When the world was yet young, the people were ruled by strife, not love; greed, not ambition; and they fell at each other’s throats for some semblance of control. The gods descended to establish order — Animaeus of the elements, the supreme; Terreia of life and glory, in the East; Literas of wisdom, in the West; Amorem of love, in the South; and Solarim of death and justice, in the North. Along with them came Nildae of war and victory.

For many years, the kingdoms developed in isolation, knowing little of the world beyond their borders that wasn’t the stuff of myths and legends. It was then that the gods decreed the Games be held monthly, at the arena of the victory goddess in the Central kingdom, to bring together the distant peoples of the world. In honour of Nildae, therefore, let the fifth Games begin.
