I wanted to see your LCSYS take on the differences in the prisoners' uniforms in the Milgram Hallucination event:

The outfits all zip in the front, even those that wouldn't in the art. Shugo wears a coat instead of a cape. Ryota doesn't have half of his uniform tucked in. Minami is wearing a skirt under her costume. (Hi Nott!) Maybe I missed some.

Hmm, that's a neat detail! Because presumably they'd have their uniforms on hand, and they should just wear those. The fact that they had to create new ones leads to a few possibilities: 1. Milgram didn't realize what a hit the songs would be, and figured they wouldn't need these random straightjackets anymore. They got rid of them after the experiment, 2. Milgram gave the prisoners their uniforms to keep and they're the ones that threw them out, not caring to remember their life of restraints, or 3. Milgram does actually face some real-world consequences for being incredibly shady, and all their possessions are currently being investigated by the government. I personally think option 3 is funniest, and enjoy picturing Jackalope planning a live concert and selling merch while simultaneously trying to cover up a huge potential scandal/legal battle behind the scenes asdfsdf.

Amane's case is slightly different, since hers has to do with her own clothes. I like to think it'd be a sign of her leaving her old life behind and starting over. When Mahiru takes her in, (with Amane's permission,) she completely replaces her wardrobe to remove any painful memories that may be attached. There are a few things she liked too much to part with, maybe including her purple hat :) When it's time to perform, Jackalope offers to find her a skirt just like her original, but she prefers to do without it.

For anyone wondering:

- the eternal wakestone you get for killing the sphinx is VERY misleading, it is a one time use only NOT reusable like the name suggests

- it costs 120k to get it duplicated BUT

- the copy doesn't work

So be careful when you use it. This is not a solution to the dragonsplague, so do watch out for signs that a pawn in your party is sick.

Anyhow, I would also like to add a crack theory about why otto never talked about his dp allowing him to talk to infants too. In this moment, it very much be because, as you said, he wants Spica to be eliminated. But! We're thinking small here. My question morphs into a more general perspective; why would Otto, and tappei to an extent, keep such information about his dp under wraps for this long, way before these Spica shenanigans? And I feel like the author may want to expand on that regard. Because as far as the rest of the crew knows (and as far as I remember), they know he can only talk to animals. But that chapter states he can talk to any living being (?), which I think may hint to it being a bigger fucking deal than we may realize. Like outside the Louis development, as well as Otto's frustration development, this power in of itself can cause a ripple of what Otto's capabilities are, and to not underestimate it.

So, now I wonder, would tappei utilize this tidbit for more development about Otto's power? What do you think?

A: It's not the letters, but the speaker's intent that he picks up, so he could tell the difference.

but no yeah like........ ottos dp is specifically about Animals and well. humans and demihumans ARE animals. so it makes sense that it carries into humans and demihumans a bit so the whole catching someones intent thing is super fascinating and i feel like he could Definitely utilize it for more of his schemes?? esp when you combine that with the usual ways he uses his dp with animals - his power is Perfect for spying on others and gathering info in general. from my understanding of his power though, animals have to agree to help him, but given he can communicate with them and hes. well hes a good talker and also a bit of a manipulative bitch (affectionate) so like getting animals to help him doesnt seem like too much of an issue usually for him. so no but yeah his power is like. HM im going to say probably not in caros case. I think they would get past the PTSD of it a few years after their brittney spears moment, it was always about not having control over it and less about the hair itself i think (which is why im comparing it to that analogy,) but these days Caro is fairly low maintenance about their appearance and hair like they used to have requires a LOT of work and upkeep. The only thing they bother with these days is skin care and drawing in their eyebrows. They want to be out the door, driving with the top down, or stuffing their head and shorter hair into a motorcycle helmet and not worrying about fixing it up afterward haha! on the opposite end of the spectrum, while ive yet to draw caro middle aged, in my head they have thinning hair/pattern baldness and absolutely rock it.

As for John. ok i actually sketched it a bit for the Human Version of him in werewolf AU, johns hair is thick and wavy bordering on curly, and i just. he looked too much like Mr Universe. And it made me laugh. its not bad, but it REALLY didnt fit his character specifically.

I'm very hair-centric with my character designs, and while i love a cute metalhead or long haired boy, hell im married to a long hair boy, and at some point Avery (character in Seemingly Dark) will be the long haired boy in my stories, to me, john without his trademark pomp or hawk just doesnt feel like john.
