Es war ein Traum Das Wort: „ich liebe dich, ich liebe dich!”

So pleased to finally share my piece for @palimpsestzine! This was a live recreation inspired by the Pentiment soundtrack album cover — the only editing you see, besides normal post-production, is the wood panelling background and the little bit of Nuremberg outside the window. Everything else was done through practical effects and craft: I got to show off everything I love about costuming and tell on myself as an ex-theatre kid and literally bring one of the game’s iconic images to life.

the palm tree is great and all, but what about the flickies?? in this backwards world, those little animals are his only friends, so he’s willing to do whatever it takes to protect them. when the chaos council took over, they were in great danger, and bullet made the tough choice to trade his freedom for their safety, acting as an enforcer on their behalf.

God I have SO much to say I'm gonna try and collect all my thoughts for a sec

Ok okok so FIRST of all!!! HUGE MASSIVE PROPS TO CC!BAD AND THE EGG ADMINS!!!! This entire arc was INCREDIBLE!! We've got to see parts of this story we've never gotten to before!! I don't think any cc on Qsmp has ever done something like this before!! The fact that so many eggs got to reveal certain aspects of their individual stories that they would never have been able to reveal is so COOL!! And almost every egg got at least a little spotlight!! (Leo D:) It was FASCINATING to see the day in the life of the eggs!! A little pull back behind the curtain to see what the eggs are like when nobody is around to watch! And the way Bad played the Ghosties was so cool too! The way he wasn't even talking yet still conveying so much emotion through body language is honestly an incredible feat in it of itself. The way he still managed to make so many VERY LONG streams ENTERTAINING IS ALSO VERY IMPRESSIVE (WITH THE EGGS HELP OFC)!

Gosh. This whole week was awesome. Finally getting the result of MONTHS of build up into such a cool transitional period and then ending up on THE FINAL SCENE IS SO COOL!!!

Bottom line this arc was so so awesome and I loved every second of it!! Bad and the admins did an IMPECCABLE job!!!

i've now started lockwood & co - hollow boy (book 3)!!! i managed to finish the whispering skull (book 2) and wow!!! the ending was so good.

but at the same time, omg. i never expected the ending of book 2, like his SISTER?? that's so sad.

and in book 3 when lucy describes what happened when lockwood took her into his sister's old room, i was nearly in tears. and how lucy describes the feeling of being in that room; no anger, no sadness, just solemnity.

she called it a 'place of absence,' and that's so heartbreaking because lockwood genuinely feels alone (with the exception of lucy and george ofc) but he's just on his own, in family terms, i mean. like he's got no one left.

i think that's another reason i love the trio's friendship, because they really are each other's found family; lockwood's parents and sister are dead, lucy's mum was horrible and george's family never liked how interested he was in the problem.

literally incapable of understanding people complaining about purgatory. this is the most fun ive ever had in my entire fucking life
