who has the WORST language filter
if you would believe it, fujiko is actually really good at this, not because she wants to “shield” children or whatever, but just because she’s so precise with her wording anyway that it just happens naturally
goemon’s pretty good too, but that’s mostly due to the fact he. doesn’t swear or make inappropriate jokes like. ever. even less so in the company of strangers. it’s very easy to stop doing something you already weren’t doing! at best, it might come out if he’s repeating the words of someone else, and he glances at the kid and murmurs an apology and keeps going
zenigata is the one making the most conscious effort to keep things polite and clean, but… he’s him, and he gets wrapped up in his own thought process and stuff and he just. doesn’t think! he’s like grumbling about this rotten piece of shit. this nasty motherfucker. and some kid will be like “whatcha doin mister” and he freaks the hell out like he just told this child how to make mustard gas or something
getting steadily worse about this we got lupin who. makes almost no effort whatsoever unless it’s the most obviously pitiful, saddest, most innocent child he’s ever seen. he doesn’t really see a problem with kids hearing swear words? like. they’re going to learn them at some point. may as well give them context early. and finally, the bastard
with the most coins in the swear jar, jigen does WANT to make an effort! he doesnt WANT some poor kid getting in trouble later for repeating what he said. but he is Jigen and his filter is like who’s afraid of red yellow and blue post vandalism. but that’s what you get leaving your children unattended with violent criminals anyway WHAT’D YOU EXPECT

The Ahsoka show might be great. It might suck. It might just be mid. Either way I’m glad Rebels is gonna be essential viewing (I mean more than it already is) and the normies will no longer have any excuse to blatantly ignore it just cause they assume it’s Too Kiddy because of the art style. I had to deal with people saying Solo was the first time the Imperial March was established as the Empire’s in-universe national anthem. I had to deal with people saying Fallen Order was the first time a Jedi knighting ceremony was shown in canon. I had to deal with people watching Clone Wars season 7 and thinking Ursa was the Armorer cause they didn’t take five seconds to read the end credits. I had to deal with people who didn’t watch Clone Wars OR Rebels talking about Mandalore stuff and thinking they know more than me cause they skimmed a Wookieepedia article. I had to deal with people saying the Obi-Wan show should’ve been about Maul hunting down Obi-Wan as if it wasn’t a story that had already been told 5 years prior. No more. At long last I shall be free.
#that fifth example in particular pissed me off so much#like i remember seeing rumors that maul was originally considered to be in the obi-wan show#and that filoni was the one who suggested they use the inquisitors instead#which as far i can tell all that was just rumors with no hard confirmation#but anyway someone made a post about it that was like ''oh OF COURSE filoni suggested they use a character from a filoni show''#and i mean say what you will about dave showing favoritism towards his characters#but you REALLY think it was a bad call to feature the jedi hunters instead? in the show about a surviving jedi?#you REALLY gonna tell me it would've been better if they dismissed an entire season's worth of plot development from rebels?#yeeeaah no. fuck off.#and the mandalore thing is the second most annoying of these#like at least half of the worst takes about the mandalorian are from people who never watched clone wars or rebels#and think reading fandom wikis is a substitute for actually experiencing the story and makes them an expert#i'm not saying everyone's obligated to watch them. just don't act like you know more than me when you don't. bitch.#the first three examples aren't nearly as annoying it's just about the principle#shut up tristan

While I don't have a wii u, I played luigi's mansion dark moon online with 3 others around the world, we all stood together for a photo by making luigi smile, we spammed Hey! Hey! (i didn't have space on my phone for a photo though, but I written down everything to hopefully make a drawing with their usernames for each luigi color varient they were to capture that moment) and we all spammed "thank you very much!" Before servers didn't let us in on the final floor. 3ds network's closed earlier than splatoon but I watched Jaymoji and Dude play splatoon in the last hours, and then someone else plsy until the thing actually ended-ended for good.
I was someone who won a wii u for my summer camp (and it was a trivia that was based on things i'm knowledgeable about) and they had a backup incase I wasn't there. I didn't get to keep the extra one, nor the one I won, but it had splatoon on it. I got to play it now and then,but never splatfests. So I participated by watching them online, and hoping my team won. I didn't get to play it too much because everyone else wanted to play mario kart and smash bros. :'3
Splatoon 2 may be my home since I played it most (but I only got to play repeatfests and the mushroom vs star fesr), and Dark moon's getting a remake:
Splatoon 1 and Dark moon on the 3ds were something so magical to experience. Yes there's pretendo but I waiting on a new 3ds to hack since mine has personal photos I want to download and print before I hack anything. I hope to also get a wii u and participate in the pretendo fests, you don't need to hack anything to play wii u's pretendo service.
But still. That magic of being there in that moment. Both games mean so much to me.
ALL OF THAT IS SO SWEET~!!!
That's one of the magical parts of these games, so many people experience them in different ways, everyone has their own stories for how they were introduced to these things, and I find that it makes everything that much more special!

Seth’s mind overloaded when he caught the alternate’s eye.
The voices he’d long learned to ignore broke through his defenses, and his eyes roamed over the black hollow hole on the right side of the thing’s face. His hands shook slightly as he held up the shotgun to the thing’s chest, right under the cross on its necklace.
A huff rang through the air, before distorted words that made Seth’s head feel like it was melting came from its throat. “G̶͇͂e̸̖̕t̵̤͐ ̷̯̈ō̷͙ȕ̶̥t̴͈͊ ̸̫̂o̶̘͆f̴͎͆ ̶̯͂ḿ̶̝y̸̮̌ ̶̯̍w̶̪̒a̷̢͗y̸̜̓.̴̣̉”
Suddenly, his back was slamming into a nearby wall, blood seeping from a gash across his nose. Trembling, from pain or fear he didn’t know, the man pulled himself up on his arms, breath hitching when he took in the room.
Sarah was unconscious across from him, breathing despite the steadily bleeding wound on her head. The floating alternate was approaching Cesar.
Cesar who was staring ahead, face twisted in a familiar horror that made pure panic grow in Seth’s chest. He was in a flashback, he wasn’t able to fight back. Cesar was going to die if he didn’t do something.
Coughing up red, a trail falling down the corner of his lip, Seth grabbed his shotgun before aiming and firing.
The alternate stumbled in the air at the impact, but it wasn’t injured. It froze before turning to look at Seth again, clear anger in its eye, but he was focused on Cesar.
Cesar, whose eyes gained awareness again and he blinked, before taking a step back. Then another and another, and then the ravenette was running as his life depended on it.
As a shadow loomed over him, Seth gave in to his exhaustion and pain and fell onto his burning chest. A foot was pressed onto his left wrist, breaking it with a loud crack, but he didn’t care.
At least Cesar was away from here.
