When you feel like the walking dead because of the heat and dress up cute anyway for an ounce of serotonin...
Do you think my imitation will flatter the sun and I'll be spared??
[id]A fat white young queer woman with glasses and long brown hair (worn in a braid over her shoulder). She's posing in front of a wooden door with a hering bone pattern and the house is coloured a pale yellow as well. The whole picture is tilted funny, which reflects her off-kilter feeling on that day (though it was a happy accident because there was only a flower pot to balance her cellphone on for taking a selfie).
The woman is wearing a dark yellow top with puffy sleeves (can be worn off the shoulder like pictured or pulled up). Pulled down you can see her black sports bra. She's wearing a black leather cord necklace with a golden arrow head pendant. Her shorts are the same colour as the top, with a bold cartoony star print on it (the stars have bold black outlines and are either very yellow too or a very almost-white- yellow.
To complete the outfit she's wearing black strappy sandals and a black bag with dark gold bells. The golden bells on the bag reference the dark golden arrow head pendant. [/id]

Yellow and Black Make Green!
A few years ago I painted this figure as proof of concept that yes, mix yellow and black and YOU GET GREEN!
This is Reaper miniatures' "Incredible Woman", sku 50212, sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. She's a nice, generic superhero figure that you can paint up how you like, a little larger than standard so she looks tall and muscly and powerful next to other figures.
I painted her up as Marvel's She-Hulk from the time she was on the Fantastic Four team.
All of the greens on her, dark to light, are made with the same two pigments, hansa yellow light (a bright lemon yellow) mixed with tiny amounts of Mars black.
Nothing else. No whites. No greens. Just those two paints.
As you can see, they mix into a GORGEOUS spring grass green. And all the shadows and highlights harmonize because they are mixed from the same two pigments.
A few years ago I made an art video about this, "Yellow and Black Make Green", demonstrating how it works, using this figure (and some others) as proof of concept.
