finally some good fucking horror
#after a rash of watching disappointing movies & shows#I recently watched Pulse/Kairo and just finished ep.1 of Archive 81 and hooooly shit#this is what I was put on this earth for#yes I'm a bit of a sucker for vhs aesthetics#but that spine-tingling blood-freezing capital-E Eeriness? that takes so much fucking effort and skill to pull off#also god A81 is v clearly coming from a place of absolutely loving the genre and it shows!! vvv exciting#if I end up having to eat my words abt this I will literally cry I am so excited for where this goes#also I still have Thoughts on Pulse as well. but hm. another time
