Puta merda there's a police operation near my university, there was a shootout and people died. If I had classes mondays, if my meeting was scheduled to the morning, if I went with my dad before 7 as we usually do, without checking the news as we usually don't, I could have been there. I was so close to being there holy shit

#the first whatsapp messages i received about that were at 7:19 #we'd already be there #I'm shaking #yeah I've already been at my university during a shootout omce but it was far enough away a short #this has been going on for about 4h now and although there's a pause the police is still going in #im shaking #this is brazil lol #the whole highway is closed for now #classes were suspended this morning btw but only now #i could have been there #I've never been so close to being there before
