."
"No need to be sorry," Dae pulled back and smiled at her, "I know it must be scary."
"You'll help her, right? Her family left, she has no one but you and me," Mina said tearfully.
Dae's eyebrow twitched and a small smile appeared on his face, "Of course."
___________
"You...what?"
"Oh, don't act so surprised, Mina."
Mina's stomach plummeted to her feet and she resisted the urge to hurl.
"B-But, I thought you cared about her."
"Oh, I did. Very, very, much. I cared about her more than I cared about you," Dae watched Mina's face fall, a sick satisfaction soaring through him.
"...huh?"
"Oh yes, I asked her to be with me. But she refused."
Mina felt a stab of jealousy shoot through her.
"You know, she hurt me, deeply. That's why I did it."
Mina stayed quiet, so he continued, "You understand, don't you? She's just like that. You do everything for her and she pushes you aside. She kept giving me mixed signals, leading me on only to hurt me in the end."
Your best friend swallowed thickly.
"Sounds familiar, doesn't it?" He whispered, "You've always stood up for her and taken care of her, and yet she went after me just to mess with you. She knew you liked me, didn't she? Maybe you didn't tell her, but she knew, how could she not see it?"
Her teeth clenched as she listened to his words, like poison seeping into her veins.
"Of course, you were the one I had always been in love with, she just made that hard for me to see."
"Really?" Mina's voice quivered.
Dae nodded, a sad smile on his face, "With her out of the picture, I could have you all to myself without worrying about her ruining things for us."
Mina looked uncertain as she clenched her fists.
"I know you care about me, Mina."
"I do."
"Can you help me?"
Mina looked up at him, her heart melted in her chest at the look he gave her.
"Yes."
"I knew I could count on you."
________________________________
Present Day...
"Mina messaged me."
Jungkook looks up at Tae from the strawberries he was cutting for your lunch, "What?"
"She messaged my work phone, obviously that's the only number she has."
It's been almost a week since Mina left, today is Friday and no one has heard anything from her.
Until now.
Jungkook sets down the knife.
"What did she say?"
"She said they agreed to call off the hit on one condition."
"And that is?"
"They want the money back from the first payment they gave you."
Jungkook narrows his eyes, "That's it? That's all they want?"
Tae shrugs, "That's what she said."
"I don't believe that, not for a fucking second."
"I don't either. What am I supposed to tell her?"
They both hear the toilet flush and the sink turn on.
"Just, tell her you'll get back to her later today. We can figure it out when I get back from taking ____ to work."
Tae nods, but when Jungkook turns to keep cutting the strawberries, he asks, "Would you actually give them the money back?"
Jungkook doesn't look at him as he cuts a little berry, "Yeah, why wouldn't I?"
"I mean, what about your mom's treatments?"
Jungkook swallows hard, "I'll figure something out."
The door to the bathroom opens and you come out, a tired look on your face as you walk over to Jungkook and Tae.
"Good morning, ____," Tae says with a smile.
"M-Morning, Tae!" You say brightly despite the exhaustion covering your face.
Jungkook turns and leans against the counter as he looks at you with a smile, "You look sleepy."
"I'm a-always sleepy," You say with a laugh.
Jungkook laughs lightly as you walk forward and give him a hug.
His cheeks burn at the intimate gesture in front of his best friend, but he wraps his arms around you anyway.
After a second, you pull away and look at the cutting board with strawberries on it, "Ohh, s-strawberries!"
"You can have one now if you want," Jungkook grabs one and hands it to you, "Here."
You take it happily and start munching away as Tae grumbles about how Jungkook didn't let him have any and how he's playing favorites. Jungkook grabs another strawberry and pops it into Tae's mouth as he's ranting.
The older boy chews it up, then turns and winks at you before heading over to the couch.
You smile at him and then turn back to Jungkook, "Thank y-you."
He nods with a smile sweeter than the strawberry you just ate.
"Are you all dressed for work?" Jungkook asks as he finishes up packing your lunch.
"Mhm," You reply, watching him closely.
Jungkook turns back to see your hair is a knotted mess.
"What about your hair, silly?"
You reach up and touch it, a little frown on your face, "I'm t-too tired."
Jungkook laughs, "Here, let me do it. Go get your hairbrush and hair ties."
You skip away to your suitcase and rummage around in it for a second before pulling out the things he needs to fix up your hair.
Jungkook sits on the couch next to Tae, then spreads his legs a bit and drops a pillow on the floor so you can sit between his legs.
You sit down on the pillow and get comfy, one of your arms draped over his thigh and your head resting on it as he brushes your hair.
Jungkook is gentle as he gets the tangles out, then he brushes it all back and pulls it into a ponytail, one much better than the one he did earlier this week.
"There you go, sweetpea," Jungkook whispers in your ear.
"Thank y-you," You say shyly as you stand up and go to get your shoes on.
"I'm taking her to work, I'll be back in a little bit," Jungkook says to Tae as he grabs the keys.
Tae nods, "I'll be here."
-
"I'm gr-grateful that you k-keep making my lunch," You whisper shyly as Jungkook drives to your work.
He smiles, "I'm glad you keep liking them, I enjoy making them."
Jungkook stops the car at a red light.
Something has been nagging at you this whole week, so you finally decide to ask him.
"J-Jungkook?"
"Mm?"
"W-When you first g-got me that night..."
"Yeah?" He looks at you.
"Um, y-your face l-looked like you h-had been in a fight."
"Oh."
"And s-so did Tae's."
Jungkook bites his lip, contemplating what to say.
"Yeah, Tae and I had a fight."
He's not going to lie anymore, he's in deep enough already when you find out what he's lied about.
Which is basically everything.
That realization makes him ill.
"About w-what?"
"You."
Fuck.
Your head snaps in his direction, a look of bewilderment on your face, "M-Me?"
He nods and you see him gulp, "I hadn't told him about you and he was angry."
"He-...He w-was mad about m-me and you b-beat each other up?" You ask in disbelief, making Jungkook cringe.
"Uh, yeah."
"I th-thought he l-liked me," You say quietly and look out the window.
"H-He does!" Jungkook says quickly, "He does now that he knows you."
"I d-don't understand b-boys," You whisper, a grumpy look on your face.
"What's wrong?" Jungkook asks.
"Boys are st-stupid," You say, crossing your arms.
Jungkook scoffs, "What makes you say that?"
"You both h-hurt your best friend over a m-m-misunderstanding."
Jungkook glances at you and he can tell it really affects you.
"You're right, boys are stupid. We shouldn't have resorted to physical fighting," Jungkook sighs, "It was stupid, but I guess we knocked some sense into each other."
You smile a little at his joke and he feels his heart warm at that.
You pull up to the school and Jungkook smiles at you as you jump out, "D-Don't get into an-anymore fights with Tae," You scold him gently.
Jungkook leans over and grabs your hand, then he links his pinky with yours, "Promise."
You give him a smile and shut the car door, then you skip to the stairs and climb them, running over to go inside the big school doors.
-
"Okay, what the fuck do we do?" Jungkook asks the second he comes into the apartment.
"We should try Namjoon again," Tae says, "He can figure out if it's legit."
"It isn't legit."
"Ok, well he can figure out something about it."
Jungkook pulls his phone out and calls Namjoon's number.
It rings a few times, Jungkook and Tae waiting with bated breath.
"Hey, what's up?"
Fuck yeah.
"Hyung, I'm so fucking glad you answered, you haven't answered all week."
"I know, it was a busy week, sorry JK. What did you need?"
"I need you to do a few things for me," Jungkook says, anxiously waiting to see if he'll be shut down.
"Name it and it's done."
Thank fuck.
"Ok, I need you to find an anonymous client for me-"
"Easy. What else?"
Jungkook and Tae look at each other.
"They say they'll call off the hit if I give them the money back-"
"Bullshit."
"That's what we think. We need to know their next move though."
"I'll do my best, JK. Give me a few days and I'll get back to you, okay?"
"Thank you, Hyung."
"Sure thing."
The line disconnects and Jungkook sighs, a huge weight lifted from his shoulders.
"That took fucking long enough," He growls, irritated at himself.
"At least we've got a start. Now, what are we going to do to buy time with Mina?"
Just then, they hear a bling come from Tae's work phone.
He pulls it out to see a message from said person:
You have until noon today to agree or not.
If the money isn't returned by noon on Monday, the deal is off.
I did the best I could.
Jungkook grits his teeth, "Tell her we'll do it and find out the details for where we leave the money."
Tae nods and gets to texting.
-
"And th-then we had a snack, and after that w-we pl-played and I made the highest to-tower in the block ch-challenge!"
Jungkook laughs at the way you jump up and down in your seat, your seat belt holding you down safely.
"I'm starting to wonder if you or the kids have more fun at school," Jungkook teases, making you laugh as your cheeks turn pink.
"The d-ducklings m-make it fun for me," You say shyly.
"I'm sure they feel the same way about you."
You shrug and look out the window, too embarrassed to respond. You don't know why you always get so shy when he talks good about you.
Jungkook smiles at you then turns to keep his eyes on the road.
"So, Tae was wondering if you wanted to go to dinner tonight."
You look at him in surprise, "Huh? D-Dinner?"
Jungkook nods, "Yeah, he wants to take us somewhere nice."
"Oh, th-that's really sweet," You nod, "I w-would love that."
Jungkook smiles, "He'll be happy about that."
"Is it a sp-special occasion?"
Jungkook shrugs, "I guess you can say that."
"W-What is it?"
Jungkook mumbles something and you're about to ask him to repeat himself, but he suddenly speaks up.
"We're home."
He hurries out of the car and you follow him inside and up to the door, jumping in surprise when the door swings open before Jungkook even has a chance to unlock it.
"Hey, guys!" A huge boxy smile greets the two of you.
"Hi Tae," Jungkook laughs at the young man's grin.
Taehyung beams at you as you wave hello, then he steps aside and opens the door wider so you two can come in.
"Jungkook t-told me you w-wanted to take us out to eat?" You say as you set your purse on the dining table and pet Yin when he runs up to you, Pumpkin close behind.
"Yeah! You up for it?"
You nod excitedly, "Definitely!"
Taehyung gets smiley again and nods to himself as he pets Pumpkin when she starts trying to climb up his leg.
"You guys need to be dressed nicely," Tae says.
Jungkook laughs, "And by that you mean?"
"Mm, think cocktail attire."
You look at Jungkook with wide eyes.
_______________________________
"Damn Tae, when you said somewhere nice I wasn't expecting it to be this nice," Jungkook muses as the three of you are led to a booth in the back, a huge curtain covering it just like every other sitting area in this place.
You stare in wide-eyed awe at the ceiling where a bunch of diamond chandeliers are hanging around the restaurant.
"You underestimate me," Tae winks at Jungkook as he climbs into the booth the waiter gestures to.
You smile shyly when Jungkook gestures for you to get into the booth before him.
He looks really handsome in his black dress pants, white button-down, and fancy black jacket.
He isn't wearing a tie and it makes the look even more attractive for some reason. His dark hair is swept back from his forehead. Ever since you saw him earlier, your heart has not been able to rest.
And then there's Tae.
Who ever said there's no such thing as two hot best friends?
Tae looks dashing as ever in his white button-down and matching dark green pants and vest. His black hair is slightly curled and pushed so that only a few strands fall into his eyes.
Tae smirks at you as you climb into the booth and scoot to the middle.
The booth is the shape of a half-circle, so you're sitting on the inside with Tae to your left and Jungkook on your right.
The waiter hands you each a menu and asks if there is anything he can get you to drink.
Tae asks for water all around and a bottle of some kind of wine that you don't catch the name of.
He looks to both of you to see if you want any other drinks.
You and Jungkook both shake your heads, you're fine with water and wine.
The waiter bows and walks away.
"By the way, you look beautiful ___."
You smile at Tae's words, "Th-Thank you, Tae."
You send Jungkook a happy grin at the compliment and he smiles softly at you.
He had helped you pick out a dress at the store earlier. You really wanted to go shopping for one and insisted he help you.
You couldn't for the life of you find one that just felt right.
Then Jungkook grabbed one off a rack and held it up to you, "How about this one?" He had said, "You look beautiful in white."
You tried it on and that was that.
It is now the prettiest dress you own.
It's all white, beautiful soft cotton, and it goes down to just above your knees. There are strings on the sides, tied up your waist, and the sleeves are floppy until they come to your wrists, where they are snug. You think the lady at the store had called them lantern sleeves. The shoulders hang off of you, making an elegant yet simple look.
Jungkook had almost had a damn heart attack the second you stepped out of the dressing room.
Back at his house, he had done your hair for you after watching a few videos. It was in a messy braid with hair falling out of the sides.
It looked gorgeous.
You looked gorgeous.
It's during the fourth course that Tae suddenly says why he brought you guys out tonight.
The first course was a bunch of delicious hors d'oeuvres, then the second was soup, the third an appetizer, the fourth is a salad, and you know the fifth will be the main, and the sixth; is dessert.
It came about quite randomly, Tae saying something about how he can't believe he and Jungkook have been best friends for twenty years exactly.
"W-Wait, this is the d-day you guys became friends?"
You look at Jungkook, who is picking at his salad, a blush on his cheeks.
Tae nods happily, "Uh-huh! It's the day I told you about when we met at the park for the first time. Jungkook was four and I was six."
Your heart melts, "Oh m-my gosh, that's so sweet. It's y-your bestfriendiversary!"
Tae nods, a smirk spreading on his face as he kicks Jungkook's shin under the table, "Kookie was the one to start the idea of celebrating every year."
Jungkook scoffs, "I did not."
"You definitely did. Remember the first year anniversary when you had your mom buy me that purple scarf so you could give it to me?"
Jungkook turns positively crimson as he clears his throat, "You're making it sound weird Tae."
Tae just giggles with you at Jungkook's embarrassment.
"You didn't h-have to bring m-me," You say after a little while, "It's y-your day to celebrate."
Tae waves a hand dismissively, "Why on earth wouldn't we bring you? You're part of the squad now, girlie."
That makes your heart feel warm.
"Besides, if you put it like that, it makes it sound like Kook and I are dating."
Jungkook rolls his eyes at Tae's smirk, "You'd like that, wouldn't you, Tae?"
You giggle at Tae's hearty laugh.
Jungkook's best friend winks at you.
________________________________
It's late by the time the three of you get home.
You and Jungkook thank Tae immensely for the delicious meal and he waves you off nonchalantly.
"Any time, babe."
You see Jungkook's mouth twist in annoyance at Tae's pet name for you, but you know Tae means nothing by it. He calls Jungkook babe all the time. In fact, you think he might call everyone babe.
It's just his thing.
Jungkook pulls off his shoes and flops onto the couch with a groan.
"I think I might be in a food coma."
You sit on the couch next to him and slip into his side, curling your legs up to cuddle into him as much as you can, "M-Me too."
"I'm going to take a shower," Tae announces before going into the bathroom.
You hear the shower turn on as Jungkook puts an arm around you and pulls you impossibly closer to him.
"You're not feeling sick, right?"
He knows you tend to get so excited about food that you eat too much, and your tummy hurts a lot afterward.
You shake your head with a smile, "No."
"Good."
You feel a kiss press against the crown of your head.
A few minutes pass in silence.
Then Jungkook hears your small voice.
"W-What happened to you and T-Tae?"
"What do you mean?"
"If y-you've been friends f-for so long, why is it s-so tense between you t-two?"
Jungkook sighs but doesn't say anything.
You think he isn't going to answer after a minute passes by.
"Sorry, I sh-shouldn't-"
"You were right."
"Huh?"
"You were right, months ago. When you guessed what the worst thing I've ever done is."
You think hard, trying to remember what you had said.
Oh.
Wait.
You had guessed that he pressured someone into something, and he said you were wrong.
"You-...It w-was Tae? Th-That you pressured?" You whisper.
You hear him swallow, then his voice comes out a bit weak, "Yeah."
"Oh."
You can tell Jungkook doesn't want to talk about it.
But he does anyway.
"I was in a bad situation when I was young. I was fourteen at the time and Tae was going to be sixteen in a few months."
You sit there quietly, letting him go at his own pace.
"I uh-" Jungkook swallows, "Yeah, I needed money and I did something stupid. Tae did what I couldn't, because I was weak. He paid for it after that. He's still paying for it, because of me."
"W-What do you mean?"
"He's not the same. He was never the same after that day. And it was all my fault," His voice breaks a little at the end of his sentence.
You wrap your arms around his waist and hug him tightly, "You w-were just a little b-boy."
Jungkook swallows thickly.
You look up at his solemn face, reaching a hand out to gently run your fingers down his cheek, "I'm s-sorry those l-little boys had to suffer so m-much."
You see his eyes glistening with unshed tears at your words.
He turns his head to look at you, a sad smile on his face as he blinks the tears away.
"How did I get so lucky?"
"Mm?" You make a sound of confusion.
"To have you," Jungkook answers your unspoken question, "I've never done anything to deserve you."
You smile and cuddle into his side even more, "I d-don't think anyone des-deserves anything, really."
"What do you mean by that?"
"I m-mean, some p-people that are wicked and horrid, get good th-things they don't deserve. And kind-hearted p-p-people that only live for others, ne-never get anything. I th-think maybe it doesn't h-have to do with de-deserving things. I think it's l-like this," You shift a little and Jungkook runs his hand up and down your arm comfortingly, listening intently, "Perhaps we g-get what w-we need to be our b-best selves. But along the way, s-some people t-take, they aren't g-given it."
"And what do you need, ____?"
"I n-need you," You whisper.
Jungkook feels his heart leap to his throat.
You feel his hand gently hold the back of your head as he pulls you into his chest, "I need you too, ____."
You two stay there for a while until Tae comes out of the shower and whines that you're using his sleeping space and that he will lay across your laps in a moment if you don't move.
You move to the bed as Jungkook goes to take a shower.
-
"Are you in love with him?"
You startle at Tae's sudden question, your head flipping to the side to see if the door to the bathroom is closed.
It is, and the shower is still running.
"W-What?"
You look down at Tae as he sits up on an elbow.
"Come 'ere," He mumbles.
You crawl to the bottom of the bed and lay on your stomach, your chin in your hands as Tae leans closer off the couch.
"Are you in love with him?" He asks again, quieter this time.
You gulp, then you slowly nod your head, your cheeks aflame.
Tae's boxy smile makes an appearance at your answer.
"Is he-"
You see Tae watching you expectantly, so you finish your question, "Is h-he in love with m-me?"
Tae stares into your eyes for a moment, then he whispers, "I think maybe you should ask him that."
You nod.
Good point.
-
Jungkook comes out of the bathroom to see you laying on your stomach at the foot of the bed, your top half practically hanging off the bed and your legs kicking behind you as you giggle with Tae. Pumpkin is lying beside you, and Yin is stretched out across the back of your thighs, dead asleep. Jungkook's sight travels up your body.
Your nightgown has ridden up to just below your bottom.
The second he notices this, he jerks his gaze away, quick as a dart.
His cheeks burn as he makes his way over to you and Tae, the two of you whispering like a couple of schoolgirls during a sleepover as they talk about some cute guy in school.
What were you talking about anyway?
When Jungkook gets close enough to hear, Tae spots him and immediately shuts his trap.
You see Tae's reaction and turn your head to see Jungkook looking at the two of you curiously. You don't even have a moment to wonder if he heard what you were saying, you're too busy being entranced by his natural beauty.
His dark wet hair is falling into his eyes, a few droplets of water are still clinging to his neck, and his floppy white t-shirt is hanging a bit off his shoulders.
Your throat and mouth are suddenly very dry.
"What were you two gossiping about?" Jungkook asks accusingly, sounding like a sulky kid that was left out of a special secret.
"Nothing," Tae says suspiciously, sending you a quick smile before turning his back on the two of you and cuddling under the covers, ready to sleep on his make-shift bed.
That leaves you to deal with Jungkook's accusatory gaze on your own.
"Uh, n-nothing?" You try, your voice small.
Jungkook frowns.
You sit up, Yin making a mew of indignation at being tossed from his cozy spot on your squishy thighs.
"R-Really, you wo-wouldn't be interested."
"Try me."
You crawl up to your place and slip under the covers, pulling them up to your chin, "R-Really."
Jungkook huffs an annoyed breath and walks over to turn the light out.
A moment later, you feel the bed dip as he gets into the right side.
You hold your breath, hoping he'll hold you like he did the first night you were here. He hasn't since, but you think it's just because he's embarrassed about Tae being here.
A few minutes pass by and you don't feel him come any closer to you.
You pout to yourself.
Is he mad at you?
Surely he knows that you and Tae weren't doing anything unreasonable?
Honestly, Tae had asked you to tell him about the two of you and what you saw in Jungkook. You told him about the past months and he shared some silly childhood stories about Jungkook in return. Tae even got you to tell him about your first kiss with Jungkook. He squealed in excitement for you, much to your surprise.
You guess Jungkook really doesn't tell him much.
It makes you sad for Tae. He just wants to be involved in his best friend's life.
And you didn't want to tell Jungkook that you were talking about how cute he is.
That would be humiliating.
For everyone involved.
Well, except for Taehyung.
He would find it hilarious.
You know that's why he didn't say anything to Kook.
It was for your sake.
You let out a little sigh.
You're facing Jungkook in the dark, on your right side. You can't tell if he's facing you though, there isn't enough light to see.
Then you hear him whisper, "Why are you still awake?"
"I c-can't sleep when you're m-mad at me," You whisper back.
You hear him sigh.
"I'm not mad at you."
"At T-Tae?"
"No."
"Who are y-you mad at?"
"Myself."
You frown.
"W-Why?"
"Don't worry about it. Go to sleep, ____, you've had a long day."
A few minutes pass with no sound save for the soft breathing in the dark room.
"I c-can't sleep," You suddenly whisper again.
You hear Jungkook shift a little, "Why not?" He asks, and you can hear the grogginess in his voice. He must be half-asleep.
"I'm lonely," You whisper.
Jungkook rubs his eyes before opening them and seeing you looking at your fingers. The light of the moon is helping his eyes to adjust now.
He smiles tiredly, "Come here," He mumbles.
A smile spreads on your face and you scoot until you feel his arm wrap around you and he pulls you into his chest.
"Better?" He asks quietly.
"Mhm," You squeak.
Jungkook buries his nose into your hair as he cards his fingers through it, "Go to sleep."
You drift off not too long after he whispers those words to you.
____________________________
"Joon hyung called me."
Jungkook looks up from the video on his phone, "What? Why didn't he call me?"
Tae shrugs, "I don't know, he said he tried but you weren't answering."
What the hell? He's had his phone all morning and it hasn't gone off once.
Jungkook glances at the front door.
You had gone with Sana to the store for something, you wouldn't say what though.
But Tae seemed to think he knew what was up.
"Well, what did he say? Should I call him?"
"Nah, he's busy the rest of the day, won't answer anyway. But he told me to tell you that we should give them the money and then see what happens. Because he's done everything, but it seems legit. They won't even hire another hitman when he tried to tell them he had someone for them and he heard they needed someone."
"What the hell?"
"Yeah, they said they no longer needed a hit done."
"So you think Mina was telling the truth?"
Tae shrugs, "I don't trust her as far as I could throw her, but Namjoon seems to think that they're being serious. He said to still be careful though, it could be a trap."
"Huh..." Jungkook sits there for a minute.
"So, we're giving them the money tomorrow?" Tae asks, looking at Jungkook closely.
Jungkook nods, "That's the plan."
"You think that's all they cared about?"
"No, but we don't really have a choice right now...Did hyung not say who it was?"
Tae shakes his head, "No, he said he spoke to the guy's middle man. But that he is still trying to figure it out. Said it shouldn't take more than a week."
Jungkook takes a few deep breaths.
He's hoping beyond all hope that everything settles down.
Of course, that's only a fool's hope.
__________________________
"I'm b-back~"
Jungkook smiles as you and Sana come through the front door.
"Hey, how was the store?"
"Good!" You say happily, holding something behind your back.
Jungkook looks at you suspiciously, "What're you hiding?" He asks playfully.
"N-Nothing~"
Sana laughs and shakes her finger at Jungkook, "You'll do well not to spoil the surprise, boy."
He laughs along and nods, "Ok, fine, I won't ask. When do I get to see it though?"
"Mmm, Wednesday!" You say.
"Very specific," Jungkook chuckles.
Then Tae comes out of the bathroom and you and Sana burst into laughter.
Taehyung scowls and points at Jungkook, "He did it to me. He's been watching videos all day I tell you, insisted I help him practice."
Tae's beautiful locks are in tiny ponytails and braids around his head.
Sana wipes her mirthful tears away, "What on earth are you practicing for?"
Jungkook is about to answer when Tae points right at you.
"He wants to do her hair for her every day-"
"Tae, shut up-" Jungkook snaps.
"-because he's a simp-"
Jungkook flinches at Tae and the young man shuts up, but there's still a glint of mischief in his eyes.
Sana and you watch the exchange with contained giggles.
Your heart is melting in your chest at Tae's words.
Jungkook wants to do your hair for you?
It seemed like he enjoyed himself the few times he's done it, but you didn't know he liked it that much.
You catch Jungkook's eye and smile at him and he smiles back sheepishly.
Tae just takes the hair ties out as he smirks, always the one to rile Jungkook up.
"Well, I'm gonna get back to Hobi, have fun, you guys!"
You all call goodbye to Sana as she heads out.
"So, you gonna let me see?" Tae asks the second the door shuts.
Jungkook scoffs, "She wouldn't let me see, what makes you think she'll let you?"
Tae sneers at him, "Because we're best friends now, dumbass."
You shake your finger at the oldest, "Don't y-you be mean, s-say sorry."
Tae grumbles under his breath for a second, then he reluctantly mutters, "Sorry."
Jungkook looks smug as he regards Tae.
You then take a turn shaking a finger at Jungkook, "And d-don't you be smug! He a-apologized. Y-You've done pl-plenty to him every day to ask h-his forgiveness too."
Jungkook's smile wipes away and he looks down.
"Sorry, Tae. I forgive you."
"It's alright," Tae says as he runs his hands through his hair, trying to fix it up.
You smile at the two of them; they're like a couple of toddlers, always bickering.
That's when there's a ringing sound and you see Jungkook stiffen.
He pulls a phone out of his pocket, but it isn't his regular phone.
He looks at it for a second, then he excuses himself before walking out into the hall.
You look after him worriedly.
"He's alright," Tae says, his eyes watching your expression carefully.
You nod absentmindedly.
"So, are you gonna show me?"
You drag your eyes from the door and over to Tae's excited expression.
"Oh! Y-Yeah!" You take your hand out from behind your back to reveal a little bag.
Tae comes over and peers inside to see purple, blue, yellow, and black string things, and a little box.
"Ohhh yessss, so you are going with the bracelet idea?"
You nod happily.
"But what are the purple and blue for?" Tae asks.
"Oh, th-those are for something e-else," You close the bag quickly.
"Oh. Well, can I help you?"
"Of c-course!" You beam.
_________________
When Jungkook comes back in, he again sees you and Tae huddled together and whispering, just like the other night, but this time you're on the other side of the bed, so he can only see the top of Tae's head.
He walks over to see you both looking into a bag.
"So you did show him."
You and Tae flinch and look up guiltily.
"Oh come on JK, can't you take a hint?" Tae asks in exasperation at Jungkook's hurt look.
Jungkook shakes his head.
Taehyung rolls his eyes at his best friend, "Clearly."
"It's a s-s-surprise for you," You say quietly, the last thing you want is for him to feel left out and hurt, that was never the intention.
"Oh," Jungkook looks down in embarrassment, "Sorry, I-"
"You don't have to be sorry," Tae says as he stands up, "We get it. We should've been more careful about being sure you wouldn't walk in on us talking about it."
It's quiet for a minute, then you ask, "Is e-everything okay?"
Jungkook realizes you're referring to the phone call, "Oh, yeah. Just something with work."
"Ok."
Tae watches almost painfully as you look at Jungkook with heart eyes even as he avoids your gaze.
Damn it, Jungkook.
Just tell her already.
The last thing Tae wants is for Jungkook to lose you.
It would break the boy beyond repair.
"Jungkook, can I speak to you for a second please?"
Jungkook nods and follows Tae out into the hall.
As soon as the door shuts, Tae whirls on him.
"If you don't do it, then I fucking will. And believe me, kid, it's gonna hurt a hell of a lot more coming from me."
"Why do you care so much?" Jungkook asks, exasperated.
"Because as much as you like to think it's a lie, I care about you Jungkook. If you don't fix this now, there's going to be nothing left to fix."
"Ok, I'll tell her-"
Tae gestures to the door.
"-after we deliver the money."
Taehyung takes a deep breath in through his nose and blows it out through his mouth slowly.
"What?" Jungkook asks.
"You enrage me."
"Good," Jungkook moves past Tae to reach for the door, but he stops when he feels a hand on his arm.
"What was the phone call?"
"A hit."
"Are you going to do it?"
"Yes."
"I thought you said-"
Jungkook turns to him, anger flashing in his eyes, "I know what I said. But if I'm returning that money tomorrow, I have barely anything left for her next treatment."
"Jungkook..."
"What?" He snaps.
"I know. I understand, believe me. But maybe we can find another way? I don't think your mom would be happy about this-"
"I never thought she would be," Jungkook seethes, "I never wanted this. But it's my life now, whether or not you or I or ____ likes it."
Tae looks at him in surprise, "You-..."
They stare at each other for a second.
"You wouldn't even stop for ____?"
Jungkook doesn't break his gaze as he says, unflinching, "Why would I let my mother die for anyone?"
"Jungkook-"
Tae gets cut off at the sound of the door slamming shut in his face.
_________________________
A little later, Jungkook is gone, saying that he needed to run a quick errand.
So you and Tae are alone in the apartment.
You decide to play a board game together, and Tae ends up winning twice, you once.
Tae is just laughing in your face at his second victory when there's a knock on the door.
You're closer, so you get up to answer it.
Looking through the peephole, you see a tall handsome man with dark hair and wide shoulders; he looks kind of familiar.
Then it hits you.
Ah, it's the guy that you met at Hobi's when you went there for dinner a while ago!
You open the door and his eyes widen in surprise when he sees you.
"Oh, hi."
"Hi," You beam.
"I don't know if you remember me, I'm Seokjin," He holds a hand out.
You take it, "I d-do! I'm ____."
"Ah yes, it's coming back to me now."
Tae comes up behind you and Seokjin glances at him.
"Were you looking for Jungkook?" The young man behind you asks, his presence strong and a good sense of security.
"Yes, is he home?"
"Afraid not," Tae says, "You just missed him."
"Oh, well darn. I wanted to ask him over for dinner sometime since we had talked about it before."
"Oh, w-well we'll l-let him know," You say with a kind smile.
"I appreciate that," Seokjin hands you a card, "Here's my number."
"P-Perfect."
"Well, have a good day ____," Then he looks at Tae and nods to him, "Taehyung."
Then he's gone.
You shut the door.
"How did he know my name?" Tae asks suspiciously.
"M-Maybe he has a g-good memory."
"Huh."
You both brush off the incident and go back to your games.
___________________________
"W-Where are you going?" You ask timidly.
It's later that night and Jungkook is getting his shoes on when he would usually be taking a shower or brushing his teeth before bed.
"I just have something I need to do."
You look over at Tae from where you sit curled up in bed, your book in your hands.
Tae is sitting on the couch, stone-faced as he stares at his phone.
"Is everyth-thing-"
"It's fine."
Jungkook straightens up and sends you a small smile before grabbing his keys, wallet, phone, and black face mask.
Then he's gone.
It's dead silent for a good three minutes.
Then you find your voice, "W-What's going on with h-him?"
Tae turns his screen off and sighs, "He's just being hormonal, don't worry about it."
You close your book, "Is h-he going to be home to-tonight?"
Tae nods, "Yeah, he should be, just not until late. Don't wait up for him."
You sigh and cuddle down into the covers as the two cats climb onto you to get comfy.
_______________________
Jungkook swallows, staring at the corpse of the middle-aged man he just shot in the head, killing him instantly.
He swiftly takes out his work phone, snaps a pic, then sends it to the number that called him earlier.
A few minutes later, the number calls him.
Jungkook answers it and the man speaks immediately, "I appreciate you getting this done so quickly. My men will take care of the body."
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Hm?"
"Why didn't you just have your men kill him?"
It's quiet for a second.
"Do you not want the money?"
"I do."
"Then go to the post office next to that small coffee shop, you know the one?"
"Yes."
"There's a row of potted plants. The key to P.O. box 23 is in the third pot. After you get it, put the key back."
Jungkook sighs, then he hangs up.
He doesn't even glance back at the dead body as he makes his way out and to his car.
The drive to the post office is about half an hour since he needs to get back into town.
______________
Jungkook looks around before digging into the third pot and almost instantly finding the key. He walks inside the dark building, squinting when the automatic lights turn on at his presence.
He finds box 23 and opens it to find a manila envelope that looks a bit bunchy.
Jungkook grabs it and locks the box up again.
After leaving the key where it was, Jungkook goes back to his car and locks the doors the second he gets in.
He has enough strength to wait until he's in his parking lot before opening it up and counting the money.
Thank god.
There's just enough to cover her next treatment even without the money he'll be returning tomorrow.
Jungkook leans his head on the seat, his eyes closed as he breathes deeply.
"Fuck."
How has everything become so messed up?
____________________________
Your eyes squint open at the sound of the door unlocking and creaking open.
Jungkook steps in, his black cap now in his hand and his hair all mussed up as if he'd been running his fingers through it repeatedly. The few top buttons of his white button-down are undone.
Your brows furrow in confusion when you see something red on the front of his white shirt.
It looks almost like he opened a ketchup packet and it squirt on the front of his clean clothes.
When he lifts his head and looks towards the bed, you close your eyes, hoping he thinks that you're just asleep.
It must have worked because you hear his gentle footfalls, then the bathroom door shuts softly.
You look over at the couch to see Tae sleeping peacefully, one arm clutching a couch pillow and the other hanging off the side of the couch.
Then you look at the digital clock on Jungkook's nightstand.
3:07
It's already three in the morning?
What was he doing out so late at night?
The sink in the bathroom turns off and you quickly close your eyes again and even out your breathing.
The door opens almost silently, and you hear Jungkook walk out.
A moment later, you feel a soft kiss on your forehead and his fingers brushing the hair from your eyes.
"I'm sorry,  ____."
He whispers it so softly you almost don't catch it.
But you do.
You fight the urge to open your eyes and ask him what he's talking about.
Why is he sorry? What did he do?
Jungkook walks around the bed and you feel it dip when he gets in on his side.
He doesn't touch you, he doesn't get any closer at all.
Your heart stutters in your chest when thoughts start swarming.
Was he...
No, Tae said he would never.
You know he would never be playing you and seeing someone else while leading you on.
Your mind flashes back to when he came in the door, his shirt unbuttoned at the top and his hair messed up.
You swallow thickly.
"I'm sorry, ____."
What did you do, Jungkook?
_________________________
"I'll see you later."
You give Jungkook a half-hearted smile at his words and get out of the car, slipping your bag over your shoulder.
You shut the car door without a word, stand there for a second, then you walk up the steps and into the school, not looking back once.
Jungkook watches you worriedly.
You had been practically silent the entire morning, and he thought perhaps you were just sleepy.
But you didn't eat breakfast, you didn't beam at him when he gave you your lunch, and you refused his offer to do your hair.
Now you leave without saying goodbye and not turning back to wave even once?
Something's wrong.
But he can't imagine what it might be.
You seemed fine last night before bed.
Are you on your period?
No, you told him what your regular days were and it's still another two weeks until it should start.
But, you did say it could change sometimes...
Jungkook sees the school door shut behind you and it feels almost like your heart closing him off right along with it.

"What happened?"
Jungkook sighs.
He knew Tae would interrogate him the second they were alone.
"I don't know."
"The fuck you mean you don't know? You did something."
"Why me? Did you do something to piss her off?"
"See, that's your problem."
"What?" Jungkook growls.
"She isn't pissed off, she's hurt. You're such a fucking dumbass. Do you know literally nothing?"
Jungkook frowns, realizing Tae is right.
Shit, what's wrong with him?
"Look, you're right."
...
"I am?"
"Yeah, but that doesn't mean you can rub it in my face. You're right about this, doesn't mean you're right about everything."
"So what are you going to do to fix it?"
"I don't know, I don't even know what I did to hurt her!"
Tae looks at Jungkook's hopeless expression and finds it in himself to take pity on the boy.
"Ok, let's go over it. When did you last speak to her?"
"Before I left last night. Do you think she was mad that I left?"
Tae shakes his head, "No, she wasn't upset when you left, just a bit worried. She wasn't like this though."
Jungkook nods, thinking hard.
"And...what happened this morning?"
"Nothing that I know of. I woke up to her alarm and got up to make breakfast while she was in the bathroom. When she came out, she said she wasn't hungry and was acting weird."
"Hm."
Jungkook pushes his fists into his closed eyes, groaning.
"I'll have to see if we can talk after she gets off. For now, we need to worry about delivering that money."
"Are you going to do it?"
Jungkook nods.
Tae hands him the phone with the texts from Mina saying where the building is that he needs to meet her at.
"Did she ever say who was going to be there to collect the money?"
"Didn't say if there would be anyone but her, but I'm sure she'll have some goons hiding out in case you decide to jump her."
Jungkook nods.
"I'm going with you by the way."
_____________________________
It's almost noon when Mina steps out from around a corner of the huge dilapidated hall of the abandoned building she told him to meet her at.
Jungkook is staring at her, hatred seeping off of him in what feels almost like tangible waves.
"I wasn't sure if you'd actually come," Mina says, refusing to flinch at the look he's giving her.
"Why wouldn't I?"
"Because you aren't stupid."
Jungkook keeps his gaze level with hers.
"Neither are you. Where are your men?"
"It's just me."
A twisted smirk spreads on Jungkook's face.
"I thought we just agreed neither of us is stupid."
"We did. And I don't plan on telling unless you plan on telling me where your little boyfriend is hiding."
"I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about."
"Sure you don't. Where's the money, Jungkook?"
"Selling your best friend for this measly amount of money?" Jungkook lifts up two envelopes bursting at the seams, "You're a keeper."
Mina scowls at him.
"I told you, it wasn't me that set the hit-"
"Does it look like I give a single fuck?" Jungkook throws the money at her feet.
She doesn't bend to grab it.
Not yet.
"You can count it, it's all there."
"I will- later. He knows where you are if it's short a single bill."
"I'm sure he does."
They stare at each other for a moment.
"Are you going to tell ____?" Mina suddenly asks.
"Tell me," Jungkook doesn't look away, "What did he promise you for her blood?"
Mina bites her lip.
"I-..."
Jungkook scoffs at her loss for words, "Cat got your tongue?"
It's dead silent.
"I know who your boss is," Jungkook says, watching her reaction.
Her eyes fly up to his.
"I don't know his name. But I figured it out."
She bites the inside of her cheek, keeping quiet.
"You know, I understand hating someone because they wronged you. But what did she ever do to you? Enlighten me. Because right now I'm trying to figure out why someone would conspire with the man that raped her best friend then tried to kill her."
It's like someone just punched Mina in the stomach the way the air is knocked from her lungs.
Her eyes instantly water as she looks at Jungkook.
"W-What?"
He looks at her, emotionless.
"He-...he what?"
"He raped her. He took her innocence and then tried to take her life."
"But-...but he never said-"
Jungkook laughs bitterly.
"Oh, he never said he raped her? I guess it can't be true then. Enjoy your money, you waste of fucking space."
Jungkook turns on his heel and walks away, the sound of his shoes hitting the cement floors are the only thing Mina hears as her entire world comes crashing down around her and she falls to her knees.

"Did I do something, ____?"
You sigh quietly.
It was inevitable.
You knew he was going to ask you what was going on with you.
You shake your head, "No, I j-just don't feel g-good."
"What's wrong?"
You look out the window at the trees blurring by.
"I feel k-kind of sick."
Not a lie, just not the whole truth.
"Oh. Is there something I can do to help you?"
You shake your head.
Jungkook stops at a red light and you feel him touch your forehead with his hand, feeling to see if you're hot.
The gesture makes you think of last night and a wave of nausea goes through you.
Without thinking, you jerk away.
Jungkook pulls his hand back and frowns, looking a bit hurt.
"You feel kind of warm," He says quietly.
"I'm f-fine."
Jungkook turns back to the road as the light turns green.
The rest of the ride home is silent.
"I w-want to go home," You say, quietly.
"We are, we'll be there in less than five minutes-"
"No. M-My home."
Jungkook looks at you for a second before looking back at the road, "Why? I thought-"
"I j-just wanna go h-home."
"Ok...uh, I can pack some stuff-"
"I'll c-call Jimin. He c-can stay with me."
Jungkook feels a punch to the gut at your words.
"Ok."
__________________________
"Is everything okay, ____?"
You fight the tears trying to escape, "F-Fine, can you pl-please just stay at m-my place for a bit?"
"Of course. I just want to make sure you're alright. Nothing happened with Jungkook? You don't need me to go kung fu on his ass?"
You laugh tearfully, "N-Not yet, b-but I'll let y-you know."
Jimin agrees to pick you up in fifteen minutes so you can get all your stuff together.
It's the most awkward fifteen minutes of your life as you pack everything of yours and Pumpkin's. You spend the rest of the time petting Yin as you wait for Jimin.
Tae and Jungkook don't say anything either, but you can tell they want to.
Especially Tae.
He looks kind of like a ticking time bomb; glaring at Jungkook every once in a while, when he passes by.
Jungkook just looks kind of lost and hurt, like a kicked puppy.
It makes your heart hurt.
But you just don't want to be here right now, it makes you physically ill to even think about staying here another day.
Finally, Jimin texts you that he's here.
Tae and Jungkook help you carry everything downstairs and put it into Jimin's trunk.
You climb into the front seat after saying quiet goodbyes to both of them.
The second Jimin shuts his door and puts the car in gear, pulling out carefully, he speaks up.
"Something happened."
You're about to protest but he shakes his head.
"Don't lie to me. You can keep it to yourself, that's fine. But don't tell me everything is fine when it clearly isn't."
You open your mouth, then close it again, then open it again only to burst into tears.
Jimin says nothing, he just lets you cry.
You end up rambling about everything that happened and what happened last night and how it seemed a lot like he had hooked up with someone.
Jimin listens quietly the whole ride home, only making sounds of acknowledgment every once in a while.
By the time you're done with the recap, Jimin is pulling into your parking lot.
He parks the car and turns to you, "Let's get this stuff upstairs and talk up there."
You nod tearfully.
Jimin gets most of it, and you help as you can.
When you're finally inside, with Pumpkin and all your stuff, Jimin has you sit on the couch.
"What you said sounds bad, I'm not gonna lie. It sounds a lot like what you feared."
Your lip quivers.
"But that doesn't mean it's what happened. How many times has it seemed like one thing and turned out to be something completely different?"
He has a point.
"You are never, ever going to know the truth until you ask him. I know it's easier to run away and hide, believe me, I know. But it'll never stop haunting you until you call him out and find out the truth."
You nod, "I g-guess you're right."
"Of course I'm right," Jimin winks at you.
You laugh and wipe your tears, "I sh-should text J-Jungkook, shouldn't I?"
"I think that would probably be the best idea."
"I'm j-just so scared."
"Why are you scared?"
"B-Because I've never felt this w-way before."
Jimin smiles as you mess with your fingers, "I th-think I'm in love with him."
"You think?"
You swallow thickly, "I am."
"I think he's in love with you too, ____."
You blush profusely at his words.
"W-Will you st-still stay with me?"
"We'll see. If Jungkook explains everything and all is well, I think he would like to be here with you. If things don't go as planned, you won't be able to get rid of me."
You smile gratefully at him as you pull out your phone and text Jungkook, asking him if he could come and talk at your place.
His reply comes almost instantly as if he was sitting with your chat open, waiting for you to message.
Jungkook: I'll be there in ten minutes
You sigh and try to pull yourself together.
Jimin is your wingman as he cleans up your face and fans you with a magazine, keeping you calm.
A few minutes before Jungkook gets here, Mina texts you.
You look at it in surprise.
Mina: hey, can we please talk
You reply that you would like that, and ask if you can meet tomorrow.
Mina agrees and says she'll meet you at your apartment.
There's a knock on the door a few minutes later and Jimin keeps telling you to pull it together because you a bad bitch no matter what happens.
You repeat it to yourself as you go to open the door.
Jungkook is standing there, a hesitant smile on his face.
You let him in and Jimin says he's going to go out for a bit and to let him know when he's needed again.
The door shuts behind him and you're alone with Jungkook.
You swallow the lump in your throat and gesture at the couch.
He sits down and watches as you cross the room to sit on the far end of the couch, away from him.
It hurts, but he says nothing.
"L-Last night," You say suddenly.
You don't want to beat around the bush anymore.
You're tired.
Tired of misunderstandings, of no communication, of lies.
Jungkook looks at you expectantly, listening intently.
"I w-was awake when you c-came home."
You see Jungkook's face blanch a little, but he doesn't flinch.
"Y-You looked a l-little roughed up, a-and-...and you sa-said you were sorry."
Jungkook nods slowly.
You sigh and pull it together.
Jimin says you're a bad bitch no matter what.
"D-Did you sleep w-with someone la-last night?"
Please say no.
Please say no.
I'm not a bad bitch, I'll break if you say yes.
Please say no.
Please say no.
"No."
Oh, thank heavens.
Jungkook can see the relief flood through you as you slump into the couch.
"I know it looked bad," Jungkook says sadly, "But please believe me when I say I would never do that to you."
You nod.
"I promise I'll tell you what happened, just- just give me a few days, yeah?"
You nod again, it's only fair to let him prepare himself.
"Just know that it has nothing to do with you or us or another girl. That will never happen, I promise."
"Ok," You say in a small voice.
"Ok," Jungkook smiles at you, "Do you feel better?"
"Mhm."
"Will you sit next to me?" Jungkook asks with a small smile.
You finally break into a smile as you crawl across the couch to sit next to him.
"Thank you for telling me how you were feeling," Jungkook whispers into your hair as he pulls you close.
"I'm t-tired Jungkook."
"Did you not sleep last night?"
"I just- I'm tired of us n-n-not communicating."
Jungkook tries to stay as calm internally as he is externally.
"Me too."
"I'll w-wait for you, J-Jungkook, as long as it t-takes."
Fuck.
It's silent for a bit as you two both process things in your minds.
Then you speak up again, "Oh, M-Mina is coming to t-talk tomorrow."
"She is?"
"Mhm, I w-wanted to tell you s-so you know I'm n-not keeping any more se-secrets."
"Oh..."
Fuck.
"Well, thank you. Do you think it's a good idea?"
"I'm o-okay, besides, y-you'll be here with me."
Jungkook pulls away to look at you, "You want me to stay?"
You look up at him with big puppy eyes, "I d-do if you want to."
"I'll ask Tae to bring some of my stuff," Jungkook says with a chuckle.
"B-But how? Y-You have the car."
"Oh, no I actually brought my motorcycle."
You sit up, your hands on his chest as you look at him in bewilderment, "Y-You weren't lying a-about the motorcycle??"
Jungkook laughs, his chest moving under your hands, "No, of course not. You thought I made that up?"
You nod, your eyes huge.
Jungkook pulls you into his chest with a laugh, "You're too cute."
You smile and cuddle into him.
You can't wait to make the bracelet and give it to him later this week when you confess that you love him.

"Here's your stuff, your highness."
You laugh at Tae's irked expression as he hands Jungkook a black backpack.
"Thanks."
"So you two made up?" Tae asks, looking between the two of you.
You nod, "It w-was just a misunderst-standing."
Tae smiles, "I'm glad."
When Jungkook turns to put his stuff down, Tae raises his brows at you in question.
You nod happily.
The plan is still on.
He winks at you right before Jungkook turns back, "Do you wanna come inside?" He asks with a laugh.
Tae comes in with a sheepish grin.
Jimin ends up coming back later and the four of you have dinner together, hanging out until the late hours of the night.

"Y-You're gonna sl-sleep on the couch?" You ask with a frown when you see Jungkook getting ready to sleep in the living room.
"Oh," Jungkook looks back at you, "I thought maybe it would be best. For now."
"Oh, uh- ok."
________________________
The next day you wake up in your bed, groggy and disoriented.
Then you remember that Jungkook is here.
You stumble out of bed and out into the living room to see Jungkook sitting on the couch, scrolling on his phone, his hair a bit messed up from his sleep.
It makes your heart melt.
"G-Good morning, Kook."
Jungkook turns to see you standing there cutely, in nothing but a giant t-shirt that goes down to your knees.
Your eyes are sleepy and your hair is a tangle of knots.
"Good morning," He says softly and you can see the fondness in his eyes.
Jungkook stands up and walks over to you, reaching a hand out to gently push your hair out of your face.
Your heart leaps in your chest when he runs his fingers down your cheek, then cups it sweetly.
"Did you sleep well?" He asks quietly.
"Mhm," You smile at him and he feels an aching tug in his chest.
Tell her, you idiot.
"Are y-you hungry?" You ask, looking at him with the biggest heart eyes he's ever seen.
He nods, "Should we make some breakfast?"
-
After breakfast, you get dressed for work and come back out to the living room.
Jungkook laughs lightly when he sees your bird nest hair.
"Come here."
You walk over to him, standing between his legs where he is sitting on the couch.
"Can you get me a hairbrush and some hair ties?"
You nod and go to find them while Jungkook looks up a video he saw the other day.
When you come back, Jungkook places a pillow on the ground between his spread legs, just like the other day. You sit on it and cuddle up to his thigh while he brushes your hair gently.
Once he's finally gotten all the tangles out, he puts your hair into two messy half space buns, so that the rest of your hair falls free.
It's so cute.
"Do you have any hair accessories?"
You nod and you're about to get up when he puts a gentle hand on your shoulder to keep you where you are, "I'll get them, where are they?"
"In m-my bathroom, w-white container, third drawer fr-from the top."
Jungkook hurries to the back and easily finds what he was looking for.
There are lots of things to pick from, but he decides to go with two little pink bows.
He comes back out and kneels in front of you, carefully clipping a bow onto the front of each bun.
He sits back to look at his work with satisfaction.
You're so cute it really might actually stop his heart.
"I think I'm getting better," He muses as he moves a tiny hair that was out of place.
Your beaming smile does no good to his already frantic heart.
_______________________
During your break, while the kids are out at lunch and recess, you make the bracelets.
They're simple; braided yellow and black thread.
But they are just what you had hoped for.
You place the larger bracelet into the little box you got the other day, then you wrap it with a ribbon.
You're so excited you can hardly contain it.
Jungkook is gonna be so happy!
You're sure he feels the same way.
After tomorrow, you can officially date because neither of you will be too shy to actually admit it even though you're practically dating already.
You jump up and down in your seat, unable to contain the excitement.
After all those months, you're finally gonna get to say the three little words that mean so much, and hopefully, hear them back.
_______________________
"Thank you...for meeting with me."
You look at Mina with a gentle smile, making her heart hurt more than she ever thought it could.
"I d-don't know what's wrong, b-but I hope you know I l-love you."
Mina's heart breaks a little more with each word coming from your mouth.
"I don't deserve it."
"M-Mina-"
She looks up at you, finally looking into your eyes, "It's true. I've been the worst best friend to ever exist, and I hope that someday you can forgive me."
"M-Mina, of course, I-"
"No, just-...you don't have to forgive me now, I actually wish you wouldn't. You don't even know everything."
"Y-You mean about tr-trying to keep Jungkook from me?"
Mina swallows thickly, "And other things."
Your tummy feels weird.
"W-What other things?"
She shifts uncomfortably on the couch.
"____, I-"
Just then the front door opens and Jungkook walks through with a few bags.
He freezes when he sees the two of you on the couch.
"Oh...sorry-"
"D-Don't worry, come in."
You giggle as he slowly shuts the door and places the extra key you gave him on the counter along with the bags.
"You c-can keep it," You call to him, "P-Put it on your keyr-ring, it's not like I n-need it."
Jungkook nods and puts the key on his own keyring, his eyes watching Mina warily.
"Jungkook."
You and Jungkook look at Mina, confused.
"Can I speak to you for a minute, please?"
You wait patiently as the two of them step out onto the front porch.
You assume she's apologizing for always being so mean to him. Hopefully, things can start to look up for you all now.
-
"It's over."
"Is it?" Jungkook looks at her with zero emotion.
"Yes."
It's silent for a minute.
"He promised he wouldn't do anything."
"Good for him."
"Dae."
Jungkook squints at her, "What?"
"His name is Choi Dae."
"Why are you telling me this?"
Mina looks at him, a few tears slipping out, "Because I'm not on his side anymore. I never knew what exactly had happened. That's no excuse and I won't try to make ____ see anything but the truth. I fucked up, and I lost the person I love the most, because of someone I thought I loved more."
Jungkook doesn't say anything.
"I'm going to turn myself in."
That makes him look at her.
"But not until you guys can get him behind bars too. I don't trust the police to do their job, but I know you and Judicium can do it."
"Is this some sort of trap?"
Mina shakes her head, "It isn't, but I don't blame you for thinking it is."
"How am I supposed to trust you?"
"You can't. Nothing I say is ever going to earn your trust. I guess you'll just have to have a little blind faith in me."
"What are you going to do to fix this?"
"You can have all that I know. His address, the name of his men, his phone number, pictures, anything. Everything."
"You have this stuff with you?"
"It's in my car."
Jungkook looks towards the door, "Are you going to tell her everything right now?"
Mina shakes her head.
"I'm not strong enough for that. I'm gonna write it to her."
"She deserves to hear it in person."
"Of course, she does, but I'm a shitty person and I want to see her smile because of me at least one more time."
He's got to admit, he knows what that's like.
You deserve better than either of them.
"Well...I'll decide whether I can trust you later. Get me the stuff first and then maybe I'll consider not shooting you in the head."
Jungkook shoulders past Mina into the house.
"Is e-everything okay?" You ask, worried at the look on his face.
"Yeah, everything's fine," Jungkook says, a small strain in his voice.
You see Mina come back in, her eyes focused on the floor as she makes her way over to you.
"I need to go, I'll talk to you later, alright?"
You stand up and hug Mina tightly, not missing the way she stiffens at your touch.
She reluctantly brings her arms around you and hugs you back.
The last thing you see is her give you a sad smile, then she's gone.
It's quiet for a minute, then Jungkook's phone goes off.
He looks at it and you see him make his way to the door, "I'll be right back."
You don't say anything as he leaves, the sound of the door closing making you flinch a little.
You walk over to the groceries Jungkook brought in and start putting them away, thoughts swarming your mind like bees to a rosebush.
Why are they both being so weird?
A while ago, you would be scared they were doing something together behind your back, but you know now that they would never. Jungkook only sees you, like you only see him.
And Mina would never betray you like that.
So, why are they acting like this?
-
A few minutes later, Jungkook comes back in.
He sees the counters cleared where there were once groceries, but no sign of you.
He had gone to get the information from Mina, but he didn't see you leave while he was down there, so you must be in your room.
Jungkook makes his way down the hall, smiling at the framed drawings lining the hallway.
When he reaches your room, he knocks on the door gently, "____?"
Not a moment later, you open the door, a smile on your face.
"Hi!"
"Hi," Jungkook's smile appears at the sight of yours, "Whatcha doing?"
"I'm m-making something, it's a s-secret though."
"Ohh, I see. When do I get to see it?"
"Mm, s-soon," You say with a cute grin.
Jungkook nods, "Alright, I guess I can wait. I'm gonna start dinner while you do that, sound good?"
"Mhm!"
He has a powerful urge to just lean down and give you a quick peck, but he holds himself back. He isn't quite sure why.
Mina's words really struck a chord in him.
"-but I'm a shitty person and I want to see her smile because of me at least one more time."
You're standing there, leaning on the door, the sweetest expectant smile on your face.
You want him to kiss you.
You see Jungkook glance down at your lips, then back up to your eyes, he gulps and gives you a sad smile before turning and walking back down the hall.
A little frown of disappointment appears on your face, but you shake it off and close the door, ready to finish up all the stuff you're making.
-
"Dinner's ready," Jungkook says when you open the door to his knocking a while later.
"Oh yay, I j-just finished!"
Jungkook made tteokbokki, one of your favorites, and you gush about how good it is the entire time you're eating.
Jungkook laughs, "I feel like you eat the same stuff all the time, I'm gonna need to introduce you to more dishes."
You agree that you'll try whatever he gives you, much to his amusement.
After dinner, you gather the dishes and bring them to the sink, but you only just turn the water on when you feel Jungkook press into you from behind, his strong chest right up against your back and his arms reaching around to circle your middle.
"Why are you doing the dishes, silly?"
"B-Because they n-need to be cleaned," You state matter-of-factly, trying not to let your erratic breathing be heard.
You hear a deep chuckle and your heart stops in your chest, "I can do them."
"You m-made dinner."
"And?"
"And y-you're the guest."
You feel a soft kiss on the back of your head, "Let's do them together, hm?"
"Ok."
You're about to say you can wash and he can dry when you feel him take your hands and move them with his to start cleaning the dishes.
A giggle slips out of your mouth at how silly he is, and you feel like you can feel the smile radiating off of him.
By the time you're done with the dishes, you've got soapy suds on your face from when he booped your nose, purposely getting bubbles on you. Jungkook has also got some suds on his cheek from when you found an opportunity to retaliate.
Jungkook turns you around so you're facing him, your lower back leaning against the sink.
Your heart races in your chest when he leans down and presses his nose to yours, getting bubbles on himself before gently slotting his mouth with yours.
You kiss him back, standing up on your tippytoes to reach your arms around his neck, holding him close as he keeps a soft grip on your hips.
When Jungkook pulls away to get a breath, you resist the urge to just say it.
Those three little words.
You want to wait until you can give him the bracelet tomorrow.
"____, I-"
Jungkook cuts himself off, staring into your eyes with an almost pained expression.
You frown at the anxiety flowing from him, "W-What's wrong? Are y-you hurt?"
Jungkook shakes his head.
He wishes he was.
If only it were as simple as that.
If only you could hurt him instead of him hurting you.
Will you ever forgive him?
"I just-"
Once again, he can't find the words.
Your big eyes are searching his as he struggles to speak.
"You c-can tell me an-anything, Kook. You know th-that."
He nods sadly.
"____?"
"Yes?"
"Will you please promise me something?"
You nod.
"Please promise me that you see me."
"W-What-"
Jungkook places a finger on your lips to quiet you.
"I need you to know that I only see you, and I will only ever see you. No matter what happens, ____, please. Please know me."
"J-Jungkook, what are you on a-about? What's g-going to happen?"
Jungkook gulps, "Just- promise me. Promise me that you'll see me."
"I-"
You're looking into his eyes, confused beyond words.
"I p-promise."
Jungkook closes his eyes, breathing in deep before looking at you again.
He leans forward and kisses your forehead, "Thank you," He whispers.
Just as you start to pull back to look at him, Jungkook pulls you closer into his chest, holding you tight.
He's holding you as though if he were to let go you would just float away.
You don't resist though, you just wrap your arms around his middle and let him hold you.
____________
The next morning, you wake up ready for the day.
You get dressed quickly and run out to see Jungkook sitting on the couch, talking lowly to someone on the phone.
"Yeah, that's what she said."
You don't know why, but you don't let yourself be heard.
Not yet.
You freeze and don't make a sound.
"Yeah, I know. I don't know why she suddenly wants to help. Seems too good to be true."
You furrow your brows.
Who wants to help with what?
Maybe he's just talking about work.
"That's what I was thinking..."
You turn to go back into the room, feeling bad that you were just eavesdropping. You're sure he would never do that to you.
"I don't want to lose her."
Those words make you pause.
You turn back to see Jungkook rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand.
"I know. Thanks, hyung."
You bolt to the back before he can turn and see you.
But you must have made some kind of sound because you hear him call out to you the second you reach your room.
"____?"
You turn back to see him looking at you curiously.
"I didn't know you were up."
"Oh, I- I j-just woke up-..."
Your voice fades away with your confidence as he looks at you.
You know he didn't fall for that, you're not even in your pajamas anymore.
Jungkook doesn't say anything though, he just gives you a weak smile.
"Can I drive you to work?"
You smile and nod, "I'd l-like that."
-
Jungkook sighs as he watches you walk into the school.
He doesn't know why, but he's got a bad feeling.
That something is going to change, something between the two of you.
But he can't pinpoint where the feeling is coming from.
You wave to him before disappearing into the school doors.
Jungkook sits there for a while longer before snapping out of it and driving away.
Namjoon hyung told him he had found the person that did the hit, that it was easy.
They checked, and it's the same information that Mina gave to him.
Is she really on their side now? Or is this all some elaborate trick?
-
You're in your room, pacing back and forth.
Do I do it?
No.
No, I can't.
Wait no, I need to.
If I don't do it now, I might never do it.
The box with the black and yellow bracelet in it is getting wet from your sweaty hands, so you set it on the bed so you can keep pacing.
Jungkook isn't here right now, he went to talk to Tae about something earlier. But Tae texted you a few minutes ago to tell you that Jungkook is on the way back to you.
Then he wished you luck.
Ohhhh, you're gonna puke.
You're so nervous it's not even funny.
After a few more minutes of pacing, suddenly the sound of the front door is catapulting you out of your thoughts.
Oh no.
He's back.
I'm not ready.
I'm not ready.
I'm not-
"____?"
You flinch at the sound of his voice, then you run out of your room and right smack into his hard chest.
He was coming down the hall to check on you when you came barreling out of the room like a battering ram.
You feel his hands rest on your lower back as he catches you, a chuckle slipping from his lips.
"Running late?"
You gulp and shake your head.
Jungkook smiles at your wide-eyed expression and brushes the hair from your face.
"You okay?"
"Mhm."
"Good."
You sit there for a second, then you clear your throat.
"Um, c-can you pl-please sit on the co-couch?"
Jungkook's smile is so warm and comforting that you feel all the anxiety melt away.
"Of course."
He lets go of you and turns to make his way back to the living room.
Once he's out of sight, you run back to your room and grab the box, then you scurry out into the living room.
You see Jungkook sitting on the couch, looking at his phone.
He looks up and smiles at you as you come closer, your hands behind your back.
Once you are right in front of him, you take the box from behind your back and hold it out to him.
"I um- I m-made this for yo-you."
Jungkook's eyes glisten as he takes the box from your hands gently.
"Thank you," He breathes.
He hasn't even opened it yet and he looks like he's close to tears.
That thought brings another random one to mind; he's seen you cry a million times and you've never seen him shed a single tear.
Jungkook opens the box to see the black and yellow bracelet you made.
He takes it out and holds it out to you, "Will you help me put it on?"
You take it and clasp it around his wrist with the little metal clasps you attached to the ends.
Jungkook brings it closer to his face and you see him swallow harshly.
"Thank you so much, ____. I love it."
"Y-You're welcome, I have a m-matching one," You hold out your wrist and he sees an identical bracelet there.
You see him blink rapidly before standing up and pulling you into a hug, "Thank you, I- I don't even know what to say."
You giggle softly, "J-Just don't m-make me feel this on my own."
Jungkook smiles when you say his words from a while ago back to him.
He pulls away and brushes a strand of hair from your face.
Say it, ____.
"J-Jungkook..."
"Yes?"
"I-"
The way he's looking into your eyes makes your fluttering heart calm down and you're no longer worried that he's going to reject you.
"I lo-"
*knock knock knock*
You and Jungkook turn your heads toward the door when the unexpected noise sounds.
It isn't Tae and it isn't Jimin, they both know what you're trying to do right now.
Who could it be?
"____, please open the door. I need to talk to you."
Oh, it's Mina.
Jungkook looks at you and you look back apologetically.
He gives you a knowing smile and whispers that he'll wait in your room until she leaves.
You sigh after he walks away down the hall, then you walk over to the door and open it to see a tearful Mina.
"M-Mina, w-what on earth is wrong?"
Her face is gaunt, with dark circles under her eyes as she wipes at the deluge pouring down her face.
"Can I please come in?"
You nod and step aside so she can come in.
"Mina-"
"Just let me talk, please. Don't say anything until I'm done."
You nod, staying silent as you shut the door.
"____, I don't want you to ever forgive me."
You bite your lip to keep yourself from asking anything.
"I did something horrible, and I don't deserve your forgiveness."
Your stomach sinks as she starts blurting out everything.
"I helped him, ____. I didn't know. I didn't know what he had done to you that night, I thought I was in love with him, but now I know it was never love."
What is she saying?
"I know you don't remember, and I'm so sorry that I took advantage of that."
"Mina-"
"I love you, I swear. I was sick in the head, I wasn't thinking. All I could think about was him."
"Who-"
"Dae."
You furrow your brows.
You don't know that name.
Mina sees the confusion on your face.
"He was the one that was responsible for you losing your memory."
You look at her, bewildered.
You were in a car accident, what is she talking about?
"There was never a car accident, ____," Mina whispers brokenly.
You kind of check out after that, not hearing what she's saying as she goes on and on.
But then you snap out of it when you hear a certain sentence.
"That's why I hated Jungkook. I thought he was going to mess up the hit, now I-"
"Huh?"
Mina shuts up instantly.
"W-What? What hit?"
Mina's words are so broken and quiet you barely hear them.
But you do.
"The hit Dae placed on you."
Your head is spinning.
So, this whole time, Jungkook was trying to protect you...
...from your own best friend?
You fall back a step as Mina takes a step closer.
"____, please let me finish."
You look at her and it breaks her heart.
It looks like you don't even know who she is.
"Y-You tried to g-get rid of him so you c-could kill me?" Tears are streaming down your face as you stare at the person you thought you loved most in this world.
The sound of your bedroom door opening doesn't register in your brain.
"I didn't know he was the one that was hired to kill you."
-
-
"W-What?"
Mina has never heard a more heartwrenching question.
The sound of your voice is so far away, so horrified she doesn't even know what to say.
A tear slips down your cheek as your eyes flit over to where Jungkook has just come out of the hall.
Mina turns to see him staring at you in horror.
She looks back at you, swallowing the lump in her throat.
"____-"
Jungkook's strained voice reaches your ears but you don't provide him with an answer.
You look at Mina desperately, almost as if begging her to tell you it's all a joke now so you can laugh it off.
But the look on her face tells you it isn't.
Your own best friend.
She wanted you dead...
The boy you're in love with...this entire time.
All he wanted to do was kill you...?
You run over to the sink in the kitchen and immediately start throwing up.
You throw up until there's nothing left in your stomach to get rid of.
When you shakily look back up, you see Mina sobbing her eyes out and Jungkook staring at you, his eyes filled with despair.
When he finally moves to get to you, you flinch back, stumbling over your own two feet and falling onto the kitchen floor.
You scoot back until your back is to the wall, then you lift your hands to cover your face.
"P-Please. Please d-don't."
Jungkook's heart is in his throat as he watches you cower away from him, begging him not to kill you.
As if he was capable of hurting you.
"____."
You look through your fingers at the sound of his broken voice.
But all you can see is a killer, hiding behind a mask just to get your walls down.
You see the bracelet on his wrist.
You're gonna be sick again.
Jungkook takes a step closer to you but stops when you flinch violently and hide behind your hands again.
"____, he isn't going to hurt you," Mina cries desperately, "Neither of us is going to hurt you."
"____, please." Jungkook can feel a panic attack coming on.
The past months of getting to know him and falling in love with him are flashing through your brain as you hide fearfully.
It was all a ruse?
Just to get to you?
Then everything starts clicking into place.
How he treated you in the beginning, all of the secrets and hushed voices, whenever he disappeared without an explanation.
The blood.
That was blood on his shirt the other night.
He...
...he killed someone.
You turn just in time to start retching again.
The fight he had with that person in Busan...
He's a hitman.
You look back at Jungkook, nothing but pure terror in your eyes.
Jungkook can feel his heart shatter like glass, smashing against the kitchen floor.
All the trust you ever had for him.
Is gone.
Your small figure curled into a ball against the wall is enough to make him sick.
You're scared of him.
No, you're terrified...
...of him...
Mina is blabbering tearfully, seemingly trying to explain things as she apologizes with every breath.
"Get out."
Mina and Jungkook stare at you as you look at the kitchen floor, your words echoing in their minds.
You look back at Jungkook, glaring at him with daggers in your eyes.
"Unl-less you want t-to finish the job..."
"____-"
"Don't c-call me that!!"
Jungkook flinches as you scream at him.
"____-" Mina tries, but you snap your gaze to her.
"Get a-away from me. I n-never want to see y-you again."
Mina only hesitates for a second.
Then Jungkook hears the front door slam shut.
"____, please let me expla-"
"A-Are you not g-going to kill me?" Your voice shakes.
"No, I-"
"THEN G-GET OUT!"
Jungkook sees a trickle of blood going down your ankle where a piece of glass from a broken plate cut you.
It must have fallen off the counter when you stumbled.
He stares at the bright red drip for a moment, then he looks back at you.
"I'm sorry-"
"I h-hate you."
Jungkook swallows the lump in his throat, then he backs away slowly, not wanting to startle you anymore.
The sound of the front door shutting reaches your ears before you break into uncontrollable sobs.
He hears your gut-wrenching cries from outside the door.
His heart has never hurt more than this.
Jungkook slides down the door, pulling his knees to his chest as your sobs echo in his brain, taking away a piece of his heart with every cry.

before mina’s birth, due to the ultrasound pictures, mina was thought to be a boy. unlike most intersex girls, there was nothing unusual about her anatomy. when mina was born, she was recognized as a male and grew up being treated as one. mina wasn't always as bad as she grew up to be, in fact it wasn't until she started spending more time with her grandparents that her view on others changed.
mina’s grandparents were very old fashioned, they had strong beliefs and they tried their best to instill them in mina. due to the time spent with her grandparents mina eventually started acting the way they did and started to believe the same things as them. they believed that women were meant to stay home and take care of the children while her husband provided for her. their beliefs were passed down to mina who was the sole heir of the family, having had no cousins or siblings.
7th grade, that's around the time where most hit puberty. the same was for mina, when she turned 12 she finally hit puberty, but it didn't go exactly as expected.
“dad, my chest keeps getting fatter but i'm not fat, it’s like i'm growing boobs!” mina exclaimed to her father, she had never been more confused. what was going on?
the thought of mina being intersex had never crossed her fathers mind before the day this happened. It also could have been just the hormones from mina hitting puberty which was causing her to grow breast tissue. due to the fact that there could be 2 explanations to this mina’s father saw it best to have her tested. It may have just been her hormones, but just to be safe he decided to get her tested.
when the results came back it was uncovered that mina indeed was intersex. this information came as a shock to everyone in the myoui family, especially mina.
“does that mean my dick will fall off?! am i gonna become a girl?!” was what mina first said when she was told that she was indeed intersex and she was growing breasts.
“listen kiddo, your penis isnt gonna fall off. and technically you are a girl, but that won't change anything. you're still you.” mina’s father replied, trying to comfort her.
due to how many changes mina was going through because of her gender identity her parents decided to move to a new city to allow mina a fresh start. in mina’s new school she presented herself as a female saying that she didn't want to be trans and she would stick to the gender she looked like.
mina had never experienced something like changing schools, she didn't know anyone there.  people had tried to bully her, tried to insult her. but it had always backfired, mina would never allow any disrespect towards her. especially from someone below her. mina often got into trouble, but her parents always bought their way out of it.
mina always seemed to be stirring up trouble at school, her parents figured it was because she didn't have anything else to do. due to this thought they put her in boxing, she seemed to like starting fights so maybe boxing would work as an outlet for her anger instead of her classmates. when proposing the idea, mina was ecstatic, she could now learn new ways to beat up the kids in her school.
despite her hard and mean demeanor, mina fairly quickly rose to be the most popular in her school. It had always been like that, mina being the most popular and sought out student by others. being the most popular girl in her school and the prettiest, she had many admirers, majority of them being males. her many male suitors quickly diminished though, when she was caught in the boys locker room comparing sizes with the quarterback.
ever since that day it was made known to everyone that mina had a dick, and a big one at that.
mina’s popularity wasn't just among her peers, mina was also quite popular among the teachers. she always turned her work in on time and was constantly participating during class. not only was she an exceptional student, but the money her teachers were gifted during teacher appreciation week made them like her all the more. for this reason whenever mina would get into trouble with other students the teachers would often turn a blind eye or take mina’s side. along with being arguably the most favored student, there were many rumors that she was favored in other ways too.
“hey mina, you know the new teacher, the hot one?” shawn asked, the quarterback of the football team and mina's best friend.
“yeah, i have her for history, why?”
“you’re always talking about how you can pull any girl in the school, so i dare you to fuck her and record it.” shawn said to mina and her eyes widened in shock, this was only their sophomore year. how early did he want her kicked out?
“fuck, okay. by next month ill get you a video of that bitch sucking my dick.” mina responded, she would never turn down a dare, especially one that included fucking someone.
and true to her word by the next month she had sent a video into the group chat with all her friends of the said teacher on her knees sucking minas cock. It made sense to them that the teacher would sleep with mina but to let her record it? everyone was baffled at how she did it. In response mina just said that the teacher obviously didn't know she was being recorded. the video for obvious reasons didn't make it out of the group chat but it did cause many unconfirmed rumors amongst the students.
Tumblr media
although mina was known for fucking around, and never taking anyone seriously, that all changed when she met y/n. y/n was different, her beauty was on another level. The moment mina laid eyes on y/n she knew she was done for. that was the moment her reputation changed from fuckboy to lovergirl. she pursued y/n for months before she was given a chance but even while pursuing y/n there was nothing more that mina would want to do. y/n was it for her, she knew she wanted forever with y/n.
mina had never acted this way, she would skip out on parties to spend time chasing after y/n. she refused all advances from other girls saying she was taken, it might not have been official but the moment mina saw y/n she was taken. It wasn't like you were a nobody either, everyone knew the y/n l/n you were only second to mina in popularity. mina for some reason had never noticed you, too focused on her own life; she never knew of your existence until she saw you laughing with your friends at a party.
Tumblr media
dating someone like mina wasn't always the easiest thing, mina had this huge superiority complex. your relationship with her was always you compromising on things. she acted as if she owned you, you weren't allowed to have any male friends, but she was allowed to be friends with anyone.
mina would never tell you, but she liked the power trip she got whenever she was with you. you were the perfect girlfriend, you never complained, and you always did what she said. mina never wanted to lose you, no matter how it seemed or how she treated you she knew that she’d never find someone like you.
when you had first told her you were pregnant mina couldn't believe it, it was like a dream. she had always wanted kids, especially with you. You were her girl and you were gonna have her baby. she honestly had no bad intentions, she always loved kids, having a son was always something she wanted.
the day she was told you were pregnant she called her grandparents, they were in japan so she couldn't personally meet them but she wanted their advice. the one person mina respected the most was her grandfather, and now that she was going to have a kid she wanted his advice. her grandfather told her that she should treat her girlfriend exceptionally because she was carrying the next generation. he told her that having a son was the best gift she could be blessed with.
with her new found advice and information mina tried her hardest to be an amazing girlfriend to y/n. she obviously wouldn’t lie and say she enjoyed staying up at night while y/n cried and vomited but she still loved y/n and her child on the way. sometimes she would question herself and why she was even doing all this, why she was missing out on sleep for this stupid reason. y/n could do this herself, why did she always insist on mina staying up with her. mina never voiced these thoughts but they stayed on her mind.
mina felt so accomplished when she found out that she had in fact gotten y/n pregnant, and not only that, y/n was also going to keep the baby. all of her friends were surprised when she told them and didn't believe that mina had in fact knocked up the y/n l/n. y/n was known for her reputation of being a virgin and never getting intimate with anyone, much less getting pregnant.
Tumblr media
when the baby was born and the gender was seen to be a girl, mina was incredibly disappointed. she knew that y/n could have another baby but mina knew y/n would never agree to it. she resented y/n, it wasn't the child's fault for being born the way she was, it was y/n’s fault. deep down mina knew that no one was to blame but she could help but need someone to blame.
maybe that's what led her to seek comfort in the arms of another, y/n’s body wasn't as desirable as it used to be. you had gained weight due to the pregnancy and mina hated that, she would often make comments on your body and weight in hopes that you would change it. the change was taking too long and mina was getting tired of waiting. she had needs and if you couldn't fulfill them she would have to find others to.
mina tried to tell herself that it was you who made her do this, it was you who forced her into doing this. she left the home when you were sleeping and left to go to a party, ‘this is y/n’s fault, it’s on y/n’ is what she’d repeat to herself. she found someone pretty in no time, and she dragged them up to one of the rooms not letting her lips leave their skin.
as she fucked the other girl all she could think of was you, the way your eyes squinted as you laughed, the smell of you, the way you said her name. she couldn't do this. mina didn't realize it, but the tears were pouring out of her eyes and onto the back of the girl under her. she never hated herself more, she wanted to throw up. She hadn’t drank anything, but she felt sick to her stomach. she pulled out and pulled up her pants, the other girl was confused and as she went to ask mina what happened mina left.
she went back to her shared apartment with you and showered, she needed to wash it off, she felt disgusted with herself. how could she have done this, she sat in under the shower crying to herself. she hated herself for what she had done, she never thought of herself as cruel but there was no other word to use for her actions other than cruel.
her skin was all pruned up by the time she exited the shower, she laid behind you in bed crying quietly into your shoulder. feeling the wetness on your shoulder you slowly stirred awake and turned around to see mina crying. she refused to tell you what upset her but she kept repeating ‘i love you’ and ‘i'm sorry’. you had no idea why she was saying this but you just wrapped your hands around her as she buried her face in your neck.
after that day mina changed, it was a confusing change, and it led you to believe that mina was now cheating on you. after that day mina started acting more distant. you didn't know what happened but you could smell perfume that wasn't yours on her clothes when you washed them. mina was confused, maybe if mina was a different person she would've found herself wrong and changed. but in the end mina was still mina and she kept the thought that you made her do it in her head. the cheating stopped, but the way she treated you stayed the same.
the thought that mina was mistreating you never crossed her mind once, you were made to take care of children, to cook, and to clean. her telling you to do this was the bare minimum, in mina’s eyes she treated you amazingly.
mina never treated you badly, she loved you so much and she would never mistreat a loved one. her wanting to become an idol shouldn't have been a surprise for you and you should have supported her. she was the victim in this situation. maybe she wasn't as present in her child's life as she should've been, but if that really bothered you then it was your fault for not saying anything.
If mina really hadn't done anything wrong then why did she feel so empty as she boarded the plane to korea only accompanied by your words.

a/n: lets ignore that mina never had a boy name and all the other things that don't make sense🤗🤗 also im sorry if this is bad i didn't know what to write😭😭
