the only time you ever feel real now is when you hurt someone. when you get hurt.

but when your best friend takes your hands in his own. when he tells you that he loves you. maybe then you feel like you're alive.

he tells you are so much more than the blood you've spilled.

you know he's wrong.

it feels all too real when you kill him. it's visceral. and gory. and why is this real. why does this feel so real. why do you feel that same rush of adrenaline when the bullet hits its mark. why.

why do you hurt everything you touch.

the only time you ever feel real now is when you hurt someone. when you get hurt. and it's never hurt more than killing the one that made you want to live.
