omfg wait lemme tell u my thought process - i originally wanted a dragon bc they always look so cool but since it has a lot of significance in chinese and japanese culture, i didn't want to put on my body out of respect ;; (even if im like half taiwanese 😭 i dont feel qualified jshfwjdhs)
and then i was like wait! i can use my chinese zodiac (which isnt even a dragon...) and i was pumped and went searching for like snake tattoos and stuff and then i stumbled across a drawing of icarus. holy shit i was SOLD 😭
i think i just adore the story of icarus, as tragic as it is, of like flying too close to the sun and getting ur freaking wings melted off - i sometimes get too caught up in overconfidence like icarus did and fucked stuff up LOL so i think it's cheesy but fitting <3
i've been gooood btw - i have more time to write (yay!) and just enjoying the presents i got from my students for teacher's day 🥳
