Con Gank your heart credo di aver concluso la visione di tutto quello che è facilmente reperibile sugli esport cinesi.
Mi è piaciuto? Diciamo più di altri, anche se questo drama ha le sue pecche.
Partiamo dalle cose positive. Credo che il personaggio principale sia stato appositamente cucito su Wang Yi Bo. Sguardo accattivante, occhi da birbante, cuore scintillante, il tuo nome è Yi Xiancong! Balla, va in moto, gioca basket, fa gruppo, ci mancava che lo facessero cantare (a un certo punto gli hanno pure dato in mano una chitarra ma per decenza si sono fermati all’accordatura) e gli facevano fare il repertorio completo!

Quando si parla di esport comunque il fattore X è la squadra. In questo drama le squadre sono parecchie, con i loro problemi, amicizie e gelosie, sotterfugi. Il filo conduttore è naturalmente il protagonista che sul finale riesce a ricreare la squadra perfetta i Fenix. La fratellanza, l’amormia, l’interazione, il feeling mi ha ricordato molto quella presente tra i mitici ragazzi della KK. Perché infondo la morale è sempre la stessa: l’unione fa la forza! E la gloria del paese uber alles!

Il personaggio che comunque mi è piaciuto di più è Pei Xi interpretato da Jerry Jan. Ha una sua crescita evolutiva. Pur essendo in cima alle classifiche di questo sport decide che, migliorare caratterialmente è la cosa più importante. Sopratutto è un personaggio senza filtri. Dice ciò che pensa senza problemi. Spesso non viene compreso è preso sul serio dagli altri protagonisti proprio per il suo modo di agire e dire le cose, perché gli escono in maniera candida. Se il suo interesse per Xiangkong derivi solo da ammirazione e desiderio di appartenenza ad un gruppo o da altro, non è dato saperlo e viene lasciato all’interpretazione di ognuno di noi. Comunque promosso in pieno!

In una recensione di @dilebe06 ricordo le sue parole su Tong Niang di Go go squid. Inutile e senza uno scopo nella vita se non esistere per il protagonista . In questo drama gli autori si sono impegnati un po’ di più e hanno dato qualche obbiettivo a questa ragazza. Tanto che, ad un certo punto, Qiu Yin senza grosse spiegazioni e remore , prende e se ne va per proseguire la sua carriera. Della serie: ci siamo ripromessi di arrivare insieme sul tetto de mondo? Ok io intanto ci vado, te anche se sei infognato, mi raccomando sdoganati e semmai poi raggiungimi! Uno a questo punto penserebbe: finalmente una protagonista tosta! Che ha fiducia in se è nel suo amore! Macché piange una volta si è l’altra pure.. comunque di per se è un personaggio positivo anche se con qualche pecca!

Passiamo alle note dolenti.
Se mi chiedete quale è cosa che più mi fa saltare i nervi in un drama è la mancanza di comunicazione fra i due lead. Di solito produce malintesi che durano anche puntate. Gank your heart non sfugge a questa maledizione. Che si ripete più volte. Che distrugge ogni volta i protagonisti. Ma che per assurdo hanno il loro sogno e sembrano delle moderne Rossella O’hara e si ripetono, “ non lo posso affrontare ora, ci penserò domani, dopotutto domani è un altro giorno!”. E giuro, verso la decima puntata Qiu Yin ad un certo punto una frase del genere la dice pure!

Altra nota dolente. La fidanzata di ritorno. Non so voi, ma io se vedessi il mio ex dopo 5 anni, con il vissuto che ci raccontano avere avuto Xiangkong e Mi Ya , io l’unica cosa che farei è sputargli in un occhio! O semplicemente ignorare la sua esistenza perché sai che porterà solo rogne. Xiangkong non lo fa perché è un orsetto di buon cuore, un suo reale interesse non l’ho mai visto, ma mi domando perché (???!!!!)Qiu Yin invece pensa che sia possibile. Ok lui non gli ha mai raccontato nulla de suo passato, ma se è passato un motivo ci sarà! Sei bella, carina, dolce, sensibile, state bene insieme non lasciare che siano gli altri a decidere la tua vita sentimentale!
Idem Mi Ya. Ha rinunciato a te 5 anni prima dopo averti aiutato e sostenuto fino a quando sei arrivata al successo. Per 5 anni al massimo lo hai invitato ai tuoi concerti. Ti svegli una mattina a e ti dici: Cosa mi manca? Una scarpa si lusso, una chitarra nuova, Xiangkong? Aspetta che torno e me lo riprendo! Urca, ha una fidanzata! Non la conosco eh, ma da quello che leggo su weibo è di sicuro una mia pallida imitazione! Quindi fatemi strada! Ma bella mia, la gente vive! Interagisce, cambia! Anche tu sarai cambiata! Su forza ragazza che ci hai messo 20 puntate a capirlo!

A chiusura posso dire 35 puntate piacevoli, senza troppi flash back, pathos non da cardiopalma e contenuto leggero. Se piace il genere esport vale la pena vederlo e nella mia personale graduatoria lo piazzo sopra al sopravalutato Falling into your smile.
Ps. Per capire il titolo ci ho messo una giornata e mezza e scrivere qua tutti i pensieri che avevo in testa.

A while ago, I finished watching Cafe. Waiting. Love
Upon reading the name of the singer in this music video, Harlem Yu, he reminds me of an old song of his from Meteor Garden, named Qing Fei De Yi. It's really nice that I now know two songs that he sang.
With regard to the list of Taiwanese Romantic films to watch that I posted before, I've noticed that I see Vivian Sung a lot, starting with Xiao Mi from Till We Meet Again. Consider me a fan of her performances/roles.
As for the film, I was laughing most of the time whilst watching. I find the film to be wacky, with Ah-Tuo wearing a bikini, holding a cabbage, and whilst also on rollerblades. On another note, I saw them playing Chinese Checkers in the film and it brought back some memories of my childhood wherein we played the said game. As the story progresses, you'll start to uncover the stories and reasons behind the characters you meet along the way.
Nearing the end, everything just clicked, it gave me a little bit of the Till We Meet Again vibes, and I love how the story of the cafe owner, Brother Bao's and Lee Si Ying' and Ah-Tuo's story went full circle.
P.S.:
I noticed that I cry more often when retelling the hard-hitting parts of the story to my family, and after doing so, I feel better about it and I appreciate the film more.
