You've been through some tough shit and maybe you aren't out of it yet. But you're still here, still here to read this and you know what that makes you. Really really brave. And I'm proud of you, bravery like that takes a lot more than people realise. But I realise. I know how brave you are. And I'm proud of you for it. So no matter your situation keep going. It sucks being afraid of making a step towards any direction because you'll fear that everyone will judge or punish you harshly. It is hard because, once you do your shadow work, you'll know that many of these triggers and insecurities don't come from the outside world. It comes from within. And I know it sucks. Many times it feels as if you're battling with yourself daily.

Never Give Up Bookiversary 💜

It's been One Year since my story was released into the world and what a year its been!

It's been a year of truly healing, the feeling of the world being lifted off my shoulders and the feeling that I can finally breathe again.

Thank you for those who have read of story, shared their own journey's with me and for all the love and support I have gotten.

It was scary to have shared this, so many what ifs... What if my abusers come after me or my loved ones? What if no one believes me? What if my abusers were right and I was crazy?

Finally I can put there's what ifs to rest as I know I have a great support system and people who believe me and I know I am not crazy.

Hi Bullet, I'm resending this ask and will try to explain it better. The gist is that I highly suspect communication issues based on both Dump's and my experience. I'm not a bbc sherlock mod. I'm from a different fandom.

Quote from her blog:

(Privately, John has said that this* was all planned and that Sherlock’s mod was aware of this. Sherlock’s mod, who I have consistently informed I was “OOC”, did not seem to understand this.)

*refers to John rp quitting

Dump meant that sherlock mod only communicated in character, never as mod, to the point that Sherlock mod refused to acknowledge that John mod was quitting, because, of course, IC Sherlock doesn't understand what roleplay is. And this has become extremely frustrating to Dump when she tried to coordinate things a bit or offering suggestions. I have similar experience with Sherlock mod. They don't ever talk as mod even if you ask them roleplay technicalities.

What I'm saying is that if one or more mods only ever communicate in character, it's not sustainable, especially when they have so many characters. And I just read Lestrade mod's statement and it appears that Mycroft rp almost always only talk in character too. Their network is doomed, not only from the lack of coordination, but also all the resentment created along the way.

I am terribly sorry with how Dump was treated when trying to communicate with the rp group. With everything that is coming out now, hopefully that will bring some context to their experiences.

My intuition is usually spot on and I will say this from that intuition (this is not a fact I actually know). It wouldn't surprise me if John somehow used abusive tactics to keep everyone in character/in line. And it wouldn't surprise me that some folks in that group acted out of (irl) character because of the stress and pain.

I do hope more mods gather their courage to speak out.
