Y'know, i love crossovers a lot. But since Fujita Toshiko passed away I can't keep hoping for more of those in official form -- at least not in animation form.
Why? Because... I don't want to see anyone else voicing the original kid Taichi, i loved her voice acting in 02 a lot (yes, i keep thinking the best OG timeline Taichi is 02 Taichi) to the point i feel it would be a big task to whoever comes to voice kid Taichi in her place.
"the reboot Taichi VA could do it!!" Yes, I know, and i'd cheer for Sanpei Yuuko, i loved her role in this new rendition of Taichi, but i don't want them to dump the original Taichi on her and have the fanbase disliking it. (yes, i'm overthinking here, it just i've seen people disliking the reboot that i don't know if they wouldn't hate on this as well)
Considering some peeps have a big massive beef with ▽ to the point they just loathe Kizuna (and possibly 02TB in the future), i don't think it would be a good idea to call Hanae again for a crossover if they use YA Taichi instead, y'know? So it would be a bad idea as well...
Anyway, what i'm saying here is... My wish to see a cool crossover again with full voice acting in animation is over. I'll be thankful for XW's crossover scenes and treasure it.
I'll be satisfied with any other format wo voice acting, or just fanmade art/fanfiction though.

If I recall, or it’s a different one, in that SCP the Foundation is trying to keep it on a timeline when in the 2600s humanity gets bodied by an asteroid aka dinosaur style. And that’s the BEST OPTION as it keeps humanity surviving the longest. All the other options either have humanity wiped out much sooner or in more horrific ways.

//Yeah, most futures observed by 2003 are not ideal. They call it the "preferred option" because it's the best one they've seen so far. To give you an idea, here's all the scenarios they've shared:
XN: Things continue as normal until a 22-km asteroid hits Earth in January 2349, killing most of the population and rendering Earth uninhabitable.
The less ideal options:
XB: Earth is hit by a gamma ray burst on April 23, 2017, wiping out all known life in 2 minutes and 38 seconds.
XE: The birth of a kid in Turkmenistan and New Zealand's election of a new prime minister both happening on the same day in 2049 leads to a series of events culminating in a brutal nuclear war between Israel and Greater Indonesia in 2058. All efforts to interfere with the two result in the war happening sooner.
XJ: A time displaced version of Dr. Misako Koizumi, one of the Foundation's temporal researchers, appears on April 1, 2011, and tries to stop his own death due to an SCP, but since that SCP is not active at the time, but his requests can't be met. This results in a looping paradox that causes the collapse of spacetime as we know it.
XH: World governments come together after a flu pandemic kills 1.4 billion. In the 2040s and 2050s, longstanding ethnic conflicts are resolved, famine and poverty are significantly reduced, and sea level rise is mitigated. All goes well until July 29, 2059, when all human and animal life on Earth spontaneously vanishes without a trace.
XT: A global totalitarian regime is established, who begins hunting down "subversives," particularly Foundation agents.
XU: Against all known laws of physics, the sun collapses into a black hole on February 17, 2026, causing the solar system to freeze over. Despite this, humans somehow remain fully conscious.
XO: Anomalous phenomena increase in frequency starting in 2037, the Foundation loses control in 2039, and a combination of this chaos and world governments weaponizing them results in the annihilation of humanity by 2048. The only survivors are a group at Site-104, contact with whom is lost shortly afterward.
XR: A population of some sort of human species called Homo Ignotus explodes in population, from ~500 to 8 million, overnight in 2015. War erupts between them and the Foundation shortly afterward, although the results are classified.
XW: Unknown entities begin appearing worldwide on August 13, 2019, and begin offering major advances in medical science, energy production, crop cultivation, and the arts. These are accepted and, by the end of 2022, they begin asking people to participate in a hive mind experiment. 134,000 volunteers are merged into a single entity...who is imprisoned as the entities begin exterminating everyone else.
XX: A pathogenic protist begins infecting people, causing a Toxoplasmosis-like disease that makes them obsessed with caring for the Brazilian Wandering Spider. By 2028, 85% of the world is infected, uninfected people are used as food for the spiders, and so many resources are devoted to spider farms that it leads to mass crop failure, killing 6 billion.
//Yeah, I can see why they went with XN. At least we have three centuries before then, and we've already started experiments with asteroid deflection technology in the modern day. Preferable to most of these, who don't even let us survive past 2060 : P

Ok so, someone asked on an artist’s art if Daisuke counts as tamer and i decided to gently answer that.
I think this should be common sense but if there’s people confused regarding the term “Tamer” and if it applies to characters with titles like “Chosen Child/Digidestined” (Adv-02-Frontier-Appmon), “General” (XW) or “Hunter” (XW-YH) ... Well, my answer is...
YES. it does.
The term comes from Bandai’s Digimon lore (AKA “Null lore” or “Bandai lore”) which is the term to refer to a human with a digimon. Y’know, like how Pokemon (franchise) has the “Trainer” term to refer to people with a pokemon.
So, no matter what the anime/manga/game series use to refer to their main cast of humans, they’re all under the “Tamer” description.
Also, the term “Tamer” had been used in 02 as well -- in Daisuke & V-mon’s duet “2-TOP” in which its chorus is:
We’re the invincible 2-top, you know
So leave it to us
We get in fights, but we’ll still get it done
We’re tomorrow’s 2-top, you know
Let’s scatter them all ’round
We’ll be the ones to show you
The power of a Digital Tamer

In which Daisuke refers to himself by “Digital Tamer”, which is something odd to those who are too used to Adv/02′s Chosen Child term being used from time-to-time through the Adv franchise.
But yes, other material also refer to him (and others) by “Tamer” in certain All-Series (or All-Media) material -- Such like the newest TCG “Digimon Card Game” (DigiCa), in which the cards for any human character within the franchise are labeled as “Tamer Cards”. Yes, this also includes Adv’99/reboot, Frontier and XW characters as well. Or like the previous card game, which had a category called “Tamer”.
HOWEVER, in another material, the late “Super Digica Taisen” card game, had another term along the lines of XW mechanics and terms -- General. (Note: this term also applies to Taichi, Yamato, Sora, 02 Hikari, Takato, Takuya, Masaru, Tohma and Yoshino -- characters featured in it alongside Daisuke and the XW characters Taiki, Kiriha, Nene and Yuu)
I hope this helps to clarify why it’s safe to claim Daisuke is a Tamer (or any other character from a series who does not use this term) .
(Or General if you like XW that much like me hehe~~)
