“I can’t believe you're getting married!” Tony exclaimed probably for the hundredth time during this whole process. “I’m more nervous than I was for Vision’s wedding,” you fought the urge to roll your eyes as you sat in front of the makeup artist. You felt bad for the poor woman who had to endure your family’s antics.
“Honey, have a drink,” Maria pushed a glass of whiskey into Tony’s hand. “You are going to stress out the bride.” You weren’t stressed. You were 100% content and ready to marry the woman of your dreams. All you had to do was get through a silly little ceremony and it would be official. You told Yelena that you would settle for getting married in a courtroom but she wanted a wedding. So you gave her a wedding.
“You look like the day you told me you had a crush on her,” Howard said, coming from the balcony with a cigar in his mouth. “All flustered and nervous. If I knew any better I’d say you were getting married.” You chuckled slightly at the light blush creeping up Tony’s face.
“Well then I learned that she was gay,” he pointed at you. “You were my first heartbreak.” You chuckled.
“I think you did well for yourself,” you smiled.
“Damn, right he did!” Pepper said and your bridal party cheered. This was the only thing you cared about, having your family together. Well, not everyone. Damn, you missed your parents.

God, you had to have a long talk with Natasha about your last drink. Your head was throbbing. At least the newlyweds had the forethought to book a place with continental breakfast so everyone could nurse their hangovers. “Someone got laid last night,” Tony said, slamming down a cup of coffee and sitting in the chair next to you. The sound echoed in your head.
“Fuck Stark,” you groaned. “Why are you always so loud?” He chuckled at your expense. The man was never hungover, it was annoying.
“So are you going to tell me who it was?” He took a piece of toast off your plate. “Because I’m all your boss so I will find out,” you kept your mouth shut, sipping on your coffee. “I bet it was with Carol. She eyefucks you at every gala,” you smirked. You knew the former Air Force pilot was with Val, maybe they were looking for a third. “Monica is attractive, was it her? Please don’t tell me you joined Romanoff and Barnes.”
“Shut up,” you laughed. You sighed. “Fine I’ll tell you but you have to keep it quiet. Can you do that?” He nodded. You glared at him.
“Scouts honor. Now come on tell me,” he whined. You smiled, biting your lip as you remembered lasted night.
“It was Yelena,” Tony stared at you, mouth slightly open, and blinked a few times at you.
“Romanoff is going to kill you,” he deadpanned. “At least leave me something nice in your will.” You rolled your eyes, smacking the man slightly on the chest.
“She knows,” his face scrunched in disgust. “Oh my god, ew, not like that,” Laughing pulled your attention away from Tony and you watched as Yelena walked into the dining room with Kate and America. She was still wearing the long-sleeved shirt that you let her burrow. It made you smile. Tony hit your leg. “Sorry,” you snapped out of it. “Natasha gave her stamp of approval for me to pursue a relationship with her.”
“Why did you make it sound like a business proposition?” He asked. You huffed out a sigh, crossing your arms. “I’m kidding,” he laughed. “She’s the one that has put a smile back on your face,” you nodded. Yelena sat down at a table with her sister and her green eyes found yours, a playful smirk on her lips. You wanted to go over and kiss her again. “Well, I’m glad she’s making you happy.”
“Yeah, she is.”
*
Maria and Howard asked you to join them when your hair and makeup were done. It was a light look as you didn’t wear makeup in your normal day-to-day life. So you stood with them on the balcony that overlooked the winery. “You are making me kind of nervous,” you chuckled. It reminded you of when you and Tony ‘burrowed’ Howard’s 1960 red Mustang. He wasn’t happy.
“There is nothing to worry about, sweetheart,” Maria said, sitting down at the small patio set. Her husband remained standing behind her. You sat down in front of her.
“We have a small gift for you,” you groaned. “Hey, lose the attitude squirt,” You fought the couple tooth and nail during this process. They wanted to help pay for the wedding or gift you something extravagant, but you declined both.
“It’s tradition for the bride to have something old, new, burrowed, and blue on their wedding day,” Maria explained. You and Yelena weren’t having a traditional American wedding with her being Russian and both members of the LGBTQ community but there were some things you were doing. You weren’t seeing each other until Yelena walked down the aisle, Yelena would be throwing her bouquet (you were hopping Natasha would catch it), and you had two flower girls (Lila and Morgan), and Nate and Cooper were your ring bearers.
“For your something burrowed,” Howard took off his cufflinks and handed them to you. “I expect those back in perfect condition.” he teased. You rolled your eyes but took them.
“For your something old,” Maria handed you a pin. “And it counts for your blue.” It was a blue jay pin that your mother gave her. She never took it off. You felt tears form in your eyes. “So they can be there with you while you walk down the aisle.”
“Your father gave me those,” Howard added. You choose Howard and Maria to walk you down the aisle in place of your parents. “They would be proud of you, kid,” you cleared your throat, trying to push down your emotions not wanting to ruin your makeup.
“Thank you,” you whispered. “Both you. I wouldn’t be here without you.”
“It has been a pleasure to watch you grow up,” Maria stood up and kissed the top of your head. “Here is something new,” she pulled out a small box and a letter. “From your soon-to-be wife. We’ll let you open it in private.” You thanked the couple and they returned to the suite as you opened the box. Inside was a new pair of earrings. They were simple golden studs with a small diamond. You smiled and put them in, now you understood why Pepper told you not to wear earrings. You opened the letter.
‘Darling, There are so many things I wish to write in this letter but I’ll keep it brief and save it for my vows. I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together. As for the earrings, Maria told me a story of a family vacation you took with the Starks around the time of your parent's passing to Cape Code. You wore a pair of earrings that your mother gave you into the ocean and unfortunately lost them. I know these won’t be able to replace the ones you lost. But I hope they provide you with a sense of comfort along with the mementos Maria and Howard gave you. I love you and see you soon.’
You reread the letter a few more times before folding it nicely. You fiddled with the earrings. You were a mess that trip even more so when you lost your earrings. You missed them so deeply and you wished they were here with you.

“Are you sure they want me here?” Yelena asked, anxiously twisting the rings on her fingers. You were sitting in the driveway of the Stark Family Home. It was Maria’s birthday. Tonight was the small gathering for family and a few close friends and tomorrow was the bigger party. The Starks never needed a reason to party. You took her hand in yours, bringing it to your lips.
“They asked for you specifically,” it was true. When you told Tony about your new relationship, he couldn’t wait to tell his parents. They’ve met the blonde but you knew it was at a work event when you were introducing the new group of entrepreneurs. It was different now. She was just another Stark employee now she was a Stark employee and your girlfriend. “If you don’t want to go we can turn around and we can hang out at my place.” Yelena shook her head.
“Is Wanda going to be there?” You sighed.
“Yes,” the blonde tensed up. “But I don’t care about her. I’m with you and she made her choice.” You haven’t run into your ex-girlfriend since her wedding and your new relationship with Yelena. But you knew she knew. Vision seemed quite interested in your relationship, especially with how it would affect the workplace. It wasn’t a coincidence that an email from HR was in your inbox regarding relationships with coworkers.
“Alright, let’s do this,” you turned off the car and walked over to Yelena’s side to open the door for her. “My knight in shining armor,” she said, kissing your cheek. She had the small gift bag in her hand, that you knew Maria was going to be livid about. You held onto her hand as you led her up to the massive doorway. “I sometimes forget how much money the Starks have,” Yelena mumbled, looking at the house. “Tony is so..”
“Stupid, cocky, a pain in my ass,” the blonde laughed, pinching your sides. “Ouch, rude.”
“Don’t talk about our boss like that,” she teased. You rolled your eyes, ringing the doorbell.
“He was a brother to me long before he was chairman of Stark Industries.” It wasn’t long before the door swung open.
“There she is!” Howard said, pulling you in a hug. Your hand was ripped out of Yelena’s hold. “I guess you only come around when you know we’ll have food.” He teased.
“Let me go, old man,” you pushed him off of you as he messed with your hair.
“You did not just call me old,” he gasped. You stepped into the house and Yelena closed the door behind you. “It ain’t my birthday, sweet cheeks.”
“I’m telling your wife you said,” you smiled, fixing your hair and polo. “Howard, I would like to introduce you to my girlfriend, Yelena-”
“Yelena Belova,” the man cut you off, extending his hand for her to shake. “I know all about you. You are the reason Stark Industries is branching overseas to work with the Wakandans,” Yelena shook his hand. You saw the tension leave her body. “It has always been my dream for the company to expand so we can help more people. I’d love to hear all about it.”
“Darling,” you saw Maria walk over. “You promised there would be no talking about work.” She scolded her husband. “Hello, Yelena it’s wonderful to meet you.” The matriarch hugged your girlfriend. Over his wife’s shoulder, Howard mouthed, ‘We’ll talk later.’
“It’s nice to meet you too,” Yelena smiled. “And Happy Birthday.” She handed Maria the gift bag. The woman glared at you but you held up your hands.
“Wasn’t me,” you defended. “That was all her.” You were throwing your girlfriend to the wolves but when it came to Mama Stark it was for the best. Inside were two stained glass blue jays that she could hang in the window.
“Oh, I love them. Thank you,” she hugged your girlfriend again. Your mouth hung open slightly.
“How come when I get you a gift you threaten to kick me out of the will.”
“Hush you,” Maria teased, lopping her arm with Yelena. “Come. Dinner is almost ready so we are having drinks in the sitting room.” Maria dragged Yelena in the direction of the room, leaving you alone with Howard.
“Women,” he said, hitting you with his elbow. “Am I right?” You rolled your eyes.
“You always are,” You grabbed him by the shoulder. “Come on let’s not keep everyone waiting.” When you joined the rest of the guests, Yelena was standing with Tony and Pepper. You excused yourself and joined the trio.
“About time you showed up,” Tony teased, as he leaned closer to you. “Someone has been sending dirty looks to your girlfriend.” You saw Wanda standing with Vision and Bruce, another close friend of the Stark Family. You chuckled.
“Maybe she’s upset I got lucky on her wedding night and she didn’t,” Tony gagged, punching you in the shoulder.
“Children,” Maria warned and Tony mumbled a ‘sorry mom’ under his breath. “Dinner is ready.” The group filled into the dining room, and each person had a personalized name plate to designate where everyone was sitting. You pulled out Yelena’s chair for her.
“Why don’t you do that for me anymore?” Pepper teased as she sat next to you. Tony huffed.
“They are in the honeymoon phase,” he said. “They’ll grow out of it.” You smiled, placing your hand on Yelena’s thigh.
“How are you doing?” You whispered.
“Good,” she smiled. “Really good.”
*
Once dinner was over, you joined Tony, Vision, and Howard for a glass of whiskey on the balcony. The Elder Stark would pass out cigars but you refused one. It was tradition. You remembered begging your father to join because you wanted to be with him and Tony instead of your mother. You haven’t been on this balcony since you broke up with Wanda. You missed it. Sitting back in your chair, you sipped on your drink and listened to the three Starks talk with one another. Your mind wandered to Yelena. You knew Wanda wouldn’t try to do anything to save face with Maria but you were worried nonetheless. “So,” Howard said, looking at you. Oh boy. “You’ve been oddly quiet. Most nights we can’t get you to shut up.”
“Cool thanks,” you smiled, wrapping your hands around the glass. “I liked listening to you guys talk,” you admitted. “It reminded me of when we were younger and my father was here to join us.” That shifted the conversation and you were grateful until Vision directed it back to you.
“How are you and Miss. Belova?” He asked. You almost choked on your drink.
“We are good,” you smiled. “Just taking it slow and learning more about each other.” You were not giving this man more information to feed to his wife.
“That girl is smart,” Howard praised. “She is going to go far in that company.” Oh, you knew that. She was helping you, Sharon, and Natasha create a branch in California. You were waiting on approval to go ahead with the project.
“Is your relationship affecting your workplace dynamic?” Vision questioned. “You are technically her superior.” Your jaw clenched. You heard Tony shift in his seat, ready to defend you but you held up your hand.
“It has not,” you answered. “If she has any issues, she reports it to Sharon, and then Sharon reports it to me so there is a non-biased party in the middle,” you sat up in your chair. “Now I have a question for you, Viz. Did you have these same levels of concern with Pepper and your brother’s relationship? Or do you just have a problem with it because it’s me?” You smiled. “Excuse me gentlemen but I need a refill.” You stood up and walked back into the house. Walking into the empty kitchen, you dumped your drink in the sink and washed the glass.
“I’m guessing my son said something to upset you.” You chuckled at Maria’s statement.
“He didn’t upset me,” you said. Besides you knew Tony was giving him an earful. “Are you getting a cup of tea? I can make you some.” She nodded and sat down. You began to prepare it. Your mother and Maria were the ones that taught you how to make it. Maria said you could win anyone over with the perfect cup of tea.
“I like her,” Maria broke the silence. You looked at the matriarch. “I like the smile you get when you look at her.” You nodded.
“Yeah, she’s great,” you leaned on the counter as you waited for the water to boil. “Do you think my parents would have liked her?” You asked Maria the same question about Wanda.
“Take my hand,” you did. “As long as you were happy they would have loved whoever you brought home,” the kettle began to whistle. It was the same answer she had given before. You turned around to pour the water into the mug. “But yes, they would have loved her.” That was new. You smiled, loving the warm feeling that covered you.

“Let’s have a toast!” Sarah said, pushing an empty champagne glass in your hand. Laura came up behind her to fill it with a smile.
“She’s been waiting for this moment all day,” you chuckled and thanked the mother of 3. You became close to the Barton Family because of Yelena, you loved going to their house in Iowa. Once everyone had a drink and Lila and Morgan were given apple juice, Tony raised his glass.
“To a beautiful ceremony and a reception we’ll all forget.” You rolled your eyes. Sarah raised her glass next, and you gave her a pointed look to be nice.
“To picking someone that loves you as hard as you love them.” You mouthed a ‘thank you’ to your best friend.
“To looking hot and feeling hot.” Pepper cheered.
“To a long and happy life to the beautiful bride-to-be,” Laura added.
“Cheers!”

It was the Gala of the year, the anniversary of the day Stark Industries was founded. Everyone would be dressed to the nines, the best catering company would be hired and paired with the right drinks. At the end of the night, awards would be given, and there would be dancing, laughing, and sharing stories. Most importantly the press would be there. So much press. Everything had a place and a reason behind it. The type of food, the partners and competitors that were invited, and the way people arrived. It was the biggest headache for those who planned the party but when you stepped out of the car with flashing lights it was worth it. You arrived third to last, in front of Tony and Pepper and Maria and Howard. You rested your hand on Yelena’s thigh. It was the first big event you two were attending as a couple. She was wearing a high slight, dark blue dress with spaghetti straps. You were dressed in a black suit with a dark blue pocket square. Before you left, you gifted your girlfriend a diamond necklace which she was wearing. “Are you excited, sweetheart?” You asked, glancing at her.
“Fuck yeah. I’m ready to eat until I burst and drink alcohol I didn’t pay for,” you rolled your eyes, stopping the car and putting it in the park. A valet attendant would park it for you. You could hear the paparazzi and see the lights from their cameras.
“Have I told you how beautiful you look tonight?” Yelena smiled before capturing her lips with yours. It was a slow kiss and she pulled away before you could ruin her makeup. You could kiss her for hours if she let you. Every time you kissed her your stomach flipped.
“About 100 times, darling,” she said.
“Well I’ll tell you 100 more,” you kissed her again. “Let’s go woo the crowd, baby.” You got out first, waving to the crowd before running over to the passenger side. You opened the door and held out your hand. Yelena took it and you helped her out. The camera lights began to go crazy but your eyes were only on your girlfriend. You stared at each other for a moment before heading to the entrance. Then the questions started. ‘Y/n, how long have you been dating Yelena Belova?’ ‘Is this why you pushed so hard for the Wakanda Project?’ ‘Has this affected your working relationship?’ ‘Can you comment on Wanda and Vision’s relationship?’ But you paid no mind to them.
Oh, you remembered the headlines from the first event after your break up with Wanda and she attended it with Vision. ‘Maximoff is after a REAL Stark.’ ‘Y/n loses to the Starks again.’ It was brutal. Maria, the company’s PR, had to put out a lot of fires. You made it your mission to make her job as easy as possible. So you ignored the questions and you had a statement ready to go live tomorrow. You and Yelena stopped for one more picture before entering the venue. You felt a weight lifted off your shoulders, feeling safe within the building. Only selective reporters were allowed during the actual event. “I hate the press,” you mumbled, holding onto Yelena’s hand. She chuckled as her sister and Bucky walked over. The redhead was wearing a floor-length black strapless dress and Bucky wore a suit with his tie red that matched Natasha’s lipstick.
“I see you both made it through alive,” Natasha said.
“Barely,” Yelena teased.
“I don’t know how you deal with them all the time,” Bucky mumbled.
“With a lot of alcohol,” you smiled. “Let’s go drink.”
You were at the founder's table with the Starks plus Wanda, Pepper, Natasha, and Bucky. It was…special to say the least. You kept your hand on Yelena’s thigh while Wanda kept sending daggers your way. It was amazing to see how jealous she was as her new husband ignored her. You noticed Yelena’s drink was getting low as she was in a deep conversation with Pepper. You stood up and took her drink, whispering, ‘I’ll be right back,’ to your girlfriend. Before you could leave the table, Yelena turned to kiss you. You smiled and walked over to the bar. As you waited for the bartender, you heard a set of footsteps approaching you. You knew it was Wanda without having to turn around. You sighed. “What do you want Wanda?” You asked. “You’ve been starring daggers at me all night.”
“I don’t think Yelena is good for you,” She said, standing next to you. You gave yourself whiplash on how fast you turned to look at her, not hiding the shock by her blunt comment. “You both are in different stages of life. You are well established in your career and she’s just getting her footing. It’s not fair to you that she’s using you to get ahead.” Your jaw clenched. Oh, you were so close to losing your cool.
“It’s so nice that Vision looks like a loving and doting husband,” you deadpanned as the bartender put your drinks down. “Oh, I’m sorry I thought were saying things that aren’t true. Stay out of my relationship and I’ll stay out of yours.” As you grew into your career you learned to ignore what people said around you. It was damaging to your mental health to follow every rumor or lie spread about you. Even though your relationship wasn’t out to the public those you worked with knew. They were respectful at face value but you heard their whispers. They questioned the validity of your relationship with Yelena and you were only together to benefit the company or each other. It was ridiculous but your anxiety-induced brain made you question everything. Yelena was so far out of your league, that you wondered why she picked you.
You sat back down with your and Yelena’s drink. “Thank you, dorogoy (sweetheart),” she smiled but frowned suddenly. “What’s wrong?” She asked. You forced a smile and shook your head.
“Nothing,” you said, putting your arm behind her chair. “Don’t worry about it.” Yelena watched as Wanda returned to her seat, you could see the gears turning in her head. “Don’t,” you whispered in her ear and kissed her neck. “She’s not worth it.” She looked at you, her lips were inches from yours.
“Come with me,” she said. You knew there was no room for argument. You both excused yourself from the table as Tony cat-called you both. You fought the urge to flip him off as Yelena dragged you to a hallway. “What did she do?” She asked once you were alone.
“Nothing important,” you said, leaning against the wall. “Nothing that I know that isn’t true,” you looked away from the blonde. She sighed, closing the space, and used her finger to force you to look back at her.
“It’s bothering you. So I want to know how to help,” she smirked. “Or I can go over there and force her to tell me, you know I’ve been looking for a reason to kick her ass,” you chuckled. That would be a sight to see. You hated the idea of keeping stuff from her but you didn’t want to upset her. You sighed.
“She said you aren’t good for me,” you told her. “That you are just using me to advance your career.” Her green eyes went wide.
“You know that isn’t true, right?” She whispered. “I-I would never do that.” Tears began to swell in her eyes.
“Hey,” you brought her in for a hug. “I know you wouldn’t. No tears, okay? Don’t let that bitch ruin your makeup,” she laughed against your chest but you kept her in your arms when she didn’t pull away. “Sometimes,” you continued. “I can’t believe that I get to call you mine. You are so far out of my league that my mind likes to be my biggest enemy.” Yelena looked up at you.
“Have you looked in a mirror, detka (babe)?” She questioned. “Or hear what some of the newer associates say about you or read what the press writes?” You remembered the article that Tony joked about. You were New York City’s most eligible bachelorette for a while. “You have the looks, power, and money, and I’m out of your league.”
“Yes because you see as me and not as a Stark without the last name.”
“And I love you with or without the responsibility that comes with that name.” You stared at her.
“I love you too,” you said without hesitation and captured her lips. Someone coughing broke you both apart. It was Maria.
“As cute and disgusting as this is,” she smirked. “The award ceremony is about to start.” Ugh, that meant it was time for your speech.
“Thank you, Maria,” Yelena smiled. “We’ll be right out,” the brunette left, playfully pointing to her watch. “Ready?” You weren’t. You were dreading to go back to that table. As your girlfriend turned to leave, you pulled her back towards you. “What-?” you kissed her.
“Tell me again,” you whispered against her lips. She looked confused. “Please baby girl,” you pleaded. “Tell me again.” Her confusion disappeared and she smiled.
“I love you,” the blonde said. “I am yours and you are mine.” Your heart fluttered.
“I’m yours.”

“Are you excited?” Pepper asked, helping you put on Howard’s cufflinks. You waited for the click of the camera to go off before answering.
“I am,” you smiled. “I think I’m more excited for the reception than the ceremony.” Another photo. Pepper laughed.
“I was the same way,” she moved behind you to fix your collar and lay your bow tie flat. “I want you to know Yelena has helped you a lot but you’ve done amazing as well.” If Tony was the brother you never had, Pepper was the sister. You smiled. “It wasn’t easy but you opened up your heart again.”
“It was worth it,” you told her. “It was worth all the growing pains and hurdles we went through,” Pepper hummed. “And thank you for being there when I wasn’t. You have a lot on your plate and I’m sorry I added onto it.”
“Never apologize,” she placed your hands on your shoulders. “You are family,” you watched her smile through the mirror. “Now you are wedding ready.” You were wearing a cream three-piece suit. The blue jay pin was attached to your breast pocket and the color of your bow tie matched the sage green of the bridal party. You smiled back at her.

You loved your job. Loved it so much. But there were moments that you hated it. You figured that was common for any job. There was a pile of new hires, project requests, and yearly reviews that needed to be done. It seemed to be never-ending as the company continued to grow. You sighed, rolling your neck to release some of the tension, and got back to work. The hours seemed to keep passing but the piles of paper were never ending. A gentle knock on your office caused you to look up as Yelena walked in. “Hi,” you said. She looked concerned. “Are you okay?”
“Are you?” She countered. “We were supposed to meet at Kumos and you weren’t answering your phone. I was worried,” you glanced at the clock.
“Shit,” you stood up suddenly, knocking against your desk. The lamp rattled from the impact. “I’m so sorry. I lost track of time.” You rushed out. Your hands shook as you began to organize the papers on your desk.
“Hey, it’s okay.” But you shook your head.
“I should have been paying attention to the time,” you said. You felt the panic build in your chest. “I got busy with all this,” you gestured to the mess on your desk. “I’m not creating excuses,” you added on. “I-”
“Dorogoy (sweetheart),” she cut you off, raising her hands to stop you. You flinched from the sudden action. Yelena frowned, the worry evident on her face. “Baby,” she said slowly.
“I’m sorry,” you apologized. You needed to get out of here. Quickly, you ran into the bathroom and closed the door behind you. You locked it and slid down the wall until you hit the ground. It felt like there was a thousand pounds of pressure resting on your chest. Every breath you tried to take got caught in your lungs. Everything felt too small and too big at once like you were sinking and couldn’t get out.
 *
Yelena watched as you quickly ran into the small bathroom and slammed the door shut. The sound caused the blonde to snap out of her haze and rush to the door but she heard the door lock. “Fuck,” she mumbled. She knew banging on the door and pleading for you to come out would send you deeper into a panic attack. She’s had to calm her sister down from them. Fishing her phone out of her pocket she scrolled through her contacts. Tony was out of town. She wasn’t sure if she could get her sister involved and she sure wasn’t hell going to call Wanda. That left Pepper. The Russian has texted the CEO a handful of times, mostly regarding takeout when they were at the office late. She was running out of options and hit call. The CEO picked up on the second ring.
“Yelena,” she said slowly. “What’s wrong?” The blonde sighed and began to pace in front of your bathroom.
“I’m in Y/n’s office and she had a panic attack and locked herself in the bathroom. I didn’t know who to call or what to do,” Yelena rattled off. Pepper was silent on the other end.
“I’ll be right down,” she sighed in relief.
“Thank you. I owe you one,” Pepper chuckled.
“Don’t be ridiculous,” the CEO said. “You don’t owe me anything.”
*
You were still on the floor, back against the wall, and knees to your chest. Everything you tried to calm your breathing down didn’t work and you felt yourself panic all over again. “Hey, it’s me,” you heard Pepper say. “Can you open the door for me?” You couldn’t move. “Or do you want me to use Tony’s spare key?”
“Key,” you said. The door unlocked and Pepper slowly opened it. You watched with tears in your eyes as she closed it behind her and sat down next to you.
“When was the last time you washed this floor?” She joked. You laughed as the dam finally broke. “Come here,” she pulled in a side hug as you cried against her.
“Is-is she mad at me?” You asked.
“No, she’s just worried but we aren’t going to talk about that right now. I just need you to breathe.” You’ve been plagued by panic attacks all of your life and you were prescribed medication at 10 years old. Sometimes the pill didn’t help and your anxiety got the better of you. But this helped, being fully hugged by another person grounded you. You focused on the way Pepper slowed down her breathing and the scent of her floral perfume. “Tell me,” she finally said, drawing circles on your back. “What’s going through your head?” You let out a shaky breath.
“I got caught up in work,” you told her. “And I missed a date with Yelena. I panicked.”
“Why did you panic? Yelena told me you flinched when she raised her hands.” You did?
“I thought she was going to be mad at me,” you said slowly. Pepper pulled away from you to sit in front of you. She pulled your legs down so you could get more air in your lungs.
“Can you be honest with me for one question?” You nodded. “Did Wanda hit you?” Your eyes widened at the accusation.
“What? No, never,” Pepper didn’t look convinced. “I promise. Sometimes she would get upset if she thought I was prioritizing work over our relationship. It was my fault,” you defended. “I should have done better. I should have been better.” Pepper sighed.
“Honey, you and Tony are so much alike I have to remind myself you aren’t a full-blood Stark,” you smiled, wiping away some of your tears. “Do you know how many times he has missed a date because he was too busy? I’ll answer, a lot,” you chuckled. Half the time you were in the lab when Pepper came looking. She never got angry with him, a simple roll of her eyes and she asked what he was working on. You would order pizza or Chinese and the three of you would sit and talk and laugh. It was some of your favorite memories. “I knew he didn’t love me any less. His brain is just a little scattered just like yours.” That was an underestimate, you had so many thoughts and ideas running through your head it was a little overwhelming. “My guess is when you missed a date with Wanda you made it up to her an extravagant way the next day.” You nodded.
“Yeah,” you whispered. “I just didn’t want her to be upset with me. I-” You cleared your throat. “I sometimes flinch when someone raises their voice or moves their hands quickly. I love my parents but they argued a lot.”
“Have you told Yelena this?” You shook your head, looking down at your hands. “Why?”
“Wanda didn’t seem interested in helping me through it,” you shrugged. “I learned to manage it by myself.” Wanda was your first real girlfriend. You didn’t count quick flings in high school and college or random hookups here and there. You were too busy with work or school or managing your public image.
“Look at me,” you did. She was pissed. You’ve seen her with this dark look in her eyes when she was speaking to Stark’s competitors or dealing with the press. “I need you to listen to me, okay?” You nodded. “Yelena is not Wanda and I know it’s gonna take time for you to trust her with this part of you but doesn’t seem better to have some help with this,” you nodded. It was lonely, swimming in the dark cavern looking for a way out. Pepper smiled. “Do you want to speak with Yelena?”
“Yes, please,” you were surprised that she was still here. “Thank you, Pepper. I appreciate it.” The CEO stood up and walked over to the door.
“We are family, always have been, and always will be, got it?” You nodded. “Now follow up question, do you want me to kill Wanda?” Your jaw dropped but soon your laugh echoed against the bathroom walls. “I’m serious. I don’t care if she’s my sister-in-law or whatever.”
“No need,” you smiled. “Besides I think that list is pretty long.”
“Ain't that the truth,” Pepper winked at you before exiting that bathroom.
The door wasn’t closed for long as it reopened and Yelena walked in, taking the spot where Pepper sat. “Hi baby,” you whispered, holding out your hand. She took it. “First, I’m sorry I hid from you. I was just scared and stressed with work. Second, thank you for calling Pepper.” She nodded as she stared at your connected hands.
“What can I do to help?” She questioned. You raised your eyebrows in question. “Your panic attacks. What do you need?” Oh. Wanda never asked. “For me, I don’t like to be touched and the 5 senses counting down works best for me,” you frowned.
“I don’t know you got panic attacks.” Yelena chuckled.
“I bounced around Russian and American foster homes of course I have panic attacks.”
“Why haven’t you told me about them?”
“Why haven’t you told me about yours?” She countered. You sighed, looking away from her. “Not sure when the best time to talk about my past.” She squeezed your hand.
“Wanda didn’t bother to help me,” you admitted. “So I’ve learned to keep it to myself.”
“Hey,” she said softly. You looked at her. “I’m not Wanda. I’m here for the good and the bad, okay?” You nodded.
“Okay,” you whispered.

You were sitting on the couch while you listened to Sarah and Tony bicker back and forth. According to Maria, you were ahead of schedule so you had a few moments of peace before it got crazy again. “Knock, knock,” the door to your suite opened. Natasha walked in wearing a sage green dress.
“Looking good, Romanoff,” Tony whistled. The redhead rolled her eyes.
“You clean up nice, Stark,” she looked at you. “Can we talk?” You hated the way your stomach dropped.
“Yeah, of course,” you stood up and walked over to her. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing,” you gave her a pointed look. “Okay, Yelena had a small panic attack and locked herself in the bathroom. She’s refusing to come out.”
“Take me to her.” You said to her without hesitation.
“I can’t,” she sighed. “She doesn’t want you to see her.”
“I can speak to her through the door,” you reasoned with her. “Natasha, please.”
“Come on,” Natasha gave in. You left your suite without a word to your bridal party and followed her to her room where Yelena was getting ready. You were grateful for Natasha. If it wasn’t for her gentle push you knew you would have danced around your feelings for her sister, too scared to mess up your friendship with her.
  *
“Just send it over to me,” you said, pacing behind your desk. “No, I trust you completely but you have your hands full and I can help,” the door to your office quietly opened. You smiled at your girlfriend and put your finger up to tell her you would be done in a minute. “Hope, I promise it’s not that big of a deal.” Yelena pushed your chair out of the way and sat on top of your desk. You smiled. “I know the next time I’m in California we'll get drinks. Give my love to Scott and Cassie. Bye,” you hung up. Yelena spread her legs to make space for you. You through your phone onto the chair and placed your hands on her thighs. “What are you doing, baby?” You asked. She placed her arms around your neck.
“I was missing you,” you smirked.
“You saw me at the all-company meeting.” She huffed.
“Not the same and you know it,” she pouted. You chuckled, kissing her shoulder and up to her neck. She pulled you closer.
“You can’t stay long,” you mumbled inches away from her lips. “I have a meeting with your sister.” The blonde rolled her eyes, groaning slightly.
“Please never mention my sister and kiss me.” You obeyed because you could never deny her. You kept the kiss slow, not trusting yourself to get carried away. Yelena was intoxicating, that was the best way to describe her. You could get lost in the way she kissed and touched you.
“Yelena,” you warned when you felt her tug your hair slightly. “We can’t do this here.” You wanted to push all your work off your desk and take her right here but you couldn’t. The morning wasn’t enough for you.
“Your meeting with your Chief of Staff isn’t for another 45 minutes,” Yelena mumbled. “You can make me cum before then.” You groaned, resting your head on her shoulder.
“Baby girl,” you whispered, kissing her neck. “You can’t say stuff like that.” You heard her breathing hitch when your lips grazed a sensitive spot on her neck.
“Clocks a ticking, moya lyubov’ (my love),” the last of your restrain flew out of the window and you crashed your lips against hers. She smiled, grabbing onto you tightly as your fingers fiddled with the belt of her pants and unzipped the zipper.
“Do you have any idea what you do to me?” You asked, hands skimming underneath her shirt and goosebumps erupted on her skin. “It’s so hard to keep my hands off of you.”
“Pozhaluysta (please), don’t tease me.” You chuckled, nipping at the skin underneath her ear. You were careful to not leave any visible marks.
“I got you, sweetheart,” you promised. “I’ll always have you.” You trailed your hand down her chest and trailed your finger underneath her pants, the door of your office opened. Yelena jumped, zipping up her pants.
“Ugh,” Natasha groaned. “Not you two too,” she walked over to your desk with the paperwork for your meeting. “I already have to worry about walking in on Carol and Val.” Yelena burrowed her face in the crook of your neck unable to look at her sister. You chuckled.
“Please, I’ve walked in on you and Bucky so many times,” Natasha smirked.
“A little tip, lock the door,” she hit Yelena on the shoulder. “Come on sestra you can get laid on company time after our meeting.” You felt the blonde let out a small huff and jump off your desk, kissing you softly. Your girlfriend flipped her sister off before leaving your office and closed the door behind her.
“Shut up,” you said, sitting down in your chair.
“I have to go bleach my eyes after this meeting,” you rolled your eyes as Natasha sat down. But that smirk was still on her face. “Or drink it so I can forget the image of you having your hand down my sister’s pants.”
“My hand was not down her pants,” you deadpanned. Natasha glared at you. “Whatever, let’s get this meeting going.” Natasha chuckled.
“Of course, someone has a meeting to have an orgasm.”
*
Natasha opened the door to the suite and it was empty of Yelena’s bridal party. She opened the closed door. “Thank you.”
“I’ll give you space. Call me if you need anything,” you nodded and walked over to the bathroom door, gently knocking on the door.
“Go away,” her voice shook. You fought every nerve in your body to break down the door and wrap her in your arms.
“Sweetheart, it’s me.” She was silent on the other side.
“You're not supposed to see me.” You smiled.
“I’m behind the door, my love. I can’t see you, I promise. Can you tell me what’s going on?” You could hear her breathing begin to pick up. “Hey, hey,” you cooed. “Count for me, baby. 5 things you can see.” You wondered if she heard you as she was so quiet.
“Natasha’s makeup bag, a hair dryer, my towel, Melina’s robe,” she laughed. “And a bottle of vodka Alexei left.” You laughed along with her. You loved Melina and Alexei, the odd couple who always made you laugh.
“Good job sweetheart. 4 things you can touch.”
“Bathroom mat, the door, the tile floor, and the silk of my robe.” You praised her each time she counted something in the bathroom that went along with her senses until her breathing slowed down. “I’m sorry,” she whispered. “You shouldn’t have to deal with me like this,” you shook your head even though she couldn’t see you. You sat down with your back against the door.
“Nonsense,” you said. “You will always be my number one priority. So why did you lock yourself in the bathroom?” You asked. You heard her sigh.
“People are going to be looking at me,” she finally said. You kept the snarky comment at bay; ‘Well it is your wedding.’ You knew there was more. “And I started to panic because what if I fall or mess up my vows or Alexei embarrasses me.” You smiled.
“Well, he’s already going to do that so that’s a given,” she chuckled. “Do you want to call off the wedding?” Yelena gasped.
“No, no. I think Natasha would kill me,” You knew she would never do that. “And I’m not doubting I want to marry you,” well that was a relief. “I just panicked.” You hummed. “You must think I’m stupid.”
“Never, baby, I understand anxiety better than most people. There are going to be a lot of eyes on both of us but do you know where my eyes will be?”
“Where?” Yelena questioned.
“On you. I don’t care about anybody else,” you truthfully said. “And you just have to keep your eyes on me. Nobody else matters,” she was quiet as you brought one leg up to your chest and chuckled. “Do you remember when I asked you to marry me?”
“Before or after I punched you,” she deadpanned. You laughed which caused Yelena to laugh along with you. You asked her to marry her on parent’s farm. She was in disbelief at the question her instinct was to punch you. It got a laugh out of everyone that was there to witness it but she said yes.
“Happiest day of my life,” you admitted. “Well, that is a lie, every day spent with is the happiest day of my life.”
“That was disgustingly cute,” you rolled your eyes. “I love you.”
“I love you too,” you smiled. “So are we going to get married today?” You heard rustling on the other side of the door, you figured she was standing up. You mirrored her actions. The clicking of the door unlocked and it opened slightly. She brought out her hand and you took it.
“See you are the alter,” you kissed her hand.
“See you there.”
*
Oh, you were going to throw up. You wanted to take back everything you said. You were nervous as Maria kissed your cheek and Howard hugged you, and they left you at the altar. They took their seats next to the empty ones you left for your parents. Next was the wedding party and you felt Tony grab onto your shoulder. “You are going to cause an earthquake for how much you are shaking,” he mumbled. “Breathe.” You nodded as Cooper and Nate walked down the aisle followed by Lila and Morgan. The music changed, the crowd stood up, and there she was.
“Holy shit,” you said, smiling. You heard Tony and Pepper chuckle at your reaction. It was the first time you saw the dress. Yelena went dress shopping with Melina, Natasha, Laura, and Pepper when you were on a work trip. The dress had a lace top and the style hugged every curve. It had a beautiful train behind her. Every guest's eyes were on her, she was the star of the show but her green eyes were only on you. Alexei kissed Yelena on the top of her head when they stopped in front of you and he turned to face you.
“You hurt, my little girl, I will kill you,” he deadpanned but you saw the joke in his eyes. “I have the skills to do it.” You rolled your eyes at the man.
“Dad,” Yelena warned but Alexei ignored his daughter and hugged you tight.
“You are good for her,” he whispered. “You keep her heart good.” He let you go and joined Melina at his seat. You took her hands and smiled.
“Hi,” you said. “You didn’t fall.” Yelena chuckled softly.
“No,” she whispered. “My eyes were only on you.”
*
With the ceremony over, changed into your reception suit, and a plate full of food, you made your way back to the sweetheart's table. You stopped as you saw Wanda walking with Carol. You knew she RSVP you still weren’t sure if she’d come. Placing your bowl of mac and cheese down and took a sip of your drink. Damn your wife for getting you addicted to the cheesy pasta. Wife. Yelena was your wife. You loved the sound of that. You walked over to your ex. To your surprise, she smiled when she saw you. “I wasn’t sure you’d come.” You admitted.
“You are the one that invited me.”
“Well, you invited me to yours. I was just returning the favor,” You looked around the venue. “Where’s the hubby?” You questioned.
“Watching the twins,” you raised your eyebrow.
“He doesn’t like me very much does he?” You asked. She didn’t answer but her smile told you everything. There was a time you hated the man too but you learned to let that emotion go. It was better to move forward and not get stuck in the past.
“I wanted to apologize to you and at some point Yelena.” That was odd. “Natasha knocked some sense into me.” You chuckled. “So I’m sorry.” You crossed your arms.
“For what exactly?” There was a lot she needed to apologize and you wondered what she was going to pick. Wanda sighed.
“I have a lot to apologize for but I’m sorry for everything I said about you and Yelena. It was done in poor taste and I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness.”
“I’m not giving it to you,” her face showed the shock she was in. “I don’t think you realize how damaging your actions and words hurt me and the person I love.”
“Why did you invite my family?” She asked.
“I could ask you the same question,” You moved to stand next to her to overlook the party. Yelena was doing a shot with Natasha, Bucky, and Alexei. She changed out of her wedding dress into a white jumpsuit. You loved the way she was smiling. “I don’t like how things ended between us,” you stated. “At one point you were my best friend but it got us to where we needed to be. You with Vision and me with Yelena. I guess it counts for something,” You looked at Wanda, who was frowning. “You aren’t happy with Vision, are you?” Wanda sighed, shrugging her shoulders.
“Not as happy as I thought I’d be.” You wondered what was going on behind closed doors. You hummed.
“Maybe that’s your problem, Wanda. The talent behind happiness is appreciating and liking what you have, instead of what you don’t have.” You walked over to Yelena, wrapping your arms around her waist. “Having fun?” You asked. She excitedly nodded her head.
“I beat Bucky at Pennies,” she said, smiling at you sheepishly. You squeezed her waist to get her to tell you what she was hiding. “You are going to need more mac and cheese, I ate yours.” You gasped.
“Baby!” You spun her around in your arms as she laughed. “We have an all-you-can-eat mac and cheese bar and you eat mine.” Her laughter continued as she rested her chin on your chest. “Why did you eat mine?”
“Because it was just sitting there and I like how you make yours and I couldn’t let it get cold so I ate it.” She giggled.
“God, I fucking love you,” you mumbled, kissing her.
“ya tozhe tebya lyublyu, moya zhena (I love you too, my wife)”
“Moya zhena (my wife),” you repeated and kissed her again.

Sabotage is a Girl’s Best Friend
Yelena Belova x F!R | Wanda x Natasha
Request (I lost it, but it was a simple / easy to remember- Jealous Yelena who sabotages every date R has until she’s caught) | WC: 3,959
Tumblr media
Yelena quirked a brow at you as you waltzed into her room, having slammed her door into the wall to emphasize your frustrations, you fell back onto her occupied bed and groaned, "That was the third failed date this month!"
"Maybe love isn't in your future Y/N Y/L/N."
"No, it is. I just think you're finding the duds."
Natasha looked down at you with a smirk, it was almost as if she knew something you didn't, but you knew there was no point asking. Because the redhead did know, but she would never say it to you for her little sister's sake.
——
She knows what it's like to have to learn how to be a human being again, to develop deep feelings like the ones Yelena so clearly has for you. It's not too far off from her agonizingly slow love story with Wanda. However, the witch was aware of her feelings the whole time.
You're oblivious. Painfully so. Watching you two together is entertainment for the couple.
Wanda's almost always ready to meddle, but the redhead always stops her. She knows that Yelena would hopelessly ruin things if forced into it too soon. Which would be a real shame, because Natasha was rooting for you wholly; Yelena was good at keeping you, the resident klutz, safe, and you softened Yelena's heart.
The blonde deserved to have someone she could be care free with, and that loved her.
Natasha knew you loved her, so, as soon as you left the room she began to harass her sister.
"Yelena, you can't keep doing this to her."
Yelena sighed, hands over her face in shame. "I have no other choice." Her shoulders shook as she held back a sob. "I can't lose her when I haven't even had a chance to have her yet."
"Then make a move," Nat urged, her hand tight as it squeezed her shoulder encouragingly. "I hate seeing her so dejected, you're going to give her a complex. Tell her the truth, then the both of you can have the happy ending you deserve."
Yelena scoffed, "Y/N deserves better Natalia."
"You are plenty enough Lena," Natasha sighed.
"Not for her." Yelena shook her head with a hoarse sob, and so the redhead pulled her into a tearful hug. "Y/N loves you just the same, and would be crushed to hear you say that."
You wiped away the tears, nodding towards the closed door in agreement as you heard them. A bittersweet smile overtook your face as you took determined steps towards your bedroom.
If she wouldn't make the damn move, then you would have to. Starting by catching her in the midst of sabotaging yet another date. One you'll have set up for the both of you after she hopefully confesses instead of running away.
Natasha left her sister's room half an hour later after she got Yelena to lay down as she sobbed. Putting the broken blonde to sleep, and letting the redhead make her way to your room fast. Part of her was relieved you'd eavesdropped, but the other part was ready to pummel you.
When she finally found you she was even more frustrated, ready to go off on you until you turned to her with a smile and reddened eyes.
"I was thinking I'd ask Tony to rent me the entire arcade," you murmured over the pen that was now in your mouth. Natasha smirked as she stared down at your long list of ideas.
"The Kraft Factory Tour, is that even a thing?"
You shrugged your shoulders and giggled, "I'm an Avenger, I'm sure they'd make it happen."
Your easy laughter made the redhead hopeful, but she still felt a protectiveness for Yelena. So, Natasha abruptly caught you by the chin, her eyes hardened as she peered into yours. You gave her time to figure out your intentions, and once she did you felt her finger tap your nose.
"You leave the date to me," she grinned, "It'll make Wanda so happy to help, and it gives you time to plan your monologue, make it good."
A week went by, giving the blonde false hope that you'd given up. Sadly she wasn't that lucky, so now Yelena paced the floor of the elevator as it slowly descended the many floors. How you kept finding people was truly of no shock to her. You were perfect, so much so that she knew that one day she'd lose you for good. To the one smart person who fought back, who saw through her bluff and to your worth.
It honestly upset her every time they ran out of the bathroom with their tails between their legs. Forfeiting a chance with you was a sin.
This time you were going to a rage room, it didn't seem like much of your thing, but she just assumed your partner (to never be) picked.
As the blonde exited the elevator she was in a hurry, which is why Tony should've known to steer clear of her path, but he stood in it.
"Belova, just the person I was looking for." She rolled her eyes, and attempted to walk by, but he mistakenly stopped her with a hand on her wrist. She spun their bodies and slammed him into a wall. "Speak your words, don't touch."
Tony stuttered, "W-we have a mission."
"I am off the clock," was her quick, dry reply before she left the building in a focused stride.
The brilliant idiot had cost her time, something she couldn't afford to lose any of while trying to stop you, once again, from falling in love. It was growing exhausting, your constant flow of dates never seemed to cease. They always gave her an uneasy feeling, but this time it was only heightened by the revelation that Sarah, your old mission partner from your shield days, had asked you out. The pre-established connection was anxiety inducing. What if she is the one?
That was preposterous... Yelena was the one.
Even if you didn't understand that yet, she knew that one day she'd have the courage to tell you. It was the only destiny she banked on.
Once she made it outside of the compound she wasted no time climbing onto her tricked out bike, weaving through traffic with ease as she raced to get to you. She parked a lot away then sprinted into the building to find you and the brunette with the pretty smile, and doe eyes wrapped up in a reminiscent embrace. Her heart sank, but she didn't let it stop her.
As if fate was on her side the woman excused herself from your chat, and headed off towards what she could only assume to be the restroom. It was the easiest rendezvous spot Yelena had come to find out with every date she'd foiled.
Yelena made her way there fast, her heart on the verge of exploding as she wondered if Sarah would finally be the one to fight back. Not that she'd win, the blonde hadn't taken things to the next level with her threats, but she was willing to do anything for your love.
"Listen up," she didn't waste time as she began her speech before the door even full opened. A frown overtook her face though when she waltzed in to find her sister's girlfriend on the counter instead, wearing a playful smirk.
"I'm listening Belova." Natasha took her sisters silent glaring as a warning, so she emerged from the shadows of the large stall and took the liberty of locking the door before the blonde could bolt. The clicking of metal made the blonde turn to shoot the glare her sister's way instead, it was basically heatless. Yelena was masking the hurt from the betrayal, she was beyond terrified that the plan set in motion here was to prevent her from stopping you.
"Move out of the way Natalia!" She growled, her fists flexed, and the redhead rolled her eyes. Yelena hated not being taken seriously so she resorted to slamming her into the door. "If she and Sarah leave here together I will never speak to you again. This isn't fair to do!"
"Yeah, you're right Lena, it isn't!" She scoffed and pushed her sister backwards. The blonde caught herself before falling to the ground and raised her fist, ready to deliver a punch that was halted by swirls of red tickling her skin.
"Let me go Wanda Maximoff, or so help me..."
Wanda cut her off, "If you two would stop the bickering then you'd know that's exactly why we're here. To help you to get your love."
Yelena narrowed her eyes at the smug smirk on her sister's face. Natasha knew just how to push her sister's buttons, but never in a way that would be truly damaging. It felt justified to her to scare the blonde, to show her that her childish behavior would fail her eventually.
"How will I get my love if you've trapped me?"
"Are you truly incapable of figuring it out?" Wanda groaned as she flitted around the space to prepare her station. "Y/N figured you out."
"N-no, I-I was so careful." Yelena's teeth pierced the skin of her lip as the anxiety began to consume her. "Who the hell told her?!"
Natasha pulled her into a hug, her hands ran down the younger girls back as she let her sob into the fabric overlaying her chest. Then as the sobbing ceased Natasha spoke: "You did."
"I did no such thing!" Yelena pulled back, her defenses even higher at the crazy insinuation. "Don't be crazy. I would never say anything."
"She heard us last week," Natasha fed her the obvious information, "I guess I didn't wait long enough for her to leave before I scolded you."
Yelena was once again ready to annihilate her sister, but Wanda yanked her into a chair, and magically bound her to the seat. "The point isn't to place blame, but it's instead to rejoice that the cats out of the bag, and to get you ready for the date. Save the simmering rage for the rooms full of priceless antiques." Wanda pouted at the thought of the old televisions being smashed to pieces, and for the first time the sisters were in sync with their eye rolls.
"Moya lyubov', are you serious?" Natasha couldn't stop from laughing. "Deadly." The look Wanda sent her lovers way stopped it.
"Seriously?" Yelena wasn't afraid of Wanda. "It's all just junk witchy. We're in the new ages. Like, did you know you could make mac and cheese in a cup now? How revolutionary."
Wanda slapped the both of them upside their heads with the flick of her red shaded hand. Wanda ignored their grumbles in protest as she pulled a stunning outfit from a garment bag. It was fancy enough for the dinner Wanda had booked later, but practical for the rage room you two wouldn't budge on. "Go change before the clock strikes 12 and your princess bails."
Yelena looked to Natasha, eyes wide as she processed the reality. Her fingers consequently turned white as she squeezed the hanger, and the redhead took a step forward so she could press her forehead to hers. "Y/N's waiting for you Yelena, she's not going to reject you."
"How do you figure? What if she only agreed to this so that she could yell at me?" Natasha chuckled softly, "Because, she asked her friend who is engaged to play the part tonight, and she picked this dingy place with you in mind."
Yelena fiddled with her hands as she was escorted to the massive gymnasium. "Breathe," Natasha whispered, then before she could she was briskly shoved into the lions den. It was a massive space, the biggest room they'd rented out to people actually, and she was enamored.
In the corner stood an attendant who was patiently waiting for her to meet him by a door. Her eyes flitted around the room to find a wide variety of things to break, along with weapons to use for the objective. If not for you waiting on her as well she would've kept her pace leisurely, but she quickly made her way over.
"Welcome ma'am," he greeted with a fake smile, she could empathize as that's how she approached most people at the compound.
"I am not old enough to be a ma'am," she said, her tone nothing short of menacing, and then her glowering expression fell into a smile at the sound of your distant laughter. She didn't even pay him anymore attention as she followed the sound to a room full of various white suits.
"Glad you'd graced me with your presence Belova, I was starting to think I was stood up."
Yelena smirked. "You are." You rolled your eyes, but contradicted your gesture with the casual slip of your hand into hers as the man walked in to give the both of you the spiel.
It was comical really, the barely legal boy-man was informing two highly trained Avengers how to be careful with their chosen weaponry. He'd been prepared to tell you about the ways in which you should hold a sledgehammer as you swing it when the blonde decided to tell him how she's broken many bones with them.
He left in a rush after that, and wished you both a good time. Yelena cackled as she put on the suit, meanwhile you only shook your head.
Once the two of you were alone, and the humor had faded the vibe suddenly became tense. So without a moment's hesitation you led the way back into the destruction zone and began to shatter things with a wooden baseball bat.
Yelena followed your lead, using the previously mentioned sledgehammer to destroy a line of white, old-timey washers and dryers. Both of your minds were running wild with worst case scenarios, and with each slam of your weapon into something that shattered they'd settle.
After about ten minutes of grunting and swinging it was you who finally broke the silence that Yelena found a bit too comforting. When the wood hitting the floor echoed through the space she gently set her weapon against the wall and slowly walked over to you.
You met her halfway, leaning onto a beaten up box-tv with your arms crossed. "Why did you never just tell me Lena? I-I would've waited."
"I didn't understand until it was too late," she admitted softly, you could hear the emotion she was desperately trying to suppress. "You went out with Darcy, and when it didn't work I was elated. Then there was Carol, who left the next day for space, but seeing her flirting was enough to make me want to throttle her."
"Everything there was just a fling. I wanted to ask you out, but every time love was brought up you cringed and mocked the concept. So, I started to try dating seriously considering it was my only remaining option. Then I just thought with every failed attempt that maybe I was the problem, just simply undesirable."
"No, don't say that, you're the most desirable!"
"I don't get it though Lena," you smiled sadly, "You could have anyone you want. Why me?"
Yelena frowned, something she'd never done with you stood in front of her before. Normally she couldn't help but to smile, but your words of self doubt wounded her greatly. In all the time she spent worrying she wasn't enough for you, she never considered you would be in the same boat as her. "Why not you Y/N?"
"Do you know how many gorgeous people would kill to date you Yelena? The line would be out the door, and yet you settle for me."
She shook her head and threw a hand in the air to hush you. "Don't do that. I do not ever settle. I win. This is no different. You are one of those gorgeous women, you are the most perfect."
You chuckled humorlessly, "I'm far from it."
"You are blind," the blonde snapped, she swung the bat and sent a few glass bottles into the wall before she dropped it and walked up to you with a few glass plates in her hand now.
"Comparing yourself to a world full of people who couldn't even catch my attention. They are all nothing when held up next to you." Yelena held up a gorgeous black plate adorned with fancy gold trimming, and beside it a boring white plate with faded floral printing. Then she smirked as the latter shattered into tiny pieces.
Yelena set the fancy dish to the side then she brought your hand to her lips for a sweet kiss. "In a world full of ugly, you are the beauty; If my line is out the door, then it's safe to say that yours has to be around the globe. Which makes sense with all the dates I've had to crash."
"You didn't have to," you teased with a short laugh to follow. "I would've said no if I knew you wanted me the same way I did you."
Yelena's mouth fell open, nothing but splutters left as her tongue practically fell limp. She was a trained spy, with Natasha at her side this whole time screaming of your reciprocation, but she still felt bamboozled at the revelation.
"I knew I loved you ever since I saw you at that charity drive," Yelena confessed with a shake in her tone that usually isn't there. "When you helped that legless toddler find her furrever friend in that little calico kitty that matched."
You narrowed your eyes playfully, "Yeah?"
Yelena nodded without hesitation, it was your genuine intention that had her fall into the pits of the unknown. At the time she took it to be envy, but then she saw you go on a date with Darcy and she quickly realized the truth as she met and befriended the green eyed monster.
"I win then," you challenged, "I loved you so much earlier than that." Yelena shook her head and groaned, "Please don't say at first sight, that's just illogical." You giggled, then pondered allowed, "What about second?"
Yelena tried to remember what day it could've been, but she was stumped. "You were new, and practically attached at Natasha's hip. If anyone even tried to get close you'd glare."
Yelena hummed, she didn't doubt you at all.
"Well, it was the middle of the night when I found you in the kitchen. You looked so sad, and for a moment I could feel this pull. Fate decided it best to let me slip only seconds later, and it was in the moment that you caught me, as I sorta fell for you, that I knew you were it."
"Oh," Yelena felt her entire body warm at the sweet origin story for your emerging story. "Yeah," you giggled before throwing yourself into her body, she initially stiffened, but in a blink she was pulling you even closer to her.
For a moment the room was silent, the two of you felt the serenity deep in your bones. Then, in true Yelena fashion she had to interrupt it. "By the way, I don't need people to kill for me, I can do it by myself, and for you of course."
"Oh goodness me baby, I will never tire of your humorous little quips." Yelena wanted to say she was being serious, her words weren't intended as a joke, but she decided to settle into the joy you felt, plus, her heart was too busy hammering at your chosen endearment.
Your session wasn't over yet, but there wasn't any anger left to latch onto, so you took her hand and escorted her to the changing room. Both of you helped the other out of the plastic suits, then on your way out you thanked the couple who helped you plan it all, and tossed the redhead her sister's keys. "Don't—."
"Don't crash the bike, I know... I can't believe you'd even say such a thing to me." Yelena went to rebuttal, but you pulled her away before the sisters could bicker—again.
The rest of the night was a dream, the two of you skipped out on the fancy dinner after only seeing food she'd never tried before. Yelena was a picky eater, and by that notion, if there were no chicken tenders on the menu (there weren't), then you could count her out.
She'd frowned initially, but gulped down her budding resentment for your sake. But you knew the girl like the back of your hand, so without a word you left a hundred on the table as a tip for the inconvenience, then grabbed her hand. "W-where are we going dorogoy?"
You spun around to face her with a bright smile after hearing the slip of a Russian pet name. It nearly sent the woman to her knees to have you that close, she wondered if you were like her own kryptonite. She didn't fully get the nerdy references Peter made, but she still tried.
"We are going to McDonald's." Yelena looked ecstatic for all of two seconds, then she pouted thinking she ruined the night. "I'm sorry."
"Yelena, this night belongs to us. Not Wanda, nor Natasha, it's about what we enjoy. You'd have likely barfed if I let you sacrifice your tastebuds for the sake of my own. Plus, I hate the ambiance of these sorts of restaurants."
Yelena nodded in understanding, the lack of lighting made it near impossible for her to even see the menu full of options she didn't favor. It made gawking at you near impossible as well.
"McDonald's is so much better, they have a play center, there's options for all, and most importantly I can actually see you smile."
"I can still eat here if you want Y/N," she tried, but to her delight you'd playfully shook your head and then caught her completely off guard. You'd leaned forward to peck her cheek, you felt as her lips turned as you lingered, then you both felt your stomach's swarming joyfully.
When you once again tried to walk away you were stopped by a hand on your wrist that seamlessly moved to your waist. Yelena held your gaze for a long moment, then as she found no hesitation from you she leaned forward and it was as if all of her worries disappeared.
Under the dimly lit streetlights in the barren parking lot the blonde felt her heart mend. As your lips perfectly slotted between her own, and your body melted beneath the pads of her fingertips it was as if the world rewarded her.
A lifetime of pain endured led her to this moment, with your body pressed against the door of your car. She reasoned it was all worth it for this kiss that signified a beginning.
One that everyone knew to be long overdue.
"You ready to go eat moya lyubov'?" Natasha whispered against the nosy witches cheek as she nuzzled against her affectionately from behind. "The dinner reservation expire soon."
Wanda watched as Yelena's hand began to wander, and suddenly the matchmaker trance was upended. "Let's go Natty bear, I want some caviar, this day has officially drained me."
Natasha bit back her snark in favor of not sleeping on the couch, her neck had yet to recover from the last time. She resided with silence, even if they both knew the only thing to be significantly drained tonight is her wallet...
At least the card she gave to Yelena was Tony's.

The pressing weight of your backpack dug into your shoulders as you quickly made your way to Yale’s school of art. Though your major was in English, you had connections that allowed you to use the photography facilities located elsewhere. Your bag was full of books, film equipment, and the negatives that you were anxious to develop.
It was college game day, the Harvard vs. Yale game to be more specific, so shoving through blue and red crowds of students was at the bottom of your list. Your trip to the dark room had to be short because even though you hated the idea of all things sports, you felt that tradition outweighed your personal grievances.
As you shut the door to the room and found yourself alone with the quiet, red space, your mind seemed to lighten. The pictures you had brought with you made their way out of your bag and into the developing process. You went through the usual motions until you hung them up to dry. Before you were beautiful headshots and silhouettes of your roommate, Yelena.
While most were taken with the consent of Yelena, there were some too extraordinary to possibly miss out on. The red hues accentuated the curves you so desperately longed to stroke. Of course, this information was unbeknownst to her.
She was the reason why you were so anxious to develop the pictures. Looking through the lense that wonderful day made you so much more excited to see them all finished. The day had been an exciting one. During the summer before the two of you went back to school you had a day at the beach. The weather was perfect, and she was perfect. She wore this lilac swim set that complimented her blonde hair and summer kissed skin so well you thought you would never be able to tear your eyes away from her.
As you went through each picture of her smiling, laughing, and being her usual self you came across the pictures that you tried so hard not to take. Your desire got the better part of you at this moment. The pictures arose of her laying belly down on her towel, a perfect view of her toned back paired with her other curves you could barely speak of. It was hard not to think about that day without becoming wildly sad that she had no idea you liked her with everything inside you.
These few intimate pictures would go where the rest of them are; hidden away in your journal. It was easier this way because you didn’t want to ruin your friendship that you valued so much. But what if she felt the same? You pulled yourself out of your delusions or else you might start to have hope.
She must have read your mind because your phone started ringing and as you pulled it out of your bag, Yelena’s face was vibrating on your screen.
“Hello?” you answered
“Where are you? You better not still be in that stupid dark room!” The sound of massive crowds were loud on the other side of the phone, but your voice drowned out every noise that could be taking place.
“Ha, funny story…”
“Seriously! The game starts soon, y/n. Hurry!”
“You miss me or something, Belova?”
She chuckled once. “And if I did?”
There was silence on your end because your one moment of bravery was already spent, leaving you speechless. “Uhm I’ll start heading your way right now. I should only be about 15 minutes out.”
“Perfect, I’ll save you a seat!”
“Thanks, Lena. Love you, bye,” you said naturally.
It was only then did you realize the words that slipped out of your mouth. Love you, really? You hoped that she thought it wasn’t how you really meant it.
After your stupid mistake, you took your pictures, tucked them away in your journal, and took off out of the building. The day was sunny but the fall crisp in the air took the edge off of the heat from the sun. Even from far away you could hear the triumph of the marching band playing their game day songs. Though your dislike of sports was one thing, there was a certain feeling you got on days like this; the music, the people, the adrenaline, that really made you succumb to the American tradition.
Finding Yelena in the crowd would be the easy part, the hard part would be keeping your eyes off her the entire afternoon. Luckily, she generally picked the same area each game day to sit so it wouldn’t be an extreme challenge to spot her out.
Your suspicion came true when you saw her jumping up and down a few aisles up from the front towards the 40 yard line. She was dressed in her usual Yelena chic, but with a hint of school spirit. You smiled to yourself at her excitement for the game and waited to see if she noticed you walking up to greet her.
“You’re here!” she yelled. She shuffled through other people on her row and fell into your arms. The strong smell of her cologne filled your nose and warmed your heart. You hugged her tightly back and squeezed the leather jacket that was draped around her. “You almost missed the game,” she whined.
“Lena, kickoff hasn’t even started, but I see that hasn’t stopped you from starting early.” You eyed the cold beer she had in her Yale koozie.
“Oh hush and let me be. Now get in there so we can watch.” As you were sneaking past other students Yelena tapped you on the ass and giggled. This was nothing unusual for Yelena, but each time she did it, it made your cheeks glow red.
The two of you settled into your places in the stadium surrounded by a couple of your friends and watched the game begin. The first half of the game was intense with each team up and down on scores. When the buzzer sounded to notify it was halftime everyone seemed to sigh in relief. The crowds started to shuffle again to take a quick intermission before the second half.
“So y/n, what photos were you able to get this time?” Yelena asked.
It was the question you were avoiding answering. If you pulled out the few you wanted to show her, the rest you spent your time hiding would be exposed as well.
“Oh they weren’t anything important, just a couple rolls I hadn’t developed yet.” You tried to play it cool not to give it away.
“Everything of yours is important to me.” Her saying that just made it so much harder to keep them all a secret. “Come on, please show me.”
She gave you her best pouty face and it was so unfortunate that it worked. You rolled your eyes and tried to open the journal in your bag so you could find the pictures you wanted her to see. Once they were all collected you passed them over to her and her face lit up.
“The day at the beach! I remember these.” She flipped through them with a grin on her face. She laughed when the picture of you popped up with your pants soaking yet from the ocean waves. “You were so pissed.”
“Pissed is an understatement,” you added. She smiled up at you and your stomach was tied up in knots. You weren’t sure whether it was the dimples that just so sneakily showed up, her rosy lips, or the bright green eyes that you could finally see without her sunglasses getting in the way.
“These are so amazing— you’re amazing. I need copies of these,” she begged.
“Anything for you,” you smiled.
“Anything?” Yelena smirked.
Your cheeks darkened red. “Shut up.” You shoved her a little with your shoulder.
By the time you showed all your creations off to Yelena the second half of the game was in full swing.
The second was more intense than the first due to Yale being behind for most of the game. Yelena was starting to become too anxious for your liking, and you hoped for her sake that you guys could pull out the win. There was a minute left on the clock and Yelena practically had your arm in a chokehold.
“Fucking run the ball, jackass!” Yelena yelled.
“Hey now, you wanna simmer down a little for me?” you asked, hoping to calm her down a bit.
She chuckled a little and leaned into your arm more. “Sorry, sorry. Anything for you,” she mocked from your previous words.
She quickly turned her head back so she could enjoy the last minute of the game. Her grip only became tighter around your arm as the clock ticked down to the wire. The whistle sounded to indicate that Yale called for a timeout. They needed to sort out their plans if they were going to try and pull out this win. They were down 28-24 with only around 30 seconds to go.
Once they were back in the game the crowd went wild, Yelena included. Number 13 got a hold of the ball and ran all the way to the end zone for a touchdown. Yelena screamed like she never had before and threw her hands up in the air. You cheered along with her at your school’s win. Yelena jumped into your arms out of excitement and you held her tightly as you swept her up in the air.
“We did it, Lena!” you cheered.
She found her footing back on the ground and she grabbed your face and looked into your eyes. “We did it!” The pure shock on your face made her recoil back a bit which resulted in her having matching cheeks just like yourself. “Uh- I- I’m sorry.”
“No, no. You didn’t do anything wrong,” you smiled. “Let’s just get out of here before we’re all packed in.”
You said goodbye to your friends right before a Yelena grabbed your hand to lead you through the crowd. You knew it meant nothing, but having your hand in hers was a dream come true.
When you had made it out of the crowd, it seemed as though the two of you forgot you were still linked together. You quickly broke it off before she could say anything about it.
“So, are we going to keep walking with nowhere to go or are you taking me out?” Yelena smirked.
“Am I what?” you questioned.
“You really are worked up today.” Yelena laughed, but you knew it was true and you didn’t know how else to hide it.
“Why don’t we go back to my dorm? My roommate isn’t there like usual so we could watch a movie or something?”
“Do you have popcorn?” she asked and you nodded. “Then it’s a deal.”
The two of you talked and laughed on the walk to your dorm. Like usual, Yelena made it so difficult to not stare at her. She had such a unique confidence that drew you deeper and deeper into her presence. The way she carried herself was like no other.
When you made it into your room Yelena immediately started searching for your snacks that you kept in the drawers under your bed. You set your things down on your desk and sat down in your chair.
“Do you mind if I borrow some of your clothes?” Yelena asked.
“I don’t know why you even ask anymore, Lena. Your closet consists of half of my clothes anyway,” you laughed.
She rolled her eyes and started taking her clothes off to change. Trying not to watch her change was not easy to come by. You turned around in your chair and pretended to unload your back from the day. What Yelena didn’t know is that your mirror allowed the perfect angle to see different parts of her.
What really got you was the matching black bra and underwear that revealed itself as she took her clothes off. This surprise caused you to knock a few things off your desk in the process, one of them being your journal. Naturally, Yelena turned around to try and help.
“What did you do, get angry and throw things off the desk?” Yelena laughed. It was awful timing to have other pictures that Yelena did not see poking out of your journal. “What are these?”
“Oh, you don’t have to-”
“Y/n, what are these?”
“Just pictures…”
Yelena stared at you puzzlingly as she picked up the journal off the floor and opened it to reveal the hidden pictures inside. Her brows furrowed as she inspected each one in great detail.
“Y/n, these are…so beautiful.”
You stood there staring down at the pictures or anywhere else in the room, just so you didn’t have to look at her.
“Why didn’t you show me these?” Yelena’s voice was softer now, more gentle. “Y/n?”
“I-I don’t know… I guess I thought you would think it was weird,” you replied shyly.
“Why would it be weird?”
Shit. If you told her why then she would know how you felt, but if you say nothing at all that’s not any better. You were stuck.
“I don’t know…”
She searched your face from any indication of an explanation. There was so much happening that you almost forgot Yelena was half naked.
“These are beautiful.”
“Only because you’re in them,” you bravely said.
Yelena blushed, something you didn’t see very often. “Damn y/l/n, you sure do know the way to my heart.”
“I’m serious.” You felt like your world had stopped at the thought of where this was going. “You’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen, Yelena. How could I not take those pictures that day?”
Yelena was quiet now. You weren’t sure whether this was good or bad. You were tired of being subtle, especially now that you had her right where you wanted her.
“I don’t know what to say,” Yelena said. Her eyes were full of something you hadn’t seen before.
You looked at her for a moment trying to build up your confidence one last time because you knew if you didn’t then you would never be able to do this.
“For once Belova, I would love it if you said nothing at all.” You stepped closer so you could delicately slide your hands up behind her neck. She looked taken off guard, but she definitely was not fighting it. When Yelena took her hands and placed them around the straps of your overalls and pulled you closer so you were face to face, you knew she might’ve wanted this just as much as you.
“Just kiss me already,” she whispered close enough you could feel the breath on your lips. With her words you threw your lips against hers in a kiss that you waited much too long for. Your lips moved against hers as your hands were tangled in her blonde waves. Yelena pulled and grabbed at anything on you just to make you even closer to one another.
You shifted your position to try and push yourself against Yelena so that she may lean against the bed. You knew exactly what your intentions were as of now, but you were not sure how Yelena would feel about it.
The first brush of her tongue against yours sent shivers down your spine and you weren’t sure if she heard your quiet moan or not. You saved your restraint for so many months, so now there was nothing holding you back. Your lips traveled away from hers to down her soft neck. You placed rough and hungry kisses along the nape of her neck and you could tell just by her demeanor that she was having a hard time keeping quiet.
“Uhm, what about your roommate?” Yelena asked in between heavy breaths
“What about them?”
“What if they, you know, walk in?” You must have found a sweet spot on her neck because her question ended with a whine.
“They’re never here.”
“But what if-”
“Just shut up already,” you said.
You smiled against her lips as you threw her shoulders down on the bed as gently as you could. It was hard to take things slow when you had been craving exactly this for far too long.
As your hungry lips continued to move against Yelena’s, you found your fingers playing with the band of her underwear. Your fingers traced all along the skin that was covered.
“I want to see every part of you that was hiding in these photos,” you said. Your mind went back to the day you took those sexy pictures of her and it made you even more desperate for what was hiding beneath Yelena’s garments.
“I just need you to touch me,” Yelena said, breathless. “Please touch me.”
You were quick to pull down her panties to reveal a sight you never thought you would have the pleasure of seeing. Even the panties that brushed against her pussy made her wince in pleasure.
“Please,” begged Yelena.
After undressing her bottom, in one swift motion you unhooked her bra.
“You want me to touch you like this?”
You placed your lips around one of her nipples as you watched her head fall into the bed. Your tongue made its way to circle around her nipple, slowly building up her desire.
Without thinking, you slightly tugged on her nipple with your teeth. Yelena moaned just loud enough for you to hear. It was the most beautiful sound that you had been dying to hear since you met her.
You wanted to move on further.
“Or I could maybe touch you like this?”
Your hand was almost shaking as it made its way down to get center. Your fingers slowly but surely made small circles on her clit. Now, Yelena was panting with lust and trying to keep quiet despite what you wanted.
“Fuck, Lena. You’re so wet.” You couldn’t help yourself from pointing out the obvious. The wetness that covered her only made yours grow.
Yelena had her mouth covered now, most likely paranoid that others would hear her like she had said earlier.
“I want to hear you,” you demanded.
Yelena was moaning softly through her hand now, a reaction to your words.
“Be a good girl and take your hand away from your mouth. I want to hear you.”
She did as you wished and removed her hand. The hand that previously resided over her mouth was now gripped onto the bed.
You took a minute to admire her before moving on further. Her body was even more gorgeous than you could’ve ever imagined. Her toned arms that held on so tightly to the bed, her curves that wavered like the ocean down her body, and her perfectly kissed skin, just how you liked it.
“Maybe you want me to touch you… like this?”
You went even further and slowly slipped your fingers inside her pussy. As you sunk your fingers deep inside her, Yelena became even more worked up.
“Oh fuck,” she moaned. “Please keep going. It feels so good.”
Seeing Yelena drown in the pleasure of your fingers inside her was something you never thought you would live to see.
“You feel so good, baby.” Yelena seemed to like the name because she let out a long whine. “Good girl. Be louder for me.”
You loved the power you had over her in such a short amount of time.
The pace of your fingers stayed quite steady now. Yelena moaned with each stroke that went deeper in her pretty pussy. There was one more thing that you longed to do before she reached her limit.
“You want me to touch you like this, baby?”
Finally, with your fingers still keeping a rhythm inside her, you lowered yourself down on the bed so that you could taste her.
Your tongue made its way to make contact with her clit. Yelena was the loudest now, and with her noise came her restless body. Much like her, you were just as overcome with pleasure.
Her hips bucked into your face with each increasing second. Your tongue explored every single part of her, almost as if you would never get to do it again. Your fingers sped up now that you could tell she was getting closer.
“Holy fuck, right there,” Yelena moaned. “Keep going, I’m so close.”
“Good job, baby,” you murmured. “I want you to cum around my fingers.”
Your words only sped up the process more. Her hips moved even faster which made it hard for you to keep your pace. Your tongue and fingers moved rapidly as she started to reach the peak of her climax
“I’m gonna cum baby,” Yelena said breathlessly.
All at once, Yelena let out a loud stream of moans that you were sure echoed through the hall in your dorm. You didn’t care. You were happy to have her all to yourself, and now, everyone knew it too.
“Good girl, let it all out,” you praised her.
Yelena laid there on your bed to try and catch her breath. You couldn’t help but watch the result of your doings as she looked so worked up.
You took your last opportunity to soak her body in by kissing all the way up her thighs, stomach, chest, and face. Yelena seemed to be hiding her face a bit, most definitely different from her usual demeanor.
You moved her hand that shielded her face. “You okay?”
She gave a thumbs up
“Does that mean it felt okay?”
She had a surprised look on her face. “The entire hall heard me and you think it didn’t feel good?!”
You laughed. “Just checking.”
You both laid next to each other for a while in silence before Yelena spoke up.
“So…how long have you felt this way?”
“When did you start school here?”
“Uhm…two years ago?”
“Then two years.”
Yelena looked over at you. “Really?”
“Really,” you nodded. “How could I not, just look at you.” Yelena smiled at your words.
“Well, I’ve worked up an appetite after all that fun. What do you say we make some popcorn and watch a movie and pretend like no one heard all of that?”
“That sounds perfect to me.”
The two of you spent the rest of the night in each other’s company talking and reveling in the day’s events. You laid in bed thinking about how happy you were to have taken those pictures that day on the beach.

In the last few weeks, you and Yelena have become closer to each other. You spent a lot of time together and your crush on her grew because of that. She often visited you at the compound or you drove to her apartment. Spending time together also distracted you from worrying about Natasha and Bucky since they were both on a long and difficult mission. Even though you knew you didn’t have to worry about Bucky, you couldn’t help it because he’s your best friend. And Natasha is also one of the best assassins out there, probably even the best, but since Yelena is her sister, she can’t help it either.
So, for the past few weeks you’ve been watching movies or TV shows, visiting some places in New York that Yelena hasn’t seen yet and wanted to see, and when you found out that Yelena can only cook mac and cheese, you had to change that and asked if she would like to cook something with you. You had a lot of fun and Yelena started to really enjoy cooking with you. Yelena and you also really enjoyed being outside at night and watching the stars. Sometimes Yelena would fall asleep almost cuddling with you and resting her head on your chest. This also happened when you had movie nights together, and you loved when that happened.
You love hanging out with Yelena. You love everything about it. Her silly jokes, her sarcastic comments, her laughter, sitting close to each other and having a deep conversation late into the night.
The other Avengers who weren’t on a mission all noticed how close you were. Wanda always smiling at you both and Clint was also very happy that you were having fun together.
You were currently sitting on the couch in the living room at the compound and were discussing what you wanted to watch this time.
“So, what do you want to watch?” You asked as you opened Netflix.
“What would you suggest?” She asked shyly and you smiled at her.
“Hmm, let me think.” You said, looking at your movie watchlist you had on Netflix.
“What about this one? It’s called ‘Little Women’, and I really liked it the first time I saw it.”
“Okay, let’s watch that.” She said and you started to giggle.
“What?” She asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Maybe you should know that there is an actress in this movie who looks a lot like you.”
“Is that why you like this movie?” Yelena said, starting to blush.
“Maybe” You teased.
“Okay...umm, let’s just watch the movie.” Yelena said quietly and you started the movie.
After a while you sat very close to each other, and rested your head on her shoulder while you watched the movie. You were so distracted by the movie that you didn’t even hear the Quinjet land at the compound. You didn’t even notice the elevator door opening behind you.
“Hey you two.” You suddenly heard Natasha say. You both quickly moved away from each other and turned around. You started to smile when you saw Bucky standing there. You got up from the couch and ran to Bucky.
“I’m so glad you’re back safely.”
“I missed you.” Bucky said and wrapped his arms around you. As you hugged him, you heard Yelena walk towards Natasha.
“You’re back sestra! “Yelena said and hugged Natasha.
You decided to let them take a shower, while you finished the movie. After you all had dinner together, Bucky and Natsha told the others about the successful mission. Then Steve suggested to watch a movie. After the movie ended, you went to your room. You had only been there a few minutes when you heard a knock on your door.
“Come in.” You said and Bucky opened the door.
“Hey.” He said with a smile.
“Hey, Buck.” You said, walking up to him with a smile.
“I thought I’d come to you to hear what I missed while I was away.”
“Sure, come on, let’s sit down.” You said and walked over to your bed. Bucky sat down next to you, and you smiled at him.
“So, what do you want to know?”
“Isn’t there something you want to tell me?”
“I don’t know what you mean, Buck?” You said and Bucky chuckled.
“When were you going to tell me that you and Yelena are finally a couple?” Bucky said and you were confused now.
“What no me and Yelena are just friends.”
“You’re kidding right?” Bucky said and you just shook your head, not knowing what to say.
“Yelena looks at you like you’re her entire world.”
“What?” You said nervously.
“It’s so obvious that Yelena likes you too. The way she looks at you tells everything.”
“Are you sure, Buck?”
“Definitely.” You smiled and started telling Bucky everything he missed and how you and Yelena became so close.
“Please promise me that you will tell Yelena about your feelings for her.”
“Okay, I promise, but I don’t know how.”
“Just tell her how you feel and what she means to you.”
“Thanks, Buck. You’re the best.” Bucky started to smile and pulled you closer with his metal arm. You talked for a few more minutes when Bucky decided to look for Steve.
Three days have passed since Bucky and Natasha returned from the mission. You were watching a movie with Bucky, Steve, Natasha, Wanda and Yelena. After the movie ended you talked for a few more minutes until Bucky suddenly said.
“I think I’m heading to my room, I’m already tired.” He said and looked at Steve.
“Yeah, me too.”
“Okay, goodnight, Grandpas.” Natasha said, making the others laugh while Bucky and Steve looked at her annoyed. Before Bucky left the room, he winked at you. Natasha and Wanda stayed for a few minutes and then decided to leave as well. So, now you were alone with Yelena.
“Do you want to watch something?” She asked and you nodded, but then had to think about what Bucky had said. Now was the opportunity to tell Yelena.
“Well, actually there’s something I’ve been wanting to tell you for a while.”
“Of course, go for it.” She said but sounded a little nervous.
“Well, how do I start…” You took a deep breath and Yelena smiled softly at you.
“Yelena, I like you a lot and not just as a friend. My day always gets better when I see you…you mean so much to me.”
“Oh, Y/n, I can’t believe you’re saying that because I feel the same way about you.” She said, making you smile.
“Really?”
“Yeah, I was just too shy to tell you and wasn’t sure if you feel the same way, especially because of my past.” Yelena said, looking away for a second, but then back at you.
“Hey, I know you’ve been through a lot and that doesn’t change anything. I love you for who you are.”
“Thank you for saying that, it means so much to me.”
“So, what are we doing on our first date?” You asked and her smile started to grow, and she spoke, “I think I already have an idea.”
You were so glad that Yelena feels the same way and you can’t wait to see what idea she has for your first date.

Ngl, being able to edit things here is cool, other media don't have this option so all you have to do is delete or slowly die every time you remember that mistake🥲
WELL– in that case it would be really fun to see Yelena just being a big softie to reader and end up getting caught by her friends doing so, then everyone would make fun of her or something (it would probably be their last time making fun of something in their lives, poor souls.
I saw that you still have things to write, so no hurry (and good luck with all this-). Also, Your writing is really good so it will be good anyway, but I'm sure you'll get it!
passive-aggressive magic tricks [Y.Belova]
Tumblr media
pairing: yelena belova x reader
summary: a fun game night with your friends takes a turn when they realize how much of a soft dork the russian turns into when she's around you.
warnings: none, i think [except peter being verbally attacked every other paragraph lmao]; so much dialogue; a weirdly written game of uno; just...so much chaos; never written for yelena before so feel free to yell at me if she's too ooc in this one
wordcount: 1.2k
a/n: this gif makes me feel things gonna start this off by saying that this is meant to be romantic but you can read it as platonic if you want. i know everyone has an opinion on yelena's sexuality and not everyone will agree with mine and that's okay! [just don't be a jerk about it. i personally think yelena is a demiromantic asexual so do with that what you will] ALSO, this is so chaotic and borderline nonsensical and you can blame 🌟 for making me think about yelena playing uno that one time. ALSO ALSO, thank you for the vote of confidence, lovely anon, this was actually really fun to write and i hope you enjoy <3
* * * * * * *
“This sucks,” Kate declares with a pout.
“Don’t be such a crybaby, Kate Bishop.” Yelena’s words only make the archer’s pout deepen which makes the whole situation feel even more ridiculous.
“Yeah, Kate,” you jump in. “You’re the one who started talking shit in the first place.”
An offended gasp escapes her lips at your accusation. “I wasn’t talking shit! I was being honest about my skills.”
This time, Peter cuts in before the blonde gets a chance to make fun of the archer again. “Guys, I thought we decided against Monopoly so we wouldn’t fight.”
“Fighting is Yelena’s love language,” you reply with a shrug.
You pretend not to notice the way the Russian’s lips quirk up into a small smile and instead focus on Kate and her awful decision-making skills. It takes her a few extra seconds and she still manages to choose the most annoying card in her hand.
“It took you two minutes to throw in a plus-four?” Peter questions, clearly doing his best to not sound judgemental.
“Shut up and take the cards, Pete.”
The boy grumbles something you don’t quite catch but Kate is quick to punch him in the arm, earning herself a kick to the shin. Their dynamic is certainly…interesting and you can’t stop yourself from wondering how much of it comes from being two only children attempting to one-up each other.
Yelena leans in toward you, pretending to whisper. “Why are we hanging out with them again?”
The pair clearly overhears her considering both the glare and the pout that gets thrown your way. You merely shrug in response, attempting to shield your cards from her expert gaze. “It’s…entertaining, I guess.”
“You guys are jerks,” Kate says, speaking the thoughts Peter is far too nice to vocalize. (It’s definitely not because he’s terrified of getting on Yelena’s bad side.)
“And you suck at Uno.”
She rolls her eyes at you but decides not to reply. The small moment of silence allows Peter to take his turn and the game continues…until Yelena decides to betray you.
You’re not fully paying attention to the strategies each one of your companions is forming which means you don’t realize it when they decide to team up against you.
You’re only four cards away from winning and the blonde beside you can’t stop herself from sneaking a look at your deck. Kate somehow manages to catch her in the act and the two stare each other down until the archer raises an eyebrow, silently asking to be a part of the Russian’s plan.
A plan that quickly leads to Kate placing down another plus-four card and Peter being thrown one of Yelena’s under the table.
“We can stack, right?” He asks, mainly in an attempt to keep you from noticing what they’re doing.
“Yeah, that’s fine,” you reply with a shrug. “Just don’t be surprised when Yelena pulls out a knife from her boot.”
The joke gets a few chuckles, and a slightly concerned look from the young Avenger.
“Do not worry, Spider-Boy, I promised y/n I wouldn’t threaten you…again.”
“Right…” Peter’s clearly not convinced but he throws in his card anyway.
You turn to face Yelena with a smug smirk. “Sorry, babe, but it looks like I’m on my way to winning this round.”
“You sound like Kate Bishop.” She playfully rolls her eyes at you but the glint in her eyes shows off more amusement than annoyance. “I hope you handle losing better than she does, though.”
“Hey!” You and the archer both voice your protests, albeit for different reasons, as the blonde slams down the last plus-four card needed to ensure you won’t win any time soon.
This time around, she’s the one who looks at you with a smug grin but you’re too busy being dramatic to fully appreciate how good she looks when she’s being competitive. It’s genuinely just a stupid card game and yet you pull out all the tricks you’ve learned over the past few months to get the Russian to melt into the huge softie she is at heart.
“Oh, come on, that was mean.” You pull on your best impression of Kate’s wounded puppy dog look. A look that includes slightly wide eyes and an incredibly deep pout.
A pout Yelena has never been good at resisting. (But only when it comes to you, much to the archer’s dismay)
She, literally and figuratively, keeps her cards close to her chest but you catch the way her free hand twitches slightly, almost as if she’s fighting to keep herself from touching you. It’s strange how affectionate she wants to be with you when she’s always been the first to pull away from a hug, the first one to scoot away when someone sits too close.
Being guarded had always felt like second nature to her until you came along.
Her hand reaches out before she can stop it, landing on your knee and giving it a soft yet reassuring squeeze. It's a subtle reminder that underneath all her sarcasm and the rough edges, she cares about you. A lot more than she ever thought herself capable of.
“It’s just a game, sweetheart.” The words are a mere whisper but somehow the person with the worst attention span you’ve ever seen manages to overhear them.
“Did you just call y/n ‘sweetheart’?” Kate blurts out, clearly far too shocked to worry about her safety. “You actually have feelings?”
“Wait, did she really say that?” Peter’s slightly more cautious but there’s both awe in curiosity shining in his brown eyes.
“I heard her!”
“I think you hit your head too hard on your last mission, Bishop,” you reply, trying to steer the conversation away the second Yelena starts glaring at your friends.
Despite all her other skills, Kate is still awful at reading the room so instead of accepting the safety you’re offering, she decides to be stubborn like always. “Don’t lie to me, y/n, I know what I heard. Yelena’s just a big-”
“A big what?” The blonde cuts in with the most threatening glare she can manage. Which, considering she’s an ex-assassin, is quite effective at shutting the archer up.
“Um…” You can practically see the wheels spinning in the brunette’s head as she tries to come up with something different to say. She clearly fails based on the words that come out. “A big softie..?”
“Oh, Kate,” you sigh. “You’re never going to learn to stop poking the bear, huh?”
“What do you mean?”
Her confusion lasts for about a second before Yelena shoots up from the couch and lunges toward her. The archer gets the message pretty quickly after that, expertly ducking out of the way and taking off running in the direction of the bathroom.
All you can do is laugh and shake your head as the Russian chases after her. “Go easy on her, babe!”
“Yeah, Yelena, listen to your girlfriend!”
“Kate!” You and the Russian yell out at the same time, leading to a fit of giggles belonging to the biggest instigator you've ever met.
"So much for a chill game night," Peter mumbles, placing his cards onto the coffee table. "You're gonna go help Kate out, right?"
You shrug. "I'll think about it."

I
Your father's funeral ends the same way these things always do: friends and family approaching you and your mother, one by one, each offering condolences like they're reading from a script. The words are polite, rehearsed, almost mechanical, and though you nod and thank them, each sympathy feels more hollow than the last.
Like a zombie, you go through the motions, detached from everything around you.
The crowd eventually thins, and that’s when Natasha approaches with Yelena in tow. She hugs you tightly, her body trembling with emotion. “I'm so sorry, Y/N,” she whispers, her voice catching in her throat. “If there's anything I can do, anything at all, just let me know.”
You feel her warmth, but your response is cold, almost automatic. “Thank you,” you say flatly.
When you step out of Natasha's embrace, Yelena steps forward, a look in her eyes like she's ready to do the same thing. But as she moves closer, she hesitates, her mouth parting as if to speak, but the words remain trapped inside. Without waiting for her to say anything, you excuse yourself and head up to your room.
Downstairs, Natasha tugs Yelena to go home. But Yelena's gaze is fixed on the ceiling, right where she knows your room is. She silently declines, and Natasha, reading the situation, gives her a knowing nod without pushing further. With a quiet goodbye, Natasha exits, leaving Yelena with her eyes still fixed on the ceiling, lost in thought.
The minutes feel like hours as she sits there, a battle raging inside her. She wants to be there for you, to offer comfort, but she's paralyzed by uncertainty and fear. Finally, a decision forms in her mind, and she rises from the couch, her heart pounding.
Slowly, she makes her way up the stairs. When she reaches your door, she stops, her hand hovering in the air. She hears the soft, unmistakable sound of crying, and her heart aches.
Softly, she places her hand on the door, pretending it's you, pretending she has the ability to comfort you. But she doesn't, and it's one of the most painful experiences of her young life. To stand there, helpless, listening to the person she cares about hurting, and not being able to do anything about it.
Tears well in her eyes as she leans her forehead against the door, feeling the barrier that separates her from you, a barrier she's unable to cross.
And so, she waits, trusting that someday, when you're ready, she'll be able to step through that door, reach out, and stand by your side when you need her most.
II
She doesn’t see you for the rest of the summer.
She tries to ask Natasha about you, but even your best friend seems guarded, telling her she hasn't heard from you much either.
Around the same time, a boy from her class, Jeremy, starts dropping by her house. His visits are unexpected but not entirely unwelcome. He's friendly, outgoing, and he makes Yelena laugh—something she hasn't done much of lately.
But as the weeks wear on and Jeremy's interest in her becomes more apparent, Yelena can't shake the feeling that something's missing. Her thoughts keep drifting back to you, to the sound of your crying behind that closed door, to the pain in her chest that she feels every time she thinks of your suffering.
Jeremy tries to get closer to her, invites her out, sends her messages, even brings her chocolates and flowers, but Yelena finds herself holding back. She likes him, but she doesn't feel the connection she longs for, the connection she feels with you.
One evening, as she's aimlessly scrolling through her phone, avoiding yet another message from Jeremy, she stumbles across a picture of you and your father. The memory hits her like a physical blow, and she can't help but wonder how you're coping, if you're healing, if you even think about her at all.
The very next day, she kisses Jeremy for the first time.
III
When she does see you again, it's at a party before the school year begins.
You're alone, clutching a bottle of Jim Beam like a lifeline. You bring it with you, taking long swigs ever so often, not caring who's watching. You look just like the last time she saw you—uninterested, vacant, a shell of the person that used to be filled with so much good energy.
The crowd around you is lively, laughing, celebrating the end of summer, but you stand apart from it all.
Yelena's concern deepens, and she quickly sends a text to Natasha, hoping that she might have some insight or guidance. “She’s here at the party,” she writes, her fingers trembling. “Drinking alone. Looks lost. What should I do?”
The response from Natasha comes quickly, and it's clear from her words that she's as bewildered as Yelena. “What? I didn't know about this. Keep her there. Don't let her leave. I'm coming.”
Yelena looks up from her phone, her eyes scanning the room to find you again. Her heart aches at the sight of you, standing alone, your face a mask of emptiness.
She takes a deep breath, steeling herself to approach you.
But before she can make her move, a voice calls her name, and she turns to see Jeremy coming towards her with a smile.
“Hey, beautiful,” Jeremy says cheerfully, closing the distance between them with a warm smile. He leans in and plants a soft kiss on Yelena's cheek.
Yelena forces a smile in return, her thoughts still consumed by the sight of you across the room. She appreciates Jeremy's presence, but at that moment, she can't shake the nagging worry she feels.
“Are you enjoying the party?” Jeremy asks, taking her hand and giving it a gentle squeeze.
“Yeah, it's good,” she says.
Jeremy doesn't seem to notice Yelena's lack of focus. His eyes are alight with excitement, and his grin is infectious as he exclaims, “I've got a surprise for you. Come upstairs with me?”
Her attention is pulled away from you momentarily. “A surprise?”
“Yeah, I think you'll love it,” Jeremy assures her, tugging on her hand gently. “Come on, it'll just take a minute.”
Yelena hesitates, glancing once more in your direction. You’re looking worse by the second, but she also knows that she can't ignore Jeremy, especially when he's clearly made an effort to do something special for her.
With a sigh, she gives in to Jeremy's urging. “Okay, but just for a minute,” she agrees, allowing him to lead her toward the stairs.
IV
You don’t remember much of what happened when you come to.
Your fist is clenched, throbbing with pain, and the skin is turning an unnatural shade of blue. Jeremy—Yelena's new boyfriend—is clutching his arm, his face twisted in agony. Yelena is kneeling next to him, her eyes wide, her face pale, looking up at you in shock.
“What...What happened?” you stammer, the room spinning around you.
You hear a gasp from the doorway. Turning, you see a tall, lanky man with tousled hair and a startled expression. He's holding a drink, the liquid sloshing slightly from the sudden movement.
“Everything alright in here?” he asks, eyebrows raised in concern.
Yelena's gaze shifts to the man, then back to you. Panic flits across her eyes. “It's nothing,” she says, her voice trembling slightly. “Just a...misunderstanding.”
He hesitates, eyes darting between you, Jeremy, and Yelena. He doesn’t look entirely convinced. “That doesn't look like 'nothing'.”He nods towards Jeremy's arm and your bruised fist.
“You should leave,” Yelena hisses at you, her voice low and threatening. She rises to her feet, seemingly towering over you despite the fact that you’re taller than her. “Now.”
You're still disoriented, the pain in your hand and the weight of the situation pressing down on you. “Yelena, I didn't mean–I thought he was forcing himself on you–”
She cuts you off. “I don't care what you meant. Just get out.” Her voice trembles with a mix of anger and fear.
Mark steps aside, allowing you a clear path to the door, but his eyes remain fixed on you, filled with curiosity and suspicion. As you stagger past him, you can hear Yelena's voice, softer now, murmuring words of comfort to Jeremy.
V
The next time you see Yelena, a week has gone by and the purple and blue on your knuckles has substantially faded.
It’s the weekend and you find yourself in the public library while the rest are hanging out in malls or anywhere that doesn't carry the smell of books. It wasn’t always like this—you’d normally be in the Romanoffs’ house by now, playing video games with Natasha or discussing art and literature with Yelena.
You're browsing through the contemporary fiction section when you spot her. Yelena's back is turned to you, her blonde hair pulled into a messy bun, strands escaping to frame her face. She's engrossed in a thick book, fingers tracing the lines as she reads. The library's tall windows drape her in a warm, sunlit glow, making her look almost unreal.
For a moment, you contemplate turning around and making a silent retreat. The memory of that night at the party, of Jeremy's pained face and Yelena's horrified eyes, still leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. But instead, your feet seem to make the decision for you, carrying you closer until you're standing just a few feet away from her.
She doesn't notice you at first, so engrossed in her reading. Taking a deep breath, you muster the courage to speak. “Yelena?”
She startles, the book nearly tumbling out of her hands. When she turns and meets your eyes, there's a flash of surprise, quickly replaced by guardedness. “Hey,” she says, voice cool and measured.
“I'm sorry,” you blurt out, the words spilling forth in a rush. “For that night, for everything. I never meant to hurt anyone. I went upstairs to use the bathroom and I heard…sounds…coming from that bedroom and I…it didn’t seemed consensual to me, what was happening–”
Yelena interrupts you, her voice rising in defense, “It was consensual.”
You look deep into her eyes, searching for any sign that she’s not telling the truth. “Are you sure?” you ask gently.
“Yes,” she replies firmly, but there's something flickering behind her gaze.
Not convinced, you press on, “How many times?”
She looks taken aback. “What?”
“How many times did you give your consent?” you ask, emphasizing each word.
She hesitates, her mouth opens to say something, but no words come out.
The few seconds of her silence feels like hours, and then you finally break it. “I just wanted to make sure you're okay," you mutter, pressing your lips together into a tight line.
“Why do you even care?” Yelena scoffs, her eyes narrowing slightly.
Almost reflexively, the truth tumbles out, “Because you're Nat’s little sister.”
For a brief moment, something akin to disappointment crosses Yelena's features, a shadow over her usually bright and fiery eyes. You catch that subtle shift and, for reasons you can't quite place, you're filled with a sudden urge to retract your words.
She exhales sharply, her voice laced with frustration. “So, it's always about her, isn't it? Can't I just be Yelena, without being 'Natasha's sister'? Why does everything I do or whatever happens to me always get linked back to her?”
You swallow hard, realizing your mistake and at the same time, confused as to why it seems like the wrong reason to come to her rescue. “I didn't mean it like that,” you quickly say, fishing for the right words. “I care about you too, Yelena. But yes, knowing Nat makes me more protective. I'm sorry if it came out wrong.”
Yelena simply studies you for a moment before she starts to walk past you as she says, “You say you care, but when your father passed away, you didn't seem to need either of us. Natasha and I tried to be there for you, but you shut us out.”
Your gaze drops, and you quietly fall in step behind her, knowing that she’s right. They both had a bond with your father and felt his loss deeply. While they reached out, you had inadvertently left them in the cold.
“It wasn't that I didn't need or want you both. I just... didn't know how to reach out, how to let anyone in,” Your voice is so faint that Yelena almost misses your words. Abruptly, she halts and, against her better judgment, draws you into a secluded aisle between towering bookshelves for a moment of privacy.
Her hand then reaches out, fingers lightly brushing yours.
“Don’t shut us out. You don’t have to say anything. Just… don’t be alone. Because you’re not,” Yelena says. “Nat and I are here for you.”
You take a moment, a quiet sniffle escaping before you subtly dab the corner of your eye. Though your face remains composed and your eyes shimmer, they betray the strength you're trying to project—a strength Yelena wishes you didn’t feel compelled to display around her.
“I–I know…” you say. You squeeze her hand in gratitude before releasing it. Yelena tries not to sigh at the loss of your touch. “Is Nat upset with me?”
Yelena hesitates, keenly aware of the proximity between you two in the tight aisle. “She's... waiting, you know. We both are. We've missed you, Y/N.”
Your lips curve into a small, bashful smile. “I've missed you guys too.”
As a rosy hue tints Yelena's cheeks, she wishes, if only for a moment, that those words were meant just for her. She quickly deflects, her voice slightly uneven, “I was about to borrow this and head home,” she gestures to the book she's clutching, placing it as a barrier between you.
“Are you planning to stay here awhile longer?” she asks.
You ponder on it for a moment before saying, “Can I come with you?”
Yelena smiles.
“Always.”
VI
“I’ve decided to enlist” Natasha tells you one afternoon after school.
“The military?” you ask, trying to maintain focus on the screen. Your fingers dance over the game controller, securing a win against Natasha yet again. You can't help but suspect that she's using this to divert your attention from the game.
“Not exactly the military,” she clarifies. “It's... well, it's for a government project. Details are classified, even from family.”
You pause the game, finally turning to give her your full attention.
“You're serious,” you say.
Without missing a beat, Natasha resets the game, her casual demeanor juxtaposing the gravity of her decision.
“Does Yelena know?” you ask, eyes flickering towards Natasha.
She hesitates for a moment, her fingers momentarily stilling on the controller. “Not yet,” she admits, her voice softer. “But I'll tell her soon.”
“Where is she anyway?”
Natasha's gaze drifts before she answers, “She's with Jeremy.”
Your eyes harden instantly at the mention of his name, a reaction so visceral that Natasha picks up on it right away.
“You don't like him,” she observes with a smile.
“No, I don't,” you reply tersely.
Natasha's brow furrows with concern. “Did something happen at that party a little over a week ago?”
“Why do you ask?”
She exhales slowly, rubbing her temples. “Just a feeling... Yelena's been... different since then. I thought maybe you'd know why.”
You’re torn. You feel an urge to warn Natasha about this boy that Yelena’s been seeing. But the look on Yelena’s face after you hit him still haunts you to this day.
She’s obviously smitten with him. Going behind her back won’t help.
“Could you, maybe, talk to her?” Natasha asks. “She always listens to you, you know?”
You smirk, trying to lighten the mood. “That’s because I’m the voice of reason.”
Natasha lets out a soft laugh. “That you are.”
VII
Talking to Yelena proves more challenging than you have anticipated, because you can’t seem to find her these days.
Each time you're at her and Natasha's place, she’s not home. Her room remains untouched, bed made neatly and no signs of recent activity. Natasha assures you she comes home, but always at odd hours, usually when the city's asleep.
It's surprising to learn that she's consistently invited to parties that neither you nor Natasha know about.
The girl who keeps to herself most of the time, hiding in bookstores and libraries, has now become the talk of the town and the life of the party. You wonder when and how this transformation took place.
And because she’s Natasha’s little sister, you can’t help but worry about her. Can’t help but think about the kind of people she surrounds herself with these days.
Can’t help but feel protective of her.
Which is why, when you accidentally run into Jeremy after scouring Yelena’s usual hunts in the East Village, you don’t hesitate to approach him even though you're painfully aware he might have every reason to retaliate for that night at the party.
He's leaning against a graffiti-splashed brick wall, a cigarette smoldering between his fingers. As you draw closer, his eyes lock onto yours, recognition igniting an unmistakable spark of animosity.
“Look who it is,” Jeremy sneers, blowing out a cloud of smoke. “What do you want?”
“I'm looking for Yelena,” you reply evenly.
He chuckles darkly and then holds the cigarette between his lips as he says, “What, are you in love with her or something?”
Your jaw tightens, trying to keep your emotions in check. “She's a family friend, okay? My best friend's sister.”
He raises an eyebrow skeptically, taking another drag from his cigarette before exhaling slowly. “I find that hard to believe, especially after the way you came at me.”
Lifting his sleeve, he reveals a dark, mottled bruise, evidence of your previous altercation. “All this for a family friend?”
“I'm protective of the people I care about,” you retort, your gaze unwavering. “Now, where is she?”
Jeremy smirks, the smoke from his cigarette curling between you two. “Why should I tell you? Maybe you should deal with your feelings first.”
You sigh, your patience waning fast. “Are you going to tell me or not?”
Jeremy takes a long drag from his cigarette, exhaling slowly. His smirk falters for a moment. “She dumped me that night,” he finally says, a hint of bitterness in his tone. “Haven't seen her since.”
You’re surprised (and mildly relieved) to learn that Yelena ended things with him that quickly.
“Then why are you still hanging around her usual spots?” you ask.
He shrugs, falling back against the brick wall, looking more dejected than you would have expected. “Hoping she'd change her mind, I guess. But if you're really desperate to find her, there's this place she mentioned once. A quiet spot by the Brooklyn Bridge, where she goes when she needs to think.”
You nod, processing the information. “Thanks for the tip,” you say reluctantly.
He spits out the blunt and then crushes it with his heel. “Whatever.”
VIII
The sun has begun to set when you arrive in Dumbo. Facing the river, with no buildings within its immediate vicinity, the wind moves freely in its playground. The East River shimmers with colors, and the Brooklyn Bridge stands out against the sky. It makes sense to you why Yelena would choose this peaceful spot in the city for solitude.
You find a series of benches scattered along the promenade, some occupied by people absorbed in their own worlds, either gazing at the river or lost in the pages of a book.
As you walk further along the riverside, you spot a familiar figure perched on a low stone wall. Yelena, with her hair being toyed with by the wind, is staring at the water with a distant look in her eyes. She's so engrossed in her thoughts that she doesn't notice you approaching.
“Hey,” you start softly, not wanting to startle her.
She turns to look at you, surprised at first before it gradually morphs into wariness.
“Are you stalking me?”
“No, of course not,” you answer quickly. “I was just... worried about you.”
“Worried? Why?”
“Jeremy told me you two broke up. And with you being... distant lately, I just wanted to make sure you're okay.”
Her eyes drift back to the river for a moment, and then she sighs, her shoulders slumping a little. “I didn't expect him to spill our business to you, of all people,” she mutters, sounding more hurt than angry.
“I ran into him while looking for you,” you explain, trying to ease the tension. “He suggested you might be here.”
Yelena crosses her arms, looking a bit skeptical. “So, you're here out of concern, not because you're trying to... I don't know, gloat or something?”
“Gloat?”You blink in confusion. “Why would I gloat?”
She looks away, avoiding your gaze. “Never mind.”
“I just want you to know,” you start, choosing your words carefully, “That whatever is going on, you don't have to deal with it alone. Nat is worried about you, too.”
Yelena lets out a humorless chuckle. “Nat sent you?”
“No,” you clarify, the sort-of lie coming out easily for you. Technically, she did send you, but she mentioned it in passing, hoping you’d help her get through her sister. “But she's concerned. We both are.”
Yelena hums, seemingly unsatisfied with your sentiments.
“What are you doing here anyway?” you ask, plopping beside her.
She glances at you, then focuses on the water again. “Thinking... about everything. Did you know Natasha is leaving by the end of the month to join some weird government program?”
Your head whips around to face her, surprise evident in your eyes. "She told you?"
Yelena looks even more surprised–and a little hurt–that you already know.
“You knew?”
You nod grimly. “But I didn’t know she’s leaving so soon.”
Yelena shakes her head, her expression souring slightly. “I found out accidentally while using her laptop the other day. There was an email opened.”
The two of you sit there in silence, both lost in thought. You miss the days when things were simpler, when the three of you would hang out without any secrets or looming departures hanging over your heads.
“I don’t want things to change,” Yelena murmurs, her voice revealing traces of the reserved young girl who once hid behind her older sister’s more confident demeanor.
You wish for the same thing, but the truth is, a lot has already changed.
Starting with the death of your father.
And now, faced with the prospect of losing your best friend too, you don’t hesitate. You instinctively pull Yelena into a tight embrace. She stiffens momentarily but then melts into the hug, her breath warm against your shoulder, as your bodies fit together in a new and uncertain way.
IX
Natasha’s up and left by the end of September, and as a new month rolls around, you and Yelena both find yourselves spending time together without the balancing force of her sister. Those first few meetings are stilted, almost as if you're dancing around the elephant in the room. There are fumbled greetings, exchanged in hallways and awkward silences over cups of coffee.
During one of those brief encounters, Yelena mentions her struggle with math. It's a subject you've already navigated, being two years her senior. “I remember going through that topic,” you muse one day, sketching out a problem for her. She squints at your notebook, and you can see the cogs turning.
Your sessions become regular, and soon, the two of you are spending longer stretches of time together. The rhythm is slow but steady. There's a mutual understanding that neither of you want to discuss the glaring void Natasha has left behind. Instead, you bond over shared experiences, inside jokes, and little adventures in the city.
Late night study sessions turn into spontaneous pizza runs. Movie marathons evolve from strictly academic films to cult classics and cheesy rom-coms. There's an unspoken agreement that you both desperately need a distraction, and slowly, you become that for each other.
However, in the crowded hallways of school, things aren't as seamless. You have your established group, a band of friends who’ve known you for years, and their expectations of you are set in stone. Yelena, on the other hand, moves in different circles. With her distinctive style and entourage of artsy friends, they occupy spaces you rarely venture into.
Moreover, your schedules hardly ever line up. While you’re leaving for advanced courses or student council meetings, she's typically heading to the arts wing for a drama club rehearsal or a literature symposium. Those stolen moments in the library or quick nods across the cafeteria become your only connection, otherwise you’d be total strangers from an outsider’s perspective.
One day, during lunch, your friends jokingly mention the budding ‘friendship’ with Yelena. “So, tutoring the sister now? How's that going?” one of them teases. You just smile and shrug it off, but you can't help but feel a pinch of guilt for not integrating Yelena more into your world.
There are also times when Yelena's friends shoot curious glances your way, probably wondering about the nature of your relationship with her. There are whispers, but you both ignore them, focusing on the close friendship you've built, especially with Natasha gone.
It’s your senior year, and you’re just starting to see just how much you and Yelena have in common.
You can't help but wish you'd realized this earlier, especially since you'll be heading to New York University next year.
X
One night, after you both finish watching “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” in your room, Yelena glances over at you, a kernel of popcorn held precariously between her lips.
“Have you ever been in love?”
You almost choke on your soda, before recovering to shrug and say, “I don’t think so.” You watch as Yelena smirks and slowly chews on the popcorn before licking her lips, your eyes following the movement.
“Got a crush on anyone, then?”
The word 'crush' makes your heart race for reasons you’re still unaware of. You find yourself briefly lost in the depths of her green eyes, and there's something about the way her lips curl that grabs your attention. Shaking your head subtly, you rally your thoughts.
“What about you?” you counter, turning the question back on her in an attempt to keep the spotlight away from you. “Ever been in love?”
Yelena pauses, a playful glint appearing in her eyes. She drags out the silence, clearly enjoying the suspense she's creating. “Maybe,” she finally admits with a sly smile.
That simple word instantly has your undivided attention. “Who is it?”
She bites her lip, a move that draws your gaze and makes your heart beat a tad faster. “It's a secret,” she says teasingly.
“Do I know them?”
Instead of answering, she just gives you a mischievous smile and, in a swift move, pulls the covers over herself, hiding underneath. You can hear her giggling, leaving you with more questions than answers.
You chuckle, grabbing a flashlight from your bedside table and diving under the covers alongside her, illuminating both your faces with its soft glow. The confined space brings you closer, close enough to notice the details of her face and the nervous twinkle in her eyes.
“Is it Jeremy?” you ask hesitantly, the guilt from the incident at the party still weighing on you. “I'm so sorry about that night. I never should've–”
“No, it’s not him,” she cuts you off, shaking her head emphatically, her hand lightly touching your arm. “It’s someone else... someone I've felt this way about for a while. For a long time, just loving them from a distance felt enough. But now...” Yelena trails off, her eyes searching yours, for something that might hint that you know who she is talking about.
That she’s talking about you.
“...now I’m not so sure it is,” she quietly finishes.
But your eyes give away your confusion, showing her you can't quite pinpoint who she's referring to. Moreso, when you say, “I hate that they’re making you sad.”
“It’s complicated,” Yelena says. “Sure, the thought of her not feeling the same way stings, but she brings me so much joy. The happiness she offers is greater than the pain. That has to mean something, right?”
“She?”
Yelena freezes at her slip-up.
“Yes... she,” Yelena drawls. She takes a deep breath, steeling herself. “Nat doesn’t know. I haven't exactly been open about it. Not with anyone, really.”
You shift closer to her, ensuring she feels your presence and support. “Hey, I'm really honored you trust me with this. You never have to change or hide who you are around me. I love you just the way you are.”
She turns her head, her expression simultaneously hopeful and uncertain. “You love me?”
Without hesitation, you nod. “Of course. Yelena, between you, Nat, and my mom, you're the most important people in my life. I've always felt that way.”
She bites her lip, absorbing your words. “Oh,” is all she manages initially. The silence stretches between the two of you, heavy with something you both can’t put a name to. Then, in a voice so soft you almost miss it, she murmurs, “I love you too.”
You weren’t expecting to feel anything differently when she says it back, but you do–
So much, that you consciously maintain a safe distance between your bodies as you both eventually fall asleep.
XI
Days go by, and you start seeing Yelena differently.
Little things about her catch your eye, like how the sun hits her hair or the way she laughs. You find yourself thinking about her more often than not, even during lectures.
One afternoon, you're studying together, and you realize you've been staring at the way she holds her pen for far too long. There's a song playing in the background, its lyrics vague and unimportant, but you can't help thinking how it's something she'd love.
But it’s those quiet nights, when the world is asleep, that your thoughts become more personal, more intimate. On one of these nights, as you’re ensnared in those thoughts, warmth spreading all over your body, your phone suddenly rings.
It’s Yelena. Hastily, you pull your hand away from your soaked underwear and try to sound casual as she asks you about a school project that you’ve tackled before. You can’t help but notice how huskier her voice has gotten recently, and as soon as the call ends, you’re shuffling your pants down your legs and fucking yourself with two fingers, coming to the name of your best friend’s sister on your lips.
What follows after is a deep-seated shame. You bury your face into your pillow, trying to muffle the self-reproach that threatens to spill over.
Now, each time your mind drifts to Yelena, there's a budding warmth, but it's quickly doused by guilt and the looming shadow of Natasha. The trepidation of how she might react to your burgeoning feelings for her younger sister haunts your every thought. Would she see it as a betrayal? As you, taking advantage of Yelena? Or would she understand that feelings, often unexpected and inconvenient, have a way of creeping in?
Days turn into weeks, and you do your best to suppress these emotions, to lock them away and throw away the key. But they have a pesky way of resurfacing when you least expect them to, making ordinary interactions with Yelena charged with a tension you can't shake off.
It's during one such interaction, when you're helping Yelena with a school project at her house, that she catches you staring a moment too long. Her eyebrows knit in confusion, and for a second, you think she's going to question you. But she doesn't, and you're left wondering if she feels it too. Feels a surge of current coursing through her body at any point of contact between your bodies.
XII
The air in Montauk is usually so soothing, but not today.
Walking through the front door, you immediately notice the empty spaces, corners that were once filled with your father’s belongings. Bewilderment strikes you first. Your eyes dart around the room, trying to take in the enormity of the situation. His jackets are no longer on the hook, his books absent from the shelf. That worn-out armchair where he used to sit with a cup of coffee every morning is no longer there.
The sound of paper crackling captures your attention, and you follow it to the backyard. Your heart plummets when you see your mom tossing pictures into a growing flame. It feels as if time has stopped, as you watch memories being consumed by fire. Each photo that curls, blackens, and disintegrates feels like a piece of your heart being pulled apart.
A scream of anguish and rage leaves your mouth before you can think.
“What are you doing?!” you shout, rushing forward to snatch what remains of the photos. But the damage has been done.
Your mother's face is a complex mosaic of pain, anger, and a little lunacy. “It's time,” she retorts, her voice brittle but resolute. “Time to move on.”
“How could you?” Your voice breaks, kicking the bench where your father used to lounge in, enjoying a cup of coffee.
Feeling the walls of your house closing in on you, you snatch a small box of photos, the only things that haven't met the flames yet, and storm out.
XIII
The Romanoffs’ residence automatically becomes your refuge.
You don’t even knock, you just barge in, your breaths coming fast, tears streaming down your face. It doesn't take Yelena long to figure out that something's wrong, and she envelops you in a warm, solid embrace.
Her fingers run through your hair soothingly, her voice a gentle murmur in your ear. “It’s okay, let it out,” she whispers, guiding you down the hallway towards her bedroom. Posters of classic horror films adorn her walls, giving the space a uniquely edgy feel. By the side, a stack of books teeters precariously, evidence of her voracious reading habits and an already overflowing bookshelf. Now that you've spent more time in it over the past few months, Yelena's room feels even more familiar than Natasha's ever did.
Before you know it, you're lying down, with Yelena sitting beside you, her hand never leaving yours. Overwhelmed and exhausted, sleep claims you amidst your tears.
Later in the night, you’re woken up by the clinking of a tray. Blinking your eyes open, you see Yelena by your side. She’s holding a plate of something warm and there's a pill and a glass of water on the tray beside her.
“Figured you’d have a killer headache from all that crying,” she says, handing over the pill. Her voice is soft, teasing even, trying to inject some lightness into the heavy atmosphere.
“You made dinner?” Your voice is a croaky whisper.
“Didn't want you starving on me,” she says, shrugging with a smile before setting the tray on the night table beside you.
And then she starts to ramble, her cheeks tinged pink with embarrassment, “I really don't know how to cook, so I just tried frying some spam. Then I ended up burning one side. I swear, every time I try to cook, I just—”
But you're barely hearing her. In that moment, it hits you just how much she's wormed her way into your heart. In an impulsive moment, powered by emotions running high, you reach out, cupping her face in your hands, and pull her towards you.
The kiss is a sweet, brief meeting of lips, but in that fleeting moment, it communicates more than words ever could. When you pull back, the air between you is thick and your lips are tingling and all you can think about is how much you want to lean in and kiss her again. Yelena's eyes search yours, both of you realizing that things may never be the same again.
Yelena seems to be processing, her green eyes wide and a little unfocused. The softness of her lips still lingers on yours, and the magnitude of what just happened starts to sink in.
Panic flares in your chest.
“I... I need to go,” you stammer, your mind racing for a reasonable excuse. You can't stay, not now. Not with the desire to push her down the bed looming over your head.
Before she can say anything, before she can even move, you're out of the room, leaving behind a dazed Yelena, clutching the tray she had brought for you, the scent of the burnt Spam still lingering in the room.
XIV
You avoid Yelena at all costs.
For the first three days, your phone buzzes constantly with her calls and texts, and you muster the will to ignore every single one.
At school, you find yourself darting through hallways and taking longer, circuitous routes just to dodge the places where you might bump into her. The hangout spots you both frequented over the past months—the tiny café by the library, the secret alcove behind the gym—are now places you avoid like the plague.
You switch up your post-school routine, taking a completely different path home, even if it means walking an extra mile. Friends begin to notice the lengths you're going to just to not see her and they shoot you questioning looks, but you shrug them off, not ready to talk about it.
There's even a wild, desperate thought about dropping out of school. But every time it comes to the forefront of your mind, you push it away. You're in your senior year; leaving now would mean throwing away all the work you've put in. Plus, you're on the cusp of moving away, starting anew. You just need to endure a little longer.
Every day feels heavier. On one hand, you want to duck and dodge, stay out of Yelena's path until you've figured what it means for you, for her, for your friendship with Natasha. On the other, you're missing her like crazy. More than once, you've caught yourself about to call or text her, only to stop, unsure and overwhelmed.
And when she stops calling and texting, every time your phone lights up with a notification, a part of you wishes it's her, another hopes it isn't.
And the worst part? The gnawing feeling inside that tells you that the longer you avoid her, the greater the risk of losing her for good. And you're not ready for that. Not by a long shot.
XV
You hide in your room. No one is answering because your mother is still at work, so you just listen to Yelena ringing the doorbell until it stops. You press your ear against the door of your room, straining to hear any signs of movement from downstairs. But there's no one.
And when the ringing stops–for a good ten seconds–you let out a quiet sigh of relief. But just as that thought that she’s given up crosses your mind, there's a sudden thud against your window. Jumping, you pull back the curtain a tad and spot Yelena, a frown carved deep on her face, a couple of pebbles in her hand.
“Come face me, you coward!” she yells, making you wince.
Flustered, you motion frantically for her to head to the front door. After making sure you’re decent enough to receive her, you take a deep breath and head downstairs.
When you open the door, Yelena stands there, eyes boring into you. She’s clearly angry and frustrated, and regardless of those, she still manages to take your breath away.
Yelena steps closer, into the little space you’ve unconsciously provided by opening the door, narrowing the gap between the two of you. Her proximity makes it difficult to think clearly.
“Why did you run that night?” she asks pointedly, the confusion and hurt undeniable in the way her voice thickens and shakes. “And why have you been avoiding me ever since?”
You look down at your feet as she tries to chase your line of sight. “It's not that I don't want to be around you, Yelena,” you start. “In fact, I want to be around you all the time.”
Yelena’s breath hitches at that. She frowns, trying to decipher your meaning. “So, what’s the problem?”
You muster the courage to lift your chin and finally meet her gaze. “I like you. A lot. So much, in fact, that I'm terrified of what could happen next. I'm scared I won't be able to hold back from falling in love with you.”
She blinks, taking in your confession. “You're such a stupid idiot,” she mutters, more to herself than to you.
“You know those are synonyms, right?” you retort, trying to inject some levity into conversation.
She arches an eyebrow, “Dense.”
“That's just another synonym,” you mumble, meeting her challenging stare.
But before you can come up with another witty retort, she closes the gap between you two, whispering, “Shut up and kiss me.”
XVI
It’s getting harder and harder to control yourself around Yelena. Being around her has started to feel like you're navigating a minefield.
There's that time you're lounging in her bedroom, reading a book while she goes to shower. The sound of water running and the muffled hum of her voice singing a familiar tune combine to become your favorite music. The soft sheets of her bed, the faint scent of her on the pillow next to you, and the intimate setting conspire against your self-control. You have to consciously remind yourself to breathe evenly, to focus on the words in front of you, and not on the vision of Yelena in the shower.
Even small moments become loaded. Like when she's talking to you, and she tilts her head, exposing the soft curve of her neck. The light catches on her skin just right, and all you can think of is how it would feel under your lips. How she might shiver at your touch, how the pulse beating beneath her skin might race under your caresses.
Then there's the way she's been touching you more. A brush of her fingers, lingering hugs, those almost-too-close moments that send shivers down your spine. It feels like she’s playing a game, seeing how far she can push before you crack.
The dreams aren’t helping either. Some nights they’re tender, others they’re, well, a bit more heated. Waking up from them leaves you flushed and out of sorts.
One balmy afternoon, as the sun's rays filter through the slits of your bedroom curtains, the two of you find yourselves tangled once again. Suddenly, as you're catching your breath, Yelena pulls back slightly, looking deeply into your eyes, the desire evident. “I want you,” she whispers breathlessly, her voice shaking with want.
You freeze, her words threatening to make you combust. “Yelena,” you start, throat dry, “I don't think we should. Natasha doesn't even know about...this.”
She scoffs, rolling her eyes with an exasperated sigh. “This isn't on us. Natasha's off at some super-secretive training camp. How are we supposed to tell her?”
You try a different approach. “You’re sixtee–”
“You’re seventeen,” she cuts you off quickly.
You smile softly at the pout forming on her lips. “I’m turning eighteen next week.”
“Semantics,” Yelena argues.
Your chest tightens, and you finally admit, “There's something else. I've... I've never been with anyone like that before.”
To your surprise, Yelena's confident demeanor falters. She looks away, biting her lip, “Me neither.”
Your eyes widen. “But... Jeremy?”
She looks away, biting her lip. “That night you punched him? That night, it's supposed to happen. But…” She takes a deep breath, her eyes searching yours. “All I can think of is you being outside that room. I can't do it. I've always... I've always wanted it to be you.”
The fact that she hasn’t been with anyone makes you even more nervous. You want her first time to be memorable and good.
“Yelena, uhm,” you start, fidgeting under her gaze. “I have no idea what to do.”
Her thumb brushes over the back of your hand, a soothing gesture. “Neither do I. But that's okay. We have each other.”
“And if we mess up?”
She smirks a little, that playful glint returning to her eyes. “Then we mess up together.”
XVII
It’s a mess, but neither of you would call it ‘messing up’.
When you’ve removed the final piece of clothing off her body, you find yourself staring at the juncture between her legs, your mouth watering at the sight of it.
It’s a beautiful mess.
Yelena shifts slightly, drawing your attention back to her face. Those brilliant eyes of hers are watching you, filled with understanding and the smallest hint of amusement. “First time seeing one up close?” she teases gently, breaking the tension.
Your cheeks warm, but you don’t look away. “You could say that.”
She reaches out, her fingers gently lifting your chin, guiding you to meet her gaze. “It's okay. Remember? We're learning together.”
You nod, kissing her fingers before she lets go of your chin.
“But please, touch me already,” Yelena husks out, arching her back and lifting her hips closer to your face in offering. “You’re driving me crazy.”
With that, you let go of your reservations, letting instinct take over.
But you take your time.
You slide your hands under her buttocks, palming her cheeks and keeping her place just in case. The heady scent of her arousal draws you in closer, a fresh wave of wetness collecting between your own thighs.
Tentatively, you stick your tongue out to touch its tip against the hood of her clit. The sharp intake of Yelena's breath and her subtle tremor give away her anticipation, making the corners of your mouth lift in a fleeting smile. It’s such a small action, and you can’t believe how responsive and needy she’s become.
“God, you're perfect,” you murmur, before flattening your tongue against her core and licking the entire length of her. Your eyes fall shut the moment you taste Yelena for the first time. She tastes as good as she smells, and you can’t help but repeat the act again and again. Each pass draws a deeper reaction from her, coaxing more wetness to cover the lower half of your face. As Yelena's responses intensify, you're grateful for your foresight in keeping her grounded, especially when she instinctively tries to pull away from the overwhelming sensations you're giving her.
Opening your eyes, you’re met with the most gorgeous sight of Yelena–her fingers clutch at the pillows, pulling them close, while her body arches and writhes–a pure picture of ecstasy.
Emboldened by her reactions, you focus your attention on her clit, drawing the sensitive nub into your mouth, letting a gentle suction build. The sound Yelena makes is sharp and unguarded, her fingers weaving into your hair, pulling you closer, urging you closer to her heat.
The flush on Yelena's face intensifies, painting a path from her cheeks to her collarbone as you continue your ministrations. The squelching sounds created by your eager mouth intermingle with her breathy moans, the rustle of the sheets beneath, and your own low sounds of appreciation.
Sensing her impending climax, you momentarily cease the gentle suction, prompting a desperate plea from Yelena, “Please…” But before she can voice her needs, you plunge back in, your tongue swirling insistently around her sensitive nub.
With a final, muffled cry into the pillows, Yelena's body convulses, waves of pleasure coursing through her. You ease your movements, allowing her to ride out the aftershocks of her climax.
Gradually, Yelena's breathing steadies. The vibrant flush of arousal is gradually replaced by a more relaxed hue. Still nestled between her thighs, you place gentle kisses on her inner legs, giving her time to come down from her euphoric high.
Her fingers, previously tangled in your hair, begin to relax, though she doesn’t release you entirely. Instead, they trace delicate patterns along the nape of your neck and your shoulders. A contented sigh escapes her, and you can feel her legs relaxing around you, the earlier tension now but a memory.
Taking this as your cue, you wipe your mouth and chin and gently climb up, situating yourself beside her, pulling her into a close embrace. Her head rests against your chest, listening to the thud of your heart, which beats just as erratically as hers.
“You okay?” you ask softly, brushing stray strands of hair from her face.
She nods, her lips curving into a small, satisfied smile. “More than okay,” she murmurs, snuggling closer. “Thank you.”
You both lay there in comfortable silence, enjoying the warmth of each other's presence. The outside world feels distant, irrelevant.
After what feels like hours but is probably just minutes, Yelena tilts her head up to meet your gaze, her eyes turning a darker shade of green again.
“My turn,” she whispers, her hands already exploring.
A soft chuckle escapes your lips as you arch an eyebrow, the sudden role reversal causing a thrill of anticipation to snake through you. “Impatient, are we?" you tease, the hint of a smirk playing on your lips.
Yelena grins, her fingers deftly tracing a path along your collarbone, down your chest, eliciting a shiver from you. “Maybe I've just learned from the best,” she counters playfully, pressing her lips briefly against your neck.
She doesn't rush, taking her time, soaking in every one of your reactions. The softest of kisses to the inside of your wrist has you inhaling sharply. Yelena watches, a glint of mischief in her eyes, before repeating the action, this time lingering longer. Each delicate press of her lips feels like a brand, and you're aware of the rising heat that courses through your body, centered where you want her most.
The press of her thumb against your pulse point, just beneath your jawline, elicits an unexpected moan from your lips. She chuckles softly, clearly pleased with the discovery. “Found a new spot, did I?” Yelena whispers, her voice husky.
Your response is lost as her mouth travels down, her tongue painting a trail down your collarbone, causing you to arch into her touch. “Yelena…” your voice is a breathy plea, laced with desperation.
Her fingers splay across your abdomen, her touch light, almost ticklish. It's a stark contrast to the firm press of her lips against the soft flesh of your thigh. Your hands find her hair, urging her closer, but Yelena pulls away, teasing.
Her eyes meet yours, filled with a playful defiance. “Patience,” she chides, her hot breath against your skin sending another shiver down your spine.
The build-up is excruciating, driving you to your limits.
When her lips finally meet the wetness between your thighs, the sensation is electric. She starts by laying a series of soft kisses there, each one making your hips jerk slightly, seeking more of her. Her tongue dips into you, tasting, exploring, teasing.
Her fingers join in, sliding through your wetness, gathering it before pressing into you. The combined sensation of her fingers moving inside while her mouth focuses on your clit is almost too much to bear. The slick sounds of her mouth on you, combined with the rhythmic thrusting of her fingers, fills the room. The dampness between your legs grows with each pull and push, with every flick and suck she delivers.
As Yelena works her magic, she surprises you by letting her fingers wander further back, teasing the rim of your other hole. The unexpected sensation causes you to gasp sharply, eyes widening in surprise and a new sort of arousal.
“Trust me?” she murmurs against your heated skin, her voice a low rumble that sends another jolt of pleasure through you.
All you can do is nod, your usual articulateness lost to the whirlwind of sensation. With the slickness from your arousal aiding her, Yelena gently applies pressure there, testing, probing, adding a new layer to the pleasure. The combination of her mouth, fingers inside you, and this new, intimate exploration has you spiraling.
Your fingers clutch her head, guiding her, even as your back arches, pushing yourself further into her touch. Yelena, sensing your nearness to the edge, doubles her efforts. The world blurs out, every nerve ending centered on the wet slide of her fingers and the firm, insistent press of her mouth against your most sensitive spot. With a final cry, you come around Yelena’s fingers, leaving you trembling, soaked, and sated beneath her.
For a moment, there's nothing but the two of you—the heavy breaths, the shared warmth, and the intoxicating scent of your combined arousal.
Then, with a tantalizing slowness, Yelena extracts her fingers from within you. You can feel their absence keenly, the cool air hitting the warmth they've just left behind. As she brings her fingers to her face, the wetness on them catches the dim light, making your heart race even faster.
Her eyes, dark with desire, lock onto yours. You're held captive by that gaze, and then with a smirk, she slides her fingers into her mouth, sucking on them deeply, audibly. The sound, the sight of it, is almost too much.
“Yum,” she murmurs, her voice dripping with mischief and satisfaction. The single word breaks the spell, sending another jolt of heat through you.
You don't even get a moment to process her bold move because, in the next heartbeat, you're overcome with a renewed surge of desire. Drawing Yelena closer, you can feel the slick heat of her pressing against you, the intimate wetness of your arousal mingling together.
The sensation of her clit, swollen and sensitive, rubbing against yours elicits deep, guttural moans from both of you. Your hands grasp her hips, guiding and urging her into a rhythm that sends sparks of pleasure ricocheting through your body. The room is filled with the sounds of skin on skin, punctuated by the wet slide of your clits moving together, and the heady scent of sex.
Yelena's eyes, half-lidded and wild, fixate on yours, capturing every reaction, every moan that slips past your parted lips. Her fingers dig into your hips, anchoring herself to you, as your bodies grind together, lost in wild abandon.
Your hands cradle Yelena's face, bringing her mouth to yours. As your lips meet, the kiss is all-consuming—a frenzied mix of passion and urgency, the taste of you still on her tongue.
Your hips falter, and you can't hold back the whimper that escapes when you feel that familiar sensation above your groin. The sensation of Yelena's body moving against yours, combined with the feel of her lips and the taste of her mouth, pushes you closer and closer to the brink.
Your focus narrows to the point where the only thing that matters is the tantalizing friction between the two of you. Yelena's rhythm matches yours, her hips moving urgently against your own.
“God... don't stop,” Yelena breathes into your ear, her voice shaky with need.
Your reply is caught by a moan as the coil in your belly tightens even more, threatening to snap. “Yelena…” you manage, voice raspy and broken.
Suddenly, her teeth bite down into your shoulder, making you gasp. “Sorry,” she mumbles against your skin, but you can hear the edge of ecstasy in her voice.
“It's okay,” you manage, voice strained with pleasure. “Feels... good.”
Yelena's hips grind unevenly against yours, the slickness between you both growing with each movement. Every thrust sends ripples of pleasure through you both, wetness mixing and coating your inner thighs, creating a deliciously slippery friction. You can feel the warmth of her arousal as it mingles with your own, the combined sensation dizzying.
“God... can you feel that?” Yelena gasps, her voice ragged and desperate.
“Yes,” you breathe, nearly overwhelmed by the sensation. The raw intensity of the moment, the feeling of her wetness against yours, is almost too much to bear.
“I'm close,” she warns, her voice strained.
“Fuck, me too,” you whisper back, lost in the sensation.
Suddenly, Yelena's body stiffens, her muffled cry against your shoulder sending vibrations straight to your core. The feeling of her release, warm and wet against you, combined with the bite of pain from her teeth, triggers your own climax. Your bodies shake together, still feeling the rush of pleasure even after the most intense moments have passed.
The room falls silent except for the sounds of your labored breaths and the gentle rustling of sheets. The rawness of the moment makes your skin tingle, and you become acutely aware of the warm stickiness between your thighs and the pulsating ache where Yelena had left her mark on your shoulder.
She pulls back slightly, her green eyes, now softened, searching yours. The corners of her lips tug upwards in a tender, adoring smile. “That was…”
“...unreal,” you finish, still catching your breath.
She chuckles lightly, shifting her weight to lie beside you. “Yeah, I didn't think... I mean, I hoped, but that was…”
“Beyond words,” you murmur, pulling her closer until she’s resting on top of you.
You both lay there for a moment, bodies intertwined, enjoying the afterglow. Yelena reaches out to caress the bite mark she left, a look of concern crossing her features. “Did I hurt you?” she murmurs, lips brushing against the reddened skin.
You wince slightly at her touch but shake your head. “It’ll bruise, but it's okay. Kind of like it, actually,” you say with a sly grin, making her laugh.
She leans down, pressing a gentle kiss on the bite mark, her lips lingering against your skin. “Sorry, I got carried away,” she mumbles against your shoulder.
“You have nothing to apologize for,” you reassure her, tilting her chin up to capture her lips in a soft, languid kiss. “But maybe we should clean up a bit.”
She nods in agreement, and the two of you untangle yourselves from the sheets. The air feels cooler against your flushed skin as you help each other clean up, using damp cloths to wipe away the evidence of your shared passion.
Afterward, Yelena snuggles close, her head resting on your chest, listening to your heartbeat.
You drape an arm over her, fingers absentmindedly playing with her hair. “I’m glad it was with you,” you whisper, pressing a kiss on the top of her head.
“I love you,” she says, tightening her grip around you. Those three words nearly bring tears to your eyes as a surge of affection for the girl in your arms envelops you.
“I love you too.”
XVIII
You want it to last forever.
More than exploring each other’s bodies nearly every night, you want each moment spent with Yelena to last forever. You might think it's too soon, but honestly, it feels like you've known her forever.
She’s it.
She’s the one.
Time, however, has its own pace. Before you know it, you and Yelena are receiving an email from Natasha herself that she will be coming home in two weeks. You can't help but feel a growing tension, a deadline looming over your idyllic world. But at the same time, you’re excited to have your best friend back.
One evening, as you both lay in bed, the soft glow from the streetlights outside illuminating the room, you broach the subject.
“When Nat comes back,” you start, tracing patterns on Yelena's arm, “I want to make us official. Tell her about us.”
Yelena's gaze meets yours, and though she nods, there's a hesitation in her eyes, a shadow of doubt. “Of course,” she replies, but her voice lacks the enthusiasm you'd hoped for. But for now, you pull her close, not wanting to read much into things especially with how perfect the past few months have been.
XIX
The atmosphere feels different since Natasha’s unexpected return.
A few days have passed, but the three of you continue to circle around each other, resembling planets in an unsure orbit. Yelena and Natasha seem wrapped up in their own reunion, while you tread carefully, waiting for the right moment to bring up your relationship with Yelena.
This evening, you find your opening. Yelena has stepped out, leaving you and Natasha alone in the living room, sitting at opposite ends of the couch.
“Has Yelena told you anything recently?” you finally break the silence, your voice betraying a hint of nervousness.
Natasha tilts her head, narrowing her eyes slightly. “What do you mean?”
“Did she mention something big? I mean you were gone for quite some time and I understand if you’re shocked, but–”
“Uh, yeah, she did mention something,” Natasha interjects softly. “She got accepted to a program in Leeds.”
The world seems to tilt off its axis. Leeds?
“What?” you ask, failing to keep your voice down.
This is news to you. What’s going on?
“She’s leaving in ten days,” Natasha continues, looking at you curiously. “You didn’t know?”
XX
You only realize Yelena's been distancing herself when you hear about Leeds.
Even though you still see her every day, she's managed to avoid spending time alone with you. Every time the topic of informing Natasha about your relationship comes up, she finds an excuse to divert or leave. Now, she consistently includes Natasha in your plans, turning what were once dates into casual hangouts.
As school ends one afternoon, you spot Yelena's familiar figure quickly exiting the building, her pace hurried, as though trying to escape. It's evident she's avoiding running into you on her way home. You remember the desperation that had led you to skip your last class, just so you could finally confront her.
Taking a deep breath, you quickly catch up to her.
“Yelena!” you call out.
She pauses, her shoulders tensing, and then slowly turns to face you. There's a hesitance in her eyes, but you're determined.
“Why Leeds?” you blurt out, all your emotions hinging on that single question.
She exhales sharply, looking as if she's been cornered, her gaze darting around. “I... I applied a while ago. Before everything between us started.”
Your heart sinks. “Were you planning on just disappearing without saying anything?”
Yelena's eyes shimmer with unshed tears. “I was scared,” she admits. “I didn't know how to tell you.”
“That's not fair,” you say, your voice choked.
She nods, biting her lip. “I know. I'm sorry.”
“I just...when did you apply?” you ask, trying to make sense of the timeline in your head.
“After Natasha told me about her own plans,” Yelena whispers. That was before you saw her in this new, intimate way, before everything between you two began. “I thought it would be best if I too had something to focus on.”
Your eyebrows furrow in confusion. “So you applied because Natasha was leaving? Why didn’t you tell me? We could have figured something out together.”
She sighs, her gaze drifting downwards. “It was a spontaneous decision, a way to cope with the changes, I guess. And then, you and I happened... It all went too fast. Before I knew it, I was accepted and suddenly, telling you became the hardest thing to do.”
The realization stings. All those moments, all those memories, and all the while, there was this looming secret she hadn't shared. “So,” you mutter, a tremor in your voice. “This was all just... a distraction for you?”
Yelena's eyes snap up, wide and filled with panic. “No! Never! It wasn't like that at all. What we had, what we shared, it was real for me. More real than anything I've ever felt.”
Your eyes blur as tears gather around your eyes. “Then why Leeds? Why not tell me? Why not give us a chance?”
You find yourself repeating the questions, hoping that if said enough, they might somehow reshape the truth, making it easier for you to accept and move on.
“I didn't want to put you in that position," she confesses, her voice breaking. “To make you choose or feel tied down. I love you too much for that.”
You exhale deeply, gritting your teeth in order to hold yourself together. “Yelena, love also means being honest and facing challenges together."
“I know,” she whispers, unable to hold back her own tears. “I'm so sorry.”
The world around you seems to blur. “So, is this it? Are we just... done?”
She hesitates for a moment, searching your eyes for understanding. “I don’t want to hold you back, and I need to focus on this new chapter. It wouldn’t be fair to either of us.”
Nodding slowly, you muster the strength to say, “Goodbye, Yelena.”
XXI
For several days, your room's four walls become your entire world. Natasha, sensing something amiss, checks on you with growing concern. When she questions your seclusion, you blame it on a virus, claiming it's safer for you to stay isolated. But the truth is, your heart is shattered, and you can't bring yourself to share the painful reality with your closest friend.
At first, Yelena's messages are filled with apologies, each one dripping with regret. But as the days go by, her tone shifts. There's worry evident in the string of texts that asks if you're okay, questions about your health, pleas for just one response.
Then, as silence from your end persists, the messages take on an edge. “Is this really how you want to handle things?” one of them reads. “After everything, you're just going to shut me out completely?”The accusations sting, but you're in so much pain already that it hardly makes a difference.
A particularly scathing text catches your eye one evening: “I thought we meant more to each other. Is this really how you want us to end?”
The screen blurs in front of you as tears threaten, leaving you torn between reaching out and honoring the goodbye you've already given.
XXII
Seven long days of silence later, something shifts within you.
Distance can't be an end. You can't let it. You decide it's time to act, to see Yelena, to tell her that you’re willing to put in the work despite the long distance.
Pulling on a jacket, you make your way to her house. Your mind races, framing and reframing the words you want to say, the assurances you want to give, the hope you want to share.
As you approach the house, you immediately notice the absence of music from the living room. Yelena always ensured a playlist was playing in the background, a comforting constant whenever they were home. That familiar comfort is missing now, replaced by an unsettling silence. A knot of unease forms in your stomach. You knock, hoping against hope.
The door opens, and there stands Natasha, mildly surprised to find you at her doorstep.
“Hey! Wasn't expecting you today,” she greets with a lightness. “You here for Yelena?”
You nod, trying to find your voice. "Yeah, I wanted to talk to her."
A puzzled look crosses Natasha's face. “Oh, she said she talked to you a couple of days ago. I thought... Anyway, she took an earlier flight this morning. I assumed she told you?”
The ground seems to fall away beneath you. You manage a weak smile, masking the wave of emotions threatening to overwhelm you. “I must've missed that. Thanks, Natasha. Maybe I’ll just text her…I think I left something on at home. Better head back.”
You retreat before Natasha can ask any more questions, literally running out of the house before you fall apart in front of her.
Reaching your place, you shut the door behind you, leaning against it as if trying to barricade yourself from the outside world. Your phone buzzes with a message notification. It's from Yelena:
I'm sorry.

There was a ridiculous sort of homeliness to the stout little house Yelena stood in front of. Long plants dangled from the slanted roofs, and the bulbous lamp hanging by the door glowed a merry shade of amber. Even the doormat was endearing, a shoddy brown scratcher with a black imprint of a cat’s paw in the center. Yelena wiped the soles of her combat boots against it, blowing out a deep breath she hadn’t realized she was holding.
Places like this—places that reeked of home and warmth—they weren’t made for people like her. At least, that was what she was conditioned into believing her entire life. People like her didn’t deserve to have a home.
But her sister had broken the cycle. She’d escaped. They were one and the same as children—a statue and its shadow—and yet they’d gone down vastly different paths in life. Natasha found a new family, she’d found love, she’d found a home. What did Yelena have?
And that’s what made it all the stranger for Yelena to be standing in front of this little house. A part of her was afraid that if she stepped inside, it would crumble apart in front of her.
It was her sister’s home, and yet she was afraid to linger. The house that her sister used to live in before she… before…
Yelena screwed her lips off to the side and bit the inside of her cheek.
Before she could change her mind, she rapped her knuckles against the polished wood of the door thrice. Two more times after that for good measure. The doorbell was right there, Yelena noticed a little too late.
When the entrance creaked open, the blonde had to grit her teeth and keep her feet planted, because a large part of her wanted to turn and run. Yelena Belova had been on the run for a large part of her life. So much of her childhood was lost to the wind of discreet cars and disguises. She couldn’t stomach the idea of facing something real and something true.
Your face peered out from behind the door, features curious and softened with exhaust. For a moment, she could see the scientist in you: the way your gaze darted all over her, searching for clues as to who she was. Trying to piece together the puzzle that was Yelena Belova.
Quite a few pieces were missing from that puzzle. Yelena was sure it’d never be complete, really.
“Hello. I’m sorry, who are you?” you asked, brows cinching together.
You were beautiful, even with the fatigue weighing over your shoulders, even with the tender skin beneath your eyes that darkened with tears and lost sleep. Yelena could see why her sister loved you so much.
When the blonde in front of you whispered her name, you took a slight step back. From shock or from fear, Yelena couldn’t quite tell.
A spark of recognition danced over your countenance. You’d seen faded pictures of your wife and her sister when they were children. She had the same eyes as that child. The same hair, the same nose, the same lips. But people change, faces morph, and personalities are discarded. You could never be too careful. After all—your wife was a widow.
“Prove it,” you murmured.
Yelena leveled her eyes with you. Then, she let out the shrill, two-toned whistle. The one Natasha would do to signal to you, to Clint, to her loved ones.
A lump formed in your throat, and tears pricked the corners of your eyes. You stepped to the side and muttered a quiet apology, inviting her to come into your home.
Yelena stomped her boots against the welcome mat twice, not wanting to be a rude guest by tracking mud all over the floors, and slipped into the house. Her sister’s home.
There were fragments of Natasha everywhere. In the framed pictures, in her initials embroidered into the handcloths in the kitchen, in the rows of linguistic books lining the bookshelves.
You were anxiously twisting your hands together, studying the way Yelena took everything in. Noticing that her eyes were lingering on the books, you ventured to tell her, “She was learning Arabic. During the Blip, that is. Got pretty decent at it, actually.”
Before she could think of a reply, maybe a rather petty retort that Yelena already knew Arabic, a curious meow broke her attention away from you, down to the ground. There was a little black cat pattering its way to her, eyes shining and ears pricked.
“You have a cat?” she murmured, lowering herself to her knees so she could reach out and ruffle its small head.
“Liho was Nat’s birthday present. Well, one of her presents,” you said, a faint smile twitching the corner of your lips at the memory of the failed collapsible motorbike. There was a brief moment of silence, all quiet except for Liho’s pleased purring. “You want a cup of tea?” you eventually asked, gesturing to the kitchen.
She gave you a nod, and you whisked away, grateful for something to occupy yourself with. Yelena found herself studying the house more—the pictures, the mirrors, the lights. It all screamed her sister.
Some of the photos had famous Avengers on them, and Yelena couldn’t help but smile. Her sister, the famous Avenger who saved the world. Her eyes flickered over to you as you brought out a teapot and two mugs. A part of her wondered what you were doing when Natasha had died. Were you off saving the world, too? You murmured something under your breath as you scuttled back to the kitchen to fetch some sugar.
“Please, take a seat,” you said kindly, gesturing to the chair across from you. You poured the drink for her and slid it over the table for her to take. Yelena dropped three cubes of sugar into the mug with an appreciative hum. “So, uh… what happened? Were you—were you blipped?”
“Yes,” she sighed out, blowing at the far-too-hot drink over the brim of the mug. “Five years of life, gone in a blink of an eye. You?”
The two of you watched each other for some time. She lifted the cup to drink, finally. It was damn good tea. There was a citrusy, lemony sort of flavor to it.
“I was part of the half that stayed. Nat and I… we were lucky to have each other. She buried herself in her work. I had—I mean, I didn’t really have work to do anymore. Not with most people I used to work for gone.” After a longer pause, you tilted your head. “Natasha searched everywhere for you. Everywhere. She never—she never stopped looking.”
A lump formed in Yelena’s throat.
“Yeah?” she murmured.
“Yeah.” A tear slipped down your cheek and you didn’t bother to wipe it away. Instead, you smiled. “She loved you so much, Yelena.”
She sucked a cold breath through her gritted teeth and sniffled. “What was she like?”
There were a few seconds of silence. You pondered on her question for quite some time. How were you supposed to summarize your entire world in just a few sentences?
“She was incredible. In every way, really. Smart, beautiful, funny, level-headed. But most of all, she was kind. I think that’s what threw a lot of people off about her. They know she’s an ex-assassin, and she’s not exactly a trusting person… and I guess it’s easy to make assumptions about her with just that. But she was so kind.” You had to pause to swallow around the lump in your throat. “She was patient and understanding. For her to… to sacrifice everything and leave the universe while saving it—that’s the Natasha I know.”
Yelena blew her nose into a tissue when you pushed a box of Kleenex towards her. “I’m here because of her. She’s… she’s a hero.”
“She is.”
With a watery laugh, Yelena said through her tears, “I tried to kill her friend. Your friend, too, I’m guessing. Clint Barton. I was told that he killed her.”
A grim expression flickered over your face as you pursed your lips. “Yeah. He told me. Didn’t sound too happy over the phone. But… he’s doing alright. Has his own little sidekick now, from what I gathered during the call.”
“Kate Bishop,” Yelena said with a mirthful glint to her eyes. “She hit me in the face, you know.”
You arched a brow. “Did you deserve it?”
Yelena frowned and lifted a shoulder in a sheepish shrug. “Probably.”
The two of you grinned at each other, cheeks damp.
Then, her beam melted away. “I didn’t want to believe that Natasha was selfish enough to sacrifice herself to save half of the entire world. Ironic, right?”
You traced the rim of your mug with a finger. “I remember the day it happened. They each came back from the past in a blink of an eye. Except the space beside Clint was empty. Steve caught me before I could fall to the ground when I realized what she’d done.”
“All these powerful heroes,” Yelena whispered. Her voice warbled and swayed, like a feather amidst a hurricane. “And the one that saved the universe was my big sister. She had no powers. Just her and her stupidly big heart.”
“And decades of training,” you added on.
“Yeah. That, too.” Yelena’s shoulders began to shake. “I just miss her so much.”
Abandoning your drink, you got up from the table and stepped to Yelena, pulling her into a warm hug. She began to tremble harder under your grip, winding her arms around you, seeking solace in your warmth.
“She missed you, too,” you murmured. An overwhelming sense of protectiveness washed over you. “I hope you know that you’re always welcome here, Yelena. You’re my sister now, too.”
After a second, Yelena sputtered an apology and slumped back, wiping her tears away with the back of her hand. “Sorry. I’m so bad at this. Emotions and all that crap.”
“That’s okay,” you told her, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder.
Yelena could see why Natasha loved you so much. You were kind like her.
“I grew up in a fake family. None of it was ever real, even if it felt like it was. But Natasha… she was always real to me. Now that she’s gone, the only real part of my life went with her, as well. And you—you’re real. Real to Natasha. And I… I know we just met, but I want you to be real for me, too. Not only as my sister’s spouse, but… as a friend, a sibling. I’d like to try.”
You gave her a warm smile, and reached out to pat her cheek twice, wiping the dampness away with your thumb. “I’d like that, Yelena.”
The two of you embraced again, and she nearly burst into tears upon realizing that you were the first person she’d hugged since she was blipped away.
“Did Natasha ever tell you how she broke my nose when we were kids?” she asked into the fabric of the hoodie you were wearing.
You pulled away with a skeptical gaze. “She told me you broke your own nose.”
The blonde laughed, low and chesty. “Man, do I have a lot of stories to tell you.”

Stop Picking on Me
MCU: Yelena Belova x gn!reader
Sweet and Spicy Bingo Collection
Rating: G (just a fluffy little ficlet)
WC: 770
Prompt: Stupid Cupid for @sweetspicybingo
Valentine’s Day had never been your favorite holiday
*comments/reblogs are appreciated
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You grumbled as you stepped into the store decked out with decorations for Valentine’s Day. It was as if pink and red hearts had been vomited over every inch of this store. You wanted to pop every balloon hovering in the air. Instead, you pushed toward the back, where the over the counter medicines were kept, and angrily grabbed a container of painkillers. It was bad enough you were bombarded by this stupid holiday; getting a migraine was just the cherry on top of the shitty cake. You grabbed two bags of chocolates since you deserved a treat, then got in line. A shrill, warbling voice wailed through the speakers:
I'd like to clip your wings so you can't fly
I'm in love, and it's a crying shame
You couldn’t pay fast enough, the song seemingly chasing you out of the store. The minute you stepped out of the store, you were accosted by a man shoving bouquets of roses in your face. The temptation to shove him off the curb into oncoming traffic briefly crossed your mind.
“For your sweetheart!” You fucking hated this holiday.
You were happy to get home, giving Fanny a few scratches behind her fluffy ears before indulging in a few chocolate treats and gulping the painkillers down with a glass of water. You received a text from Yelena a moment later, and it made you smile. While you weren’t the overly romantic type, you were incredibly smitten with her. You slipped Fanny an extra dog treat before getting comfy on the couch, dangling your legs over the arm.
On my way home, can’t wait to tell you about how I knocked Kestrel right on his ass.
You responded with a can’t wait to hear all about it and waited for her to get home as your migraine began to dull. She burst through the door, still clad in her tactical gear, with a big grin plastered across her face. Fanny scrambled to her paws and yipped happily as she wagged her tail.
“Honey! I’m home!” she chirped, “I’ve always wanted to say that.”
You didn’t mention that she said it almost every day since moving in with you. You found it endearing, and it made her happy. As far as you were concerned, she deserved all the happiness. You hugged her tight before gently tucking a stray piece of hair that had escaped her braid behind her ear.
“Hi baby, come on in, I’m ready to hear all about it!”
Yelena told an animated tale complete with air kicks and faux punches to her hand as she laid out how she busted Kestrel’s ass.
“You’re amazing,” you grinned.
“Oh! I almost forgot I have a little present for you!” Her blue eyes lit up as she reached into her leather cross-body bag.
You arched an eyebrow as she pulled an Eeyore plushie from Winnie the Pooh out of her bag. He was the perfect size for cuddling, holding a bow and arrow in one hand and a red heart in the other. You couldn’t help but laugh. At times, Yelena would liken you to the pessimistic cartoon donkey, as you always seemed to find the dark lining in gray storm clouds.
“I know you hate Valentine’s Day, but I saw him and thought of you,” she smiled before placing him in your lap.
You sighed, toying with the stuffed animal’s ears. It was an oddly fitting gift.
“I love it, Yelena. Thank you.”
“Do you really?” Her lower lip wobbled, afraid you were lying.
“Yes, come here,” you grinned, pulling her into your lap, “it was a lovely present.”
“Mmm, I just wanted to make you smile.” She gave your cheek a playful little pinch.
“You did just that. Now, how about I make us mac and cheese, and then we have a movie marathon?”
“Can we make the fancy one that bakes in the oven?” she asked, her blue eyes wide with earnestness.
“Of course we can,” you grinned, tugging her into the kitchen with you as Yelena let out a whoop of excitement.
Once the mac and cheese was baking in the oven, you unbraided Yelena’s hair while Fanny laid expectantly in front of the oven door. You chuckled at Yelena's happy dance before she sat down and added hot sauce to her mac and cheese. After dinner, you curled up with her on the couch under a fuzzy blanket, sharing chocolate and watching movies together. Fanny let out soft snores from her spot on the loveseat, head tucked between her paws.
Maybe you didn’t hate this holiday so much after all.

Can I look into your heart?
Yelena Belova x Male Reader
Request - Yelena wakes to find that it had snowed overnight and gets excited about playing in it. Male reader gets excited because this means that when Yelena comes inside, it will mean that they get to cuddle by the fire
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You got home and you head to the kitchen. You start to put the food away then you heard someone say your name.
“Hello Y/N,” Yelena said.
At first, you didn't recognize her voice then you threw a bottle at her. But she caught the bottle and smiled.
“Hello scaredy-cat” Yelena teased.
“Babe, I am so sorry. The living room light was off and I didn't recognize you” You said.
You and Yelena walked toward each other, she wrapped her arms around you.
“It’s okay. It was funny when you got scared” Yelena smiled.
“So mean. So happy you are here, I missed you” You smiled.
“Me too. Now, I can spend time with my cute scaredy cat” Yelena smiled again.
“Whatever” You laughed.
Yelena starts to kiss you and she starts to smile. You are kissing her back and she places her hand on your cheek.
“Since I'm in New York let's do something together,” Yelena said.
“Yeah, sure” You smiled.
She kissed you again. You help your girlfriend unpack her luggage, then she changed outfits and you go out with her to have fun.
You take her to the ice rink. Now, you and Yelena are holding hands while ice skating. She starts to talk about what she wants to do while in New York. Now, you and Yelena start to skate a little faster.
“I don't think it will snow,” You said.
“It will snow, in a day or a few days later,” Yelena said.
“I just hate when the sidewalks turn to ice and I end up falling,” You said.
“Oh, I remember when you fell in Saint Petersburg when you came to visit me last year in December. It was funny how you fell” Yelena said.
“Wow, you are a rude girlfriend,” You said.
Yelena starts to laugh and you skate away. She starts to follow you but you couldn't help to smile at her. Later, you and Yelena go get something to eat before seeing the tree.
After eating dinner, you and Yelena go to Rockefeller Center. You take a picture with her somewhat close to the tree. You bought her a Christmas souvenir and she likes the snow globe.
---
The next day, Yelena made you go with her to Macy's Christmas Parade. You just didn't wake up early in the morning and she does wake up very early. Yelena has on your hoodie and scarf.
“I was going to wear that hoodie, Yelena,” You said.
“Next time, wake up early Y/n L/N,” Yelena said.
She winked at you and you rolled your eyes at her. You and Yelena head to the parade, while standing to each other she would hold your hand. She gave a peck on the lips then you go with her to get something to eat.
✬ ✯ ✬ ✯
Yelena starts to wake up and she feels colder. You are still sleeping, she gets out of bed and sees it snowed overnight. She starts to smile then she starts to shake your arm.
“Y/n, babe wake up,” Yelena said.
You start to wake up and she is smiling at you.
“What?” You yawned.
“It snowed last night. And there is a lot of snow!” Yelena smiled.
You get out of bed and looked out the window.
“You really want to play in the snow?” You asked.
“Obviously, babe,” Yelena said.
You and Yelena start to get dressed then went outside.
Once outside in the backyard, you throw a snowball at Yelena. Now she starts to throw snowballs at you and you try to dodge them.
Yelena playfully pushes you onto the snow, you try to get up but she pours more snow on you. You and Yelena are laughing and just having fun throwing snow at each other. Now, you start to chase Yelena and you throw a snowball at her.
----
After a while of playing in the snow, you and Yelena go inside the house. She pulls you close to her and starts to kiss you.
“I had fun,” Yelena said.
“I had fun too, but I think you cheated” You smiled.
“Such a liar” Yelena laughed.
You and Yelena changed into pajamas and went to the living room. Yelena start the fire in the fireplace and you grabbed the blankets and extra pillows.
“I got the movie for us to watch,” You said.
“What movie?” Yelena asked.
You grabbed the DVD from the shelf and give it to her.
“It's Rudolph, you said you wanted to watch it,” You said.
“The super-powered reindeer Rudolph? He is so weird” Yelena giggled.
“Not many would describe him like that” You laughed.
You and Yelena laughed for a bit. You put in the DVD and get comfortable on the couch, then Yelena lies on top of you then you wrapped your arms around her. You and Yelena start to watch the movie then she would ask questions about the movie.

DNI IF YOU’RE YOUNGER THAN 18!
Tonight was the night you had been waiting months for. Ever since the Thunderbolts announced their tour and that they would be coming through your town, so you had bought tickets for yourself and your friends. And finally, after months of waiting, the time had come and you were finally standing at the front of the crowd, waiting eagerly for the sight of any member of the Thunderbolts.
Some time ago, your friends left to go to the merch table and see what they were selling and then likely grab drinks. While you stood here alone, a beaming excited smile on your lips as you waited. Your body was practically vibrating from the pure excitement running through your body. All of it building up to the moment you would finally see Yelena. The lead singer of the Thunderbolts and your personal celebrity crush.
She had been one of the founding members of the Thunderbolts. She along with Baron, Walker, Starr, and Thunderbolt Ross. They had shot to the top of the charts across the world, even topping the Avengers in sales and overall fanbase. But before that, you fell in love with the small snippets of music Yelena had posted on her social media in the past. Some random pieces that she had been working on. Then she did a song with the Avengers and then from there, you’ve been a fan ever since.
But tonight, all of that was finally starting to mean something as the lights started fading out. The crowd around you started to scream, you along with them. The thought of your friends returning getting lost within the low hum of a guitar amp. Then came the low strum of the bass guitar, who you knew was Walker, as the stage lights began to sound. A red glow formed on the stage as you could start making out the figures located across the stage.
At the edge of the stage, you were greeted by Yelena who stared out at the ocean of people with a dark look in her eyes. The black mascara around her eyes gave off the aesthetic the bad strove towards. “I feel the heat up, uh, I feel the beat of drums. Call the police, I'll do it, they've stolen all my fun. I'm breaking free, but I'm stuck in a police car.”
Nights you spent watching their live performances or even scrolled past them on your Instagram, you never thought they would be this electric in person. How they just jumped across the stage like maniacs and Yelena stomped her feet to the beat of the song. It was all enthralling and exactly what you hoped for it to be.
What you hadn’t expected was for Yelena to look directly at you. You felt the air be knocked free from your lungs your screams came to halt. You could do nothing but stare up at the woman like she was some sort of goddess. And Yelena smiled down at you with something else in her eyes. You were too taken aback by the smile to even realize the extra implications of the action.
For a good chunk of the concert, you stood there dancing and singing the lyrics. Ever so occasionally, you met Yelena’s gaze, always getting a flash of that flirty smile you had seen all over the internet. It left your legs untrustworthy considering you were now on the receiving end of these smiles.
If things couldn’t have gotten any worse, your favourite song off their album was beginning to play and you could feel the butterflies rising in your stomach. That beautiful electric guitar filled the open air with the drums coming in quickly after.
“I wanna be the first girl you look at tonight.” Yelena’s haunting voice boomed from the speakers. But her eyes were still fixated on you. Freezing you to the ground as you stared up at her with awe. “I wanna be stuck in your head and make you go wild. I wanna drive you 'til the morning light and. I wanna leave you alone in the middle of the night. I wanna be a good man and see you smile.”
She crawled to the edge of the stage, sitting right in front of you. Her lips curved into a wicked smile as she moved her hand through the fans that sought her approval just as much as you. But she cupped your jaw softly and grinned. “And I wanna swim between your thighs. I wanna fuck you 'til you scream and cry. I wanna hold you in my arms tonight.”
Just as fast as her warm touch had graced your skin, it was gone with her moving across the stage singing. Only leaving you to stare at the woman with your mouth suddenly dry and a copious amount of heat radiating from between your legs.
And it carried on like that for the rest of the show until the Thunderbolts walked off stage with people starting to filter out of the venue. You constantly glanced back at the stage, hoping to catch Yelena’s gaze one more time. But you never saw her, so you followed the crowd of the venue.
But halfway out, a large tall man with a grizzly beard caught your arm. “Yelena wants to meet you.” The statement alone caused your heart to get caught in your throat with your lips parting to speak. But nothing came out.
So, you only nodded and allowed the man to escort you to the back. Walking down the rather plain hallways, taking short turns and soon you stood outside of what you guess was the lead singer's dressing room. The man knocked, pausing for a moment until Yelena’s voice could be heard on the other end saying, “Come in.”
The door slowly opened, your eyes wide finding the singer sitting on a couch with a cigarette heavy between her index and middle finger. Her eyes found yours and she smiled instantly. “Hello, doll,” she greeted. “Thanks, Bucky. That’ll be all.”
The man, Bucky, nodded before walking away, shutting the door behind you once you entered hesitantly. Cigarette smoke created a slight fog in the room but never made you keep your eyes off Yelena. There had been a time when you thought about what you would say to the woman. But now, you were lost for words now that you had been thrown into this sudden situation.
“Did you enjoy the show?” Yelena asked,  freeing you from your inner panic as you swallowed the lump in your throat.
Providing a shy smile, you nodded. “It was amazing. I’d been dreaming to see you guys live,” you stated. “Thanks for making my year.”
Yelena grinned at that, dabbing the end of her cigarette in the ashtray. “I’m glad I could do so,” she said. “Probably the best show we’ve done in this last bit of the tour.”
“You guys are doing the world tour right after, right?” You wondered. “I can’t imagine what type of exhaustion you must feel. I would probably tap out after 5 shows.” You laughed softly, surprised to hear the woman laugh, nodding in agreement.
Her eyes were still focused on you, adoring the way you seemed to be relaxing in her presence. Most people would’ve been praising her and the others like they were gods. Not that she minded, but you were so calm and it honestly surprised her.
“Come have a seat.” The Russian patted the open spot on the couch, only heightening your nerves that you had done a good job hiding.
But you swallowed your fears and walked over. Sitting down next to the woman, who propped her arm on the back of the couch and faced you. A soft smile rested on her lips as you shifted in your seat, trying to not let on that you were currently screaming inside your head.
“You looked beautiful tonight.”
Yelena’s words had your eyes widening, mouth ajar as you stared at her. Unable to comprehend such a compliment from a beautiful woman, such as herself. Her white wife beater, showed off enough of her tattoos that were hidden under the leather jacket she wore. The leather pants flush with her supple thighs that you had shamelessly wondered what it would be like to be between. Then was the short blonde hair that looked incredible on her. You remember when she had her long hair before she chopped it. Both looked incredible on her, but you loved this new look.
It was all a little fantasy of yours. Nothing more.
“Thank you.” Your squeaky response earned a devious grin from the woman who placed her cigarette in the ashtray.
“I mean it,” she added. “I mean, look at you.”
Without so much as a warning, Yelena softly grabbed your hips and lifted you up. You yelped, hands finding their place on her shoulders as you stared down at her. Now straddling her as she grinned in amusement, eyes glossing your figure up and close.
You couldn’t get a word out, incredibly nervous and rather embarrassed. But Yelena seemed far more pleased and happy to see you like this. Hands resting on your hips with her thumbs carefully lifting the hem of your shirt. Allowing her a glimpse at your skin that she had wanted to feel since she saw you in the crowd.
“Y-Yelena- We can’t do this.”
Yelena grinned in amusement, looking up from your stomach and to your eyes. “What do you think we’re doing, doll?” The question only embarrassed you more, turning your head to try and hide your rosier face. “All you had to do was ask, sweetheart.”
You gasped when Yelena cupped your heat. A shudder runs through your body as you let out a whimper. Fingers tensed around the singer’s shoulders as she smiled in amusement. Despite the denim dividing her from what she’s been craving throughout the night, she could still feel the heat that radiated from you. And as her fingers rubbed softly, eliciting those cute noises from your mouth, she could start to feel the faintest dampness appear.
She cooed at you like you were nothing but a baby. “Come on, slut. Tell me you don’t want this. Tell me you haven’t thought of me fucking you like the sweet little girl I know you are.” The hold she had on you was inescapable. Her touch is being chased with your hips moving involuntarily as your fingers softly scratched at the hairs at the nape of her neck.
“I want it,” you breathed, eyes having become heavy as you allowed yourself to swim in the pleasure. “I want you, Yelena.”
Yelena bit her bottom lip, even though you seemed sure of yourself, she could still hear the hesitance in your voice. It was rather adorable. But she hummed in approval. “You can call me daddy, doll.”
Tumblr media
“D-Daddy!” You cried hard, tears streaming down your cheeks. For around an hour, you had been fucked and abused like a toy. Yelena never seemed satisfied with what she got from you, so here you were. Lying on the couch that was soaked in your arousal that dripped down inside of your thighs. With Yelena sitting between your legs, strands of her hair sticking to her forehead as she fucked you mercilessly with her bright red strap-on.
Yelena’s nails cut deep in your hips. Blood has poked through the tiny gashes she’s caused, but she never stopped. Her hips pounded against yours and broke you further as your thoughts began to slip away. Being replaced with the pleasure gifted to you by her ruthless desire.
And she noticed this by your lips parting and eyes rolling back. A build-up of spit slid out the corner of your mouth as your body shook with each thrust. When she had been on stage, she had instantly had the thought of corrupting you. Turning you into her own personal toy that she could use to release some frustration or get the release she wanted. And seeing you now, it was fucking beautiful. The sight alone could be enough to bring Yelena to the precipice of her orgasm.
But she held it off. Opting to grin widely at the state she had put you in. “Such a good slut taking my cock,” she groaned. “I’m going to have so much fun bringing you on tour, doll.”
If your mind wasn’t so fucked out, maybe you would’ve been overjoyed by the news. But you were so lost that nothing could come out besides choked moans. Body continuing to tense and walls clamping around the fake cock as she made the addition of her finger rubbing harsh circles into your clit.
Your voice was hoarse as you attempted to plead, only coming out as choked whimpers and mewls. Yelena could already see what you were trying to tell her judging by the way your body shook and legs began to shake. “Come on, baby girl. Come for me.”
With the order, you let go and were propelled into the stratosphere. Mind going white as your body arched off the couch with a scream. Hips bucking wildly as Yelena smiled in amusement at the reaction. Continuing to fuck you through the orgasm, prolonging the experience until you were panting and gasping for air.
But when you felt her begin to rock her hips, your hands shot forward to her chest. Shaking your head with whimpers. Yelena smiled softly, removing your hands and pressing kisses to the back of your hands. “I know, sweetheart. But give me one more. Be my good girl.”

Weddings—What total fucking chaos…
Warnings: Alcohol, Violence, Puking (but like soft ass, nauseating fluff)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Wanda, are you sure the fitting went well?" You huffed involuntarily as you tried for the umpteenth time to get the zipper to reach the top of her dress, "Maybe it shrunk hon?"
Wanda turned to you with tears in her eyes, you could see a secret settled beneath the surface of her shining viridescent orbs, but her wobbling lip prevented her from offering it up.
"Oh honey," you saw the soft baby bump as her dress now pooled at her hips, "It'll be okay, what's a wedding without a few hiccups?"
——
Wanda smiled instinctually at your offered comfort, the world could be on fire, but you would still find the beauty for her somehow.
"What are we going to do?" Wanda asked in a whisper, and you tightened your hold on her.
"Well, the wedding is in six hours," you looked to your watch, "How about we run to our safe space, then we can magically fix the problem?"
Wanda pulled away from you with a genuine smirk, you always found the best solutions.
"Can I get extra toppings?" Wanda wagered, and you nodded amusedly, "Then it's a deal!"
After Wanda changed back into her comfy loungewear the both of you snuck out of her dressing room, and right on out of the venue.
Kate had been excited to be playing such a pivotal part in Wanda and Natasha's special day's events. The excitable girl was skipping around with her bedazzled clipboard, making sure the workers knew where to place the flower arrangements, then she was calling the caterers to triple check on the delivery time for the various plates, and she continued to do such work until she arrived to Wanda's door.
"Hey ladies it's Kate, I'm just checking in to make sure we're staying on time," she called out as she knocked softly, but there wasn't a call back. Kate tried a few more times, and with the continued silence she grew worried, so without further thought she opened the door.
The worry she felt only increased as she found the room empty, she was panicked when she saw Wanda's dress in a heap on the floor, and in that state she called Yelena on FaceTime, offering no privacy as she yelled, "They're gone, we have a runaway bride, and her bestie too."
"WE HAVE A WHAT?" Natasha shrieked, and Yelena muttered underneath her breath, "Pochemu ya?" before throwing back her flute of champagne, and turning her focus to her frazzled older sister. "It will all be okay."
(Why me?)
"So, is this a 'oh no she knocked me up' wedding?" You teased your best friend, you cackled as her nose scrunched up in pure offense. "No, and you very well know that!"
"Yeah, but for all the secret keeping on your end I felt it was only fair to tease you babes."
"We didn't expect it to happen so fast," Wanda muffled her admittance over a spoonful of her fro yo, "But with my magic it's apparently a sped up process. I am technically only a week in, but at last weeks scan they said I was three."
You remained unexpectedly silent as you ogled your friends bowl, it was literally towering over the lip of the bowl, and the toppings were what you'd expect to see on a sociopath's bowl.
Who pairs mango boba pearls with chocolate syrup, and pieces of coconut? A menace...
When you took notice of her glare you brought yourself back into the conversation, "Weeks?"
"Months," she groaned as she dropped her gaze to the bump that she could no longer hide, it'd become even larger since you'd left the venue.
"Yeah, I am afraid that makes sense now."
Natasha was pacing around her dressing room, there was no way Wanda would have cold feet.
Right? No, she loved her just as much as she did, so why the hell is she nowhere in sight?
"Sestra, calm yourself, I'll find them."
Natasha glared at her sister, "You better."
"Why would they even leave?" Kate questioned, and Yelena swiftly glared in her direction, "Y/N doesn't do things without good reason, she is her maid of honor for a reason Kate Bishop."
Yelena didn't mean to snap, but truthfully she was worried that you hypothetically helping Wanda run meant that the life she wanted with you maybe wasn't the one you wanted with her.
"Y/N?" Wanda hesitantly called out to you, she could see the way you were concealing your own panic to keep hers at bay, it didn't work.
"Don't," you pleaded, "We'll be there soon, it's okay, there's no need to panic Wanda, please."
Wanda rested back against the seat, she wasn't going to press you further. It wasn't your fault there was standstill traffic on the highway, how were either of you to know about a nearby basketball game taking place. Had you known you would've stayed off the freeway, especially since the next exit was two miles out, and the wedding was meant to start in two hours.
It wasn't intentional, but the two of you let time get away from you as you giddily roamed the city in search for baby items. Wanda let you peek at the baby's genders in her purse, they (Wanda) wanted a party for that, and there was really no one better to throw it than you. It wasn't until you looked over a receipt that you clocked the time, and rushed to get back.
"I'm sorry," you couldn't keep it in anymore, you were literally the worst maid of honor.
"Hey," the witch reached for your hand over the console, "You are doing everything right, I needed this, they'll understand if we're late."
The sound of a loud noise startled you both, your gazes shifting to the illuminated dash.
My Stinky Girl (Yelena Belova) is calling...
You gulped, then nodded to the witch who was hovering over the green button, "Heyyy..."
"Don't hey me, where the hell are you?" The blonde shrieked, but then she sighed, "Hi..."
"We're on the highway," you meekly answered.
"Why?"
"To get hitched in Vegas, we realized we had the wrong partners," Wanda deadpanned.
"You stay away from my girlfriend Maximoff."
The witch cackled, "Calm your vests Lena."
You could hear your girlfriend inhale, she was two seconds from a freak out. "Yelena, why don't you ask Natasha about the beans?" You instructed the irritated blonde, "We'll wait."
Yelena trusted you, so without questioning you further she turned to her sister instead. With a shy smile the redhead proceeded to spill them.
"Oh my gosh!" Yelena was grinning, you could hear it, your heart swelled at her excitement, "Detka, we're going to be such cool aunties!"
"Yeah, we are," you chuckled, sharing a fond look with your best friend as the two of you piggybacked off your lover's excitement, and you envisioned a future where you were more.
"How long until you're back? We can stall."
"I am not sure, it's a twenty minute drive, but the traffic is at a standstill, so probably hours."
"Why don't you just mind warp the people to drive faster Wanda?" Kate asked, and you could hear a slap followed up by a shriek.
"Yelena, be nice!" You reprimanded her, and bit back a laugh when she grumbled curses.
"You know how I feel about stupid solutions."
"Actually," you looked at Wanda, and she nodded, there was no harm done if you got traffic to cease to exist right? "We're doing it."
"Wait!" Yelena shouted, "I have a better idea!"
Wanda looked to you fearfully, and it checked out because not even a moment later were you both upchucking the fro yo onto the ground.
"How was that better Lena?" You looked at your lover who was quickly approaching you, she shrugged, "It seemed like a good idea."
Pietro smirked at you as he held his sisters hair back, "It was so fun, pretending to have super strength as I ran you here to save the day."
"Yeah, your noodle arms could never have done that without my help," Wanda grumbled, shoving her brother away, and nuzzling into her wife to be's arms instead, "Hi lovebug..."
Natasha's cheeks turned crimson, Wanda's delirious muttering of her 'behind closed doors' nickname had her feeling put on the spot, but she also knew she meant no harm, so she softly kissed her temple, "Welcome back detka."
"We have a wedding to get to," Kate reminded everyone, and you looked to Wanda knowingly.
"Go, we've got this," you ushered everyone off, then with a reserved softness you reached for Wanda and worked a smattering of miracles.
The ceremony went off without any further hitches, it wasn't until the reception that things got interesting again. You watched with rapt attention as a drunken Pietro approached girl after girl with no luck, it was very amusing.
"What's so funny?" Yelena asked, the deepened rasp in her tone enough to tell you she'd been drinking; Pietro was probably her doing.
"Pietro has no game," you mused, tipping your nearly empty glass in his direction, Yelena burst into laughter once she saw him pouting, "Oh my gosh, he looks like a wounded puppy, how funny." You snorted at your girlfriend's odd sense of humor, "Yeah, his pride is gone."
"Welp, sucks for him," Yelena shrugs, then turns to you with a smug grin, "Care to dance?"  Yelena reached her hand out for yours, and you graciously accepted it as she pulled you from the table to the dance floor with the couple.
"You look absolutely gorgeous malysh," Yelena whispered before softly kissing your lips, she swiftly spun you out before you could reply, then she pulled your giggling form right back in, and you smiled at her. "As do you Lena."
The blonde smiled even wider, her cheeks tinting a subtle pink, something you wanted to tease her for, but you knew better than to ruin the sweet moment. After a few songs, where the both of you swayed around in your little bubble of love unbothered, a hand softly tugged you away from your lover. Natasha smiled at you, with her hand extended, and the two of you reluctantly exchanged partners.
"You're my favorite person," the redhead said almost as soon as she had you in her arms, "Natasha, I'm flattered, but I'm with Yelena, at your wedding mind you, have some class."
"Why must you ruin the moment?" She groaned, and you chuckled softly, "I'm your favorite, so really I can do whatever I wish."
"That you can," Natasha conceded, a soft smile overtook both your faces as you danced about.
The conversation between Yelena and Wanda was a smidge different. Yelena held her sister in law protectively as they barely even moved.
"You know, I'm not made of fluff Yelena," the witch teased, and the blonde huffed seriously, "You are carrying my future nieces or nephews, sue me for wanting to keep them safe."
Wanda gripped her by the shoulders, "Cute."
"Wanda Maximoff, I am not cute."
"Romanoff," she quickly corrected, the lovesick smile she wore nearly made your girlfriend gag.
"Now, before the song ends we must discuss important business," Wanda's face was now one of stoicism, "When are you proposing?"
Yelena grunted, "That's a personal question."
"Mhm, you're officially my sister now, and I am patiently waiting for you to make Y/N mine."
Yelena ignored her sister in law for a moment, she found herself staring at you from across the room, no matter the occasion her eyes always drifted to you, it was a reflex at this point. Her sister dipped you backwards, then repeatedly spun you so fast you couldn't stop laughing.
"See," Wanda called her out, following her gaze to be met with the sight of you, the smile the blonde wore was far too soft for Yelena's usual cold appearances, "You need to lock her in."
"She is already locked in," Yelena huffed, but she couldn't help but agree, "But I know, you are right, is that what you wanted to hear?"
Wanda smirked smugly instead of responding, and after a moment of awkward silence she released herself from the blondes strong hold.
"Don't worry Belova, I got your back," she winked as she walked away, then she tapped your shoulder to signal it was time to switch back, you smiled at her, a hand affectionately grazed over her bump, and Yelena found the sight to be a perfect glimpse into the future.
Her perfect little family, one she never thought possible, coming to fruition before her eyes. It nearly brought her to tears thinking about your hand on Wanda's belly as her own on yours.
When you caught the bouquet a few hours later Yelena saw the intentional wisps of red that floated it to your hold. She glared at the witch who wore a content smile, but it faded quickly as you jumped into her unsuspecting arms. Your body shook with excitement, and the blonde held you that much closer when she understood you wanted it all just as bad.
Yelena set you down, and instantly cupped your cheeks, pulling you in for a kiss that said more than her words ever could. When she finally pulled away your eyes were glossy, she frowned, but you waved her off, "Happy tears."
She nodded in vague understanding, "Why?"
"Because, even if you are not there yet, I am," you smiled at her while nervously flitting the flowers around, "This bouquet toss helped me feel stronger in my convictions that you're it for me baby, there's no love story greater. So, if and when you're ready, I'll be there to say yes."
"I'm ready," she interrupted your monologue, her tone was neutral, likely due to her nerves, but you saw a smile steadily creeping up.
"I'm more ready!"
Yelena frowned, and you nearly lost your shit when you turned to see Pietro down on one knee with a ring that resembled Wanda's.
"Oh, you poor, drunk fool," you sympathized, and leaned into your girlfriend as he went on.
"I am a good man," he hiccuped softly, his hand flying up to cover his mouth, and to your fortune it was a false alarm, "I can make you the happiest women ever Y/N, will you—."
Yelena was about to attack the man, but in a twist of fate it was Wanda who got him first. The witch lifted him into the air, not a care in the world as he gasped for no apparent reason.
"Give me my ring pridurok, or you'll be sleeping with the sharks in the Atlantic."
(Dipshit)
"Sestra, please, you just had your big day," he whined drunkenly, "Just let me have mine!"
Yelena approached the man, she scooped the ring from his hand, and gently passed it back. Then she nodded to Wanda, and in a show of impressive strength she caught the man by his collar as he fell from the air, and slammed him into a marble pillar, "Ostorozhneye, Pietro, ya znayu, gde ty spish', a ukus vdovy smertelen."
(Careful now Pietro, I know where you sleep, and a widows bite is deadly.)
As soon as her hands left the mans collar he was running for the nearest trash can. Yelena turned to you with a smug grin, she knew you were in a state of shock at her show of power. With her arms wide open you crashed right into her, your embarrassing words being muffled into her suit jacket, "That was hot."
Yelena snorted at your admission, and in a rare moment of PDA she kissed you tenderly. She never denied you her affections, but ones like this kiss were usually reserved for the house. But you reckon she didn't mind tonight since it was just a small group of close friends here.
"YA tebya lyublyu," Yelena confessed for the millionth tome with her forehead pressed up to yours. "Ya tozhe tebya lyublyu vonyayet."
(I love you / I love you too Stink)
"One time Y/N," she groans, "I come home smelling like a sewer one time after a mission and you don't let me move on, I want peace."
"Yeah, and that was one time too many."
"Can we go home now?" Yelena was over the scene, at this point she just wanted to cuddle up to you, with her puppy, Fanny, and your kitty, Gerald, sleeping soundly at your feet.
"Yeah, let me just grab my co—."
Natasha rushed over to you before you could even ask where the fire was, "Her water broke."
Yelena glared at her, "Ne nasha problema."
(Not our problem)
Both women went to grab you, likely to hold you in a standstill, but fortunately the witch with fluctuating hormones had the upper hand as she yanked you towards her, "They can have their petty little fight, while we go have babies."
"Hold on," you pulled the woman over to the bar, and grabbed two shot glasses. "Y/N..."
"Hush," you waved her off, "Close your eyes."
Wanda rolled them first, making sure you saw, but then she complied. "You can open now."
Stood before her were two shot glasses, both with a clear liquid in them, and she smirked. She wasn't sure where you got the droppers from, but in the dimly lit room she couldn't tell what was in them, so when you dropped a bit of blue curaçao into the first one she beamed.
"It's a boy!" You cheered, and you saw Natasha briefly look to you with her eyes alit with joy before she was back to shouting at her sister.
Wanda winced as another contraction hit, and you made quick work of the next shot, you had three droppers for the sake of surprise, and it sure helped to keep Wanda unclear until the next liquid turned a light pink, "It's a girl!"
Wanda smiled at you, it was pained though, you could see how she clutched her stomach, so you rushed around to her to guide her to the car, and as you retreated you shouted back, "Oy! Assholes, come take these shots, then get in the car and take us to the damn hospital!"
Love is beautiful, it might be a chaotic, messy experience, hell, even at times tragic, but even with that chance, it's beautiful nonetheless. It was all you ever wanted, and with this family of found individuals it seems you finally have it. That was never really a question for you honestly, but it was confirmed tonight as you looked into the fresh eyes of your goddaughter.
The brunette's tiny fingers were wrapped tight around your girlfriends, she was cooing softly at the baby in your arms, you felt your heart ache for this sort of future. When your gazes eventually met, and your lover smiled at you softly, with those bright, albeit tired hazel eyes you knew this was forever. You'd done it.
Yelena was your dream come true.

Bath Time - Yelena Belova x Y/n
Tumblr media
Yelena Belova had always been a lone wolf. As a highly trained and skilled agent of the KGB, she had always put her duty to her country above all else. But when she met Y/n, everything changed.
Y/n was a kind and adventurous person who had a love for life that Yelena couldn't help but be drawn to. They had met on a mission, and from the moment their eyes locked, Yelena knew that she had found something special in Y/n.
As they worked together on their mission, Yelena found herself falling for Y/n more and more each day. They would talk for hours about everything and anything, and Yelena found herself opening up to Y/n in ways that she never had with anyone else.
One evening, as they were relaxing in their hotel room, Y/n suggested that they take a bath together. Yelena was hesitant at first, but something in Y/n's eyes convinced her to say yes.
As they filled the tub with hot water and bubbles, they chatted and laughed, but Yelena couldn't shake the feeling of insecurity that was creeping up on her. She couldn't believe she was actually going through with this, taking a bath with someone she hardly knew.
Y/n noticed her hesitation and looked at her with a concerned expression. "Are you okay, Yelena? You seem a bit tense."
Yelena hesitated before responding. "I'm fine," she said, trying to sound convincing. "I just... I don't know. I've never done something like this before."
Y/n smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry about it," she said, taking Yelena's hand. "We're just taking a bath together. It's nothing to be worried about."
Yelena nodded, but she couldn't shake the feeling of self-doubt. She had always been so confident and in control, but around Y/n, she felt like she didn't know who she was anymore.
As they sank into the warm water together, Yelena tried to focus on the moment and enjoy it, but she couldn't shake the feeling of insecurity. She felt exposed and vulnerable, and she couldn't help but compare herself to Y/n, who seemed so relaxed and comfortable.
Y/n noticed that Yelena was still tensed up, and put a comforting arm around her. "Relax, Yelena," she murmured. "I like you just the way you are."
Yelena felt a warmth spread through her chest and she finally relaxed, letting out a sigh. "Thanks, Y/n," she said, leaning into Y/n's embrace.
They spent the next hours talking, laughing and cuddling, and despite her initial insecurity, Yelena found that she was truly enjoying herself. She couldn't believe how comfortable she felt around Y/n, and as they sat in the tub, surrounded by bubbles and the warm water, she knew that she was in love.
As they talked and laughed, Yelena felt her feelings for Y/n growing stronger and stronger. She couldn't imagine her life without Y/n in it, and she knew that she needed to tell her how she felt.
"Y/n," Yelena said, turning to face her. "I know this may sound sudden, but I need to tell you something."
Y/n looked at her with a mixture of curiosity and concern. "What is it, Yelena?"
Yelena took a deep breath and mustered up all her courage. "I love you, Y/n," she said, her heart pounding in her chest. "I know it may sound crazy, but I can't imagine my life without you in it. You make me feel alive and happy, and I want to spend the rest of my days making you happy too."
Y/n's eyes widened in surprise, but then she broke into a wide smile. "I love you too, Yelena," she said, leaning in to kiss Yelena.
They shared a long, passionate kiss as the water and bubbles swirled around them. From that moment on, they knew that they were meant to be together, and nothing would ever change that. They were in love and nothing can't stop them from being together

A few years ago you took the opportunity to join the Avengers. You went on missions with them and after a while you became very close to the other Avengers. When Natasha introduced Yelena to you a year ago, you immediately got along with her. After a few months, you and Yelena became very good friends, but you also started to have feelings for her. Just like Yelena did for you.
But you both decided to keep your feelings a secret from each other until you suddenly confessed your feelings on the following day:
It’s been a while since you’ve seen and talked to Yelena. Because you had a crush on her you wanted to put some distance between the two of you but this wasn’t easy because you started missing her a lot.
That day you went to the compound for a meeting with the other Avengers. You got there on time and as you walked towards the elevator you saw Yelena go in as well.
“Please wait for me!” You yelled and Yelena turned around and started smiling when she saw you.
“Only if you hurry up!” She yelled back, making you laugh. You walked to Yelena. After greeting each other, she pressed the button for the floor where the meeting would take place. Silence began to grow between the two of you and you didn’t know what to say. You got nervous and looked around, and when you saw the buttons of the elevator you suddenly got an idea. You looked at Yelena with a smile. She noticed your smile and started to chuckle.
“What got you smiling like that?” She asked curiously.
“What do you think would happen if I clicked all the buttons?”
“I’m not sure, but I don’t think that would be a good idea.” Yelena said.
“But I think it would be interesting and fun to see what happens.” You said excitedly.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea, Y/N.” Yelena warned you again, but you were already standing next to the buttons and started clicking all of them. It looked funny how all the buttons started to light up, but then suddenly the elevator stopped, the light went out and you flinched.
“I told you this isn’t a good idea.” Yelena said annoyed, but when the light came back on, she saw a scared and panicked look on your face. You were so nervous and started clicking the button, hoping that the door would open. You were so nervous that you didn’t even hear Yelena say your name.
“Oh, noo noo. This can’t happen.”
“Shit, I’m stuck…I’m stuck in an elevator.” Out of nervousness you started playing with your hands. Yelena moved closer to you and gently placed her hand on yours to make you stop. She smiled at you and gently moved her thumb over your hands. You began to calm down and took deep breaths with her.
“Hey, it’s okay, you’re not alone.” Yelena said after a while.
“Shit, you’re right. I’m stuck with you…the person I have a crush on.” You suddenly confessed out of panic. You quickly pulled your hand away from Yelena and covered your mouth.
“What did you just say?” Yelena asked.
“Oh no, I didn’t want you to find it out like that.”
“So, you really have a crush on me?” Yelena asked with a grin and you got nervous again.
“Yeah, now you know my secret.” You confessed and Yelena came closer to you. So, that there were only a few inches between the two of you.
“What would you say if I told you that I have feelings for you too?” Yelena asked and you began to blush.
“You do?” You asked quietly and Yelena nodded. You started to smile, and Yelena took the last step between the two of you.
“Is it okay if I kiss you?” She asked softly and all you could do was nod, which made Yelena chuckle.
“Are you sure?” She asked again.
“I’m so sure.” You said, making her smile. Yelena placed her hand on your cheek and smiled at you. You couldn’t wait for her to kiss you any longer, so you pulled her closer and kisser her. You could feel Yelena begin to smile as your lips touched hers. The kiss started gently but then became more passionate. You enjoyed the kiss so much that you completely forgot where you were until suddenly a sound was to hear and the elevator door opened. Yelena and you quickly let go of each other and looked at the elevator door where Natasha was standing, grinning at the two of you. She just looked at the two of you, nodded at you, then turned around and walked away. You looked at Yelena and you both started to laugh.
“That was so weird.” You said after you stopped laughing.
“Yeah, it was.” Yelena said and you looked at the clock on your phone.
“We missed the meeting.” You confirmed.
“Would you like to have a coffee somewhere?” Yelena asked and you started to smile.
“Sure” you said and walked back into the elevator. Yelena pressed the button in the elevator, but this time you stayed by her side and held her hand instead of pressing all the buttons.
You went to a coffee shop not far away from here and enjoyed the evening together. Later that day, Natasha told you everything important from the meeting and that she is really happy for both of you. Exactly like you and Yelena are. You still can’t believe that Yelena feels the same way about you, but it also makes you so happy.

“Yelena…come on. You need at least one bra that doesn’t have a sports logo on it.”
“But whyyyy, they’re so comfy and the other ones are so uncomfy plus the stupid wire is always stabbing me, if I wanted to be stabbed I would just go spar with the greasy one, whats his name?”
“Loki?”
“Yes! Him. I would spar with him.” Yelena says with a not so amused face as she stares you down.
“Yel…c’mon…it’ll be fun I promise. Plus you’d look sooooo good in lingerie…” You reply with a cheeky grin.
“LINGERIE?” Yelena blurts back in response. “I agreed to one bra, not lingerie.”
“SO YOU AGREE! GERAT!” You say with a huge smile grabbing her wrist and yanking her towards the garage where Tony keeps all his expensive cars that you like to drive.
“How about we just go to one of those fancy stores you like and I’ll buy you anything and everything you want…but we don’t go to the underwear store.” Yelena says from the passenger’s seat.
You roll your eyes and chuckle as she’s looking at you with the most serious expression on her face.
“Lena, relax, you have nothing to worry about.”
“I know I just don’t want to do this.”
“I’m here with you, you’ll be okay.”
The two of you pull up to the mall and head inside. You’re practically dragging her through the mall like she’s a four year old.
“Hi! Welcome to Victoria’s Secret! Is there anything I can help you two with today?” An overly eager employee asks.
“No we’re go—“
“Actually yes!”
“My girlfriend here needs a real bra and she’s never been sized before.” You say with a smile and a wink thrown in Yelena’s direction.
“Not to worry! May I?” She asks, holding up a measuring tape in her direction.
Yel nods uncomfortably as the pretty retail worker wraps her arms around her, bringing the measuring tape to her front as she glares over the woman’s shoulder giving you dirty looks for putting her through this.
“Okay…it looks like you are about a 34B, follow me and I can show you where you can start!”
You hook your arm around Yelena’s as you pull her towards the direction the lady was walking.
“Alrighty, here we are. Take a look around and please let me know if I can help you with anything else!”
“Thanks so much!” You reply.
As you turn back and look at your girlfriend she’s giving you the nastiest stare down.
“What?”
“I hate you a little bit right now.”
“Yeah right, you don’t have a bone in your body that could hate me.” You reply with a cheeky grin and a kiss on the cheek.
“How about these?” You ask, holding up two bras, plain black and plain beige.
Yel gives you a disapproving face when she glances over.
“Lena, you’re not making this easy now are you. Look, take these, go to the change room and try them on.”
“I have to try them on? What was the whole point of her taking my measurements if I still have to try them on?”
You just stare at your girlfriend as you lightly push her in the direction of the change rooms which she drags her feet walking towards.
“How do they feel Lena?”
“My boobs look stupid.”
You let out a small chuckle, “i'm sure they look great, love. But remember, this is just so you have proper support!! I don’t want to hear about how your back hurts anymore.”
“Yeah yeah whatever.”
“I’ll be right back. Make sure you try on both!”
You pop out of the change room area for a second to the lingerie section and scoop up the first thing that sticks out to you. Black has always been her colour, she’s going to love this.
“Knock knock Lena, can I come in?” You say slowly pulling the curtain to the side.
You walk in and close the curtain behind you, pulling the black one piece lingerie from behind your back.
“No. Absolutely not.” She says. “Y/n, come on. I’m not putting on that thing, whatever it is.”
“Please baby? Just for me? Just this once?” You reply with the puppy dog eyes.
“No, no way!”
“I’ll take you out for ice cream if you try it on. You don’t have to buy it, I just want to see it on you.”
“Fine, but i'm getting a double scoop cone.” She says with a huff as she pulls the hook out of your hands.
“Look away”
“W-what? It’s not like it’s nothing I haven’t seen before Yelena.” You say folding your arms.
“Turn.”
“Ugh, fine.”
You turn around with an eye roll as Yelena undresses again.
“Ready yet?”
“Almost, this thing isn’t easy to put on you know!”
“Okay done.”
You turn around to see your drop dead gorgeous girlfriend in the hottest and sluttiest piece of attire she’s ever worn.
“Fuck— Lena.”
“Great, you’ve seen it, now let’s go.” She says trying to pull one of the straps.
“Wait— stop.”
“What! I put the stupid thing on what more do you want.” She says in an irritated tone.
You were too busy trying to pick your jaw up off the floor to answer her. You slowly start walking towards her while butterflies flutter around in your stomach.
“Y/n what are you—“ you cut her off with a forceful kiss to her lips, pushing her against the wall behind her.
Although she wasn’t pleased with what she was wearing, Yelena leaned into this kiss, and maybe wouldn’t verbally admit to you but fuck did she start to feel hot.
As you continued to kiss her your hands came down to just above her waist, squeezing her, pulling her tightly against you. Your hand slowly inched down, grabbing her ass as she bit your bottom lip. As you come up for air you mutter out a few words, something along the lines of “fuck you’re so hot in this” and “all I want is you” but Yelena could barely make out what you were saying as you said it in short breaths in between kisses. Your mouth starts sucking small patches on her neck as she lets out really quiet moans and squirms beneath your touch. As your mouth continues to leave little bruises along her neck, your one hand wanders over to her front, feeling the mess she made in the one piece. You’re rubbing small circles over the very thin cloth, feeling just how soaked she is through the material. You smile into your kiss as you feel her cheeks blush with slight embarrassment.
“Is this all for me baby?” You whisper under your breath. She nods in response as you slowly pull the fabric slightly to the side revealing her throbbing clit underneath. Your finger starts to draw tiny circles causing Yelena’s knees to just about buckle under your touch. Her head gets thrown back against the wall in pure ecstasy.
“F-f-f-fuck.” She mumbles out
You can’t help but smile seeing how she’s unraveling because of your touch. So, you decided to slowly insert on finger into her pussy. Holy fuck was she wet. As soon as your full finger entered her, you heard her let out a moan that was maybe a little too loud. Your other hand immediately came up to her mouth to cover it.
“Be a good girl and stay quiet for me, okay?” You whisper to her.
Yelena just nods her head in compliance as your hand stays over her mouth. Your finger starts pumping in and out of her and her eyes are practically rolling back into her head. You insert another finger as you watch her squirm.
“How’s everything going in there?” You hear from outside the curtain. Yelena’s eyes widen as they lock with yours and you slowly remove your hand from her mouth. You wink at her and nod your head towards the curtain, gesturing for her to respond. But as she’s about to you increase the pace that your fingers are moving at, inserting a third, making her life as difficult as possible.
“They’re all good!” She croaks out trying to not let a moan slip through.
“Ok! Let me know if I can get you another size or anything!”
“O-okay! Will do!” Lena responds.
You hear the footsteps of the employee walking away as you continue your face pace, pounding your fingers into her pussy.
“Baby— I think I’m gonna cum soon.”
“Not yet princess.” You mutter as you pull all three of your fingers out of her pussy.
You get down on your knees, lifting one of her legs and placing it on the stool in the dressing room. Your tongue starts drawing figure eights on her pussy, making her let out soft moans as you slowly reinsert two of your fingers. You suck on her clit as your fingers pound in and out of her. The pace of your tongue movements increases as you feel her legs start to shake from under you and her hands are running through your hair trying to grip onto anything. As she pulls your hair tighter, you can feel her nearing her climax.
“Fuck— y/n can I please— can I please cum?” She grunts out.
You look up at her and nod your head as your tongue continues to flick her clit and fingers pumping as fast as they can. You feel Yelena’s knees buckle as you grab onto her thigh trying to support her with one hand and also let her ride out her high on your face. Her head is thrown back trying not to let out an incredibly loud moan. As her hip thrusts into your mouth slow down you pull out your fingers and smile looking up at her.
“Well, looks like we have to take this home now love, you made a mess of it.” You say with a wink gesturing towards the one piece.
Still trying to compose herself Yelena just stares at you and lets out a small giggle.
“There’s that beautiful smile I’ve been waiting to see.” You say as you deliver a soft kiss to her lips.
“Tell me love, do you like tasting yourself on my lips?”
She smiles and nods in your direction still feeling high off her orgasm.
“Get dressed beautiful, I’ll meet you at the checkout.” You say with a wink and a small smack on her ass as you leave the change room.
— the end —
