Upper Moon Yandere Headcanons
Tumblr media
Characters: Douma, Akaza, Aizetsu, Kokushibo.
Description: If I’m being honest, I suppose this is how some of the upper moons would express their love normally, but a lot of it is unhealthy. For that sake, I’ll classify this as yandere headcanons for the upper moons with a female reader.
Warnings: Verbal abuse, death, forced affection, unstable behavior, paranoia, etc.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Douma..
Once Douma declares something his, it belongs to him until he says otherwise.
Douma’s love is sincere but expressed in a twisted way.
As a cult leader does, Douma provides a facade of a perfect life with him if you stick by his side.
The lack of love and nurturing from Doumas parents causes an insatiable desire for the foreign feelings within him.
Douma uses you to replace the love he never received as a child.
His affection begins in a controlled manner. Consisting of little things such as random hugs, quick kisses, or asking you to hold him for a little while.
Over time, Douma would get a bit possessive. You were lucky if you managed to go more than five minutes without Douma forcing you into hour-long cuddle sessions.
One of his favorite things to do is cling to your body and nuzzle his head into your chest.
The feeling of your body's warmth is the only thing that calms his nerves.
Denying Douma’s love is like stabbing him in the heart from his perspective.
"You don’t really love me, do you..? You're just like my parents."
Denying Douma only makes your situation worse.
In Douma’s world, if he forces enough of his affection on you, you’ll eventually love him.
There are periods when Douma is severely mentally unstable.
During these periods, Douma made it clear that you could not and would not leave his side.
You're extra careful when he’s unstable. Any wrong move, and Douma’s threatening to end everyone close to you.
It’s hard for Douma to understand human emotion. Due to his lack of feelings, he can’t possibly understand why you would want to ever leave his side after he’s provided you with a perfect life.
Regardless of how you feel, Douma needs you too much to ever let you go.
Over time, Douma may possibly turn you into a demon to trap you with him for eternity.
He can’t risk losing something that he may never find again. Your love.
Akaza..
Akaza would kill for you in a heartbeat if it came to it.
The word love itself isn’t nearly enough to convey how much he loves you.
He would love to buy you little things, such as hair pins, just to see your face light up a bit.
Every time you leave, Akaza must be accompanying you.
Akaza always keeps at least one hand on you.
He wouldn’t mind if you didn’t have much physical strength; that’s what he’s there for.
Akaza would rather die than ever see you hurt.
He has a tendency to hurt anyone who causes you just the slightest bit of inconvenience.
Nobody should ever dare gaze upon you with any ill intent.
The other upper moons avoid interacting with you; they know how Akaza can get when it comes to you.
You're sacred in Akaza’s eyes; he’s practically on his knees for you.
Akaza can become delusional about your love for him. If you don’t hold the same feelings for him, he’ll convince himself otherwise.
Akaza will literally spend hours kissing every inch of your body to prove himself to you.
With night comes Akaza’s paranoia.
There's much more danger for you once the sun sets.
He won’t leave your side for a single second.
In bed, you're always in Akaza’s arms; he’ll refuse to sleep any other way.
Once the sun rises once more, his nerves calm just a bit.
He simply can’t bear the thought of a life without you.
Akaza will pursue your love until the end of time.
Aizetsu..
Aizetsu is pretty sensitive. Please don’t be too harsh on him.
He craves your affection constantly; it’s the one thing he needs to keep going.
Aizetsu can get aggressive when you refuse to show affection.
He won’t hurt you, but he might get verbally abusive.
Once he’s calmed down, he’ll cry at your feet, wrapping his arms around your waist begging for forgiveness.
He always regrets his behavior once he’s rational again.
Aizetsu sees the world as a depressing place, and you are the only light in his dull life.
One of his many nicknames for you is Sun.
When Aizetsu gets deeply depressed, he tends to get distant.
He’s running back into your arms soon enough.
His favorite thing to do is hug you from behind and follow you around.
Aizetsu is excessively clingy on a normal day.
If he is not all over you, something is wrong.
He’ll ask you to hold him when his anxiety gets hard to bear; you're the only one who can get him to calm down.
He struggles immensely with his mental health.
You happen to be the one to handle Aizetsu when he’s at his lowest.
A lot of it is taken out on you, and he hates himself for it.
A few hours of being in your arms is usually enough for him to be able to function again.
Aizetsu will always do anything he can to make it up to you the next day, starting off with flowers in the morning.
If you don’t forgive him immediately, he’s on his knees once again choking on his own sobs.
He can’t sleep without you next to him, helping him keep his depressive thoughts away.
At night, he’ll often rest his head in your lap and ask for you to play with his hair.
The feeling of your hands touching his scalp takes his mind off of the billions of things running through his head.
Aizetsu depends on you, don't fail him.
Kokushibo..
Kokushibo is always lurking in a corner, watching your every move.
He prefers to watch you in silence rather than interact with you.
Kokushibo is aware of his unhealthy attraction to you.
Small gifts, such as earrings or handwritten notes, would be left by Kokushibo on most mornings.
He manages to find something to give you each time he goes out.
Kokushibo secretly has a soft spot for you; you're the only one who knows this, of course.
Any affection coming from you stays on his mind for at least a day or two.
Don't upset him. Kokushibo is quick to completely disappear for a few days to teach you a lesson.
Leaving without Kokushibo by your side is forbidden. Once night falls, you can’t leave at all.
His rules may be harsh, but they're for your own good.
On nights that he’s feeling extra stressed, he may ask you to play with his hair.
There's not too much physical contact between you and Kokushibo, despite his hidden obsession.
He has to have a lot going on within himself to flat-out ask for your touch.
Kokushibo will die protecting you. He vowed to keep you protected, always.
You’ll be kept secret from everyone except Muzan. He won’t have you around the upper moons, especially Douma.
If you're feeling particularly stressed, Kokushibo will sit you down and tell you stories from all throughout his 480 years of living.
Kokushibo deeply appreciates your simple presence since he’s been alone for so long. Knowing that you're there is enough for him.
He spends hours watching you sleep at night; he doesn’t sleep much at all himself.
It brings him a sense of peace to watch your sleeping face, knowing that you're at ease.
Kokushibo can live in some type of peace knowing that you're safe and his.

Love
Yan! Uppermoons! + Muzan with an affectionate reader!
(Reader who likes giving hugs, kisses, and PDA, stuff like that)
Tumblr media
(I'm sorry, but pookie always comes first 😫)
He is eating it up like it's his last meal
He may not be affectionate, but he likes it when you are
He's a major hypocrite
If he's not affectionate and then you take it as him not liking affection and stop, he'll hate it
He will demand an answer and when you explain it to him, he is not understanding
He will yell at you if needed (When he doesn't have your devotion)
He thinks that your affection is a sign of your devotion, and he needs your devotion
He only lets Kokushibo near you
His love language to you is gift-giving and words of affirmation
He'll buy you flowers, praise you, and rope you in
He knows exactly how to rope you in
He gives you punishments, even if you haven't done anything wrong, to test you
He needs you completely devoted to him and your attention only on him
If your attention is on something else, he will emotionally manipulate you, and make you dependent on him and only him
Don't try to resist
He turns you into a demon, so that he can read your thoughts and control you for his own needs
If you listen and stay affectionate, you live happily ish.
If you don't listen..... you don't want to know what happens
"Just stay devoted and love only me, darling, if you do, I'll provide you with the best life you could ever have."
Tumblr media
With a man as stoic as him, you'd think he would like affection, right?
Wrong.
It makes him feel weak, and it feels like he's getting soft
The minute he feels weak, is the minute he thinks about Yoriichi, and trust me, that doesn't end well
That's what he thought about affection
Until you won his heart, and became the obsession of his life
The reason he lives, breathes, and becomes more powerful, is because of you
He is a lot more forceful in what he wants, and he is very straightforward about his intentions
He isn't good at emotional manipulation, but he is very good at intimidation, and, what are you going to do?
He loves your affection, and he is very affectionate as well, when he wants to be
He will stop you from whatever you're doing if he wants to kiss you, or cuddle you
DON'T try to stop him
He likes leaving his sword at his feet when he cuddles you, keeping his eye on it, and also showing you how vulnerable he is to you
He knows you love him, but he needs constant reassurance, believe it or not, he's very insecure
He will never admit this
Stay by his side, and he will treat you right
He also does turn you into a demon, because he can't stand the thought of being without you
"I'm completely vulnerable with you right now. I'm showing you my devotion, and I expect you to show me your devotion as well."
Tumblr media
He loves it
It's his excuse to always cling to you
He is also affectionate as well, so you two go hand-in-hand
He makes his followers worship you as well, proclaiming that you are a deity, and they listen
He turns you into a demon pretty early when he realizes he wants you
He always keeps you on his lap
He is also very cheeky with his intentions, so sometimes he makes you wear the clothes of his followers
He uses it as an excuse to defile you
He spoils you like crazy
He is soft and gentle with his touches, believing you to be fragile
He treats you like porcelain (Not in the bedroom)
He teases you and is also very flirty
He does love you and will cuddle and coddle you always
As long as you are with him for eternity, he will love you
If he sees any of his male followers looking at you wrongly, he kills them off, despite having no intention to eat them
He makes you dependent on him as well, but also allows you some freedom, he isn't completely restrictive
Believe it or not, Akaza feels pity for you
Douma talks about you every chance he gets, he is very brave and open
Everyone's tired of it
"I love you, snowflake! You should stay with me for eternity! I promise to love you!"
Tumblr media
He likes it, but is pretty mellow with his affection
He is very romantic, and also very possessive
He does say you are weak, but he only says that because he wants you to stay with him
He constantly says how he can protect you
He is afraid of losing you, so he appreciates the little things you do as well
Turning you into a demon was his choice, but he does feel a little bad
He hates leaving you alone so he completes his missions quickly
He takes you out, only when he's with you
He does like hugging and kissing you, but doesn't smother you like Douma does
He just likes showing you he loves you
He's trying, give him some time
He's kind of bad at the whole 'being in love thing' but he knows how to express love
He doesn't punish you as often, if at all, he hates doing that
He doesn't use underhand tactics to make you dependent on him, he kind of just does it on accident
He needs you to live, breathe and survive
He does love seeing you happy and would do anything for you
"Please don't leave me. I can't live without you."

Hi I Can Ask Yandere Muzan and Kokushibou (Separate Of course) Trying To Convince S/O To Stay With Them, But S/O Refuses And They Kidnap Him And Try To Turn Him Into Oni, However They Are Shocked To Find Out That S/O /o is Immune to Oni Transformation.
Yandere Muzan Kibutsuji
Tumblr media
Yeah…
It really wouldn't be that simple with Muzan…
The ONLY way you could get him to convince you of anything would be if you didn't know he was a demon.
Muzan would really hate every second of this.
He would give up real quick.
It would be time to move on to the abduction.
Which would happen very quickly.
One moment you are in your home and the next you are in his infinite fortress.
Then you get a nice info dump about his real identity ;)
Your opinion on this…
Muzan doesn't really care.
He is in control and if you don't like it too bad.
Muzan would try to turn you into a demon quickly.
But your body would refuse it.
He would be really confused.
Muzan would try many times…
And your body would resist him every time.
That would really piss him off.
This could not happen.
Muzan would study your genes…
And now he would consider you even closer.
Muzan would NEVER want the demon Slayer corp to find out about this.
Maybe he can't turn you into a demon.
But he can make you his in other ways.
In addition to Muzan, scares you to stay.
R.I.P whole Y/N bloodline if u try leave
Yandere Kokushibo
Tumblr media
You and Kokushibo would have been "dating" for quite some time.
No one was sure how you had ended up in a relationship.
But you had one.
A relationship you clearly wanted walk away from.
Maybe Kokushibo covered his face during the whole initial period of "dating".
However, it wouldn't be that simple.
You can try to talk to Kokushibo…
But he would still try to persuade you to change your mind.
kokushibo would be surprisingly calm in this situation.
Too bad he can't change your mind.
So it's kidnapping time.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
After the kidnapping, Kokushibo would explain the situation to you.
And you…
you really wouldn't believe him.
The idea of demons would seem ridiculous.
Who would believe that?
Yep, your opinion changes quickly when you see his face.
On top of that, Kokushibo would like to turn you into a demon.
You can try to resist him.
But he would be much stronger than you.
Kokushibo would take you to Muza after some time.
He would think that this way you could be with him forever…
But your body rejects the process.
That would be wonderful.
It goes without saying that he would be confused.
Muzan would definitely want to kill you for this.
But Kokushibo would (respectfully) try to stop him.
Finally, Muzan agrees…
You will surely never leave the infinite fortress again

UPPERMOONS (upset gyokko and hantengu)X BROKE MODERN READER
////////////////////////////////
Part one.- also I’m not used to making story’s instead of one shots sorry y’all 🤞
-GIF MADE BY ME.
Female reader
Please reblog my work!!
Daki and Akaza first because they are my favs and they seem like they could be besties if they put their mind to it
Y’all let’s get into it 👅
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Incompetent is the only valid word to describe you three right now.”
Akaza respectually bowed his head in shame,not daring to speak over his master.Whereas Gyutaro and his younger sibling Daki tried to decorously reason with Muzan,once he finished talking.
“B-but sir,we really did try to hunt all of them down,but then upper three came and they all scattered like mice!” Daki lifted her head to look up at observe his expression,only to see that he has gotten more perplexed.Muzan brought his hand to his face and pinched harshly at the bridge of his nose.
“I do not want this nonsense to happen again,do you understand?”muzan looked down and sneered.The thick sense in the room could choke the three uppermoons,they really have fucked up.
The three nodded.
“Yes sir.”
Just like that Muzan turned around,having his back faced towards the three.
“Nakime.”
Nakime was the shy lady who sat leg crossed on the floor.Her jet black hair covered most of her face besides her own mouth,she looked at her wooden biwa licked the tip of her finger and strung her biwa.With that a majority of shojis closed of. Making the figure of muzan disappear.With that,Muzans presence was gone.
“THIS IS YOUR FAULT!” Daki groaned,getting up and kneeling to turn towards Akaza.Only to be held back by the green and black hair Oni.
“Sister calm down” gyutaro tugged.
“You guys were struggling against 3 boys and a hashira? I just wanted to help a fellow moon” Akaza sighed,unbothered by Dakis shouts.
“ARE YOU MOCKING US?”
“Daki he’s like three ranks above us stop being annoying.”
Daki kept rambling on to Akaza,who was asking nakime to teleport him to where he was prior.
Once Daki was done having a temper tantrum.She sighed and stood with her arms crossesed firmly.
“Hey biwa lady, once you teleport Akaza-dono, take us back to the entertainment dis-“
POP!
Before gyutaro could finish his sentence daki disappeared into thin air.making a loud pop sound echo.
“What the fuck, biwa lady where did you teleport her”
Nakime laid down her biwa beside her carefully.
“I did not play my biwa,so there was no way for me to teleport her anywhere”
Akaza stood in stupor.He nor gyutaro could not feel dakis presence at all.
“If she did teleport she must be far.I cannot feel her aura.” Akaza commented
Gyutaro turned away from the two demons,his hands clammy and trembling, he clawed and attached his face gratingly. His worry starting show.
Akaza’s face softened slightly.Not wanting to let any of his guard down towards a rival. Akaza was about to comfort gyutaro, walking up to the lower ranked moon to put his hand on his shoulder,then suddenly.
POP!
gyutaro turned around quickly, hoping that Daki could have possibly have teleported back from that simular sound.Only his eyes to widen in shock to see that Akaza was now also missing.
“Biwa lady, did Akaza leave or did the same thing happen to him as Daki?”
Nakime only looked down in slight curiosity.She didn’t really care about the disappearances of her fellow allies. She just didn’t want the blame from the boss in the near future.
“No, he disappeared Along side with your sister.”
————————————————————————
A loud thud made noise with this creaking sound. Akaza slowly pushed him self up only to be on a-
Futon? No, this futon isn’t on the ground.it has a sort of, frame? Elevating it from the ground underneath.
Perplexed Akaza looked around in his surroundings. It seems he’s in a room with no shoji but with one or two windows. Akaza laid his eyes on the kyodai (a small vanity in the tashiō era). Although, Akaza noted that it seemed a lot more western;Infact the whole room seemed to be based on more western objects which was unrecognisable. Was he and Daki teleported to a different country?
He got of this weird different cultured futon as He looked at himself at the mirror.
‘Why are my kanjis gone? Same as the marks on my torso and face?’
Akazas hair was still pink and he still had stripes on his wrists. Although, as for his marks on his body. They suddenly vanished. While there isn’t no kanji in his yellow eyes: infact, his eyes weren’t yellow anymore.They were now an ocean blue, which Made him seem more human like. Akaza cautioned himself towards this opened wall.
‘I’m going to assume this is a western styled shoji, whatever if I find Daki we might be able to teleport the fuck out of here.’ Akaza thought to himself.Although, as soon as Akaza stepped into this hallway.
“HYAHHHHH”
Akaza suddenly turned around in the hallway. Barley dodging the frying pan that skimmed past his head. Only to dead pan when he noticed it was Daki.
“I MIGHT NOT KNOW WHERE I AM RIGHT NOW AND WHY I LOOK SLIGHTLY UGLIER BUT I WILL STILL KILL YOU IF YOU COME NEAR ME.RAH”Daki held multiple kitchen sources in her hand. As well as wooden spoons and plates.
“I CAN DO CLOSE COMBAT AND FAR RANGE COMBAT. TRY ME BASTARD IVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR CENTURIES.”
Akaza gaped blankly at daki. who had white hair and blue eyes with no kanji in sight.Yet she still had her revealing outfit on,the same outfit from normal.Also to add on it seemed that she was speaking clear English? Which was weird.Since the both of them was foriegn to the language.
“I MIGHT NOT HAVE MY BLOOD DEMON ART BUT I STILL HAVE MY FUCKING SASS” only to get more worried once the “stranger” in Akazas clothes come closer towards her
“Daki it’s me Akaza. I got teleported here to while trying to talk to your brother.” Akaza put his hands on daki shoulders.
“Oh, right I should’ve reconigsed your clothes. Sorry for nearly obliterating you Akaza-Dono”
“About that, I’ve realised that we are not demons anymore. Hence us having a different appearance and not dying from the sun light being brought in from these windows.” Akaza brought his hands down then brought one to his chin. He continued to think.
“Right! Akaza dono before I realised you were here I couldn’t do any blood demon art. Also I accidentally cut my hand on one of these blades I’m holding and I couldn’t regenerate!”
Daki showed her hand that still had the fresh cut.
“Right you need to patch that cutup Daki, We don’t know how fragile our human bodies are right now.”
Akaza held dakis wrist and walked around the place.It seemed to be a home of a human already, so Akaza looked cautiously.
“I think this is a bandaid. Put this on over the cut quickly. We need to find an exit out of here or something that could help us okay.”
Daki held akazas shoulder firmly. Making him turn to face her.
“What about my brother?”
“He will be just fine without you for now. We just have to find something that could get us back for now.”
Daki nodded her head. Trusting a higher ranked demon is more reasonable then freaking out like she did earlier.
————————————————————————
“Ughhh, we’ve been looking for ages now. All there is this dumb looking stuff!” Daki huffed, throwing an iPad onto the bed.Then walked towards the closet to see female clothes inside.
“This is the only room we haven’t looked at yet.just keep looking”
Akaza looked at picture frames and objects.He then continued to open the first draw and pull out a black bra.
Akaza sighed “another unkown western thing.Although it could be used as rope?”
Akaza turned to Daki, who snickered.
“Akaza-dono, I think that’s a western sarashi.”
(Sarashi was used to hold and cover the female and male chest in the tashiō era lmao)
Akazas face suddenly went red.Shoving the bra back into the draw and shut it.Face going even redder when he realised that there was loincloth in the draw aswell.
“Well Atleast we know the home owner is a female.”
Akazas eye twitched,
“Sure.”
Daki sat on the bed and grumbled.she looked up to Akaza who sat on the chair to the vanity.
“We are stuck Akaza-dono.it’s no use.”
Both Akaza and Daki began to sulk and look towards the floor.
It was silent until-
*keys jingle,click.*
Suddenly Daki and Akaza look at eachother in suprise.While Akaza slowly got up from the chair and walked to the edge of the door. Daki got up from the bed and followed closely behind his shoulder.Even though Akaza wasn’t as cool as her brother.She knows that Akaza was stronger then both of them combined;Making her feel safer behind him.She would never admit it though
Akaza and Daki peered around the corner.
The front door closed. Revealing a girl in a coat that’s been caught out in the rain. The H/C girl took her shoes of and went to the bathroom.Which was across the bedroom in the girls small apartment.
Y/N was broke.Making money of two jobs,one being a waitress at some fancy restaurant.Whereas her second job was working in a bakery.She owned a small apartment with only one bedroom and one bathroom.It was somewhat messy.Yet she never cleaned it though.
“Fuck”
Akaza muttered under his breath. He admitted the human girl was admirable. She might not look like the women or dress like the women from the tashiō era but none of that mattered, he still thought of her as pretty.
Same as Daki. She wouldn’t admit it but the girl that’s just came through that door was nearly as pretty as her.She wouldn’t admit that though.
Y/n started to walk towards her bedroom. Only to alert the duo
“Shit we need to hide.”
Daki and Akaza looked for a place to hide. Akaza hides under the bed while Daki decided to hide in the closet.
Y/N enters her room.
“What the fuck is the iPad doing in my bed? I haven’t used that in like a week?”
Y/N picked her iPad up and placed it back on her desk
“So like what? You’re telling me that you want to quit to be a vollyba player.What world are we in? Haikyuu?” Y/N chuckled to herself on the phone.
All Akaza could see from under the bed is feet.
Y/N picks her towel up from the floor and wraths it out.
“Right susumaru,I’ll call you later I’m gonna hop into the shower.Aha alright cya.”
Y/N places the phone on the bed while she walks out the room to take a shower.Akaza comes out from under the bed and looks at the device that Y/N was just on.
“Daki the humans gone”
Daki slowly comes out the closet holding a cute hoodie.
“I shouldn’t be hiding from humans:humans should be hiding from me” she groaned
“This clothing is so cute though.”
Akaza picked up the phone and in curiosity.He examines it up close.
“Daki don’t you think this is strange?”
Daki turned around.
“What do you mean?”
“We are humans.In a different country,We don’t understand it’s culture nor language but we understood that girl perfectly?”
Dakis eyes widen.walking to Akaza and putting the hoodie down onto the bed.
“Whatever’s happend to make us teleport it has changed up completely.what if we are in a different universe.”
Akaza turns on the phone.Completely distracted by this futuristic technology.
“Whatever’s happening,we need to get back home and inform master-“
Akaza was cut of by a scream.Which caught the two kizuki off guard. Making them both turn around to the girl standing in the hallway.
The girl tried to run towards the door. Since Y/N couldn’t call the police on her phone since that weird emo guy had it.She had to get out quickly. Maybe use somebody else’s phone to call the police.
Although her idea came to an halt when a hand came over her mouth.
“Look human.We don’t know why we are here either,we are just as scared as you are”
Y/N bit as hard as she could on akazas hand causing him to let go of her mouth. Although he still had his other arm slung around her waist and Daki kept hold of her shoulders, causing her to stay put.
“Look I don’t give a shit about your weird roleplay and cosplays but I’m not into this! so get the fuck out of my apartment before I call the cops!”
“AKAZA-DONO SHES CALLING RE-ENFORCEMENTS IN! WHAT DO WE DO!?!”
Akaza loosened his grip around you and closed in onto Y/Ns ear.
“Look lady, me and my ally really don’t want to hurt you at all.Will you sit down and listen to us,please?”
Y/N seeing how they don’t have any weapons nor seem to have any threat. She decided to come to an agreement.
“Out of safety,I will only listen if you guys stay Across the room from me.So I know you won’t hurt me.”
Akaza let go around her waist and looked her up and down.aHe grabbed Dakis shoulder causing her to let go of you too.
“Of course.”
Y/N walks towards her own bed and plops herself down on it.She grabs hold of her phone tightly while signalling the two to go on the other side of the room.
“Go and stand infront of the closet.”
Daki grumbled and rolled her eyes.
“How can a girl so pretty be so bossy”
Akaza pulled her alongside him to the closet.
“You are one to talk Daki” Akaza bluntly spoke.
Infront of the closet Daki and Akaza stood. Akaza shrugged his shoulders
“Is this fine enough for you lady?” Akaza questioned.
Y/N crossed her legs and rested her hands together.
“Yes.now fucking explain to me why two people broke into my house in some weird roleplay? Not only that why do you keep calling me a human like you guys aren’t human yourself?”
Daki chuckled
“Well actually human, we aren’t”
Y/Ns eyes broaden while she laughed
“You what? I don’t seem to understand? Are you guys still roleplaying even though I threatened to get the cops involved?”
Akaza begings to explain what happend from the beginning.
————————————————————————
“Right.. so the two of you got isekai’d?” Y/N pondered.
Akaza and Daki looked at eachother in confusion
“What’s that?” Daki asked
Akaza turned his head side ways in bewilderment and stared blankly towards Y/N.
“Isekai’ is where like…how do I explain it, it’s where people gets teleported to another universe whether it be a game universe or a movie universe.”
Dakis mouth was agape.making an ‘ohh’ sound.Akaza just crossed his arm and look to the side.
“I guessed that’s what happens to us then.”
Akaza turned to look at you.with slightly blushed cheeks.
“Do you,perhaps know how we could get back”
Y/Ns face blanked.Were these lunitics serious? She stood up from the bed and grabbed the two demons roughly and started to drag them towards the door.Akaza and Daki was just bewildered.
Y/N stopped at the wooden front door.
“Look,you two seem really nice and you guys kept me company which I do appreciate.although your both crazy and I think you guys need mental health if you guys genuinely think whatever this magic phenomenon that’s going on is real.”
Y/N gave them a gentle shove outside the door.
“Look I really don’t have time for this I have to have a shower then get ready to go to bed.I now only have four hours to sleep until I have to get up to the bakery tomorrow morning.”
Daki and Akaza frowned at her comment.
Y/N yawned and looked past the two who seemed desperate. To see it’s starting to get darker and darker outside.She couldn’t help but feel like shit leaving two mentally I’ll people to walk by themselfs in the dark.she wouldn’t want to be responsible for whatever happens to them;yet she doesn’t want to keep them inside her small tiny apartment.
‘Damn you self conscious’ y/n thought to herself.
“If it makes you two more comfortable I can order you guys an Uber? To any place you want I’ll pay for it.”
Akaza looked behind him and thought to himself what an Uber was while daki irritated started to twitch her eye.
“Look stupid human, we don’t know where we are we need to get back home!”
Daki thrailed her arms around the place.Starting to think about gyutaro.She started to become more and more upset.
Y/N pinched the bridge of her nose. At this point she just wanted to slam the front door in their faces.she wont though since She will feel bad afterwards.
“Well if you don’t know where you are how about I get you a god damn Uber to the closet police station. They can get you back home.”
“No;No,No”
Akaza rejected shaking his head. He pointed at y/n .
“Look lady, you said we were isekai’d. That means not a simple police station can get us home. We got teleported into your home.There must be an exit in here somewhere.”
“Yeah outsmart her smartness akaza!” Daki added on
Y/N now irritated decided to leave all her morals tonight.
*SLAM*
Y/N shut the wooden door on Daki and Akaza and locked the key whole.
“People just get weirder and weirder everyday.”
Before y/n went to go and turn the shower on, the shower she was supposed to be finished with two hours ago. She turned around and looked through her doors peep hole.Only to see Akaza sat on the apartment complex floor and Dakis upper half leaned over the apartment balcony crying.
Y/N felt alittle guilty.
“I’ll call the cops to help them.there’s nothing o can really do to help them,there delulu” y/n considered.
Her thoughts stopped abruptly when a loud-
POP!
Y/n stood baffled when a white blonde teleported and fell onto the floor. He seemed tall.He also had weird clothes on like the other two from before.Having a red turtle neck and weird beige pants. With socks and…SANDLES?ew.
“What the fuck.”
She cautiously walked to the guy now on the floor to see that he’s unconscious,Y/N squatted down next to him and blow wind his face.
“Hello? Why did you just teleport into my living room?”
She checked to see if he was alive by checking his heart beat-
Wait.
“Me and Akaza are demons lady,so what” y/n remembered what Daki said earlier.She didn’t want to believe them but when a big weird looking dude just randomly teleports into thin air in you living room things seem a lot more believing.
For fuck sakes.
————————————————————————
The door clicks open. Only for Daki and Akaza to see Y/N inviting them back inside.
“I think I understand what you guys were on about now.”
𝐘𝐎𝐑𝚰𝚰𝐂𝐇𝚰'𝐒 𝐒𝚰𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 — 𝗒α𐓣ᑯ𝖾𝗋𝖾 𝐌υ𝐙α𐓣
how muzan would react to his darling being the sister of yoriichi headcannons:
Tumblr media
𓂅Muzan would most likely find out about you due to Kokushibo.
𓂅Unlike your other brother, you are close to yoriichi due to the lack of jealousy.
𓂅Your personality is relatively close to your twin (yoriichi), however you would be a lot more chatty.
𓂅When Muzan finds out about you, he sends demons to spy on you. He wants yoriichi to pay.
𓂅Muzan would sometimes personally stalk you, and to find you with yoriichi having tea would frighten/anger him.
𓂅He wanted you to himself, you were his not your brothers. Kokushibo however was loyal to you and pretend that he didn't know a lot about you.
𓂅If Muzan did kidnap you (99% he will) then he would most likely mock yoriichi first by leaving a note.
𓂅You would immediately be made into Mrs.Kibutsuji, and Muzan's obsession would worsen over you.
𓂅So when you see Kokushibo, you would be pissed off but overtime due to a forgiving nature begin talking to him.
𓂅Kokushibo and you have a lot more in common than initially thought, meanwhile yoriichi would become slightly mental.
𓂅He blames himself for Muzan taking you and will try to hunt the demon king down.
𓂅Muzan will slowly upon up to you and will turn you into a demon, sometimes even letting you explore around.
𓂅Throughout the whole abduction, Muzan teasingly updated Yoriichi whilst spending time with you.
𓂅The narcasstic charms his way into your arms and will make sure your twin suffers greatly.
𓂅If yoriichi is ever able to get you back, Muzan would be furious yet unable to do anything yet wait for him to weaken...
+ DOUMA HEADCANONS + (Yandere implied
Tumblr media
CWS + Yandere themes implied, death, obession, manipulation, breaking legs,
NOTE + mmmmm school is eating me up but have this while I hide in the library
+ YAE SHIGAN +
I - Want death? Ya got death.
II - Let's face it, I don't even need to write yandere at demons, we KNOW they are.
III - If we look at how rarely uppermoons meet humans and slayers, the places you'd encounter Douma are small.
IV - You probably met at the Eternal Paradise cult. (Whatever reason you had to go there.)
V - Since Douma is confirmed to have no emotions or whatsoever, the feeling is foreign to him
VI - So he grows extremely attached to you, curious of this feeling.
VII - At first he's curious, but he also grew cautious. Maybe he thought you were drugging him somehow?
VIII - Confused became curiosity, curiosity became attachment, and now he's just totally obsessed with you.
IX - Unlike Giyu and Gyomei, he actually takes VALUE to your words and feelings. He won't get hurt by your words because, well, he didn't get offended when Akaza ripped off his head so why would he get offended by some of your silly words?
X - By taking value to your feelings and words, i mean he actually cares about your feelings, but due to him being well yes, practically emotionless he doesn't show it too well.
XI - I think he's the type to have a conversation with you then still be thinking about the things you've said, even if you don't remember saying them.
XII - He isn't shy, so he'd most likely just go over to you and strike a conversation with you when he meets you later on at the palace.
XIII - In this case, you weren't planning on staying any longer than just a day, which upset Douma a lot. He didn't want you leaving!
XIV - How can you leave when you just showed him feelings he never knew he had? And then leave right after? He felt as if his long gone heart had been shoved down his throat then taken out again.
XV - Overall he became really upset, so he tried manipulating and persuading you into staying.
XVI - When that didn't work, he had no other choice than to use stronger measures.
XVII - Aka breaking your legs and keeping you from leaving.
XVIII - Now you can't walk or run cause your legs don't function! It'll take long before they heal because luckily for him, you're human.
XIX - He definitely wants you staying human for long as possible, but he knows the end is inevitable.
XX - Might not believe me, but if he REALLY wanted, he'd keep you alive as a human until you started suffering from old age, a deadly disease or any type of aging that causes problems to body.
XXI - Thats his sign to turn you into a demon.
XXII - He almost got scared that your personality was going to perish when he turned you into a demon.
XXIII - Luckily you still have it, but unfortunately for him you still remember the things he has done to you in your human life.
XXIV - What a shame. But it's not like you can escape him.
XXV - Even when now you're a demon, he'd make sure that you weren't gonna get any stronger than you were right now.
XXVI - He'd try his best to keep you away from uppermoons, but they'll eventually find out.
XXVII - And they did find out. Kokushibo's reaction was stoic. Akaza would be furious because he kidnapped you, and even hurt you, (if you were a female, if you are anything else Akaza would be grossed out by his behaviour.) Daki would be grossed out aswell, and definitely would try to hide the whole thing from Gyutarou, (so he doesn't get any ideas.) Gyokko would just be silent about the whole thing lmao.
XXVIII - Muzan, that already wasn't that fond of Douma, would point it out as a weakness. Kind of like this. (imagine it as a uppermoon meeting.)
"Douma, you are holding a young demon captive, aren't you?" Muzan would say. Which Douma wouldn't deny.
"Worst of all, they're becoming a hindrance." Muzan said and turned his head. Douma was turning quieter by the moment. "As i suspected." Muzan said and turned his head back.
"Apologies! I don't think Y/N is a hindrance-" Douma said but was cut off by Muzan's death glare. Gyokko proceeded to break in and defend Doumas statement.
"I see."
"L/n will cease to exist if she becomes a hindrance, i trust that you can take responsibility for them." Muzan proceeded. "Or someone will put an end to them."
XXIX - When Douma transformed you, you didn't go as much berserk as other demons would. Which confused him but he shrugged it off. It was only later on when he realized, you weren't eating, that he grew suspicious.
XXX - He'd then find out that you didn't eat humans. He didn't mind this since it means you weren't going to get any stronger, but starving was hell for demons, so he was concerned on how you were going to substitute it.
XXXI - His affection of you is probably gifts, actions and words of affirmation. He definitely likes hugging and holding you. Gifts.. is another thing. I imagine he'd give you things like incense (the ones that don't smell like a million factories.) that you could burn together and a handfan.
XXXII - If he's not with you, (rarely.) he'd have you trapped somewhere in the palace to make sure you don't leave. And even if you did it wouldn't take long before he found you.
XXXIII - He'd be willing to kill anyone and anything for you, to the point you'd have to ask him to stop. As a result he'd become more fond of killing people, in front of you.
XXXIV - Douma's a sadist, so he'd definitely like the reactions you give whenever he kills someone in front of you.
XXXV - Even if you literally go on your knees and tell him to stop nicely, he still won't. Afterall, you give such cute reactions! How can he stop?
XXXVI - Douma really cares about you, and doesn't tolerate anyone mistreating or talking bad about you in the palace.
XXXVII - As soon as he learns that people talk about you behind his back, his ears literally turn into sound adapters.
XXXVIII - Anyone who has talked bad about you or looked at you for too long didn't last less than 3 hours.
XXXIX - Overall him on the dangerous/yandere radar? 10/10. Very dangerous. You'll have to rely on luck to get out of this.
+ YAE SHIGAN +
たいしょTAISHO SECRET --
When you were still new, Douma froze the flowers you picked for him so they would last longer.
(KNY) YANDERE PLATONIC! KOKUSHIBO x SISTER READER: You, Shibou. I, Kokoro (CHAPTER TWO)
Previous Chapter ☆♡☆ Masterlist ☆♡☆ Next Chapter
AO3 link
CHAPTER TWO: "You crazy-ass cosmonaut, Remember your virtue, Redemption lies plainly in truth"
(IMPORTANT NOTE): So, Decided to turn this into a whole ahh fic. Anyways, This takes place in my SLAYER+ AU. Which is something I haven't talked about but the general jist is that it expands the story of Demon Slayer
So if anything in her seems a little bit off its either because its apart of SLAYER+ or I've just made a mistake.
Thank you!
Tumblr media
Impostor syndrome is an internalised thought process which make people doubt their standing or achievements, Believing themselves to be undeserving of praise.
This can make the person in question believe that they are not as great as they are portraying. This syndrome often comes hand in hand with other disorders such as Depression.
Cut, Slice, Stab, Pierce!
The blade's movements flowed through the air and struck like lightning against the demons neck.
It wasn't even aware it was defeated until its head hit the ground.
Bouncing once, Then twice until it rolled away like a running coin.
The demon's head came to a halt. The soft sun rays of the oncoming sunrise started to sizzle at it's skin, Making the edges burn away into fading ashes.
The words he wished to say died on his tongue, Watching as the man only a few feet away from him sheathe his sword and exhale once through his mouth.
It was like the slayer didn't even make any effort to kill him, Like he was just doing another chore.
The demon's mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water, Trying to find the syllables to say yet the only sound he could produce was only a single vowel.
"H-How..?" He choked out. The sun started to reach his face now, Ashes scorching out and fading in a blitz.
The slayer said nothing, He only turned back to the demon. His eyes shown through the small rifts on his mask, The vivid colour looking back at the demon with.. Nothing.
There wasn't any emotion shining behind his eyes, Not like any other of the demon slayers he had faced before eating them.
Disgust, Pity, Resentment.. None of that was present. Not a burning hatred or a disgust for his kind. Instead he seemed tired, Exhausted even.
The last thing the demon saw before burning up completely was the slayer turning back around, Walking off towards the sun.
Then, His remains dissolved entirely, Fading back into the world from where he came from.
Just like all the others.
The bowl of udon sat uneaten on the table.
[F/N] held a single chopstick in his hand. He circled it around in the bowl, Watching as the contents rippled around like koi in a pond. By now, The noodles and toppings had cooled down, Being now only lukewarm.
[F/N] stared dead into the bowl, Seemingly enraptured by the movements.
It was early in the morning. [F/N] had been called by the crow and arrived at the swordsmith's village only half an hour after sunrise, Yet it was too late. By the time he got there the battle was already won.
It was an Uppermoon attack, Reportedly both five and four were attacking the village. Except from the Entertainment District incident this was the first time an Uppermoon was seen and actually killed in over one hundred years.
If he didn't take a detour to slay a nearby demon he would of gotten there in time to fight the two. [F/N] chided himself for his stupidity.
"Hey.. You're making that face again.."
[F/N] snapped his head up to look across the table.
Mitsuri Kanroji, The Love Hashira, Sat looking at [F/N] from across the table. She had a look of concern on her face, At least as much concern she could show with a clump of noodles stuffed in her mouth.
Mitsuri, One of the combatants in the fight went up against number four and survived. After winning the fight she had decided it was only right to celebrate with a feast. [F/N], Who was already there at the village was invited to join her.
[F/N] accepted, It was convenient. A way to break the news easily.
"What look?" [F/N] asked. The eyes on his kitsune mask widened with the movements below.
"The face-mask thingy.. The one where you look like you despise your food personally.." Mitsuri explained using several vague hand movements to gesture to [F/N]'s face. "How'd you even eat with that thing on anyways?" She added.
"Oh.. Right." [F/N] mumbled.
Moving his hands up to the leather straps reaching behind his head. Unclasping the clip at the back with precision he placed the mask on the table besides his sword, And suddenly he became a she.
The previous build of a strong athletic man had dissolved into the smaller frame of a young woman in her early twenties. The sleeveless slayer uniform and dragon-patterned haori that fit perfectly before had suddenly became oversized, As if she was wearing a rather large blanket.
"Kyah~! No matter how many time's I see it, It doesn't get any less cool!" Mitsuri gushed. The ghost of a smile graced [F/N]'s face and shook her head, It seemed like Mitsuri was back to her normal self.
"..But even though it was cool, It's not gonna get you out of telling me what's wrong" Mitsuri tutted. Shoving another shrimp kebab into her mouth from the dozens of plates beside her, A mountain compared to [F/N]'s anthill of a bowl.
"Really? Nothing does get past you, Does it?" [F/N] mumbled, Trying to gather her thoughts while catching her breath at the hit of sudden weakness.
"Nope! Now spill. You know you can tell me anything right?" Mitsuri said. She set down her fresh plate of food, Her attention now set fully on the woman in front of her.
[F/N] felt her lip quirk, A sudden anxiety chilling her.
"I.. I guess I was just worried about you, 'Tsuri. Are you sure you're okay? A battle with an Uppermoon is no joke, You know?" [F/N] worried, Checking over her form to check for any wounds or bruises.
It wasn't a lie, [F/N] was worried about Mitsuri. She was her closest companion, The woman she could call her best friend yet [F/N] supposed that was why it was so hard to tell her the real truth.
Mitsuri hummed for a second.
"..Of course I'm okay.. Though I do have to admit the fight did give me a run for my money, And you should of seen the mouth on that demon boy!" Mitsuri exclaimed, Recalling the early details of the battle.
"Really? What'd he say to you?" [F/N] asked.
"He called me a tramp! Can you believe that? I've never heard such foul language come out of anyone, Demon or Human!" Mitsuri exasperated. The usual dramatic tone she always wore was present in her voice, Good. [F/N] could confirm she was alright, Atleast in mind.
"Anyways, I swear! If I wasn't strong enough to survive that blast or my if my breathing style wasn't as fast as it is: I would've been a goner." She concluded, Shaking her head.
"I'm glad you're alright, I'm just sorry I wasn't there to help you" [F/N] replied, Sombreness lacing an undertone of her voice.
"Don't worry about it, I surv- WAIT! What I said just reminded me, I forgot to tell you!" Mitsuri squawked, Suddenly jumping up in her seat.
"Hm?" [F/N] lowered a brow, Prompting her to continue.
"Do you remember those Kamado kids? Tanjiro and Nezuko, Doesn't ring a bell?" Mitsuri questioned.
"Erm.. Who?" [F/N] asked in return.
"You don't remember them? The boy with the checkered haori, The absolutely adorable little demon girl?" Mitsuri squealed as if she was a mother gushing over her children's achievements, Fanning her face to cool down her ever-present blush.
[F/N] hummed and searched through the archive of her memory.
"Nope, Don't think I've met them." [F/N] concluded, Her mind drawing a blank.
"Wait. You showed up late to the meeting right?" Mitsuri snapped her fingers, Suddenly recalling.
"..Yep. If you mean the outside portion then yeah, Missed it." [F/N] said nonchalantly, Finally taking a clump of noodles and moving it up to her mouth.
"Ah, Right. That makes sense then. You should really keep better track of time, [F/N]" Mitsuri scolded lightly, Taking another bite of food. "Anyways, I've decided to send them your way!"
[F/N] paused. The cluster of noodles inches from her lips stopped mid-way through Mitsuri's sentence.
"..What?" [F/N] queried, Lowering the noodles. Maybe she had misheard. Mitsuri quirked a lip.
"Erm.. I decided to send them your way..? The boy, Tanjiro has this special breathing technique… And since you've got the most expertise on breathing styles I kind kind of.. Sent him your way?" Mitsuri said slowly, Trying to pique what kind of reaction [F/N] would have.
She watched as [F/N]'s face morphed into a kind of blank stare, The same one she had while glaring at her soup.
Mitsuri let out a small squeak, Waving her hands about.
"I-I didn't really mean to! It just kind of came up in conversation and I kind of let slip that you might have some information since you've helped others before on this stuff- And.. And he just kind of decided to find you- I didn't know you were coming here so he's already on his way to the Kakushi Base, I'm really sor-" Mitsuri's babbling came to a halt at the feeling of a hand gripping hers, Stopping its movement.
[F/N] sighed lightly and looked back at Mitsuri with a small smile.
"It's fine, 'Tsuri. You don't need to explain yourself, It's just.." [F/N]'s small smile dropped.
[F/N] knew that she needed to tell her eventually, If she didn't get it over with it now then it would be more difficult later on. [F/N] just prayed she'd understand.
"I didn't just come here to celebrate your victory.. I.. I need to tell you something" [F/N] started. Her [E/C] irises met the lime green hue's of Mitsuri's. She stared into them trying to gather up the confidence while Mitsuri only stared back with a concerned gaze as she picked up her chopsticks.
Setting her hands on her lap, She took a deep breath.
"I'm retiring."
Mitsuri dropped the chopsticks.
They fell back onto the plate, The resounding clack! seemed so much louder than it did before as it echoed around the room.
"W-What.. Come again?" Mitsuri stumbled on her words, She was in shock as her shoulders tensed up. The surprised reached her face, Disbelief in her eyes and her jaw slack open.
"I'm retiring, 'Tsuri." [F/N] repeated, Confirming her words to Mitsuri. The silence was deafening.
Suddenly two hands gripped onto [F/N]'s shoulders from across the table, Almost pulling her over.
"What?! Did you get hurt? Did someone die? What happened? You can tell me you know, I won't say a word to anyone!" Mitsuri exclaimed, Shaking [F/N] by the shoulders from across the table.
"Aah! Nothing happened to me, Tsuri! I'm fine!" [F/N] blurted out, Still being shaken around.
Mitsuri lifted her hands off from [F/N]'s shoulders, Yet it wasn't a relief as Mitsuri got up from her seat. [F/N] following close behind her as they met face to face.
"Then what, [F/N]? If you're not hurt or anything then why?" Mitsuri questioned, Her pitch lowering down to a low plead as she got closer to [F/N], Gripping her hand tight.
[F/N] raised their entwined hands, Putting her other hand over Mitsuri's.
"Listen, This isn't something I'm doing on a dime, Okay? I've been thinking about this for a long while now.." [F/N] said.
"Since when?" Mitsuri prodded.
"Since Tengen's retirement.. Since Rengoku's death. It's been on my mind for a long time, And I just think it's time." [F/N] explained. Her voice stung at Mitsuri like a live wire, It sounded strained like something was blocking up her throat.
Mitsuri squeezed [F/N]'s hand tighter.
"[F/N], I can't understand but you need to be with us in the Hashira right now.. We still haven't found a replacement for Rengoku or Tengen. You of all of us can't quit, Not you." Mitsuri argued going closer to [F/N]
"Out of all of us in the Hashira it's you who is the strongest out of all of us, You even beat Gyomei in that department. Do you even remember what you did?" Mitsuri continued.
[F/N] frowned hearing Mitsuri's declarations of grandeur towards her. She looked away, Either in shame or embarrassment she didn't know.
"You're the Soul Hashira, [F/N]! You're the slayer who killed a thousand demons in a year, All on your own. Do you understand the weight of that?" Mitsuri announced.
[F/N] Fujimori, The Soul Hashira. She was the woman who killed one thousand demons in a year, A feat done by no other in recorded history. A feat so big that lower members of the demon slayer corps even doubted she existed, Something only possible by both her reclusive nature and her actual appearance during the day.
The mask. A rather old looking porcelain kitsune mask with black and blue markings, It was a trinket [F/N] had acquired long ago. It had a rather unique effect where whenever [F/N] placed it on her face, She could suddenly change her appearance at will.
She didn't understand it nor did she ever know how it worked but she decided like the vast majority of things that it was better to not look a gift horse in the mouth, A sentiment she had carried ever since childhood.
So, Using it to her advantage [F/N] made herself into the peak version she could be, Or he to be more accurate. An athletic masculine body, More muscle mass than a normal person yet only enough so that it didn't weigh down her movements, Making her both strong and agile in a fight.
It was the entire reason she was able to achieve the title of "Strongest Hashira". That and along with the countless hours of training and meditation, That is.
"Mitsuri.. I understand who I am alright? I know who I am and it doesn't matter to me, It never has. Neither my strength or title.. Even if I did change my mind about this I've already sent my resignation letter to Oyataka-sama, He should be receiving it by tonight.." [F/N] started. The look of determination and finality on her face as she stared Mitsuri straight into the eyes.
"I just.. I feel like my time as a Hashira has ran it's course. After I leave I'm sure Gyomei will be just fine in taking my title.. All my life I've been giving my life and serving other people, I think it's time that I be selfish for once in my life and retire like I should." [F/N] finished, Her stance wide and steady, Unshaken from Mitsuri's argument.
Mitsuri looked at her, The final part of her sentence made her frown once again.
She reached out a hand and placed it firm on her shoulder.
"[F/N].. Is this about him?" Mitsuri whispered, A rare frown painting her face as she looked deep into [F/N]'s eyes for the answer.
[F/N] pried her eyes away from her, Trying to find anywhere except her to look at. Her jaw trembled, Only slightly.
"It is, Isn't it..?" Mitsuri continued quietly.
"Shizuko will be fine without me, Mitsuri!" [F/N] said, Whipping her head back round to face The Love Pillar with a sudden angry tone, Like a nerve had been struck.
Though, Her anger dissipated once she seen the taken aback appearance of Mitsuri.
"I.. Sorry, 'Tsuri. You know I didn't mean that.." [F/N] said, Mimicking Mitsuri's movements by resting her hands on Mitsuri's shoulders.
"No, I shouldn't of brought it up like that.. I'm just surprised, Okay?" She consoled.
[F/N] sighed.
"It's just you're acting like this will be the last time we'll see each other. That's not true, 'Tsuri.. You don't need to worry about me.." [F/N] said quietly, The argument before now mellowed into a discussion.
Mitsuri shook her head.
"We joined together as slayers and fought with each other, I just thought one day we'd both leave together. Like we always have." Mitsuri explained. The onset of tears forming in her eyes were quickly wiped away by [F/N], Who walked over to the food table and picked up two cups of sake, Holding one towards her to which Mitsuri took hesitantly.
"I know, 'Tsuri.. Even though I won't be a slayer tomorrow, I trust that you'll be there for Shizuko, Okay? But tonight I am still a slayer, So please. While this is our last meal as comrades this isn't our last meal as companions. So for the last few hours I'm still on payroll, Let's enjoy tonight." [F/N] said.
Holding her cup of sake up to Mitsuri who smiled at the gesture.
The clinking of the cups signalled the festivities. As celebration Mitsuri had called for more rounds of food, As much as she could imagine (Which was a lot). While [F/N] had called for another few bottles of their strongest sake.
By the time they were done the sun was about to set over the horizon. The crystal clear cerulean had long faded into burnt tangerine skies, Soon to fade into a star-speckled ebony night.
[F/N] had changed into a suitable kimono and her signature haori at this point, Her mask carried in a leather pouch and the large medieval sword hauled on her back with surprising ease.
Mitsuri and [F/N] had walked out past the remains of the village, Their celebration being both of the victory, [F/N]'s retirement, And a final farewell to the memories made inside the houses.
They got past the villagers cleaning up the rubble and packing up their things, Mitsuri stopping and thanking them for their help on their way, Hand in hand with [F/N]. They had called for a carriage to be sent which arrived soon enough, One of the rich tokyo-centered one's for rent coming right down the path being pulled by horses.
"Well then, This is my ride then.." [F/N] concluded as she was greeted by the driver, Who bowed once then helped her up onto the footrail of the vehicle. She looked back at Mitsuri with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes, Her hand slipping from Mitsuri's hold.
"I'll see you soon, 'Tsuri" [F/N] said her farewells as she turned around and opened the carriage door, Stepping in.
But suddenly, [F/N] felt herself tugged back by the hand.
She turned around to face Mitsuri, Who seemed just as surprised as [F/N] was at the sudden contact.
"Ah! Sorry, My bad. I didn't mean to do that, Apologies..!" Mitsuri half-heartedly giggled. [F/N] returned it with a curt nod.
"Don't sweat it." [F/N] said, Stepping fully inside the carriage now. However, Mitsuri called out to her.
"Just.. When you get to the Kakushi Base, Don't do anything extreme, Alright?" Mitsuri said with a smile. Yet [F/N] could tell there was something more to it, Something that was just out of reach of [F/N]'s hold.
Instead she returned the smile.
"Of course, Nothing extreme." [F/N] said, Waving her off as the driver closed the door, And with a whip of the reigns the horses took off. Eventually, Mitsuri along with the village grew smaller and smaller, Until they weren't visible at all.
[F/N] laid her head against the glass that was rattling along with the carriages movements along the dirt road. But despite it, Either due to exhaustion or the amount of sake she had drunken, Found it rather easy to go to sleep.
As she felt her remaining consciousness slip away her eyes closed, Embracing the darkness until the blizzard faded into view.
The sounds of heavy footsteps echoed around the ever-changing space of the Infinity castle.
The reverberation of biwa strings and far-off chatter could be heard from far away, Bouncing off the moving shoji-walls and polished wood floorings. The place smelled like fresh sawdust to the point that it left a lasting impression on the scent of anyone coming in or out.
The dim lighting of the paper lamps and candles alit barely gave any lighting to the movement of the two demon's making their way to the centre of the castle.
The larger of the footsteps strode in front, The other lighter pair trailed along behind the larger pair.
All of Kokushibo's eyes were put dead forward, Set on the task ahead of him. His nagagi kimono wove lightly in the short breeze travelling through the cavern of rooms along with his ponytail swaying with it.
Kaigaku sheepishly trailed behind him from a fair enough distance, His eyes were focused fully on the demon in front of him.
They both had been summoned by Nakime, Assumedly along with the other Uppermoons or at least what was left of them. This was the second time in the same week they were called to the infinity castle and Kokushibo already had a suspicion to why.
Kaigaku however, Hadn't gotten a clue.
"Master.. M-May I ask why is it we have been summoned here today?" Kaigaku stuttered out, Fidgeting with his hands as he eagerly waited on his mentor's answer.
Kaigaku, The newest upper rank after the siblings perished and having the honour of baring the title of Kokushibo's Tsuguko. Of course, The title of Tsuguko suggested that Kaigaku would take over from Kokushibo one day, Which was a complete misnomer.
Kaigaku, Despite being a previous breath wielder with potential had absolutely no chance of passing Kokushibo in power.
He wouldn't dare to anyways, He could barely keep himself together in front of him. Challenging Kokushibo for his spot at number one was simply unthinkable.
"Keep your voice low.. You'll find out.. When we get there" Kokushibo hissed, Keeping his eyes in front of him as he spoke out in a deep, Raspy sort of voice.
Kokushibo could see Kaigaku flinch from the corner of his eyes, A chill running down him at the sound of his voice. Kokushibo hummed. Good, He knew his place.
Eventually they reached the centre of the infinity castle, Looking over the clearing.
The faraway chatter had turned out to be arguing. Douma seemed to be pestering Akaza as usual. Douma seeing a friendly bonding exercise with his subordinates while Akaza only saw it as a taunt, Which was most likely the truth.
"Akaza-dono! Why'd you have to be so cold with me, It's been so long since I've seen you after all!" Douma drawled, A grin plastered wide onto his face like a salesman as he placed another hand onto his shoulder.
Akaza's actions spoke more than his words as a single fist shot up, And in a burst of blood and tendons Douma's arm tore from its socket, Falling helplessly to the ground.
However this only made Douma grin wider, As the limb regrew almost as soon as it was severed.
"It's only been a day, Keep your hand off of me." Akaza said through gritted teeth, Taking a few strides away from Douma.
"Ah! No need to get so offensive now. I guess I've just missed you all so much that it just felt like days! Weeks.. Month even!" Douma mused with a dramatic exclaim, Snapping his fingers together as he watched Akaza walk away.
"Whatever.. Nakime!" Akaza called out, Turning the the woman tuning her biwa only a few feet away on the podium. "The rest of the Uppermoons.. Where are they?" He asked, Steady and firm on his feet.
"Uppermoon one and six have arrived, As for the other two.." Nakime cut herself off, But it didn't matter. Akaza had disingaged and already snapped his head around to look up, Spying both Kokushibo and Kaigaku looking down on them.
Akaza's eyes narrowed as he scrutinized the two above him.
"Upper six.. one" He said, Only giving a nod of respect to Kaigaku: Who nodded back rather feverishly towards his superior.
"Akaza.." Kokushibo drawled. All six of his irises stared him down like an ant under his sandal, A stare that made Akaza's muscles tense and his fists ball up.
"I thought I had reminded you.. Last time.. That you ought to show more respect to your superiors.." Kokushibo started. Though his voice was levelled, Akaza could sense the irritation behind his voice. A feeling they shared mutually.
"Kokushibo-dono..! So glad to see you.." Douma called out. Despite the salesman smile still painted on his face, The cheery voice dimmed into a more cautious tone in Kokushibo's presence. Kokushibo ignored him.
"You are continuing to ignore the hierarchy set in place.. As I've said.. Challenge him to a blood battle if you are unhappy.." Kokushibo finished, His calm tone coming to a finality as the remains echoed around the silent atmosphere of the Infinity castle.
He didn't wait for Akaza's response as his overhanging figure suddenly vanished from view, Making Kaigaku yelp from the sudden disappearance of his mentor while Akaza only muttered something angrily under his breath.
Kokushibo manifested a good bit away from the group, Sitting on his knee's in-between one of the hanging castle halls.
What a waste, He thought. Akaza, Even after being as generous to spare him the first time he challenged Kokushibo to a blood battle, Never took his advice.
The first time, He had knocked him to the ground. It hadn't even been five minutes before he had been truly, utterly defeated.
Akaza had lain on the ground, His limbs barely regenerating as he watched Kokushibo slowly walk up to him. His scrutinizing glare burning into Akaza's soul like the suns ray's to his skin. Taunting him, Looking down on him from his unshakable throne.
It would of been better if Kokushibo had just absorbed him, Akaza thought. Even as he was spared it felt like he was an injured bird, Completely dependant on the mercy of whoever came across him.
He hated that feeling, The feeling of him being completely helpless under another's will. He would of rather been absorbed then feel that for the rest of his existence.
Kokushibo on the other hand had felt as if Akaza was wasting his potential.
He had already gotten to Upper three, His potential was there, Almost glowing. Yet he wasted it with his morals, The ones he had carried over from his human life. Akaza refused to consume women, Even went so far as to never lay a hand on one.
Kokushibo had urged Akaza to give up these morals during their fight, It's why it lasted so long anyways. Women did tend to be more nutritious and by not eating them entirely he was cutting off his food source by 50 percent, And Kokushibo had tried his best to convince him of that.
Yet ever-stubborn Akaza refused, While Kokushibo's position was untouchable the same could be said for Akaza's principles. Akaza was weak and refused to change, To get stronger and instead mainly relied on traditional martial arts training.
As the final strum of the biwa reverberated around the castle, Kokushibo knew that it was barely enough. Akaza couldn't protect who he held dear in his human life, Even though he couldn't remember his past he still held his will strong, Carrying on the memory of who he lost.
Kokushibo felt disgusted, Hatred.. And that same spark of green from his human life. And as the meeting finally began, He started to feel like maybe most of it wasn't directed towards Akaza.
And he felt disgusted at that too.
The cold gusts of wind hit against [F/N]'s face like titanium whips on bare skin, Creating patches of red skin and aching pain.
The blizzard raged on. Both hailstones and large clumps of snow hurled down onto the forest ground, Coating the ground in a thick layer of avalanche. The trees hit each other in the wind, Beating and smashing into each other in the sheer force of the gales.
It was cold. It was so, so cold.
Every inch of [F/N] felt numb, It ached when she moved. Her chest hurt a lot too, So much more than the cold eating away at her. It felt like someone was constantly turning a iron blade inside of her chest, Making sure every sharp end dug into her chest and cut open frozen blood.
It was a reoccurring nightmare. Every time [F/N] fell asleep she woke up in the same place, In the middle of the woods during a snowstorm.
They had started a few months ago, Around the time Rengoku had died. At first she thought it was just another one-off nightmare and decided to ignore it, After all, Nightmares were common in her line of work.
But when they had continued, Night after night after night. [F/N] had had enough and tried to seek help. Doctors, Experts or anyone that could help her she had ran to asking for assistance, Yet nothing that had been provided to her that could help came along.
So after months dealing with the Night terrors with no remedy she had decided to stick it through, To see if it would go away on its own.
So now, [F/N] trudged through the rushing winds. Pulling her foot from the snow and slamming it back down in front of her was a herculean task of its own.
The blizzard seemed to pick up on intensity, The snow hitting the ground harder like thrown rocks and pushing [F/N] around in the winds.
She didn't know why she kept moving forward, Keep trying to go further than the last time. She had no reason to, But inside of her aching chest the instinct resonated, It drove her forward. Trying to escape the snowstorm.
However, There was always a point inside the dream. The breaking point, Where her legs couldn't hold anymore, When the weight of her strength died out inside her, Making her collapse into the snow, Burying her alive in it.
When it happened she curled up into a fetal position, Trying her best to hold on to her life force slipping away. She couldn't cry no matter how much she had wanted to, The dehydration burned at her throat making it impossible.
The last thing she felt was.. Warm. The frostbite finally reaching her heart, A bittersweet heat invading her failing organ system as it shut down. She yearned for something, Weakly calling out to someone with her dying breath.
When she finally closed her eyes, Letting the darkness swallow her whole as the last thing she saw was a man coming upon her. A tall figure amongst the storm, Looking at her, Rushing forward with his purple kimono swaying in the wind.
But before she could see his face, Death had already siphoned her. The darkness being the only thing she could see.
[F/N] shot up, Gasping for air.
She looked around frantically, Heart beating like a drum. Survival instincts kicked in trying to quickly examine her surroundings.
Though she relaxed once she saw the wooden inside of the carriage she was in. The rattling of the vehicle moving along the road comforted her, Confirming that she was safe.
She let out a big sigh, Watching as the exhale turn into cold mist in the morning air.
[F/N] raised an eyebrow, Turning to look out the carriage window. It was snowing, The glisten of white sleet covering the ground shone in the pre-dawn sunlight. [F/N] felt her heartrate pick up again once more when she remembered her dream, Only for a split second.
It wasn't the harsh snowfall of a blizzard, Nor was the mist of cold vapour taking up everything in sight. Instead, It was the soft fall of flakes slowly making their way down to the earth, As well as only a whisp of frozen vapour dancing in the air.
It was the kind of fall where you could stand outside catching snowflakes on your tongue, The kind where you could stand idly by with a cup of hot tea in hands; Watching the beauty of cold terrain. [F/N] rubbed her eyes, She wasn't back in her dream.
Judging by the cold she was near the Kakushi base. She had set off at the first sign of the setting sun and had woken up when the sky was still a deep navy blue, Only the cracks of sunlight making their way through the edges of the faraway mountains.
Moving over to the front of the carriage she tapped on the glass window.
"Hey, How long until we reach our destination?" [F/N] called through the window. The driver turned back to look at her for a moment, But ultimately kept his eyes on the road.
"I'm just about to stop up here, Is that alright with you?" The driver responded. [F/N] mumbled out a yes and lain back in her seat.
She watched the snow fall carefully as the carriage ascended up the mountain.
"So, Urm.. Do you have anyone waiting on you, Ma'am?" The drive asked tentatively.
"..Nope, No one in particular." [F/N] replied, Keeping her eyes outside the window watching the snow fall.
They were left in silence for a short moment, Left only to the sounds of turning wheels and a rattling base.
"Then.. I wouldn't suppose you don't know the man down there?" The driver called out after a while.
The corner of [F/N]'s lips quirked, Twitched for a moment as she was brought out of her stupor and put straight into confusion, Caught off guard.
"What man?" [F/N] asked, Her tone raising a little in alarm. Who could be out here at this hour in these weather conditions?
"Eh.. He's a little bit down the road, You might be able to see him from your window." He replied suddenly gathering a bit more in tone at the sound of alarm in her voice.
[F/N] didn't hesitate to peer round, Craning her head as far as it could to try and get a good look at the ma-
Oh.
Oh, fuck.
[F/N]'s limited vision revealed Gyomei Himejima, The Stone Hashira, Standing a good few metre's down the pathway from where they were headed. He didn't move, But from what she could see he was waiting on the carriage passing them.
"Ma'am? Are you alright?" The driver asked, Concerned. But by the time he had let out the first word the blinds on the windows had already been shut.
"F-Fine! Just slow down and park in front of the guy, You can leave afterwards. Okay?" She called back to him, Sticking her hand through the little window hole with a handful of cash to which was taken immediatley.
"Alright then.." The driver said, But she didn't hear him as she was already pulling out her rucksack. While Gyomei was blind, He had extraordinary senses. Plus the fact that her voice also changed to a more masculine lilt when she put on the mask.
The fact was that [F/N] was actually a woman was suppose to be a secret, With only a small handful of people including trusted handmaidens, Mitsuri, Shinobu and Oyataka-sama actually knowing about the mask.
It was something she didn't tell anyone, Why she didn't want to say is something she didn't tell anyone either. Though it didn't really matter in that moment, Only the quick rapid succession of her rucksack opening and clothing getting flung everywhere.
Gyomei listened as the carriage rolled down the pathway, The cold seeping into his skin didn't seem to bother him and if it did then he did a good job of hiding it. His hands pressed in that same praying position, Haori flowing in the soft breeze as he heard the carriage come to a halt in front of him.
The door opened with a squeak, The thumping of boots hit the snow with a crunch!
"Himejima-san! Great to see you, What brings you all the way out here?" [F/N] called out, A fabricated cheer in the voice now belonging to him. He walked out a few steps toward Gyomei, Now wearing his slayer uniform and kitsune mask as the carriage went away.
"Fujimori-san.. It is good to know that you are in a cheerful mood." Gyomei said, His voice was filled with the ever-present sorrow. Tears eternally running down his face as he rattled the beads in his hands.
"Of course, I always am.. But uh.. What about my question? What brings you all the way out here?" [F/N] asked. In the corps she was only known by her last name, Fujimori. Her first name might be too much of a give away.
"I believe you are already aware of why, Fujimori-san." Gyomei muttered out. Despite [F/N]'s new tall and imposing form, It felt like comparing a tree to a shrub when in the presence of Gyomei. His height easily towering over him by a good foot.
[F/N] clicked his tongue, He already knew why. Though he felt it appropriate to continue his ignorance.
"..Not a clue, Care to enlighten me?" [F/N] drawled out, Feigning stupidity as the clanking on Gyomei's beads came to a jolting halt.
"..Please, May we not go back and forth like this again.. This is a serious matter." Was all that Gyomei said to [F/N], Yet his words held much deeper implications.
The simple truth was that both [F/N] and Gyomei didn't get along, It wasn't due to anything they had done to each other or anything they've said. But it just so happened that they both had rather conflicting personalities and philosophies.
Gyomei was a buddist monk, [F/N] was a shinto shrine maiden. Gyomei had conviction and it showed through his blade, [F/N] had barely any drive when she drove it into a demon's neck. Gyomei was the ideal hashira and someone to look up to, An idol among men. [F/N] couldn't even show up on time to meetings.
It would be wrong to call the two rivals, Though you couldn't deny the tension that followed the two whenever they were in a room together. [F/N] sighed and pinched the temple of his mask.
"Yeah.. Okay, You got me. Nothing gets past you, Eh?" [F/N] started with a rather sarcastic chuckle "Oyataka-sama sent you 'cause of my resignation letter, Right?"
"Correct."
[F/N] groaned lightly through his mask, He knew he should of expected this yet last night's sake and exhaustion kept it off his mind. "And let me guess.." [F/N] raised a hand to stroke his chin, Making an overdramatic motion. "He sent you to try and change my mind?" He gasped.
Gyomei nodded.
"Right now, We can't afford for you to retire from the corps. Two positions in the Hashira have not been replaced and with your retirement especially the corps is surely to take a blow" Gyomei explained.
[F/N] folded his arms.
"Please do understand, Fujimori-san.. It is your duty as a demon slayer to fight until you are unable, To give it your everything. An oath you swore years ago." Gyomei said, Taking a few slow steps forward towards his colleague.
[F/N] groaned, Not even bothering to hide it this time.
"Oh don't talk to me about Oaths, Gyomei. Have I ever told you how much I hate those?" [F/N] started, The fabricated cheer in his voice now gone and replaced with one of frustration and annoyance as his mask mimicked as such.
"Oaths are just words, Gyomei. No matter how you want to put it or how binding it may seem.. Oaths, Promises or Vows.. They're just words at the end of the day. The only thing that matters is the actions that follow, And you know that I've never given it my all, And right now I feel so tired of this damn job that I might as well be unable.." [F/N] finished, The exhaustion haunting the undertones of his voice like a parasite.
Gyomei frowned a little more.
"If you are so tired of this job.. Then why would you come into this line of work in the first place..? We all have motivations here, And I'm sure you do as well." Gyomei asked.
[F/N] scoffed, Who was he to ask such a personal question? An annoyed tinge rose up inside him, However he felt something else come up along with it.
It was true, Being a demon slayer was hard. It was certain death by many horrible and painful ways, The only reason you'd ever want to be one is for your motivations.
Gyomei's found family of eight was slaughtered by a demon let in by one of the children, Betrayal was his motive. Sanemi's mother slaughtered his siblings, Anger was his. Shinobu, Revenge. Giyuu, Grief. Muichiro, His memories. Even someone like Mitsuri had the simple yet powerful desire to help people.
Everyone had a motivation, Everyone except [F/N].
[F/N] said nothing, His body freezing in place not just from the weather.
"I.. I.." He mumbled.
He twitched his fingers, Shuffled around his foot in the snow as he tried to search for a response.
"..It's cold. We can discuss this later, Ideally in a warmer environment." [F/N] finally concluded.
Gyomei didn't make a move, Only for a second. Then he nodded.
"Alright then.. Let's go then.."
"The first time in centuries, An opportunity has finally presented itself. A way to conquer the sun." Muzan finished his announcement, His voice echoing out to every corner of the Infinity castle.
He stood far off, On higher ground than any of the uppermoons below him--Some kneeling in respect and others listening patiently.
Muzan's voice, Though still the dark commanding tone persisted, It had a new lilt to it. It was something they had never heard before, It was something lighter and almost relieved if they didn't know any better.
"I fully expect all of you to focus all of your efforts into finding and capturing the Kamado girl. Alive." Muzan emphasised from where he stood pacing, The usual lab equipment he had out was behind him untouched.
At the start of the meeting, When the biwa string called- It had been announced that both Uppermoon five and four had been slew.
First it was the previous number six, Daki and Gyutaro. Their death's hadn't been a spectacle as they were the lowest rank and as Muzan had put it: Predictable. Daki was holding Gyutaro back, End of story.
But now that two Upper ranks were defeated together, The tone in the castle had shifted. The onset of worry now seeping into the atmosphere most evident by both Akaza and Kaigaku.
Though by the end the information brought out by their deaths had brought about a new shift in the air, A way to conquer the sun right at their fingertips.
"From here on out you are to act more diligently. You are not to rest until you find and capture Nezuko Kamado, I don't care how you do it nor do I want to know, You get it done" Muzan finished, Turning away from the audience below.
"Do not disappoint me"
And with that, Shoji doors slammed shut and he had gone.
The silence ruminated loud within the infinity castle, Louder than any shout or scream could ever be. The finality of his words being the only thing whisping away at them.
"Ah.. A demon girl resistant to the sun? How interesting..!" Douma exclaimed from where he sat, A fan raised over his face to conceal the malicious smile creeping up on him. "I wonder.. Which one of us will be able to get to her first?"
Douma looked over at Akaza, Who hadn't moved from his kneeling position on the floor. Though the cracked glass blue of his eyes shifted up to Douma at the hint towards him.
Akaza knew what Douma was doing, And he clenched his teeth at it.
"Akaza-dono.. What about you?" Douma teased, The fan covering his face did no good to hide the edges of his grin which was now spread from ear to ear.
Akaza's lips trembled, The urge to say something itched at his tongue yet the warning Kokushibo had gave him earlier made it feel too heavy to move in his mouth.
"Hmm..?" Douma insisted, Leaning closer towards number three.
"Back. Off" Akaza hissed lowly, The threat only made Douma laugh it off. Though his eyes narrowed as he watched Akaza march off, To which he cocked his head to the side.
"Kaigaku-dono, How about you? As one of the newest members I'm absolutely dying to hear your opinion!" Douma hummed. A predatorial glint shone in his multichromatic eyes as he stared down his subordinate.
Kaigaku froze in place, Looking back at Douma like he had snakes for hair.
"E-Eh..?!" Kaigaku stuttered. His clawed fingers fidgeting with the edges of his ebony kimono, The mere acknowledgement of his superior was enough to send him into a nervous halt.
"Come on, Don't give me the cold shoulder now~!" Douma persisted. Kaigaku gulped.
"W-Well I personally am g-going to-!"
A sudden sensation of freezing water ran down his back, Caught off by the sudden presence lurking behind him.
"Douma.. Maybe if you spent more time taking your duties as Upper two more seriously and less time distracting my Tsuguko.. You would find out who gets the Kamado girl first.." Kokushibo said, Towering behind Kaigaku to look down at Douma.
Though Kokushibo was never one to care what Uppermoons did to their lower counterparts, He did get a little irritated at the lack of commitment to Muzan's cause.
"Ah..! Apologies, Kokushibo-dono. I wish good luck to you..!" Douma called out as he walked off.
"Nakime!" Kokushibo called out to the biwa lady. And with a single strum both Kokushibo and Kaigaku had vanished.
The large doors to the shrine opened up at the arrival of the two Hashira, The hinges creaking as it revealed the courtyard.
[F/N] and Gyomei walked inside, The courtyard grounds recently salted leaving no indication snow had fallen despite the fading flakes still gliding down.
The Kakushi Base, One of the only few demon slayer headquarters along with The Swordsmith village and the Ubuyashiki estate, As well as the newest. The base was made up of an old Shinto shrine dedicated to Inari [F/N] had came across a few years ago, And in her time as a slayer had been made into The Kakushi base. Before then all operations were relegated to the Ubuyashuki estate.
But now after being renovated several additions to the blueprints were added. More rooms and hallways covering the top half of the mountain for storage and activities. A third floor with several Kasugai crows coming in and out of their aviary assigned with missions. And finally was the library, A place where records of all sorts were kept.
Of course, It still being a shrine did still hold importance as most of the slayer operations had been assigned to the lower floors while the main area was used for religious practice. During the day it was quieter, With only a few shrine-maidens walking about. But at night The Kakushi activity was more prevalent.
Still very early in the morning, A lot of Kakushi were still about and greeted both [F/N] and Gyomei with respect as they passed. Either lurking around for business or resting up.
In the springtime wisteria bloomed all around, Yet as the winter came in the wisteria had died and given entrance for snowfall.
Opening the main doors and closing the door they both felt the relief of the shrine's warmth wash over them from the unrelenting cold outside.
"Welp.. We're here!" [F/N] exclaimed, Resting his hands onto his hips. Gyomei nodded, Turning towards him.
"So.. About your resignation.." Gyomei started, But was instantly interrupted by [F/N]'s groan.
"Ah right, forgot about that.." He breathed, Pinching the temple of his mask. Gyomei shook his head lightly.
"There is no avoiding the topic.. It is better if we discuss this over now than later.." Gyomei stated, Despite the walk giving them enough time to think he hadn't shaken in his opinion "If I may ask.. What do you plan on doing once you retire?"
The question seemed to make [F/N]'s lip twitch, A movement that the mask mimicked perfectly. In that moment, [F/N] silently thanked Inari for Gyomei's blindness.
"..Ah, You know. Drink a surplus of sake.. Go for a real long rest.. Maybe I'll take a little trip abroad north, I'll see if I'm in the mood." [F/N] drawled.
"It pains me to know how little you are dedicated to your job.. Fujimori-san." Gyomei mourned. [F/N] sighed.
"Listen, Himejima-san.. I know-"
"Master?"
A voice cut off from down the hallway they stood in. [F/N] peered over Gyomei's shoulder to find the source.
Genya Shinazugawa stood at the end of the hallway. He was dressed in a sleeping yukata and held a pillow under his arms, [F/N] remarked to himself about how much he looked like his brother.
Gyomei turned around.
"Ah.. Shinazugawa-san.. I see you are doing well.." Gyomei greeted as Genya walked down the hall towards the two Hashira.
Suddenly however, A realisation stabbed into [F/N] like a pike.
"Himejima-san.. Did you bring both of your Tsuguko here..?" [F/N] whispered lowly only Gyomei could hear. [F/N]'s expression seemed empty now, Devoid of emotion and instead replaced with a serious demeanour.
He raised a brow.
"Yes.. Both of them are here, I decided to bring them with me.." Gyomei said. Finally letting Genya catch up to the two of them, He finally noticed Fujimori who went hidden due to Gyomei's height.
Genya stopped once he finally saw [F/N], Realisation of who he was and his portfolio hit him hard, Before bowing in respect.
"F-Fujimori-sama! I'm sorry.. Was I interrupting anything?" Genya asked, Realising the position the two were in.
[F/N] looked once at Genya, Then Gyomei.
"No, No. You're fine.. Apparently the snowstorm outside is going to get worse, You two should stay here for tonight.." [F/N] chuckled, His serious expression now turning light once more before walking off.
"Fujimori-san, We are not-"
"Goodnight, Himejima-san." [F/N] asserted with a finality in tone. [F/N] waved once behind him.
"Rest up, You two!"
☆♡☆
The door closed lightly behind her, A loud click resonating out.
[F/N] took a few barefoot steps down the stairs feeling the warm water submerge her ankles. She sunk further, Watching as the aqua parted to make way for her as she reached waist length.
Mist rose up from the pool, Mixing with the cherry lotus incense drifting through the air and crafting a new potent steamier aroma.
[F/N] felt herself sink until the water reached her neck, Bubbles rising up tickled at her skin once they popped. [F/N] let out a large sigh, As if she had been holding her breath for too long.
"I'll miss this.." She hummed. Her wary muscles relaxing as she felt her entire body melt into mush.
Today had been a long day. When she took her mask off she was just known as [F/N], The head-maiden of the shrine, And being head-maiden brought upon a lot of duties such as leading prayer ceremonies or just the daily tasks around the shrine.
As soon as she had slipped off the mask as Fujimori and came out as [F/N], Her day had started. Brushing the floors, Avoiding Gyomei and his Tsuguko's, Handing out orders to the other maidens in the shrine and tending to both the crows and the injured Kakushi; All in her daily work.
Not to mention her daily training. Four hours of meditation in the morning, Her workout in the afternoon and her night-time prayer ceremony had taken a lot out of her.
So as [F/N] let her aching muscles be remedied by the water, She couldn't help but let her worries slip away from her; Her nightmares, Retirement, Shizuko.. Only to be replaced by the foggy steam of the bathhouse.
She wished she could stay like this forever, To be swept away by the warmth and never get out.
So [F/N] sunk lower, Soon enough the tip of her chin was submerged, Then her mouth, Then her nose. All the way until she could no longer be seen from the surface.
[F/N]'s body floated in the water. Watching as the bathhouse lights become blurrier and blurrier as she descended further, It distorted until it was only a glowing overlay in the aqua.
She heard the sound around her be muffled by the water, The sound of talk in other rooms, A slow click and the soft sound of the bubbles ascending.
Her lips parted, Letting her breaths come up in air pockets and rise back up to the top. Straining her eyes in the water the pressure of it comforted her like a blanket on a cold night, Eternally staring up at the distorted light as her breath was taken away.
Her lungs depressed, But it didn't matter. To [F/N] this was Nirvana, Heaven or Valhalla, Whatever you believed to be waiting for you after death. Her lungs depressing wasn't important now.
In truth, [F/N] was a shintoist, She has been for as long as she could remember. She believed once people died they returned to nature, Their souls energy going back to where they came.
It sounded peaceful to her, Warm, Never cold. The last bit of oxygen escaped her trained lungs; Lips finally closing.
The water only got hotter, Bubbles rising up quicker and quicker before suddenly her eyes bolted open, Now aware of the presence in the room.
The light she had been staring at was obscured by a hazy figure. She rose up quicker than she had sunk gasping for air.
She surfaced with a large splash, Making the figure flinch away from the sudden movement. A loud desperate inhale let out only interrupted by coughs erupting from her throat.
She flung the top half of her body over the edge of the pool, Hanging on as if her life depended on it and coughing up spurts of water.
"Ah! I'm so sorry, I thought..-" The figure stuttered. [F/N] hauled her head up to find that it was a young boy clad in demon slayer uniform, A checkered haori hanging off him.
"W-What the.. Who are you?" [F/N] wheezed, Wiping her lips. She could of sworn she had locked the door, How someone got in here evaded her.
"Ah.. My name is Tanjiro Kamado, I came in here because I saw Fujimori-san's haori on the hook outside.. Um.. I'm so sorry, I must of been mistaken.." Tanjiro apologised, Quickly turning away.
The checkered haori, Right.
"N-No.. No.. What is it that you want Fujimori-san for?" [F/N] asked, Spitting out the last of the water.
"Oh, Uh.. I was told that he had some information on my breathing style from Kanroji-san, Do you know where he is by any chance?" Tanjiro said, Not turning around.
"No, But I'm the head shrine-maiden here, I know just about as much as he does.." [F/N] said.
"Really? Would it be alright if I talked to you for a bit?" Tanjiro asked, Back still turned to the woman digging her nails into the floorboards.
"Sure.. Just, Why aren't you turning around?" [F/N] asked.
"U-Um.. You're sort of.. Naked?" He responded nervously.
"Ah! Get out, Get out!" [F/N] screamed out, Grabbing and holding up one of her sandles to throw.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! AHHHH-!"
☆♡☆
[F/N] sat herself down on the tatami mat, Fixing up her haori.
"Well then, I apologise for my indecency earlier.. I believe you had some information you wanted to know about breathing styles?" [F/N] asked. Picking up the cup of sake-infused tea she took a sip, The boiling liquid not affecting her as it ran down her throat.
Both Tanjiro and [F/N] sat in one of the rooms of the shrine, Sitting on parallel sides of their little table with a tea-set hot and ready.
At the back on [F/N]'s side was a handmaiden watching over them with the teapot in hand, Ready to serve.
"Yes! I've been to several places around including Mr. Rengoku's old estate, However their records were unfortunately.. Damaged. I was hoping you would have any records or information for me." Tanjiro explained, Picking up his own cup of tea he blew on it before he took a short sip.
[F/N] hummed.
"Describe your breathing style to me." [F/N] asked, Setting her cup down.
"Like.. How it looks?"
"Yep.. How it looks." She confirmed
Tanjiro took a second to think.
"Well.. It's kind of like Mr. Rengoku's breathing, But it's more.. Bright. It's hotter.. I learned water breathing from the old water hashira and this one from my father… He called it Hinokami Kagura." Tanjiro said, Snapping his fingers at the end in recollection.
[F/N]'s finger circled the rim of the cup.
"Hinokami Kagura… I see.." She drawled "Well, Nothing exactly comes to mind.." She finished, Careful to pronounce every syllable while distracted by her thoughts.
Tanjiro's smile dropped ever so slightly.
"Ah.. Alright then, Thank you anyways for your help.." He said as he bowed his head down.
"..But the library may have something that could give you some insight" [F/N] continued.
Tanjiro perked his head up, Eyes slightly opening in interest.
"The library?" He queried
"Yes, The library. It's on the other side of the shrine, First floor. It holds the vast majority of information collected over a few centuries, Both relating to demon slayers and not. If there is any info about your breathing at all then it will be there in the library." [F/N] said. She recalled the several nights mulling over the information in there for her nightmares, If anything was it would be there.
Tanjiro nodded, The smile reappearing in his face.
"This is very helpful, Thank you so much… Um.." A look of puzzlement came over him. "I'm sorry.. You never told me your name?"
"Oh.. My name is [F/N-"
A sudden throb came from her chest, An ache making her keel over on the table, Dropping her boiling hot tea all over the tatami mat.
[F/N] yelped out in pain as The Handmaiden from behind her rushed over to [F/N]'s side with a napkin. Tanjiro also got up and ran to her adjacent side.
"[F/N]-sama! Are you alright?" The handmaiden asked in concern, Trying to dry the stains left on her kimono.
[F/N] only gripped the core of her chest, Pressing down hard and grabbing a fistful of her kimono in the process. She coughed up liquid from within her throat, To which her handmaiden, Maika, Provided a handkerchief for.
"Is it your chest, [F/N]-sama?" Maika pleaded as [F/N] wiped the last of the residue off her mouth.
[F/N] nodded.
"I-I'll go get some medicine! I'll be back soon!" Maika exclaims. She suddenly gets up from her position comforting [F/N] to rush out of the room in search of a remedy.
"Are you sure you're alright?" Tanjiro asked with concern, Resting a hand on [F/N]'s shoulder.
"Yes.. I'm fine.." [F/N] said through clenched teeth. This must of been an after-affect of her bath earlier, A small bit of water probably still lingered in her lungs causing her body to cough it back up.
Tanjiro's nose twitched, His expression only got more wary. [F/N] noticed, Catching the spasm easily she waved him off.
"I'm fine.. Just, I'll take you down to the archives tomorrow alright? I need a bit more rest tonight.." She said. Looking up to the younger boy's singed eyes, Who stared back into hers with a sincere truth.
"..Alright then, Thank you for your time anyways.. [F/N]-san" He bowed his head lightly and got up from the kneeling position on the floor.
"Goodnight, Tanjiro." [F/N] called out to him as he left, He smiled and bowed once more before closing the shoji door entirely.
She was once again left alone in the solidarity of the tea-room. Lukewarm tea splotches dried into her kimono and the tatami mat around her.
The slow throbbing ache in her chest remained in her chest, Small wheezes coming out under her breath every time her lungs decreased. [F/N] chided herself for her stupidity, She should of been more aware of her surroundings, She should of checked.
The shoji door slid open once more, Revealing Maika standing awkwardly in the doorway, Fiddling with her hair.
"So.. Erm.. It turns out due to the current winter.. We're out of the necessary ingredients to make a herbal remedy and.." Maika stuttered, Avoiding eye contact with the woman hunched over infront of her.
"It's fine, Maika.." [F/N] said. However her words didn't do much to stop Maika.
"..H-However the nearest village should have some in stock, I'll go down and gather the right ingredients for you!" She explained.
"..Maika, The snow outside has picked up. I don't want you to get hurt so it's probably best if you stay inside before it gets any worse." [F/N] explained.
"But.. Uhm.. Uhh.." Maika stuttered, Trying to stall enough time to come up with a good reason.
Maika, One of the newer, Younger shrine-maidens. A small mousy sort of girl with untidy golden hair shepherded with ribbons into a ponytail, Complete with the shrine maiden uniform of red hakama trousers and a white kosobe. She had passed final selection yet had refrained from becoming both a slayer and a kakushi.
So she came to the shrine instead to become a maiden, It only made sense that she would want to prove herself to [F/N]. To do her best, To be of some help to people she cared about.
[F/N] supposed she could understand.
"Alright then." [F/N] cut off Maika's babble with two single words. Her eyes widened and sparked up in the light.
"R-Really?! Okay! Uhm.. I'll go do it then..!" Maika exclaimed, Turning around to move outside the room.
"But!" [F/N] interrupted. Maika turned back around.
"If you are to go out, You must find some heavier clothing. And don't try to descend the mountain alone, Find a Kakushi to come with you, Okay?" [F/N] laid down the rules to her like a mother explaining them to her child.
Maika nodded rather feverishly.
[F/N] smirked, Only slightly.
"You'll do good here, Maika." [F/N] mumbled, Maika's face lit up in a large smile ear to ear.
"Thank you, [F/N]-sama! I won't disappoint!" She exclaimed. And with that, She was off.
☆♡☆
[F/N] lay on her futon, Her eyes heavy with drowsiness and stress. She waited on Maika coming back. She didn't mean to lie down, But unfortunately the dragging weights of exhaustion had brought her to her futon, Defeated by the day.
She didn't want to fall asleep. The ever-present threat of the nightmares ate at her mind like Oneiroi. If she could choose to stay awake forever, She would.
However as [F/N] stared up at the ceiling and saw the dark curtains close over her eyes, She could feel the singe of the chill on her skin. The crawling cold sweat running down her neck as the darkness left and the blizzard faded into view.
Closing her eyes she took a deep breath in, Letting out mist as she exhaled.
And as she opened them back up, The storm had risen.
☆♡☆
Kaigaku trudged through the snow, The cold tickling his sandals barely affecting him as he navigated his way through the dark alleyways in search of a meal.
The village had barely anyone in it. He knew as Uppermoon six he could of easily wiped out the entire town, But he liked the game, The hunt for prey, Not the one and done destruction.
His artic coloured eyes scanned over the group of people over at the market, Though dwindled by the storm the crowd was still there, Gathered round the snow covered stall.
He looked at everyone of them, His teeth bare and wide not being able to contain his giddy smile.
He wondered how he could lure each of them individually, How easy it would be to make them cower in front of him, Squeezing out all the superiority from them and consuming it like a parasite.
Then he'd bite into their limbs, Tearing them apart as they screamed and cried for help. Kaigaku couldn't hold back much longer, The mere hunger pounding at his stomach ached for him to feed.
But then, One specific person came into focus.
They had ran over to the stall he was staring at in a hurry. A look of urgency in their eyes, But that's not what drawed him in, No.
It was the kakushi uniform they had adorned.
He seemed to be accompanying another girl, Of what looked like to be a shrine-maiden. They both had ran up to the merchant, Asking for herbs.
His eyes widened at the sight. If he couldn't hold back his grin by now then he was smiling like a madman in a straightjacket at this point.
Kakushi, Rarely seen yet held such worthwhile information for demons. He licked his lips, He could hold off his hunger for just a little while longer.
This was a chance to prove himself to Kokushibo after all.
Please male part 5 yoriichi x Michi wife i really love the series 🫣❤️‍🔥
Hope you're doing good. Please take care of yourself lots of love ❤️✨
You guys are just so sweet 🫣😭
Tumblr media
You felt... Disgusting....
Sleeping with another man that wasn't your husband... How would you face him like this....?
"Now see... It wasn't so bad." Yoriichi mumbled, placing kisses against your neck.
"I... I've betrayed him..." You whispered, holding back tears.
You squeaked as Yoriichi suddenly grabbed your face.
"No... He betrayed you! He became a demon and left you! He left you and your children!" He said as he looked at you with narrowed eyes. "How hard is that to understand for you?!" He asked as he gripped you tightly.
You teared up before looking down. He was right... But Yoriichi took advantage of you.... Of your husband's absence...
You wanted to hate him.... You wanted to so bad.
“Please... Just leave me be...” You whispered as you turned away from him.
Yoriichi paused for a moment before he sighed and nodded his head. “Very well...” He muttered, gathering his clothes before he finally left you alone.
You gripped your sheets as you began to cry.
How could he do this to you? On your sacred marriage bed?
How....?
~~~~~~
You looked over to your children, a slight smile as you watched your son eat breakfast.
“Is mother okay?” Your son asked as he tilted his head to the side.
You paused before smiling and nodding your head. “Yes yes I’m fine... I just miss your father.” You said softly.
Your son looked down as he bit his lip. “I miss him too... But I hate him... He left us... I like uncle Yoriichi better.” He mumbled.
You flinched before placing your hand on his head.”Now now... He’s still your father...” You said softly. “Just finish eating... Alright?”
~~~~~
You looked up at the night sky as you sighed.
He would hate you now...
You flinched as you looked over at the sudden swoosh sound.
“Michi- Ah... I mean... Kokushibo..” You said before you began tearing up.
Kokushibo looked at you before cupping your face. “What... Is it...?” He asked softly as he wiped your tears.
You looked at him as you shook your head. “I-... I’m... I’m sorry... I have been unfaithful to you...” You whispered as Kokushibo stared at you, his six eyes wide.
“What...?”
So you recounted the night Yoriichi had taken advantage of you. As much as you wanted to remember.
Kokushibo stared at you before placing a kiss to your forehead.
“It... Was not... Your fault...” He said before standing up. “I will visit... Tomorrow....
You nodded before he placed you down on the futon, slowly covering you before leaving.
~~~~~
“What is it you wanted to see me for?” Muzan asked as he looked over at Kokushibo.
Kokushibo took a deep breath.
“Master... I beg you to turn my wife into a demon.”
That way... His brother would never lay his filthy hands on you again.

⚠️Kinda Yandere so you can see dark themes
The boys: Kyojuro/Obanai/Gyomei/Sanemi/Muichirou/Genya/Uzui/Giyu/Muzan/Akaza/Kokushibou
Tumblr media
.

KYOJURO/OBANAI/GYOMEI/MUZAN
"-Y/N WHAT ARE YOU DOING?????? Back off, he's the Muzan we're talking about, don't underestimate him, for"  This time not only you but your brother Kyojuro, Obanai in addition to the great Gyomei Himejima are dealing with the most powerful enemie.  Muzan has his teeth clenched in hate against all of you.  "- Hahahaha, why no one told me he was so strong and handsome, no wonder he could live so long, he looks young and healthy, too bad I'll have to kill him, sorry  Mr King." You smile at him, winking. Muzan frowns, never in a thousand years he has seen such behavior and affront towards him. In a sharp answer he wants to awake your fear. "- It will be a pleasure to eat your meat." Muzan's tone it's a calm one, over you are his iris, analyzing you, carefully. "- OHHHH, you alk heard that???  Hmmm he wants to eat me hahahaha." The laughter echoes, the words and the shameless behavior leaves everyone baffled." - Honestly, y/n stop it, this is not the time." Said your brother. In a sigh, your monotonous expression towards him would be common, but not in a situation like this, but by lowering your sword hilt you initiate a family's dialogue. "- Kyojuro, seriously,  why are you always repressing me?  Everything I do is wrong for you, I can't say or do anything, "y/n stop it, y/n don't talk to people like that and blame bla bla", when will you congratulate me with something, damn it, I love you, but let me breathe." Muzan totally ignored in a scene. Everyone's thoughts is "wtf."  The improbable happens Muzan is dominated by the intrigue and magnetism of your personality.  "- Miss. Why don't you become an oni? I'd let you do whathever you want to do."  You stare into the scarlet eyes of his.  Again not bowing to him. "- Whaaaatttt?  Me? Be one pet of yours, I don'tthink so? Listen Mr. "I think the world it's mine"...if my own brother, a man full of values and respectable, already represses me, what about a murderer like you? Ok you are hot, but you need a new brain hahaha." Your eyes shut as you move your shoulder in disdain. With this all of them already decided, Obanai,  Gyomei and Kyojuro,  agreed, YOU NEED GET OUT OF THE BATTLEFIELD.. for sure. With the decision,  Obanai comes up behind you and putting his hand over your mouth to stop your "pearls" comes out, he brings you out of the fight.  From the mouths of all the pillars present the conclusions come.  "- She always does that."  Kyojuro with his head down and a red face apologizes about you, as he always does.  Muzan is watching you being carried away, your sole your soles dragging on the ground as Obanai immobilizes you and you're used to being taken out of the field aren't surprised, it's just like "here we go" while this, your middle finger go towards Muzan's eyes, with "a give a damn atitude. "  The King's lips let out a smirk. Your personality it's just so fun to him, the way like you fear nothinfg, even death, it's like you are above normal humans. With this in mind, Muzan has made his decision. It's strange, but he backs off for now, after give some lesson to the hunters, not to the point to kill them...or you wouldn't be satisfied at all. Not that Muzan would care about of what you think... or would? This is going over his head. So darling, soon your abode will not be at the Rengoku's mansion, after all, you can be anything but a tedious creature, Muzan loves strong emotions.  And you are a unique specimen, "sophisticated" as you are, Muzan will appreciate having you by his side to entertain him, or tease him... after all no ones dare to do until now. Get used to being called spiderlily flower. No more sun to you sweetheart...
.
.
GIYU/AKAZA
Giyu, your younger brother and you had a full day where you wielded your swords time after time with success, always together on missions so it's normal that you protect each other, but Giyu, despite all the calm that inhabits him, today is giving you a huuuge scolding , as if you were the youngest one.  "- Listen y/n, what's on your mind, making small talk with oni in order to provoke them even more and run even more danger?"  Being the brat that you are, I fear if one day you get in front of an upper moon." All you do is shrug your shoulders in a gesture of "I don't care."  "Come on Giyu, don't be mad at your sister, I'm just enjoying the present, nothing more."   Giyu looks at you with a "what did I do to deserve this?" expression.  Outside of your house, watching the stars, you could hear something approaching from behind the trees, he was watching you from afar while you were smiling in your fight to the oni that you have killed, and finding exciting how you were getting away from the oni's blows. Eyes showing proudly to you the message in kanji, the ranking top three. You look back at him. Akaza can see your brave attitude, you don't blink even once. It seems you both have pretty much in common. Kill you now?  No. You were Akaza's new research subject. "- Sorry I'm not working now. Long day" You take your eyes from him and back to the stars. Akaza it's just "???????" An angry feeling is going on inside of him, and steps are firmly going in your direction to intimidate  you, while this you just cross your arms. "- Of course this makes sense to you weak human to say this, you are alone and have no chance against me." Looking at him from the bottom to above and with a naughty smile on your lips, Akaza finds himself wondering if you are really fearless or crazy. He widened his eyes. "- What, will you not answer me?" You put  your hand on your chin and hum to him. "- Well, you said I have no chance against you, and…" In silence and slowly you take your arms from your previous position and go close to him. Akaza it's astonished.  The feeling of his arms being caressed smoothly in his tattoos by your fingertips takes him to another level, angry? Amazed? He seems lost in his thoughts and starts to awkwardly retreat a little. And you proceed with your answer. "- But, would I have a chance with you?" Akaza now takes himself out of the presence of the demon which is you, and runs away as fast as he can. But…he can't escape from how he feels... and the flames are burning in his face like a volcano. Listening you laugh in the background as he gets further and further. You can be sure, y/n... this was not his last visit. You will pay a high price for it.
.
.
UZUI/SANEMI/MUICHIROU/GENYA/KOKUSHIBOU
Uzui and his shinning two red blades moving fast as the sound, are cutting through the flesh of uppermoon one, Kokushibou, who regenerates instantly.  So like Shinazugawa and you are also attacking dancing around him.  "- Dude, he has six eyes, how to beat this guy? I'll tell you brother, he's more flamboyant than you when fighting hahaha. Look, you don't have that cute samurai hair that moves during a fight."  "- Y/n, don't start that shit again."  Speak Shinazugawa.  "- Shinazugawa is right, y/n, although I worry about being flamboyant, this isn't the time y/n. I'm more concerned with getting this monster's head off."  "- Shut up, your sewn rag doll."  Your relationship with Shinazugawa was not friendly, after all, you both have a similar maniacal side, as they say, two alike don't match up. While you exchange offenses, Kokushibou watches your movements. Kokushibou has a thing for refined techniques, seeing you hold your Nichirin with such elegance he recognizes it.  "- An elegant technique, you don't waste moves, madam."  "- Uhull haha saw Shinazugawa, unlike you, grandpa, I don't fight badly."  "-Y/N."  Scream Uzui.  "- What's up? I'm being recognized by number one. I deserve some credit."  While talking and distracting, one of Kokushibou's arms falls to the ground.  Your burning blade surprised him.  "- Thank you sir six eyes, now can you let me cut off your head please?" Kokushibou doesn't seem to believe what he hears and sees.  But he can't let his guard down.  Muichirou arrives to help, as does Genya, who starts getting screams to get out of there from Sanemi.  "- Wow this guy is so annoying, brothers are sucks."  Rolling your eyes and talking as if sharing an opinion on a quiet afternoon having tea with Kokushibou.  This phrase has an effect on the number one.  Yoriichi and everything else that Kokushibou lived through as Michikatsu comes to light.  He hated Yoriichi, he understood you completely.  And with your words, Kokushibou found himself distracted from the blows that constantly hit him.  His arm was taking a while to regenerate, Uzui successfully severs another number one member.  Kokushibou has been missing the fighting members. Without fear of what might happen to you, in one of the moves, you grab the number one from behind. "- Mr oni, I want a hug hahaha."  You are hanging around Kokushibou's neck, who could kill you at any moment.  "- Y/N ARE YOU CRAZY???"  Shout Uzui, didn't I tell you that brothers suck?  You whisper to Kokushibou ears.  He and everyone else is paralyzed by such stupidity.  Your body quickly turns around, bringing with the weight of your legs, Kokushibou's body below you.  The position you find yourself in is embarrassing to say the least, but to you it's nothing.  "- Stand still Mister one, I need to cut off your head."  All the hashiras like in slow motion are going over Kokushibou's neck to save you, Uzui's hands trying to reach you out, wide eyes are over you in disbelief.  But the dialogue that Kokushibou initiates becomes persuasive.  "- One more move and I'll turn her into an oni."  Everyone expected the word Kill, not transform.  You, on top of him, place your hands in support on the floor around his neck as your body leans towards his face.  "You can kill me…why turn me into an oni?"  Your words come out along with a teasing smile."- A really interesting human you are…madam."  "-Please, y/n, get out of there."  Uzui's voice is trembling. Of course you don't mind. "- Lord number one, you turn me into an oni, but I'm still going to rip your head off. Shhh, it's gonna be fast, no pain to you, I promise. "  You place your Nichirin in position to decapitate him. It is quickly going for Kokushibou's neck, who suddenly disappears from under you. Actually, he had never fought seriously, the only reason to keep the fight in sequence was to contemplate the show of embarrassment you were putting on. But your expressions were captivating. He is gone. Just the silence around all of you. No choice, let's go home...( Continued) and it's u natural get scolded one after another...
And it's natural you get scolded one after another while whistling on the way home by Uzui. Your lips move silently imitating him as you shut your eyes and hold your head in boredom. Rest time, after your bath on a hot night, just the towel is wrapped around your curves, your smell spreading into the air. Several eyes scan your features. You hum a song while turning to pick up your robes, as slowly the towel falls to the floor, revealing it your body entirely,  to be adorned by moonlight making it even more exquisite to the creature diving into beauty. In a few seconds the intruder is in your room . "- Madam, I see you are uncovered."  He whispers in your ear with his uncommon sword in front of your throat.  You continue moving as if nothing is happening"- And now you're going to cover me in my own blood?" Your tone is sarcastic.  Kokushibou can't help, but lets out a slight nasal smile.  For not even in the face of death you behave like this. Still sweetly whispering he tells you. "- I think I'd rather cover you with something more comfortable." You just feel a hand on your neck…bye conscious state. As you wake up, your skin is beautifully covered by a samurai's black hair. Ah... I forgot to mention... you now have a pair of hands covering you too, and yes…they are more comfortable... you got your credit…"madam."

Flora, Fauna
Okay, but I'm imagining a demon reader, who uses chlorokinesis as her BDA. But the catch is that she seems so comforting and warm with no ill intention until it's too late.
She is the New Upper Moon Six as a replacement for Daki and Gyutaro, and very often interacts with the Uppermoons so they happen to go yandere for her.
Tumblr media
This man is powerful, and he very often makes it known.
He's a cold, terrifying demon who cares very little about human emotions.
He's ruthless and strict, so he bottles up his heart
So, when he meets his....match? He's not letting go.
When you were first introduced as an Upper Moon, he didn't think much of it
He just acknowledged your presence and that was it
That changed when he stumbled upon you devouring an entire village of people, still looking elegant and poised
That surprised him slightly, normally all the demons all crazy when it comes to battle, and let themselves go
He is humble, and you ask him to join you in your feeding session.
With that elegant smile on your face, how can he say no?
You are quiet and he finds himself enjoying your presence more and more
You carry yourself in a very elegant way, and over time, he falls in love.
But then things get dark from there.
He doesn't want you to leave him, always accompanying you when you hunt for humans, using his position against you, and not allowing you to interact with the other Uppermoons, and his threats are not empty promises.
"Kokushibo, I need to leave, I'm going to go hunt."
"I'm coming with you."
"There is no need. I insist I can go by myself. I'm not going to die."
"That wasn't up for discussion."
Good luck with him.
Tumblr media
(He is so daddy. I'm sorry, but he is)
Muzan isn't loving, he never has been
He believes he is the perfect being, and that you are an extension of his perfection
Anything you do, connects back to him
He can read your thoughts and read your emotions and actions very well, so he can basically read you like an open book
This man sees potential in you, so you receive much more blood from him, and are promoted to the status of an Uppermoon.
He's seen your blood demon art before, but can't find it important enough to remember what it is
All he remembers is your carnage and chaos he had stumbled upon as you killed the last human in the village
He didn't bother caring about you
Until once again, he stumbled upon your chaos, only this time, he got to observe it, firsthand
He watched as you danced calmly in the streets, your voice ringing a strangely sweet sound in his ears
As people came out of their homes and watched, listened to you, enraptured by your voice
It was annoying watching you, so he went to leave until he heard a scream
It ended just as abruptly as it began.
He wasn't mesmerized, but he did enjoy your rather fast and efficient way of killing, but then he watched in surprise as you placed a hand on the ground and a red spider lily bloomed
He calls you over.
"My Lord! Forgive me for not noticing your presence earlier."
My darling, please tell me, what it was that you just did.
"Please forgive me, My Lord! I didn't mean to..."
"Answer me."
"Do you mean when I bloomed the spider lily? Did that inconvenience you, My Lord?"
"Tell me, what other flowers can you bloom?"
"Anything I wish, My Lord! I just need to know what it looks like and then I can make it!"
"No matter how rare?"
"No matter how rare, Muzan-sama!"
"My dear, you've done well. I have one simple task for you, if you can complete it, I'll be extremely proud of you."
"Anything!"
"Can you make me a blue Spider Lily?"
"Yes! Of course Muzan-sama!"
Out of simple excitement, you made quite an abundance of them, and he scooped you up and the flowers with one hand an all-to-knowing smile on his face.
"Good job, my perfect darling."
You are never leaving his grasp again.
"I wonder when Muzan-sama is going to let me leave." You thought, a puzzled expression on your face.
There was a smirk on his face as he studied the flower, not truly believing that this was real, and that it was all a fever dream.
"You don't get to leave, my darling. Stay in here and be a good girl, and I'll reward you with more of my blood."
Tumblr media
This man can't feel a thing, so when he meets you and his heart skips a beat, he is instantly intrigued
You catch his attention pretty quickly, with how humble and elegant you are in comparison to him.
This man is flashy and sort of gaudy
He follows you around like a lost puppy
So much so, that Kokushibo has started to get annoyed with Douma following around his beloved
Even if Douma was assigned by Muzan to make sure you didn't step foot outside the Infinity Castle, that doesn't mean he could be obnoxious about it
Douma is very affectionate, so expect plenty of hugs and cuddling and stuff
He is forceful in his affections but you'll just have to learn to accept that!
What? What do you mean you need to leave and go hunt?
Muzna assigned him to make sure you stay alive and healthy and never leave
Don't be stubborn now!
He also occasionally leaves kisses on your cheeks, arms, and hands
Just because he's obsessed doesn't mean he's possessive, right?
Wrong.
He is clinging to you like a baby and legitimately feels discouraged when you aren't around
He guilt-trips you a lot
Fake crying, begging, the like, he has even ripped out his heart to offer it to you
You can use his vulnerability to your advantage, like crying as well, pouting, sulking
He hates seeing you sad, and when you are sad, he does his best to reassure you, even if it means he has to leave to get you food to bring back
He showers you in affection and makes his followers worship you too, proclaiming you a goddess because of how beautiful he thinks you are
He buys you everything and anything
He offers up his prey to you so you can eat together, thinks of it as a date
He loves spoiling you, so just don't leave him, alright?
"You don't get to leave, snowflake! I have all sorts of things planned for us today! Behave, okay?"

what would it be like if the s/o of yandere Tanjiro, Muzan and Kokushibou was a foreigner who is still learning their language?
Yandere Muzan Kibutsuji
Tumblr media
It is said though that if you had known that Muzan would fall in love with you you would never have come to Japan.
You were just an innocent tourist who was interested in the culture of this closed country.
But your comfortable vacation was interrupted by the fact that the Lord of the Demon fell in love with you and decided to claim you as his own.
Oh, that Muzan would enjoy this.
He probably speaks your first language.
So there is no communication problem between you.
Now Muzan is responsible for learning Japanese.
He will teach you surprisingly well.
However, he leaves "gaps" in your grammar.
Like he won’t teach you to say words like “Help,” “no,” or “asshole”.
You also can't say phrases like "I've been kidnapped", "help me" or "Muzan you're an asshole and I hate you"
Not that he's worried about your escape.
But you can never be too sure.
Right?
Yandere Kokushibo
Tumblr media
Getting to know you can be difficult at first.
You don’t speak the language and Kokushibo can’t go to town.
Because… you know.
Pink hair is a normal thing in anime but a six-eyed man is weird.
But you will meet anyway.
(I didn't figure out how but that happens.)
Kokushibo should think that you can't speak the language properly.
That would make you more helpless.
And helplessness is a good thing in his opinion.
When you squeeze the lemon juice into his eyes, Kokushibo admits that you may not be so helpless.
He would probably teach you Japanese.
Because you really can't escape.
This man didn't let you out of his sight
Yandere Tanjiro Kamado
Tumblr media
You and Tanjiro met in "romantic" characters.
You were on your vacation when you were attacked by a demon. "Fortunately," Tanjiro was close and he saved you.
He will fall in love with you at first sight.
This must be fate.
Tanjiro is sure to start spending a lot of time with you.
And you have nothing against it.
However, he is your savior.
At first, everything is going well.
You will become good "friends" but then it will be time for you to go home.
And Tanjiro does not want to accept it. It's kidnapping time.
It’s also time to come up with shitty excuses for not being able to leave your home.
It doesn’t help that your Japanese language skills aren’t very good.
I think Tanjiro would rather learn your language.
That's why you can't ask for help.
He usually communicates for you.
Tanjiro also comes up with explanations for others if anyone comes to visit.

I'm really sorry, that this happened to you, honey... Poor child, you don't deserve this...
Call me whatever you want =D I'm fine with any nickname. And, yes, please, do whatever you want with it. I will love everything you do.
Well, i'm not very healthy in this part of me, so i'm on pills... And "home methods" don't really help me, but thank you very much for your concern♡
Okay, let's imagine, that Muzan had a Reader from a early age. I love Upper Moons, but i have a feeling, that not all of them are good nannies.
Upper Moons, when the microReader first appeared in the castle. They are still getting used to the Reader.
Muzan has important things to do, and the little Reader is put in the care of Douma. Douma screwed up.
Douma bribes the little Reader, so that they don't tell their dad, that Douma has lost them.
Douma saves his life from an enraged Muzan, after Daki complained to her King, that Douma managed to lose a little Reader.
Little Reader, after beloved uncle Kokushibo scolded them.
You don't have to feel sorry for what happened to me, it was expected after like 6 treatments to my shoulder for my condition, and it could have been way worse! Like I could have died if the place meant of my condition wasn't my shoulder!
I find writing the Uppermoons a bit difficult so~ sorry, if it's a bit wrong, I would love advice, I made them swear some times, :D
they them reader, baby reader
Time to be a horrible nanny :D
a small drabble
Tumblr media
The Upper Moons don't know how to act around Reader, Reader was an absolute adorable toddler.
But they haven't interacted with children for years, a lot of years. Luckily Reader loves cuddles and food, so they're easy with babysitting, if the babysitter is experienced-
Unfortunaly Muzan had an important mission and Douma had to babysit Reader.
Reader has asked to play hide and seek. Douma thinking that they would find reader in a matter of seconds agreed.
Douma screwed fucked up.
Douma lost Reader, for hours. And when Douma finds reader, he bribed Reader with food (Dango). Douma had a whole ass Dango picnic and Reader also asked for cuddles.
Daki also wanted cuddles, but Daki didn't get them.
"Why not~?" Daki asked fake sobbing trying to gain Reader's sympathy. "Because you didn't give me dango!" Reader told Daki with a toothy smile.
So Daki is sulking in a corner now, when Muzan came home seeing a happy Reader cuddling with Douma they smiled at Muzan. "Papa! Uncle Douma is amazing! He gives the best cuddles! But your cuddles are still the best, so don't worry!" Reader rushed up to Muzan attaching themselves to Muzan.
When Reader was put down for a nap, Daki started to complain to Muzan. "Reader didn't want to give me cuddles~!" Daki complained. "Mhm, that's their choice."
"They only cuddled Douma because Douma bribed them with Dango!" Daki suddenly shouted, Muzan's eyes perked up. "May I ask, what you mean?"
"Reader and Douma were playing hide and seek! Douma lost them for 4 hours!"
"Oh~ now did he?"
Douma suddenly felt like Muzan wanted to murder him,
Daki snitched didn't she? What a bitch-
Kokushibo scolded Reader and Douma, and Reader wasn't allowed Dango for a week ;-;

CHAPTER SEVEN: "The souvenirs of a lost country, the hope of a promised land. This divorce between the woman of her life-"
@crazycatlddy
Tumblr media
A scar is apart of the wound repair system in the skin, Being a natural part of the healing process. Things such as stabbings or slices are known to leave rather large and noticeable marks.
"Okay.. So start from the beginning, Take your time and make sure to be as detailed as you can!"
A wooden chair dragged forward with a screech towards the side of the bed, Mitsuri promptly sat herself down on it. Front facing the chair and her head resting on the backrest with a happy-go-lucky grin.
It was early morning, The warm sun only hung just over the distance.
Tender white clouds were woven on the far horizon leaving the rest of the elysian blue clear as acrylic glass. The windows were open in the butterfly mansion to let a feather-like breeze float its way into the room.
A sharp ray of sunlight was brought in too, Shedding light into the unlit room. Particles of dust and fluff floating through were made lucent in the shine as it overlooked the two women.
Mitsuri clicked her pen and readied her notepad with a happy hum.
The chartreuse of her irises were speckled with a star-like glow, A kind of glow that hadn't been present in weeks and burned like the sun.
Maika could near feel it's tender yet scalding warmth when she looked up from her bed as the woman spoke again.
"Go on now! Make sure to not leave anything out, Okay?" Mitsuri spoke with a peppy outgoing tone, One that contradicted her previous demeanour when Maika first greeted her. The bags that were under here eyes were gone along with the mess of her strawberry locks, Now neatly tied into nicely made braids.
Maika clicked her tongue, Trying to recollect her thoughts.
"Well.. It all started when I traversed down to the village in search of herbal medicines. [F/N]-sama had chest pains at the time and we were out of any remedies so I had volunteered to go and get some for her.." She started. A hand was rested on her chin in an mime of thought.
Mitsuri nodded and hummed, Quickly scribbling down something onto the paper in front of her.
"Go on!" She pipped, Continuing to write.
Maika nodded.
"At the time I had brought a Kakushi with me on [F/N]-sama's orders.. We had gotten down to a stall and the merchant and the Kakushi got into a fight. When I backed off.. I.. I was suddenly yanked into an alleyway." Maika said as her eyebrows lowered.
Mitsuri raised her eyes over the notepad, Proceeding to write yet her attention partly dragged itself to Maika at the light of new information.
"It was.. It was Uppermoon six, I.. H-He held me by neck and asked me about the Kakushi I was with.." Maika's voice grew softer as she recalled the memories.
Mitsuri clicked her pen and nodded.
"I'm so sorry to hear that. It must of been awful for you being in that kind of situation, I can barely imagine it myself!" Mitsuri laughed airily, A way of trying to breaking the tension "The new Uppermoon six was mentioned in the report filed by Himejima-san, What happened next? If it's too much we can try this again in ten minutes?"
Maika looked back up at Mitsuri, Obligation already present in her eyes.
"No! No.. I want to be of help, I want to make sure I can tell you everything while its still fresh in my mind." She rebutted, The fire in her eyes didn't quite match Mitsuri's but that didn't mean it didn't put up a fight.
Mitsuri's smile spread.
"Kyah~! You're really admirable, Heihachiro-san. I appreciate your determination a lot you know." Mitsuri squealed, Voice sweet as parfait.
A faded flush rose up on Maika's cheeks, She smiled shyly.
"T-Thanks.. Well.. Anyways, I was able to escape by stabbing him in the neck with the Kaiken all of the shrine-maidens carry around.. I ran out into the street and met up with the Kakushi.. Not for long though as the Uppermoon quickly caught up to us." Maika said.
"And how did you escape?" Mitsuri queried, Leaning further towards her.
Maika inhaled, Taking in a deep breath.
"Well, Before I did he attacked me. Sliced me on the back and injured me pretty badly.. The Kakushi was able to distract him and he ordered me to run. I didn't want to but I had no other choice, So I did.. I ran off into the mountain" Maika replied.
Mitsuri followed up her explanation with a quick squiggle onto the notepad, A single brow comically furrowed while she sung a quick song under her breath.
"The Kakushi.. Right! And after that you were able to make it all the way back to the shrine in time to see [F/N]?" Mitsuri asked once more. The fire in her eyes stoked as soon as she mentioned the name.
Maika paused for a second, Trying to recall what happened. The entire thing was a snowy blur, The mist on the mountain that day was now clouding her memories as she looked back with a hazy eye.
"Erm.. I.. I can't remember how I got back, The most I remember was a general direction and a will to live I guess.." Maika chuckled. "But before I knew it I was there, And suddenly a a wall collapsed onto me. I don't know how much time passed after that but next I know there was Fujimori-sama and the demon fighting."
Mitsuri's breath hitched. The point after she had been dragged off by Seijun, The point where everything fell into obscurity. None of fact or knowledge but instead theory and assumption.
[F/N] was eaten, That was the general consensus. It was one that made Mitsuri feel sickened, One that made her keel over and her head spin. It was the only rational explanation due to the body being missing. It was the only reasonable one because there was no one there to see it happen.
No one except Maika.
"They had been fighting for a while it looked like. Eventually it reached this sort of peak and Fujimori-sama went in for a neck slice.."
"And..?" Mitsuri mumbled, Leaning even forward on baited breath as she waited for Maika to finish.
"And.. And.. The demon cut open her stomach, [F/N].. She fell to the ground next to me, Laying against the wall bleeding out…" Maika spoke softy, Sensing it would be a tough topic for the woman perched over her bedside.
Mitsuri's smile gradually turned into a frown as the maiden spoke, Her lip trembled as it morphed into a frown. She steadied her breathing when it picked up once more, Keeping a steady rhythmic flow in her lungs.
A demon actually able to defeat [F/N]? Unheard of! If Mitsuri was told so a few months ago she would of waved it off as heresy. But now with everything that's happening, It didn't sound so unbelievable now.
She had been injured badly by the sounds of it. Cutting open her stomach Maika said, The mere thought made Mitsuri bite her tongue. It was worded like it was fatal but..
"Yes.. Yes I see.. But you said that [F/N] is alive.. R-Right?" Mitsuri's voice quivered.
Maika paused for a second before slowly nodding.
"I had lost a lot of blood at that point so it's a little fuzzy but I had went over to her side to see if she's okay.. Fujimori told me to hide myself in the rubble.. I did as she said and a few moments later the demon had came out from the smoke." Maika said.
Mitsuri clicked her pen once more, Her cheery attitude before had dissolved into something more serious as the conversation took a darker tone. She wrote down a few more sentences, Dotting down what Maika said with careful importance.
"He had walked up to her, He.. He went on some long-winded rant I think.. Insulting him and.. And her haori, Yes.. He took interest in her haori." Maika said. The entire thing was fresh in her mind yet it felt so underdeveloped inside.
"And..?" Mitsuri prodded
"And then he went to take off her mask.. It.. I don't know how it happened but suddenly Fujimori-sama had became [F/N].. I.. It happened in a blink of an eye, But then.. Then the demons entire demeanour just.. Changed.." Maika said.
"How so?"
"The way he felt.. It was so intimidating before, It felt powerful and.. And absolutely terrifying but once he had lain his.. eyes.. On her face he just.. He reached out and cupped her cheek then he just.. Started crying." Maika explained.
As she spoke disbelief was flooding her voice like a broken dam, Mitsuri felt washed away by it too. What Maika said? It didn't make sense..
"He was silent then.. He screamed, It was so loud and guttural it.. It sounded so painful and animalistic then he just picked her up and held her in his arms. Suddenly Uppermoon six was summoned to him and then they just left.. With her in the arms of that demon." Maika mumbled.
Mitsuri at this point was stunned speechless, The scribbling on the notepad had stopped a good while ago in favour of processing this new information. A demon, One that seemed to have some authority over another Uppermoon.. What changed once he unmasked her?
A demon crying was near unheard of, Only in their last moments were they ever reported to show such emotion. Did the demon recognise [F/N]? But how? Mitsuri knew her better than anyone, If she had any contact with a demon she would of known.
But to be fair, Her failing to know was how she was in this situation in the first place. Mitsuri couldn't be sure.
"I'm sorry but.. After that I don't remember much, I.. I might of passed out but all I know now is that I'm here, Explaining what happened to you.." Maika murmured. While she knew she explained most of what she knew a part of her ruminating in her chest felt as if it wasn't enough, As if it wasn't helpful at all.
Mitsuri shook her head.
"No, No! Don't be sorry, You've been extremely helpful and I'm so glad that you're okay. I'm just gonna ask one or two more questions and then I'll be out of your hair, Thank you so much!" Mitsuri comforted.
Her hand snaked over to Maika's which lain limp by her bedside, Mitsuri's fingers wrapped around Maika's palm and held it with a tight yet comforting grasp.
"Right.. That's fine.." Maika smiled lightly, It was nice to get some reassurance after everything's events.
"Alright.. So the demon in question, Could you please explain to me what he looked like?" Mitsuri asked.
Maika squinted her eyes, Trying to get a good picture of the culprit in her mind. He was the kind of demon who could be mistaken for human on first glance but a few details stuck out immediately like a dandelion in an orchid field.
Maika rubbed her chin, Piecing the portrait together.
"Well.. He was tall, Erm.. Human looking, Spiky ponytail, Hakama and purple kimono.. Uhm.. Ah-" Maika shot up, Seemingly remembering something. "Right.. Right, How could I forget.. He had six eyes. I.." Maika trailed off suddenly lost in thought. Mitsuri flipped a page in her notepad and jotted down the description of the assailant.
Powerful, Definetly, Especially if he could take down [F/N]. Being able to defeat her spoke miles in strength.
"Six eyes?" Mitsuri asked.
"Yes.. Yes and- OH!" Maika exclaimed, Taking a loud gasp which instantly made her start to cough up from the sudden jerk of her body.
"What, What's wrong?" Mitsuri asked, Squeezing Maika's hand in a futile attempt to console her sudden outburst. Maika wheezed lightly, Fixing her breath and speaking with a hoarse voice.
"T-There was kanji in his eyes, He wasn't just any demon.. He was Uppermoon one." She rasped, The hand holding Mitsuri's squeezed tighter as he free hand moved up to her throat to check.
Mitsuri paused mid inhale. Her eyelids expanding at the final syllable as she stared down at Maika, Seemingly mulling over the information as it started to churn in her head.
She made no movement for only a moment, All before slowly nodding.
Uppermoon one. [F/N] was kidnapped by Uppermoon one.
It seemed ridiculous, It seemed like a pipe dream with smoke rising up in the air, Easily wafted away by the stroke of a hand. Mitsuri wanted it to be a result of mistake or blood loss, An accursed mirage caused by delirium.
But it added up. The demon was able to wage victory against [F/N], Uppermoon six seemed subservient to him and everything Maika had testified thus far made sense. Mitsuri didn't want it to be true.
But she took a deep breath, Held it for a moment before exhaling out. But she needed to accept the reality. According to Maika, Her best friend was kidnapped by Uppermoon one. For what reason she didn't know and dearly wanted to.
"Right, Okay.. I.. I see. Thank you so much for your help, I can't express how much I appreciate this, Heihachiro-chan!" Mitsuri warbled. Her same peppy smile rising back on her face as she got up from her chair. She placed the paper and pen into her obi, A makeshift pocket.
"I'll leave you to rest now, I truly hope you make a full recovery soon! Take care, Okay?" Mitsuri quickly bowed down in a polite gesture of gratitude, Hand slipping away from Maika's as they went down to her knees.
Maika nodded.
"Alright then.. Stay safe!" Maika called out to Mitsuri as she walked away, Already at the door The Love Hashira turned back and waved her farewells.
"Bye, Bye!" Was the last thing she said before stepping out the door and shutting it behind her, Leaving Mitsuri alone within the long winding hallways of the butterfly mansion.
As soon as the door shut with a resounding click! she was left only to hear the loud noise of the silence.
Mitsuri propped herself up against the door, Back hitting the maple and supporting her up like a harness. She breathed in and out, Trying her best to keep the rhythmic beat of her heart to a minimum.
But it was fruitless. Mitsuri's cheeks grew a shade of blossom, Her hands slapping the sides of her face as she squealed in euphoria.
She pushed herself up from the door. Mitsuri couldn't contain the sheer exhilaration pumping through her bloodstream as she spun around, A way to exert the happiness as her braids trailed behind her gliding movements.
[F/N] was alive. She was really alive.
Her attempt had failed. Mitsuri knew that it wasn't completely confirmed, The demon had taken her, What happened after was a mystery. But if he had taken her he must of wanted her alive for some reason, Right?
Mitsuri paused in her movements, The smile on her face near ear to ear as she tried to cool down the inferno of her blush.
"Mitsuri-chan!"
A voice called out from down the hallway, Snapping Mitsuri out of her ecstasy and guiding her head to the left.
Shinobu walked down the passageway, Head held high with a small smile and glossy eyes as they spied Mitsuri. She looked content, Yet Mitsuri could see the curious gleam under the morning light.
"Shinobu-chan!" Mitsuri greeted, Prancing lightly over towards Shinobu and stopping in front of the shorter woman with a swing in her step and her hips as she stood in front of Shinobu.
"Mitsuri, You're in a good mood." Shinobu commented, Cocking her head to the side.
Mitsuri hummed lightly.
"Really? Is it that obvious…? Oh who am I kidding, Of course it is!" Mitsuri exclaimed, Jumping up and down on the spot as she hummed. Shinobu smiled in return, The change in mood from yesterday was drastic.
It was good, She seemed to be back to her old self. Though there was a reply to that observation, Only one thought going through Shinobu's mind at the moment.
But at what cost?
"I suppose Heihachiro-san had some good news?" Shinobu queried to which Mitsuri quickly nodded.
"Yeah! Well.. As good as it can be I guess but the main thing is that [F/N] is alive! I feel so happy right now, I just can't contain it!" Mitsuri grinned, Swaying her hips side to side.
Shinobu clicked her tongue.
"Do you mind giving me the rundown?" She asked.
"Ah, Yes.. Hold on!" Mitsuri nodded quickly. Her hand instantly stuffed itself in the side of her obi and tried to fish out something stuffed inside it. Shinobu wondered to herself why on earth she was holding things in there before Mitsuri pulled out a little notepad and pen.
"Here you go!" Mitsuri announced, Holding out the notepad out to Shinobu to take with a grin. Shinobu took the item into her hands and started to flick through the pages.
Mitsuri watched on as Shinobu looked through her writing, Mumbling out the words as she read the scribbled writing. Shinobu raised a brow as she reached the end of the verse.
"Kidnapped? By Uppermoon one of all demons.." Shinobu gawked, Eyes fixed to the sentences as she read it over a second time.
"Great, Right?" Mitsuri responded with glee, A reply that felt unfitting for the news of her best friend being maimed and whisked away by one of the most elusive figures within the slayer's world.
Shinobu's brows lowered.
"Mitsuri-chan.. If what your reporting is true then you do understand the implications of her kidnapping, Correct?" Shinobu inquired. But by the looks of Mitsuri's slowly shrinking smile, Shinobu didn't even need the answer she gave.
"Of course I do, But don't you get it? [F/N] is alive, She's not dead! It's good news, Don't you see?" Mitsuri said, The gleeful spark in her voice seemed to dim only a little bit. It was still present yet it definetly faded.
Shinobu sighed.
"Yes, I do. But she was taken for a reason. What if she was taken for information, What if she was being tortured-"
Shinobu cut herself off, Pausing to find the right words to say.
"..What if she has been turned into a demon, What will you do then?" Shinobu asked lowly, Her voice only kept between them. The prospect of [F/N] being turned into a demon was a real possibility, If she was then the indications would not look good. Both for the two of them and the demon slayer corps themselves.
Mitsuri looked at Shinobu dead in the eyes, The malachite hues shone under the sun. Near burning with fire of the same calibre.
"Then I guess I'll just need to ask where Tanjiro-san got his box." Mitsuri replied so casually that it took Shinobu off guard, The corners of her lips quirking if only for a moment before turning back into that same porcelain smile.
"I see.." Was all Shinobu said as Mitsuri walked past her, Off to somewhere Shinobu didn't know. Mitsuri turned back to Shinobu, Giddy grin reappearing on her face.
However when Mitsuri's shoulder brushed past Shinobu's, She stopped in her tracks. Her face was unable to be seen by the shorter woman, Her eyes not looking back at Mitsuri's.
"I failed [F/N] once, Shinobu… I'm not going to fail her again, Never.. Never ever again." Mitsuri whispered.
That was all she said, Footsteps picking back up as she walked down the hallway.
"We'll talk soon, Have a good day Shinobu-chan!" She called out, Then turned the corner and walked away.
☆♡☆
The silence reverberating down the hallways was nigh-unbearable, A drone that stopped at a stand still and seemed to never continue on.
The sawdust scent burned at the tip of [F/N]'s nose, Her eyes wide and aware of the demon in front of her. His presence catching her off guard, Not expecting to see another soul wandering about the confines of her birdcage.
Upper three appeared to share the sentiment, His face mimicking her own expression perfectly if not for the demonic features prominent on his visage. Sharp fangs shining under the light, Cracked glass eyes that seemed to burn into her and sharp navy stripes wrapping around his entire body.
"You.. What are you doing here?"
His voice called out, Slightly echoed within the high walls of the corridor. It sounded fairly deep, A hint of a boyish tone under the serious and accusing hiss near spat out from his throat.
[F/N] stared him down. The sharp inhale she took stuck in her lungs as she looked over him, Judging his stature to his clothing all the way to the angles that made up his cruel face.
But.. She didn't feel scared.
Kokushibo felt like a firm hand of authority, A dark presence that just dripped in power. It was one that could make any person tremble in fear regardless of status, The sheer aura that radiated from his soul made [F/N]'s insides turn and want to puke.
But it was different with this one. He didn't command authority or did he have any overwhelming presence (At least, Not for someone like [F/N]). While it was powerful in its own right it instead felt more accusing than anything, And strangely enough it didn't feel threatening or dangerous.
It infact felt similar. The first impression of his looks and the read she got off of his aura reminded her a lot of certain boys from her childhood, One's which memories made Goosebumps raise up on her skin and her fingers itch in irritation.
And they were something she could handle.
"What am I doing here? What are you doing here?" [F/N] responded, Folding her arms and trying to keep up a tough demeanour in front of him to try and hold some ground. The annoyance in her voice a second-nature to the demon's behaviour.
She thought she was alone here, That it was just her and her captor but now as [F/N] glared at him she now knew that it wasn't the case.
The demon's nose scrunched up at her response, Offended at her audacity to ask her of such. His teeth started to bare a little more, Gums barely showing out from under his dry lips with his eyes narrowing to a sharp tipped glare.
"Do not question me, What are you doing here? Who are you? This place isn't meant for any kind of human being, How did you get in here?" He hissed, Taking a single slow step towards her, One that echoed out from the sheer weight.
[F/N] backed up foot in tandem with him, Keeping them both at equal distance. She pinched her temple, Groaned once before mumbling under her breath a string of curses.
"Okay.. Number one, I don't even want to be here. Number two, My name is [F/N] Fujimori" She started.
"Number three, I don't even know how I was brought here, I don't even know where 'here' is so if you could enlighten me then that would be great!" [F/N] replied, Mimicking the demon's hiss in a sarcastic mockery yet it held the dragging undertone of desperateness.
[F/N] didn't even know where she found the guts to speak to upperrank three like this, She figured it was probably the built up agitation from the past few.. Well, She had no idea how long it had been. She only knew the mix of anger, Hopelessness and melancholy fester inside her like an illness.
The demon gawked, Maybe it was at the new information provided to him or maybe it was the gall she had to speak to him that way. Either way however, He felt his own agitation start to match hers.
"You are in the Infinity Castle, The demons headquarters. How a weak human woman like you got in here without even wanting to is a joke." The demon responded through gritted teeth, Eyeing her up and down.
How some weak looking human woman got into the infinity castle baffled him. As soon as he turned around the corner and spotted her he felt a jolt of surprise shock his dead heart. What he would do he didn't know, This was a woman and as such physical violence is out of the picture.
"The.. The Infinity castle. The demons headquarters." [F/N] repeated back to him. "A joke, Does it look like I'm laughing?" She said, Leaning in a little bit to emphasise her mockery.
"This is not funny, How you got in here is a major security risk and a threat to you and us. So tell me now what the hell you did to get in here?" The demon snarled.
Even though his tone was venomous he hadn't made a move to attack or even touch her in any way, Just limited to threats and demanding tones. It was unusual behaviour for who she would assume would be upper three, But deemed it safe to continue.
"I have no idea how I got here! I was kidnapped!" [F/N] exclaimed, Throwing her hands up in the air as an overdramatic gesture.
"Kidnapped? By who?!" He interrogated.
"Oh! I don't know.. Uppermoon one, Perhaps?" [F/N] hissed, Taking a foot forward to get up in his face. [F/N] bit back her tongue, Wondering if she had went too far once his face fell. But she kept up her guard and her mask, Stand your ground.
"You were kidnapped by Uppermoon one?" He repeated, Mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water.
"Correct."
Upperrank three stood silent, The two of them were only separated by half a foot. His nose was still scrunched up in what looked to be a mixture of disgust and disbelief, One that she'd been wearing a lot herself recently.
He took a single step back, One that made the old floorboard creak within the quiet passage.
"Why would.." He mumbled lowly under his breath, More to himself then to her.
"It's complicated." [F/N] responded, Huffing lightly.
The demon looked back up at her. It seemed as if the shards in his eyes and the amber hue of his kanji stained irises were sizing her up, It was similar in the way how you would square up your opponent in a fight. Examining every muscle, Checking the chances of victory.
"So why aren't you killing me?" [F/N] asked. Even though his stare radiated that of an adversary, He made no move to fight. A behaviour [F/N] wouldn't assume of the upper rank three.
"What?" The question she asked seemed to make the demon break out of his train of thought.
"Why aren't you trying to kill me, Before you knew I was brought here. You're upper three right? So.." [F/N] trailed off in her sentence, Seeing that he had already gotten the meaning to her question.
The demon groaned.
"I don't kill or raise my hand against women, Even if I did I wouldn't waste it against a weak human being like you." He retorted, Folding his arms in a display of what only could be described by [F/N] as a faux show of morals.
[F/N] sighed, The one time her mask would be really useful. The one time when she would really need it. He wouldn't harm her as a woman, He wouldn't kill her as a woman. In other words that was off the table.
Why was it that every time she got that one chance it would be ruined by some bullshit reason? It seemed like every turn there would be some curveball thrown to stop her path. It was irritating to say the least.
"Ugh.. Whatever you say I guess. Have your principles or.. Something, I don't know. I'm just gonna go find somewhere else to wander about in.." [F/N] grumbled, Scratching the back of her neck and turning around to start trotting off to wherever "somewhere else" was.
The demon 'tched. He watched her drag her feet down the hall, Shoulders slumped and a grumpy far-away gaze. As she turned the corner he was left with an assortment of questions.
Kokushibo, Uppermoon one. Why would he kidnap her? Was it on the orders of his master? Maybe.. But if that was the case Akaza suspected that both him and Douma would of been informed of her bounty.
Was Kokushibo doing this on his own volition? Unlikely.. But not impossible. He was loyal to a fault to that man, Even to the point of fanatisism. But what if he was keeping her here by his own will?
Akaza didn't like it when women were harmed in any way, He had to ball up his fists when the other Uppermoons talked about their deeds towards them. It irked him, It gave him curiosities and questions.
Ones that built up on his tongue and were dying to spill out.
Akaza clenched his teeth and turned back towards the stairs.
It's better to keep his nose out of whatever's happening here, For now at the very least. This didn't involve him and if Kokushibo wanted her dead then he would of already done the deed.

The obsidian black shade of the nights sky loomed over the small village. Dotted with glittering specks like eyes looking down at the mortal plane.
It was quiet, The only sound was the light rustle of tree leaves in the cold midnight wind passing by. It swept over the low valley the silent town sat atop of, A chill running down the spine of whoever may come in its way.
Not that they would. The houses and the buildings, The restaurants and the streets were all completely empty.
Candles went unlit, Light usually emanating from behind the windows didn't show up tonight. Bowls full of fresh food sat on top of restaurant tables went untouched, Stuffed animals played with by children went abandoned.
There was no sign of life at all in this village, None except for one.
Slow footsteps clad in well-made leather shoes wandered the empty streets. The sound reverberated along the wooden panels of the houses the man passed. The moon sat high signalling midnight, The soft rays shining down on his form.
Muzan paused. The golden laced waistcoat and blouse he wore was in pristine form, Perfect to the very last fold in fabric. No stain or spot to be found once he stopped in his steps.
"Kokushibo."
His calm voice sung out into the silent night. He didn't even need to turn around to know that he was behind him, Kneeling down in respect and honour before him.
"Muzan-sama." Kokushibo replied. He was kneeling down, Head tilted towards the ground to bare his neck amongst his hair. Kokushibo made no move to get up from his position, The two parted by a good few metres.
Muzan turned around to face the Uppermoon. His scarlet eyes scanned over him, Veins visible in his irises as he stared. His face was hardened with a cold expression, Yet it seemed more relaxed compared to that of how he treated someone such as Akaza or especially Douma.
It was more trusting, If you could even call it that in the first place.
"I assume you know why you have been called today" Muzan questioned. Wine stained eyes waiting for his subordinate's answer.
Kokushibo was silent. His body still before his master, Crouched down he mulled over his reply. He infact did know, He had been expecting this for a good while. However how he would explain was still something he had no clue on how to phrase.
"Yes.. I believe this is about the Kakushi base.. That me and Uppermoon six got into a few weeks ago.." He answered. Head raising up from the ground slowly so his amber hues could meet the maroon of the progenitors.
Muzan hummed.
"Correct. I believe that you were able to destroy the main base of operations there" Muzan asked, Tilting his head to the side in question. Urging him to go on.
"I was able to destroy the entire base.. Yes." Kokushibo confirmed, Letting Muzan nod slightly at his response.
He walked a little closer to the Uppermoon, A single step echoing softly from within the confines of the silent village.
"And what exactly were you able to get out of it?" Muzan queried once more. The question of the century. Both Muzan and Kokushibo were on more levelled ground compared to the other Uppermoons, Even going as far as to calling Kokushibo his near equal, A business partner of sorts.
The keyword is 'near', However. Kokushibo was loyal to him like a dog, Fanatic and subservient by choice. Even though he had the decision of being a kind of contracted servant he had denied this in choice of full compliancy and order.
That's why it was so hard to explain what Kokushibo had done on instinct, For once in his long life he felt himself speechless in front of him. While Muzan could very well peer into the caverns of his mind and take a look for himself, Due to Kokushibo's high standing it was a sign of respect not to.
Either way, Kokushibo knew what he had to say.
"..While in the midst of destroying the base I came face to face with that slayer you had informed us about.. The one who slew one thousand." Kokushibo started, Slowly getting up from his kneel to stand on his two legs while he explained.
Muzan's thin lips morphed into a small frown at the remembrance of the slayer.
"And I assume you were able to take care of him?" Muzan asked. Kokushibo didn't respond for a second, Making his master's eyes narrow in suspicion.
"No.. This is where it gets more complicated.. And where I selfishly ask for you to lend your ear.." He trailed off for only a second, But the words that came before rose a narrow eyebrow on Muzan's face.
"Why? Did you not succeed in killing him? Of all the Uppermoons I did not expect you to fail against a slayer.." Muzan commented, A comment which he knew would strike Kokushibo right where it hurts and it showed in how he subtly clenched the hem of his haori.
Muzan, He always had a way to dig into the insecurities of the people around him both Human and demon. An off-handed comment or a simple look was enough for him to have his claws on whoever he targeted. And the pride festering in Kokushibo was absolutely no exception.
"..No, I was able to take the slayer down.. However.. Whilst I was about to kill him.." Kokushibo trailed off once more. An oddity of the Uppermoon, The usual calm and unbothered demeanour was absent and instead replaced with a hesitant drawl.
Muzan took a few strides forward towards the taller man, His steps reverberating against the derelict streets. Kokushibo didn't falter an inch once his master reached out a hand, Two bony fingers extended to press on the temples of the Uppermoon.
Kokushibo stood silent, Jaw locked as he felt a sudden surge of energy come from between his eyes. A searing shock, He could feel the sensation of prying eyes into his memories like claws combing through an archive.
It pulsated. Kokushibo felt as if his head was cracked open, Brain on display for Muzan to see as his fingers removed themselves from Kokushibo's temples.
Muzan took a step back, His action finished as he stared up at his subordinate with an unreadable expression to the normal eye but Kokushibo could see the irritation arising from him. He hummed, Eyebrows tightly knitted together.
"I.. I see.. So the slayer was.." Muzan trailed off. His nose twitched in agitation, The fact that the slayer hadn't died and infact turned out to be someone unexpected entirely was.. Irritating to say the least.
He didn't speak after that, So Kokushibo took the opportunity to do so.
"Respectfully.. Before you say anything more I ask of you to let me explain.." Kokushibo asked, Courteous in tone as always. Muzan looked at him, Crimson irises staring him down.
Muzan raised a hand to his chin, Clawed fingers covering his mouth in a display of thought.
"..Your sister? Ah.. Right, I remember now. The one you spoke about a few centuries ago, The one I provided you a vial of my blood for." Muzan commented, His cat-slit eyes widened slightly at the realisation.
Kokushibo nodded. The memory of that night coming back to him. The tiled rooftop at the dead of night, A night very similar to this one. Muzan had came to him with an offer, One Kokushibo just couldn't resist.
The night they stood eye to eye. The one where Muzan offered him a chance at eternal life, A chance to hone his skills and live past the dreaded age of twenty five. A way to surpass Yorichii.
Kokushibo remembered it well. Once Muzan had offered and set down the deal Kokushibo had bargained, He didn't mean to but it didn't mean he regretted it either. The words just slipped out of his mouth.
"What? Is this not enough for you? What more can I possibly offer you?"
"I ask that you provide more of your blood, Not for me. But for my sister dying of an incurable illness.. That's all I ask and then I will do whatever you ask.. Whatever you ask.."
Muzan had accepted rather easily and once the three days of transformation was up he had awoken with the vial gripped tightly in his hand. If only he had gotten back to [F/N] in time.
If only.
"Correct.. She is back with me.. I am currently keeping her in the shrine replica in the infinity castle.. I am sorry I did not ask for your permission, However due to her injuries I thought it was necessary.." Kokushibo apologised, Bowing his head down low to represent that. Muzan hummed once more.
"I am not concerned about where you are keeping the girl, I am concerned about how you were able to let an opportunity like this slip by you. The Kamado girl, Nezuko Kamado.. She was there, Was she not? Not to mention the boy with the hanafuda earrings.." Muzan replied.
The air around them seemed to grow sharper, A thick edge made of the oxygen they breathed. It turned cold, Colder than it already was. Kokushibo took a deep breath in, The boy with the hanafuda earrings, He didn't need to be reminded once more of him. How Yorichii's earrings were turned into a family heirlooms he had no idea, But he didn't want to remember right now. He'd figure out how to deal with the boy later.
But the Kamado girl, He had failed on that front. That was something he couldn't deny, He had failed to capture her in favour of saving his sister. But that didn't mean he had no more course of action.
Kokushibo raised his head, Looking at Muzan in the eyes.
"Yes.. I was unable to capture them.. Fortunately however.. Since I have brought my sister back home I have come to the belief that she is able to assist on that front.." Kokushibo started, His voice was low yet concentrated. A confident lilt.
"Since she is a Hashira.. A special kind at that.. I strongly believe she knows the whereabouts of the Ubuyashiki estate.. If I am able to get this information out of her we will most definetly be able to both take down the corps.. As well as capture the Kamado's." Kokushibo finished. Finality lifting his tone up as he stood his ground in front of Muzan.
Muzan paused. He didn't say a word.
His eyes narrowed, He appeared to be contemplating over Kokushibo's words. Mulling over his proposition, Thinking it over with utmost care. If Kokushibo was any lower in ranking or had any less respect, Muzan would of tore him to bits for his audacity to speak to him with such equality.
The silence around them was louder than any wail or scream that came after his arrival, Though it was broken once he, Muzan, Decided to speak.
"Alright then. If that is the case then I assume you'd be wanting to turn her into another demon then? You agree that it must be the best course of action, She wouldn't need to confess where it is when it can be done with a quick look into her mind, Yes?" Muzan inquired.
True, It would be incredibly easier to turn her into a demon and get the information that way. Not to mention that it would be more agreeable to Kokushibo, So much so that turning her into a demon was one of the first thoughts in his mind when he saw her again.
However..
"No.. Currently that is not an option.. With the injuries she sustained during her fight and the fact that she is a breath user.. I fear that she might die if I give her my blood right now.. Besides that.. Right now she isn't in the best of moods.. She's rather confused and in a sort of rebellious phase currently.." Kokushibo replied.
For a human to become a demon, Their blood must mix with that of Muzan's. The cells coursing throughout his bloodstream doing the job of processing them into such.
As such, Every demon has a concentration of Muzan's blood.
Especially the Uppermoons, The most powerful of the bunch. Normally Muzan would be the only demon capable of turning others, However due to the high concentration in the Upperranks blood they have gained the ability to turn others as well.
However, While the Uppermoons have a high concentration it is certainly not pure. If they were to inject their blood into a human being on a whim the person has the ability to actively fight it off similar to an illness.
It means that the transaction has to be consensual, The human has to willingly drink the blood and accept that along with the approval of Muzan himself to become one. Not to mention a breath user requires much more blood than normal due to their skills and talents.
Even if Kokushibo was to ask of pure blood from Muzan, The chance that [F/N] would be able to break free from his curse after transformation was a very real possibility. It's why Muzan occasionally asked for people to become demons instead of just outright doing it, Tamayo was a warning of what might happen.
If he attempted to turn [F/N] now, Her injuries and the amount of blood he needed to give might just kill her. Even if she survived and became a demon, Kokushibo guessed that there would be a very good chance that she would get away from Muzan's hold. And if someone like [F/N] was to break free of the curse, It would signal an issue at the very least.
It had to be consensual, Kokushibo knew that much.
"I see.. And you believe you are able to convince her of such?" Muzan asked. The proposal that Kokushibo had lain out seemed to finally click inside his head, Idea's and thoughts forming. Forgetting Kokushibo's failure entirely.
"In time, Yes.. Once she has calmed down and I have been able to resurface her memories.. I know she wouldn't mind becoming one, Then.. It is only a matter of 'doing' afterwards.." Kokushibo concluded. Muzan nodded slowly.
"Yes.. But I must ask how you believe you'll be able to 'bring back' her memories in the first place, Are you even sure she is your sister at all and not just some random human girl?" Muzan asked once more, The final question.
"There is no doubt about it.. She is my little sister. I have considered every possibility… Including the chance that she isn't who I thought.. However due to recent information coming to light my worries have disappeared.." Kokushibo said, Remembering their recent talk.
"My best theory on what happened.. Is that she has been reincarnated after a good few centuries.. How that is possible I do not know.." He finalized.
Reincarnation, Before it was something he believed was dubious at best. It was something he never considered a possibility nor had it ever been proved, Not until now. The proof was there, Hopefully waiting for his return back home.
Hopefully.
"Alright then.. I will leave you to do as such and I expect you not to fail me again. I wish you good luck in your endeavour" Muzan said, Turning away from him and beginning to stroll away.
"I appreciate it greatly, Thank you, Muzan-sama." Kokushibo bowed once more as he walked off. The cool air of the night and the now derelict village turned to nothing in his wake.
The moon stood high in the ebony black sky, Hues of faded purple and mists of scattered cloud looking down at the quiet landscape.
Kokushibo took it in, Staying there for a while. Watching as Muzan started to get further and further away until he went entirely. Disappearing on the horizon.
Kokushibo licked his lips once, The faint smell of copper and iron danced along his nose. An emptiness in his stomach, He felt hungry.
It wouldn't hurt to grab food before he got home to see [F/N] again. While it ate at him to stay away for too long, The thought of what might happen to her when he's not there bit down into him.
But he needed to tend to himself. Feed, Get stronger. Kokushibo knew that he had to find food.
Maybe he'd take her out next time, Maybe it would be nice to bring her outside and get some fresh air to calm her nerves.
Besides, She'd need to learn how to feed on human beings once she became a demon and he was more than willing to teach her, Hold her hand and guide her along on the right path, That's what a good big brother would do after all.
He'd get her to turn eventually, Becoming a demon is what's best for her. Once she calms down and regains her old memories he knew that she'd be more than willing to become a demon. Kokushibo knew that she trusted him more than anything, He knows she loves him.
He'd wear her down, While she was extraordinary in her own right she couldn't keep acting the way she has forever. [F/N] had nowhere else to go, No one but him to turn to. But then again, She'd need to feel more comfortable to regain them.
Kokushibo would figure that part out later.
With that final thought he disappeared into the night, His figure fading from view as he went to find his next meal.

[F/N] warily strode down the shrine hallway.
It had been a good while after her encounter with the Uppermoon. Sure enough he hadn't walked after her or tried to search her out afterwards, It was probably better that way. He wasn't going to kill her nor was he going to help her get out of here, So it's for the better if they just ignored each other.
At least, That's what [F/N] thought anyways. As she paused at the doorframe, Leaning her bodyweight into it she looked at the soft canary light pouring in from the other side of the corner.
[F/N] layed her head against the wood, Listening to the sounds of punching and hitting something unknown. It sounded fast, Furious and determined. It was a sound she often heard back when at the corps, Memories of training sessions coming back to her.
Days she'd stay up practicing her form, Days she'd spar with her comrades and all the mistakes they laughed over. It all felt so ready in her recall.
It felt sort of nostalgic. She had only been conscious for at least two days yet it felt so far away to her, Like the mountains on the far horizon at the shrine. It was a sort of comfort, A bittersweet taste on the tip of her tongue.
As the punching sounds continued she wondered how they were doing now. [F/N] knew she wasn't very well liked as a Hashira. Even though she was somehow considered the strongest among them, It was more of her attitude that put people off.
Colleagues like Sanemi and Iguro were especially unpleasant, Uncalled for comments and snide looks were always their go to. Every time [F/N] turned up late or showed a lack of respect they would be in abundance.
Even other's like Tengen or Rengoku had something to say at points. Others like Muichiro or Giyuu didn't pay much attention at all to her, Ignoring her entirely. Shinobu was one that she had shallow conversations with in passing, She was alright.
Mitsuri, [F/N] felt bad at her name being brought up again in her mind. Why Mitsuri still stayed with her for all these years was a mystery. Was it because she felt pity? Some long lost attachment or could it be because of their pact?
Either way she deserved better, Someone that didn't keep her tethered to the ground.
The memories swam around her, They hurt a lot. A sense of dread or guilt, [F/N] couldn't tell which it was but they held onto her like a hand, They hurt so much yet [F/N] didn't want to get rid of them at all.
As the punching sounds continued she listened on, Reliving the memories in her mind. She knew that the sounds most definetly came from the demon, She recognised his voice from the grunts and yells echoing a bit away.
She also knew she shouldn't of been drawn to them. She knew she shouldn't be taking a step towards them and she was very well aware that slowly walking in their direction wasn't a good idea.
But she continued anyways. Her cautious footsteps made slow creaks on the floorboards, Where she walked was unfamiliar. One of the rare places she didn't venture into on her previous scouting mission.
It was on the first floor, Dead centre. It must of been one of the modifications Kokushibo was talking about as she didn't recognise the architecture or the layout. She walked into the very wide open double doors, The light shining through the translucent paper windows and the cracks in the dark bamboo door.
Fresh air flooded her nose. [F/N] took a few more wary steps before the light hit her face, Making her raise a hand to cover her eyes.
Once her eyes adjusted, She looked upon the scene.
Tall winding wood, Branches twisting out from the bark and bursting into arrays of beautiful green leaves that shined chartreuse under the faux light. It was a tree, It was unlike any she had saw before.
It had the long turning branches of a Japanese pine yet stood as high as a Hyperion tree, Reaching up into dark sky above. The shrine surrounded it, The middle of the second floor and the roof gone to make way for it. [F/N] could spot glistening red apples hanging down from the dark oak, Shining and ripe. Ready to eat.
The sight amazed her. How a tree was able to get that big or how it was even here in the first place was astonishing, It was impossible yet it stood before her like a tower and looked down on her like a god.
[F/N] pried her eyes away from it, Looking around at where the tree surrounded.
It was wide open and [F/N] could tell it was the courtyard, Smoothed over dirt flooring with clumps of unmown grass standing before her. The walls of the shrine acted like the fortress surrounding the shrine, Boxing it up. The jacktop walling there, This must of been where the light was coming from..
PUNCH!
[F/N] snapped her head over. With the sight of the tree and the new area around her she was completely phased out to the fighting sounds, The reason she was here in the first place.
Upperrank three was in the far corner of the courtyard, He was dead-eyed staring at what looked to be a makeshift dummy. He was beating the living daylights out of it with a fire and passion [F/N] could see from a mile away.
It was very beaten so when it flew back from his punch and hit the wall of the shrine, Parts of stuffing came loose from within the seams of it.
[F/N] watched as he stood over the dummy, Worked up fighting stance as he looked down at it like a defeated opponent. She was somewhat impressed by his determination and energy, It showed through the beads of sweat rolling down his body and his heavy breathing.
She folded her arms over her chest, The warmth of the courtyard keeping her snug as the demon picked up the destroyed dummy and set it back in place. [F/N] frowned a bit, He really did remind her of the kids she grew up with.
"Hey." [F/N] called out. A quiet mumble as she watched him jerk his head around, Obviously unexpecting the sudden presence interrupting his training session. His eyes lowered on her.
"What do you want?" He interrogated, Shoulders raised high and on guard. A frown etched deeply into his cracked lips and deathly pale skin.
[F/N] sighed. She didn't really know why she decided to come so close in the first place, It was of course due to the nostalgic noise but it wasn't exactly something that was easy to explain to a demon like him.
She kicked a small rock with her foot, Toying around with it.
"Dunno.. I don't exactly have anything to do so I guess I just wanted to come see what you were doing.." [F/N] trailed off, Looking nonchalant as she slowly paced around the small exterior.
The demon groaned, Irritated by her presence. Even though he didn't harm women it didn't mean he'd treat her with respect either. That was fine, [F/N] was fine with returning the favour.
"Do whatever you want, I don't care." He said. Turning his bare back to her and refocusing back onto the dummy, Continuing his strikes onto the patchwork of the fake figure.
He didn't pay any more attention to her, Completely forgotten as he proceeded with his training.
[F/N] stood there awkwardly, The rock she had toyed with under her foot stood still. Why she decided to come in the first place without a plan or reason, It was stupid and she chided herself for it in her head.
Clicking her tongue once she slowly made her way over to the base of the tree. The small grassy hill it was perched on holding it up as [F/N] sat down within the vegetation, Nestling herself within the exposed roots comfortably.
She dragged her knees up to her chest, Sat within the shade of the leaves she watched the demon continue with his training. It was cosy within the leaves, The cool heat like a blanket on a winter's night.
Of all the places in the mockery of her shrine this was the one that felt the most authentic, Even though it wasn't even in the original it still held that sought after amenity that none other could replicate. It was nice, It was a distraction. It wasn't cold or uncomfortable, It was just fine.
"So.. What's your name..?" [F/N] asked. She didn't even mean to let the words slip by her lips, They came out on their own. She didn't mind though, Just curled up tighter and rested her head onto her knees.
The demon didn't even flinch, Nor did he turn around.
"Akaza." Was all 'Akaza' said.
[F/N] hummed, A bit disappointed on his answer. She wondered why but supposed that being kept up in here with only Kokushibo made her hungry for other forms of social connection, And his one word answer wasn't satiating at all.
"Why are you here anyways?" [F/N] asked.
"..I come here to train, I like this place because it's quiet and has no one around to bother me with meaningless questions." Akaza jabbed, His eyes focused on the task in front of him, The one that made his soul radiate with determination and fire. Burning bright.
Ignoring the insult. A neuron clicked within [F/N]'s mind. Fire, That's it. This is the one that killed Rengoku, The one the crow had called about on that fateful morning. A hole in his stomach and the Mugen train incident.
[F/N] remembered how she got it, The crow had landed on her shoulder during a ceremonial dance. It had to be paused just so [F/N] could go check up on Mitsuri, She didn't have a personal connection to Rengoku but Mitsuri did. Him being her previous master after all.
The crow had told of their bargain, How he wanted Rengoku to become a demon, To train with him forever. Rengoku, Being an upstanding and moral man had fiercely denied leading to his death.
[F/N] felt a twinge of disgust pang in her heart, One of her colleagues and this was the man who slaughtered him. While they weren't close it still was still a tragedy to kill such a decent person, He was strong and had a good heart. And it was punched out by this demon.
"So, Akaza.. Why are you training on a dummy so much? Don't you have any other Hashira to punch a hole through?" [F/N] queried. A poorly disguised jab at him, A snide yet knowing look on her face as she watched him side-eye her.
"..How do you know about that?" Akaza asked, Throwing one more powerful punch to the dummy making it topple over onto the floor.
[F/N] shrugged.
"What, How do I know about you killing off Kyojuro a few months ago? Do I really look that weak?" [F/N] asked. Yes, That was the correct answer and the one she said in her head. She had none of her support beams like the mask and sword that made her strong, But she needed to keep up her tough exterior.
If you let it down, You will be killed. An old voice echoing in her head, One she agreed with.
Akaza breathed air out of his nose.
"Of course you do, I don't know why you were kidnapped but you're definetly not happy about it. But you're not trying to escape nor do you look like your planning on trying to.. So yes, I think you're weak." Akaza replied casually, Turning around to meet her eyes.
[F/N] exhaled, Her brows furrowed in annoyance.
"Well, I tried running but it just brought me back here! I'm.. I'm still trying real hard to get out but I'm still figuring out how." [F/N] retorted, Staring right back at him with the same energy trying to match it.
"You might be a member of the corps, However you know it doesn't matter. I can see a weak person from miles away, I feel it in my skin.. They absolutely disgust me. Sounds to me you just tried running once and then gave up, If that's not pathetic then I don't know what is." Akaza argued.
[F/N] blinked. His words cut through her like a chilling blade and left frostbite in its wake, It hit hard and made her jaw drop agape. The gall he had to call her pathetic, The gall he had to point it out. It irked her to say the least.
She put each of her hands beside her, Hauling herself up from her comfortable position she stumbled before standing on two feet. [F/N] stared him down, Huffed lightly from her perch.
"Well then, If you're so horribly disgusted by my presence then how about you just get me out of here? You don't want me here and neither do I, So you get me out of this godforsaken place and I'll be out of your hair." [F/N] argued, Exasperated and tired as she stood strong in place.
Akaza shook his head.
"No, Absolutely not. I don't know why you're here but if you were taken by Kokushibo then there must be a good reason for it, I'm not getting involved." Akaza said, Speaking his name with such acidity that she thought wisteria was in the air.
[F/N] groaned loudly, She turned around and grabbed the back of her neck with both hands. Staring up within the foliage as if communicating with the kami. She started to feel irritated, Annoyed and very angry.
"There is no reason.. There is absolutely no good reason.." [F/N] mumbled, Moving a hand round to pinch her temples tight.
"What?" Akaza asked, Not being able to hear her.
"He's keeping me here because he thinks I'm his fucking sister!" [F/N] exclaimed, Sharply turning back to Akaza and taking a few steps towards him, Indignant and irate as she stood before him.
Akaza froze, His expression going blank as he processed the information given. [F/N] sighed. The anger she had before exiting her body as she flipped round and paced a few steps away from him, Trying to let it all go.
"You.. He thinks you're what?" Akaza asked, Bafflement in every word he spoke.
"He thinks I'm his sister.." [F/N] sighed, Resting her head in her palms. Akaza stood still watching the girl a few feet away from him. She was breathing heavily. Stressed, He could tell.
"..Are you?" Akaza asked once more, Words coming from his confusion and stammer.
[F/N] sighed, Stilling in pace.
"I don't know.. I really don't know.." She mumbled. The conversation her and Kokushibo had a good while ago, It resurfaced again. The nightmare that matched up to his story, What were the chances? They were so low, Nigh if not impossible.
Everything felt so alien, So strange and weird. Her emotions were in pieces and her thoughts even more so. Was she his sister? At first there was no way, Definite deniability. But now after their communication she had no clue, None at all.
[F/N] gagged lightly, Moving her arms down to her abdomen.
Akaza looked at her, Going over every muscle and fold in the sleepwear she wore. Her hair was a mess, She seemed like she hadn't showered in ages.
What was up with her?
First this girl knew about his encounter with Rengoku, Something only corps members and his family should of known about and she did not resemble Rengoku at all. His best guess is that she is a corps member, She had no fear when he approached her and strangely enough had no fighting spirit what-so-ever. An anomaly, Something not achieved by many.
But how? She didn't look like a slayer at all, Could it just be her nature? He couldn't tell.
Secondly she claimed that she was Uppermoon one's sister and that was impossible. Kokushibo was one of the founding members from over five hundred years ago, It was improbable but.. No.. She wasn't claiming to be as such, According to her it was Kokushibo who was claiming blood relation.
That was unlike him. Kokushibo, As much as Akaza loathed him with every inch of his being couldn't deny he was of respectable standing. He was calm and thought his actions out, He was smart and most certainly of sound mind.
"So why would he.." Akaza thought out loud, Half to himself and the other to the girl a bit away from him. He waited for an answer but only watched as she keeled over, Grasping her abdomen and starting to cough violently.
Akaza's eyes widened and his body moved before his mind did, Instantly running over to her side to examine any damage.
"Hey, Hey- What the hell happened?" Akaza shouted rather agressively, Hand grabbing her shoulder and adjusting her so he could see what she was grasping tightly.
Around her mid-section was a very bloody dressing, It seemed like it hadn't been changed and whatever injury she had sustained down there had possibly came open. Maybe it was from the sudden turn she made to face him or maybe it came undone on its own.
It didn't matter, She was.. Sick.. Akaza's instincts kicked up. It was one he wasn't sure he had anymore nor was it one he knew he had in the first place but before he could think he had hoisted a single arm under her armpit, He positioned her hand to wrap around his shoulder, Supporting her entire weight.
"Fuck- Damnit.." He cursed as [F/N] groaned in pain. He started to move, One foot in front of the other as they made their way out of the courtyard, The warm light fading behind them as they got into the cold passageway of the shrine.
"Do you have anywhere you sleep?" Akaza asked, Continuing to walk along. [F/N] looked up at him, Pain erupting inside her abdomen as she spoke.
"I- Ugh..- Upstairs.. My bedroom is upstairs.." She wheezed, Another group of coughs coming up from her throat as Akaza nodded. He mumbled a confirmation under his breath and started to direct her along to the stairway.
They got to the foot of the old rickety wood steps. Akaza made no more move to speak as he silently guided her feet along, One step at a time as they slowly made their way to the second floor.
Once they got to the top, [F/N] weakly guided him towards the select room with a feeble point. As they walked [F/N] wondered why he was helping her, Why his attitude changed up so quickly once she started bleeding.
Akaza pushed open the shoji door, It slid open with ease thanks to his immense physical strength. They walked inside, [F/N] limping along with him as he laid her down on the futon. Surprisingly with a careful touch.
Akaza hissed another round of curses under his breath.
"Alright.. Don't move, I'm gonna check your injury." He spoke quickly yet he didn't make any move until [F/N] feverishly nodded, In too much agony to disagree.
Akaza moved his pale hands down to her jinbei. Before it was oversized enough to shield the dressing entirely, Making it completely unable to be seen before.
He moved it up lightly, Showing off the ruby splotched bandages wrapped around her entire mid-section. Akaza worked quickly, Slowly peeling the dressing down to get a good look at her injury.
[F/N] wailed in pain, Akaza's spare hand moved down to her shoulder to keep her in place as the injury was finally showed off to him. He gawked, It was massive. A large cut from assumedly a sword was on display.
It was stitched up to the nines. It had been sterilized yet the thing that disturbed Akaza the most was how deep it seemed to go. This injury went more than muscle deep, This went right down into her organs.
This was a fatal blow. No human being would be able to survive this, Hashira or not. Especially since something of this magnitude would be unable to heal, The muscle and skin destroyed and showing off her innards.
It was impossible to heal yet the majority of it looked good as new, There wasn't even any scarring, Not a single mark to be found. The only remainder of it being the outline of the stitches plotting out where the injury would've been.
While it still was mostly healed over, A small part of it still seemed to be in recovery. The stitches there luckily weren't open, The pain must've come from the unsettled position that it was in.
"Ugh.." [F/N] groaned as Akaza moved away. He got up from his crouched position and went over to the dresser, Near impossible to see except from his illuminated aquamarine outline from within the dark.
Akaza grabbed a fresh roll of bandages conveniently sat on top of the dresser, Walking back over to the crippled girl lying on the futon he grabbed on to the bloody bandages. Unwrapping them slowly, [F/N] moaned in agony.
"It's fine.. It's fine.." Akaza hissed lightly under his breath as he finally got off the dressing, Cloth drenched in crimson sat in his hands. He tossed it aside into a far corner of the room, He'll deal with it later.
Unrolling the bandages he moved a hand under her to the dip in her back, [F/N] complied as he raised her up and started to wrap a fresh dressing around her abdomen. She huffed lightly, He was being so careful. It was strange.
He rolled a few more layers around her before tearing it off, Tying it neatly it settled in place. Akaza removed his hand, [F/N] lowering back onto the mattress with a groan she lain splayed out. Panting and breathing hard.
Akaza raised up, Looking down at the exhausted girl with an unreadable expression. Why he did what he did he had no idea, It was some inner response that held more authority than his own common sense.
He felt a chill run down his spine like cold water, He shivered, Shaking it off. This was bad, He should of stayed out of this. He shouldn't of kept interacting with her in the first place.
Akaza groaned under his breath and turned away from her, The bandage was already settled and done, All that was left was for her to get some rest. He needed to leave, He'll go out and find someone real to train with.
The floorboards ached under his heavy footsteps. He got to the frame of the shoji door before he heard her meek voice call out to him for a final time.
"R-Real motherly behaviour for a demon there.. Seemed like you're use to taking care of people" [F/N] mused exhaustedly, One final jab at him before he left.
It made him tense up, He had no idea why. Shoulders were raised and his muscles flexed.
"Whatever. Don't speak a word of me being here to anyone." Akaza commanded, But it was too late. When he turned back she had already fainted on the futon. Her body grown limp and her eyes fluttered shut.
Akaza 'tched. Grabbing the door he slid it shut, Leaving her in darkness.
He sighed. What occurred played out like a reel tape in his mind. She and Kokushibo, Related? Improbable. Yet..
He shook his head. It's none of your business. Just walk away, This doesn't involve you.
And he hoped it stayed that way. It was his last thought as he took off.
Disappearing in a blink of the eye.
