Pt. 5 Fairy Tale “AU”

(AU is in quotes bc although this is in a “everybody lives, nobody dies” universe, the fairytales aren’t the major difference)

So the concept:

Via an enemy stand user attack, the Bucci gang (including Polnareff) are now in a fairytale world where they are cast in various characters’ roles. Though the stories are squashed and mixed together.

Narancia - Is both Jack from “Jack and the Beanstalk” and the young woman from the folktale “The Drac: the Invisible Demon.”

Fugo - Is both the Miller’s daughter from “Rumpelstiltskin” and the lazy daughter from “Frau Holle.”

Mista - Is Snow White and the pistols are the dwarfs.

Trish - Is Cinderella (the version where instead of a fairy god mother it’s the spirit of her dead mother inhabiting a tree).

Giorno - Is both the Lindworm from “The Lindworm Prince” and Tam Lin from “Tam Lin.”

Bruno - Is both the princess from “Sleeping Beauty” and Bluebeard from “Bluebeard.”

Leone has no idea what’s going on. Where is he? Why is he in armor? Why do none of his friends recognize him? Why does he keep seeing depictions of dragons? What is the voice in his head that keeps saying “once upon a time…,”?

Leone must find his friends, break them free from the spell, and escape from this dreamlike world.

(Features of the story include: Narancia insulting Leone’s outfit, various poisonous amphibians, Mista getting slapped, Balls, Giorno’s childhood trauma, a Bruabba kiss, the teens being menaces, a musical number by our favorite French man, and much more!)

Thinkin' about like. Chaos Wolf switching places with Exile again. like oh my god

Switching into Forsaken Exile, and now they're listening to these people they called their family talking and this version of Wolf. Zavala's questioning what went wrong, and Chaos stops and thinks, "The last person who asked me how I was, was someone I had just met. Where did you go wrong, huh?"

Then you look over at how Exile's doing, and they're bug-eyed while looking at the Vanguard and like they're about to full-on panic while Crow's trying to figure out what the hell's wrong, because he's the only one they'll let close. It takes days for Exile to not all but run out of the room when someone not-Crow tries to talk to them.

On another note, I think Forcibly Un-Exiled is what I'm gonna go for, and then transition it into one of the other endings we've thought of (the Witness taunting the Vanguard seems to be the prefered one?)

I have No Idea if I've even talked about them being un-exiled here. that's probably mostly in the Content Box... Melhmehneh someone send me an ask about it, maybe? my brain needs to talk about Exile. so badly.

Gotta love how everyone begs for "diversity" and representation but once we get it,, you turn the other cheek and start talking about the white guy. . .

After having vetoed most of my dresses and then grudgingly accepting one as “viable” for swishy dance skirt purposes a few weeks ago, yesterday I found a skirt in the back of my closet I’ve worn ONCE. And it’s near PERFECT. Loose and long and swishy enough to keep my legs free and allow for flipping it about, but light and not so long that I have to worry about stepping on it. Also surprisingly flattering on me nowadays. I promptly gave it a video test run and man it swishes like a DREAM. Finally my WDTAB choreo is complete!!! And while I’ve got some pacing and extension issues to work out, the recording looks...pretty good. I am in the acting world what one calls a MOVER, not a DANCER, so the fact that I’m proud of this is pretty wild. IYKYK 😂😂😂 Unfortunate that I don’t want to post my face on the one anonymous social media I have, or I’d share it here, where it would be appreciated.

Unpopular opinion unfortunately but Pepa being mad at Bruno was the only anger that was justified. She suffers from anxiety attacks and Bruno made her have one on the most important day of her adult life by going “it looks like rain” which in LatAm is also a way of saying your marriage won’t last in some countries. So I don’t blame her for causing a storm at her wedding, I blame Bruno. While Bruno suffered a lot, I think the fandom tends to ignore the fact that Pepa did too(the bags under her eyes are almost as deep as Bruno’s, the only reason she’s not gray is that she’s a ginger). And a lot of it is due to misogyny and ableism. I know the fandom loves bruno but y’all’s cinnamon roll isn’t perfect. He can make mistakes too and what happened on Pepa’s wedding is one of those mistakes. I think at the very least she deserves an apology from Bruno for her wedding.

Yes and no!

For me, it's the insistence that the fandom woobifies and babies these characters so much that like, their genuine and original flavor is so diluted that they aren't the same character anymore.

That's not to say that headcanons and expounding on already existing personality traits aren't valid, but so many headcanons fall under that "they're such a soft/super romantic/sex god/etc character 🥺💕" and it's like...no they're not? Do they have experience? Probably, most likely. Are they a completely stoic person? No, I don't think so.

But I can't stand when the fandom scrubs these characters clean of their actual personality to place their own on them.

yk I’m tired of Travis Scott being SZA’s work husband… I’m tired of his features. Love Galore (Alt version) and Open Arms are both so good without him…
