[College dormitory life (18+)]
AllCheng | Mo Dao Zu Shi Modern AU 08-06-2021
[#allcheng, college/university dorms] (NSFW)
let's imagine that (somehow) everyone goes to the same school and they all live in the same dorms.
jc is very pretty and everyone wants a piece of him and he doesn't mind giving~
-Wei Wuxian-
they managed to be roommates, as jc was much more comfortable with someone he knew than someone he wasn't familiar with. And familiar with they were.
They actually already had a little /something/ going on already, where they were fooling around a lot behind yzy and jfm backs, hiding from everyone else. They were each other first in many things, usually experimenting with each other.
now having a whole room for themselves only gave them more opportunities to fuck like they want, without needing to make sure no one is around. They can be a bit louder than before, but jc is scared to be caught by others so he tries to keep it down.
-Nie Huaisang-
nhs is actually the first one in the bunch to approach him first. they were already friends from high school so jc was already somewhat at ease with him. Plus nhs may or may not have a slight crush on jc because he is his type, but it's not a serious crush.
they both agreed that it was alright if it never leads to a serious relationship, they are playing around and nhs finds it just fine.
It gives jc the chance to switch a bit. Not that sex with wwx is bad, but he likes to top from time to time and nhs seems more than happy to bottom for him.
they usually try to do it when their roommate isn't there (tho wwx very much knows about it, they don't hide much from each other). If the moment needs it, they will take a hotel room when the horniness is too much to wait for an opening.
-Lan Xichen-
He is the first one of the seniors to approach him. it took a lot of flirting with jc (and seeing jc shyly respond with some flirting too). They usually meet in the library where jc likes to study (it's quieter and wwx doesn't go there much, hence more quietness).
lxc doesn't have the advantage of first really knowing jc, so he takes him on dates to make the other one more comfortable around him. clearly, they like each other and soon jc wonders how it would be to be manhandled by those strong hands (he has felt them on his waist, they are big, warm and very likely strong too).
the first shy jc is the one to kiss him first, trapping him against a shelf of the library, in a deserted corner. lxc took the given opportunity and they kissed a lot that time. they had to finish up with a handjob in the corner.
afterwards, they very much went farther, jc was more than happy to have strong hands on him like that. much like nhs, they try doing it when they have the time and the room are free (tho when lxc is horny, he is more likely to just rent a room for them, which is often).
-Nie Mingjue-
nmj knew about his brother's relationship with jc (of course nhs couldn't escape his brother making sure he got a good bf). They started somewhat hanging out when jc and lxc started being a bit more touchy together (but still not there yet).
They notice they were going to the same gym in the morning before classes and nmj ended up suggesting a drive to jc (he was pretty excited to be on a motorbike) they got closer by training together (nmj is pretty good at helping him work out correctly). The first time they fucked because of the sexual tension just being too much (and jc learning to be a tease) was in the gym shower room when no one was there.
they did it more than once afterwards in the locker room (jc found the trill of someone maybe finding out rather exciting) and when lxc wasn't in their room (it was a fun time when lxc stumbled on them that one time😏).
-Jin Zixuan-
(sorry jyl 😔)
jzx and jc never really planned that anything would happen, they love jyl too much to really do that to her.
but jc did find jxc attractive (but never said it to anyone) and jzx did like jc a bit despite never showing it.
(cw: sex while drunk)
they ended up sleeping together one time when everyone was drunk and people somehow managed to convince jc to crossdress for them. wwx kept saying jc could look more like jyl with makeup and a wig. later they started arguing about some stupid shit jzx did and the next thing they know they were in jzx room and getting at it pretty heavily.
the next morning was very awkward and they were unsure how to tell jyl about it. After all, they couldn't /not/ tell her, they didn't have it in them to not tell.
Sure thing, it was a really awkward meeting when they did so two days later, both young men looking ready to die for the stupid shit they did (as much of an angel as jyl can be, it was a rough couple of months before she got over it fully. they are both people she loves and trust, she never expected them to do that)
not the best experience for jc (even tho the sex was good)
-Lan Wangji-
lwj wanted to know what was so good about jx, since wwx would never shut up about him. Sure, they've known each other in school (just like with nhs), but he really doesn't get it. Isn't jc just a grumpy guy who does nothing but study?
what is his surprise when he learns from his /brother/ that jc isn't as innocent as he seems to be (or as wwx seems to like to claim). But he still doesn't understand why wwx would prefer him over lwj. so he pursues him only to see it for himself. of course, jc doesn't necessarily enjoy the more aggressive way lwj comes at him (isn't he supposed to be a quiet person!! isn't he more like his brother!?).
but he would lie if he said he wasn't curious to see how lwj would perform compared to his brother. Is he as strong? Would he be more gentle or as merciless as lxc can be sometimes?
So they end up hooking up at some point for some vaguely angry sex because of course they too had an argument before that leading to sexual tension.
lwj is surprised at how nice it actually was and he can admit wwx might not be wrong. in a way, lwj still wants to steal wwx hearts, but when jc comes up to him for more he will never say no to him. Maybe he doesn't hate the young man as much as he might do (and jc doesn't seem to hate him like he thought jc did).
-Xue Yang-
jc is seriously unsure sometimes if xy is really a student or not. He never sees him in classes or anything study related but you bet he will see him at parties getting drunk and high, flirting with anyone that catches his eyes.
of course, he becomes one of those targets and xy seems to have quite some fun flirting with him and not discreetly at all.
One night jc is horny so he simply gives in. After all, if xy is so eager to have him why not?
what was supposed to be one-night stand ended up becoming a more regular thing. Jc also learns he might not be as vanilla as he was (well, he /does/ enjoy semi-public sex soo).
-Wen Ning-
wn is one of the rare shy friends wwx has. He's pretty quiet and can be a bit of a doormat sometimes. jc never spoke much with him until once at a party they ended up both outside for a breath (his head was killing him and he needed fresh air).
He ended up disappearing for the rest of the night, leaving the loud party for a 24h coffee shop where he ended up talking with wn and learning about him.
they ended up having more of these little moments where they just sit down and talk for a long time, having more points in common than they thought they might have.
wn ends up developing a crush on him (but doesn't make a move because he's sure jc is either dating wwx or nhs). of course, wwx (the little traitor!) ends up telling jc because he wants his friend to get it too.
jc is a bit surprised that the shy wn has a crush on him, but he doesn't mind, wn is good-looking and also looks strong too.
jc decide to give it a chance, rather amused at how flustered wn gets when he decides to really put his heart into flirting.
at some point wn finally gets it, jc /is/ flirting with him, so he tentatively kisses him one time, nearly running away when jc doesn't respond out of being stunned (a little shy /wen ning/ kissed him first?! damn).
Thing escalates from there because you can be sure jc will get it if wn finally gives in. It's a bit new, since jc has now gotten used to other rough or kinky sex. wn is so gentle with him, as if scared to hurt him. He doesn't hate it, it's nice to have someone caring like this.
although, when they switch, wn does seem to enjoy having it a bit rougher than what he gives (it take a couple of time for wn to finally get assured enough that he won't hurt him if he goes a bit rougher).
Now jc can chuckle and smirk anytime people comment on how wn must be an innocent child who never did anything.
-Wen Chao-
Wc hears rumours about jc and he tries to pursue him because "Ah! of course the great me can get into his pants too".
Yet, his way of doing is even more aggressive than lwj to the point where nmj and lxc end up asking him to fuck off (although lxc is more polite about it in his terrifying way to always be calm, nmj still looks like a bigger treat).
So he gives up (which his brother doesn't stop mocking for a while after all his claiming of it being so easy). He does throw a tantrum when he learns wn got jc ("fucking /Wen Ning/? are we talking about the same cousin here? quiet and shy /Wen Ning/ got jc? how?!?!") so he resumes his tries, but this time he tries to be more gentle and much less aggressive than (which make him allow on thin ice by everyone else protecting jc's ass).
jc eventually allows him after wc got angry again when he refused him. "Oh, so you think you are better than everyone else? I suppose I can judge on that, tho if you fail my expectation you ain't getting more" (which is a slap in the face, because /wn/ checks out?).
So wc makes sure to show all he has. jc has to admit, he isn't bad, but he isn't the greatest either when wx only search for his own pleasure and doesn't really care for jc's one. "You're boring," jc says as he clicks his tongue when wx comes once and he didn't (he can see in wc face that he did not like that comment) "Let me show you".
Cue power bottom jc showing wc how to actually pleasure him. "Come back when you actually learned to make your partner feel good and not just you," he says when they are done, going back to his room.
wc put his heart into actually learning because he cannot let his pride be this hurt by the fact that he sucks and his cousin does well.
-Jin Guangyao-
jgy approached jc when he learned from both his friend that they sleep with jc (but he doesn't know everyone basically knows and everyone is fine with sharing), but also that he caused trouble between jzx and jyl.
he just wants to investigate and make sure his best friends are not sleeping with someone who's just taking advantage of them.
His tentative to scare jc by subtle showing he knows he's sleeping around with basically the whole dormitory at this point doesn't work, as jc just brushes it off ("Sure, tell them").
this is an open secret, but no one mention really knowing about it so jgy thinks everyone is being tricked. he wants to make sure his friend won't be hurt, but he cannot find actual proof because even xy won't help him on this one ("I don't think your er-ge cares").
So he decides that his latest option is sleeping with jc himself! He can sacrifice himself to help his friends.
but it's actually pretty good? better than with any ex he ever had, and jc sure knows what he does when they switch up. he feels somewhat down now that he betrayed his friend and wants/more/.
"You really don't need to worry," jc tells him as they lay next to each other al sweaty, "Everyone knows, but it was fun seeing you trying to expose me".
jgy seems still a bit unsure, but jc basically straight up call his gege and they pretty much confirm on the phone that yeah, they know and are alright with it. cue the three of them having fun together with jc to show jgy that he can keep having fun with jc too.
(I feel like I insulted jgy intelligence, sorry )
[I ran out of people that could be students :') feel free to put suggestions, I might add]

what are ur thoughts on other mxtx ships i think xicheng is funny cause i like to imagine jc being pretty and decides to duck fuck lwj’s older brother i like fenqing cause i like the image of them being angry at each other for 700 years or wtv but still being together yk qijiu vibes coworkers with way too much sexual tension i think hualian does the devotion waiting trope better than w/x cause hua cheng is cool and xl is mature bingqiu is funny bc svsss is funny and sy is funny
i’m not really a multiship kind of person, i usually like one or two ships and then the rest are on a sliding scale of entertaining to meh to disgusting. for mxtx’s novels, i really like chengxian and qijiu. qijiu does have that coworkers with sexual tension vibe, but they’ve also got crazy devotion and sacrificial tendencies and are absolutely insane for each other. i love mutual obsession in couples. i’m pretty meh on xicheng, i don’t really see the appeal as they hardly interact and i think it’s mostly optimist/pessimist pairing along with pair the spares. not into fengqing bc i found mq and fx to be pretty annoying in tgcf. hualian is on the same level of wangxian for me bc hc hardly has a character (similar to lwj) and xl’s just goody two shoes trying too hard to be sarcastic and his outbursts are ‘spice’ mxtx added in that just reads as fake. bingqiu’s not bad, i like lbh’s char and i think his extreme personality is entertaining. not much of a fan of shen yuan but he’s okay.

sangcheng? WWX barely even mentions NHS and JC interacting, and since he was gone for 9 months of the GSL lectures and then dead for 13 years, I think he'd know!!
mingcheng? What, just because he's tall and strong and WWX teases JC about NMJ? Great OTP, idiot. He's not even in the top five eligible bachelor list.
chengyao? Infidelity much?? Or are women not REAL to you?
chengsu? WHY ARE YOU OBSESSED WITH BREAKING UP THEIR MARRIAGE?? Also she has like two lines of dialogue, they have clearly never spoken before. 🙄
3zuncheng? More like JC's healing bussy. Which is NOT healing, FYI.

chaocheng? This is double homewrecking.
zhuicheng? Barf!! In my version of the novel, JC constantly tried to murder every Wen survivor and said he'd eat a-Yuan!!
chengyi? It's sooo curious that you just recreated the chengxian dynamic without the real incest... Stealth chengxian shipper.
zhencheng? Who's Ouyang Zizhen?? Oh, right. AGE GAP!!!
xuecheng? Why would JC care about an orphan street kid with a lot of resentment? That's right... chengxian III: The Return.
OC/JC? Kind of telling that you had to make up a guy to ship with your blorbo... Unlike LWJ, who was specifically designed for WWX by the author, this is just sad.
JC/reader? Love yourself.

Putting data into tables: “Correcting deviations” in enterprise digitalization
Tumblr media
“The first companies to act will be central state-owned enterprises and listed companies,” industry insiders once publicly told the media.
In fact, some listed companies are not only the first to take action. As early as the past two years when policies were released one  HE Tuber  after another, these companies have already added data assets to the memorandum.
Following the official implementation of the "Interim Provisions", a listed company told the media that the company is carrying out internal data asset catalog sorting work, and is always paying attention to the relevant policies and latest trends in the "listing" of data assets.
First of all, the significance of "entering data assets into the balance sheet"
For an enterprise can be interpreted from two perspectives: one is the financial perspective; the other is the corporate development perspective.
From a financial perspective, placing "data assets" on the company's balance sheet can increase the company's profit margin to a certain extent and relieve performance pressure. And this is why the market value of many listed companies is much higher than profits and earnings.
When data assets are "on the table", this financial pressure and performance pressure will be relieved to a great extent. In today's era of rapid digital development, most of an enterprise's data assets should have been defined as corporate wealth and fully exploited.
In this regard, Yang Xuecheng, a professor and doctoral supervisor at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, believes that “data assets before being included in the balance sheet are listed in “expenses” according to “cost”, which can easily lead to low book values of corporate assets and low profits, which is not conducive to the long-term development of the company. After being added to the table, in addition to bringing about the most intuitive changes in the improvement of the company's scale, it will also play a positive role in the company's credit rating, financing capabilities, etc., and will also promote management to invest more in the digital economy and enhance the effectiveness of investment. Positivity.”
From the perspective of enterprise development, adding data assets to the table can reveal the value of enterprise data assets, and is more conducive to enterprises using data assets to mine data value. Not only can financial report users see information related to data assets more intuitively, data users can also conduct reasonable analysis and make business decisions.
Zhang Xiaomei, President and Chief Economist of the Sichuan Fintech Society, mentioned, “The entry of data assets into the balance sheet can provide enterprises with high-value data assets with opportunities to reasonably monetize data resources. Enterprises can form data products based on high-quality data resources. and services, and expand revenue sources through compliant circulation and reasonably priced transactions.”
Regarding the formation of data products and the management of data assets, some experts suggest, "Enterprises that have the conditions can create a fourth table, which is the data balance sheet. In addition, enterprises can also establish a data dictionary to sort out what data they have. , what type of data do these data belong to?”
In fact, in addition to affecting the financial aspects of enterprises, the "recording" of data assets also has a deeper significance in accelerating the digital transformation of enterprises.
In essence, the most direct impact of data assets on an enterprise is to "correct" the enterprise's "posture" of reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
For a long time, companies have discounted the banner of "digitalization" to reduce costs and increase efficiency. However, in fact, most companies' internal cost reduction and efficiency improvement transformation plans are led by a group of operating personnel who do not understand the company's business model and the nature of digitalization. All the way.
But in fact, the essence of digital transformation is to change production relations. Specifically, what are production relations?
In the past, when China had not yet entered the digital age, data had not been elevated to a more important level. Factors of production include labor, land, capital and entrepreneurs. Data has been elevated to a strategic level, and data has also been included in the composition of new production factors.
Therefore, the essence of digitalization is actually to change the past inherent production relations through digitalization, that is, to inject new production factors by adding data assets, thereby further promoting the development of the digital economy.
At the same time, in the context of subversion of production relations, the "recording" of data assets also means that the dividends of industrial digitization are about to come.
3. Where will To B data service providers go in 2024?
In addition to affecting listed companies, the addition of data assets to the table will also affect data service providers, also known as the data element industry chain.
Enterprises in the data element industry chain include everything from data collection to storage, from data processing to data circulation, to data analysis and ecological security, etc.
There are resource supply companies that provide data products; there are technology-enabled companies that provide technical capabilities such as data storage and computing, processing, and analysis and mining; there are also ecological service companies that provide data compliance, security, quality, and other assessment services. ; and data consumption service providers that are ready to integrate and purchase data resources according to business needs.
In the past two years, the rise of trends such as large models and data elements has put the data element industry chain at the forefront.
Taking the physical industry as an example, the digital transformation empowered by the data element market is embodied in every link from design and development to reaching consumers. Using digital tools as a starting point, data can help better understand market demand and supply chain operations, thereby bringing about the most intuitive improvement in production efficiency.
In addition, in the Internet industry and financial industry, data is also playing a greater value.
Specifically, the online shopping data mentioned at the beginning; personal data on social platforms; and real-time data with customer portrait tags in the financial industry, etc., will more easily flow to the entire data element industry after the data element market is activated in the future. in the chain.
Only by making full use of the data generated in the digital era can the vitality of the digital economy be further unleashed. In this process, the first company to feel the dividends is the data element industry chain.
However, from a larger perspective, the essence of putting data assets on the table is to activate the digital economy. As mentioned earlier, the specific way is by "correcting" the "posture" of enterprises' digital transformation.
The "incorporation" of data assets into the table is more like a "good recipe" to fundamentally cure digital transformation by subverting the old production relations.
China's enterprise informatization and digital transformation have been vigorously carried out for more than 20 years. However, the results of this process are already a microcosm from the development of SaaS and other industries.
However, in the context of the increase in the proportion of the digital economy in GDP and the premise that the industrial digital economy has become the "leading force" of the digital economy, in 2024, data assets will be elevated to a national strategic level, which will accelerate the entire To B industry. key. Finally, as the experts at the 2023 Global Digital Business Conference expressed, “Compared to technology, data mining, generation, and collection are more important in the process of converting data resources into data assets.”

See Through the CCP's Ideology
I recently listened to a statement given by a CCP secret-agent alike person. His posts during and ever since the 2019 Hong Kong Protests on a social media made him look like a Hongkonger in Hong Kong, strongly against the CCP and supports the independence of Hong Kong, however, his accent revealed that he was actually from the mainland of China and served for Jiang Zemin, a former leader of the CCP, also the leader of a faction of the CCP. When he talked about Jiang Zemin's "Three Represents", he said "the 'Three Represents' means we (the CCP) call ourselves socialism, but economically we follow the path of capitalism. However, we can't say it (openly)."
Tumblr media
"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Represents"
What makes him look like a CCP's secret agent is that when most of the active Hong Kong Protest advocates on Twitter got arrested, disappeared, his account remains active and he goes along with a bunch of pro-CCP people, playing a doubled face.
Due to the CCP's pathological liar nature and the concentrated ruling methods taken in the Communist China, people can hardly understand the CCP's ideology, however, like the blatant move of publishing the book "超限战/Unrestricted Warfare" in many languages, we can always find ways to see through the CCP's true thoughts that they never admit it officially.
Today, I saw an article on Wen XueCheng/文学城,a website targeting Chinese expatriates abroad. The title of the article says "The more chaotic the Middle East is, the better it is: ISIS’ strategy in the Middle East". The author "沉思的托克维尔" write a column for Zhihu/知乎. Zhihu is "an online content community where people come to find solutions, make decisions and seek inspiration" (*1) in China, representing China's mainstream media. Although the author's name looks like a western name, every writing and thinking of the article are made in China. So, the article is not about any original ideology of the ISIS, but a strategy from China.
Tumblr media

Tumblr media
"https://www.zhihu.com/column/c_152780986"
The article started with an inspiration from "Game of Thrones" and talked about the attacks happened in Kerman, Iran on Jan. 3, 2024. The inspiration is a character's motto: "Chaos is a ladder", saying "the pure motive of killing is to create chaos and benefit from it". It even pointed out that this reflects perfectly the survive rules of a character of the "Game of Thrones",
Tumblr media
but if we connect the dots in a series of worldwide wars/coup since 2019 and look into the hands behind them, the CCP may have adopted this as its survive rules:
Is the CCP Warmonger? Timeline after 2019 Hong Kong Protests
I will put the translation(based on Google Translation) of some parts of "沉思的托克维尔"'s article here:
"伊斯兰国的出现,沉重打击了伊朗,并标志着中东可能进入下一个“乱世”,从1960年代到现在,中东的问题从没有得到解决,反而愈演愈烈,这种混乱的局面给了伊斯兰国生存的土壤。" The emergence of the Islamic State has dealt a heavy blow to Iran and marked the possibility that the Middle East may enter the next "chaotic era." From the 1960s to the present, the problems in the Middle East have never been resolved, but have intensified. This chaotic situation has given the Islamic State a chance to survive.
"当时,代表逊尼派的萨达姆政府被推翻,接任的什叶派政府重用什叶派、打压逊尼派,大量逊尼派精英失去了地位和财富,他们成为伊斯兰国重要的支持者。"At that time(2006), Saddam Hussein's government, which represented the Sunnis, was overthrown, and the Shia government that took over re-emphasized Shias and suppressed Sunnis. A large number of Sunni elites lost their status and wealth, and they became important supporters of the Islamic State.
"在美国的支持下,伊拉克政府不断打击“伊拉克伊斯兰国”,一度使后者濒临灭绝。 然而,“阿拉伯之春”爆发后,中东多国陷入混乱。 “伊斯兰国”趁势崛起,占领叙利亚、伊拉克部分领土。"With the support of the United States, the Iraqi government continued to attack the Islamic State of Iraq, which once brought the latter to the brink of extinction. However, after the outbreak of the Arab Spring, many Middle Eastern countries fell into chaos. The Islamic State took advantage of the situation to rise and occupied some territories in Syria and Iraq.
"在此期间,伊斯兰国对什叶派控制的地区进行了大量恐袭,手段之残忍连基地组织都为之汗颜,这正是伊斯兰国的策略。他们想要激怒什叶派对手,这样什叶派对手就会残害其他逊尼派穆斯林,遭遇迫害的逊尼派穆斯林为了报仇,就会加入伊斯兰国。"During this period, the Islamic State carried out a large number of terrorist attacks on Shiite-controlled areas, with such cruel methods that even Al Qaeda would be ashamed of. This is exactly the strategy of the Islamic State. They want to anger their Shia rivals so that they will kill other Sunni Muslims, and Sunni Muslims who suffer persecution will join the Islamic State in revenge.
"另外,中东局势越乱,难民就越多,社会就越需要秩序,这样民众就会无条件地接受伊斯兰国的统治。" In addition, the more chaotic the situation in the Middle East is, the more refugees there will be, and the more society needs order, so that people will unconditionally accept the rule of the Islamic State.
"伊斯兰国要想生存,需要的正是无休止的仇恨,局势越乱,越是民不聊生,就越是有利于伊斯兰国的发展。"If the Islamic State wants to survive, it needs endless hatred. The more chaotic the situation is and the more deprived the people are, the more conducive it is to the development of the Islamic State.
I don't know if it's a strategy of the ISIS, but it is literally from a CCP propagandist's writing and thinking.
Back to the 2019 Hong Kong Protests, we all know that during the Protests, in addition to Hongkongers who reasonably asserted their rights and peacefully demanded the CCP to honor the duly signed Sino-British Joined Declaration on Hong Kong, different factions of the CCP also played a huge role in the Protests, but their goal is to replace the CCP leader and maintain the CCP's power.
The CCP's Double-Standard
The more the pro-CCP propagandists talk in Twitter Spaces, the more contradictory and double-standards are exposed, so does the CCP.
For example, today RFA reported that "China's Ministry of State Security(MSS) Detained The Head of a Foreign Consulting Institution For Being British MI6 Spy".
Tumblr media
"https://www.rfa.org/mandarin/yataibaodao/junshiwaijiao/al-01082024140234.html"
The articled quoted an official statement from China's Ministry of State Security that "MI6 instructed Huang (the accused person) to enter China several times and use (his/her) public identity as a cover to collect intelligence about China."
Tumblr media
The ironic thing is, in 2018, the Global Times/环球时报, a "daily tabloid newspaper under the auspices of the CCP's flagship newspaper" *2, defended for Xu Yanjun, who has been charged and later on convicted by the US for "conspiring to and attempting to commit economic espionage and theft of trade secrets" *3.
Tumblr media
"https://opinion.huanqiu.com/article/9CaKrnKdx6I"
The defense from the CCP's mouthpiece is "as long as Xu's contacts with American experts are public and the activities he engaged to invite them to China are public, he shouldn't have been charged as espionage."
Tumblr media
The article also acknowledged Xu's multiple names and his real position of "Deputy Division Director of the Sixth Bureau of the Jiangsu Province Ministry of State Security", so the CCP's double standard is that they can defend their intelligence agent's fake public cover as non-espionage and accuse a foreign person's public activities as "faked cover" for espionage.
It is worth to note that many people who engaged in the CCP's United Front have no official title, so that when they are being caught, the CCP can easily deny its responsibility and throw them under the bus, let them end their lives just Larry Wu-Tai Chin/金无怠 did.
On Jan. 12, one day before Taiwan's Election, New York Times Chinese published an article: "Taiwan election preview: Why it's important and what does it mean for China and the US".
Tumblr media
"https://cn.nytimes.com/asia-pacific/20240112/taiwan-election-china/"
In this article, the mainstream media literally helped the CCP to threaten both Taiwan and the US by saying (the result of the Election) may "increase the military threat and ultimately drag the United States into a war" which is exact the KMT candidate's political view, as well as the CCP's threat.
Tumblr media
What I found interesting is that the authors not only acknowledged their opinion is in favor of Beijing: "China's leaders have denounced the DPP as separatists and said voting for the party to stay in power for another four years equals a choice of war over peace", but also testified for Beijing's interference in Taiwan's election.
Tumblr media
The article clearly favored KMT and is optimistic for Hou Yu-ih, KMT's candidate, flattering his "victory is not out of reach", despite Taiwan public distaste for Ma Ying-jeou’s recent remarks that "(we) have to trust Xi".
Tumblr media
The American mainstream media who is advocating the CCP's opinion also expected Ko Wen-je(TPP's candidate), and the TPP to play an important opposition role in the legislature, if Lai Ching-te, DPP's candidate, wins the Election. For those who are not familiar with Taiwan's election, Ko and Hou tried to form a joint opposition ticket to overturn DPP government that the CCP hates, however, things didn't go Beijing's way.
Tumblr media
One thing that New York Times Chinese said true is that "no matter who wins the election, Beijing is likely to continue to pressure Taiwan through various means and increase military aggression/invasion." If so, why shall Taiwan people vote for a kowtow-leader?
Tumblr media

[SXX falling in love with regular!JC]
SongXueXiaoCheng | Mo Dao Zu Shi Modern AU 18-07-2021
[#songxuexiaocheng, or established songxuexiao fall for jc slowly]
what if the yi city fam owns a small restaurant/café (I wanna call it coffin house, named by xy) down the street where jc lives? And their prices are pretty affordable for him while also having delicious food.
aside from the affordable prices, jc also enjoys the ambience and the people working there. sl is rather cold at first, but jc learned that he is rather nice once you get to know him. xxc is the most welcoming one, easy to get along with.
a-qing is pretty nice and despite being a bit older than jl she always plays nice with him. It was nice that jl had someone to look after him when he got to school, he heard stories of aq fighting off bullies for him. xy is the one that took a bit more time to appreciate, as he would always bother and tease him, but he even grew fond of him.
The place is simply nice to go to and the food is good.
they go every Friday night and there's always a table free for them, even on busy night (lately he suspect that the owner keeps it free for when they come).
They also go when they want to celebrate something or when jc is simply too tired to make food. the first one to fall for jc in the three of them is xy. He is the one always around him since he is the waiter (sl won't let him in the kitchen 🙄) and there's simply something about jc that is really charming.
Plus he's used to other customers complaining about his attitude & jokes, being a cold to him when they are not regular (if only they knew how he was every day without toning it down for xxc!). but never jc. jc treats him so well, even when he was clearly not so fond of him.
there's something nice about the man treating him so nicely.
jc even nearly got into a fight with someone who was being disrespectful! he was starting to lose his patience and knew sl was coming, but then he heard someone else coming for the rude man and he was stunned.
he had not expected for jc to help him out (he probably didn't see sl coming too), while jl was still sitting in his seat cheering for his jiujiu. Everything was fine once sl escorted the man out while jc was calming down, before looking a bit embarrassed for causing such a scene. "He was being an ass from the very beginning" he simply said when sl thanked him.
xxc is the next to fall for jc despite not seeing him often. In the morning he usually helps with the coffee counter and he fell for the young man who is hard to wake up in the morning.
there is something adorable when jc is a bit more tired than usual, little a-ling gently pulling his jiujiu hands as he gets inside the coffin house. jc will always take jl in his arm to look at the nice pastry displayed so he can get one.
xxc simply fell for the man who treats his nephew like he was his own son and the most precious person in the world. From where he is hidden in the kitchen he can see the man always being so soft and nice with jl.
sl is the last to fall for jc. It is mostly because xxc and xy won't shut up about him. He never really put much attention on the duo, xy is always more than happy to take them himself. but the more he hears about him, the more he starts looking at them and seeing little details.
how jc always treats xy and xxc warmly and kindly, how he helps some of the old ladies who also come often, how he carries jl in his arms if there are too many people around, how he cuts jl's food while attentively listening to him rambles about his day, how he treats a-qing just as kindly when she decides to join them to talk with jl. he even overheard jc scolding some guy who was commenting on a-qing attitude.
and once he allowed himself to be a bit closer to jc (on night when he stole this one table from xy) he realise how nice it is to talk with jc.
jc ends up being loved by the couple yet doesn't notice it because he is oblivious.
he noticed what sort of relationship they all have (xy is not that discreet about it anyone, may or may not have done it to test jc reaction to it.). he simply assumes the way they act is because they appreciate him platonically.
that xxc and xy flirting (the latter less subtly) is simply because this is the way they are and how they show their appreciation.
It's not like he is good enough to be loved by such nice people any way he tells himself more than once when his mind wanders a bit and ends up wondering if it could hold something more than just being friendly with him.
Then one day, as they were closing sl scolded "xy! you forgot to lock the door again!" as the bell of the door chimed.
xy went to apologise and say they were close to whoever could not read the sign on the door, rolling his eyes.
but then he stopped on his way.
"a-ling?" this made both xxc and sl look up from where they were counting the cash register, seeing the young boy wearing his favourite yellow jacket. xy looked around to see if his jiujiu was somewhere close, only to find no one, making him frown a bit. Was jl here alone?
xxc quickly made his way to the little boy who looked like he had run all the way here from up the street, clutching money in his tiny hands.
"a-ling where is your uncle?" he asked, also noting the lack of him.
"jiujiu is at home sleeping!" jl said, "He got really sick this morning and pushed himself to still take care of me" he said quickly, "I wanted to do something for him to eat but we had no leftovers and jiujiu says I am too young to use the kitchen fully without him!" the trio quickly understood why jl was here: he wanted to come and buy something for his sick uncle.
jl then extended his hands, wanting to give the money to xxc who was crouching down in front of him "Can you make something for jiujiu?". xxc managed to put his worries to the side a bit to smile at the young boy gently pushing his hands away, making the young boy look a bit troubled.
"We have not fully cleaned the kitchen yet, I can make something for your jiujiu, but you do not need to pay" he smiled. jl looked a bit unsure since his uncle told him once that nothing comes for free. "Are you sure?"
"yes" smiled xy while patting his head, "We are closed, this is cooking for someone we also like so you do not need to pay" he added.
"You also love jiujiu?" a-ling asked with wide eyes, yet looking happy that other people also loved his jiujiu.
"Of course we do" gently laughed xxc while standing up, "Why don't you play with a-qing while I prepare something for you uncle?". with that, jl happily went to draw with a-qing, chatting with her as xy looked over them while cleaning the tables. When something was ready sl shooed the three of them out. "Go give this to your jiujiu, we will join you after," he said.
jl looked relieved when he saw the takeout box, grabbing xy and aqing's hand as he walked them back to their small apartment, happy to know his jiujiu would have something good to eat.
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵
jc woke up a bit confused, wondering why he was in jl's bed. slowly he remembered jl wanted to take a nap with him and he ended up falling deeply asleep.
now the problem was, jl was not by his side anymore! he quietly listened for something, but nothing came. No quiet tv playing on a lower volume so as to not wake him up, not stepping sounds.
He quickly got up (regretting it quickly as he felt dizzy doing so) walking around the apartment calling for his nephew. panic was slowly settling in as he couldn't find jl, worried as to where he might have gone to. His head snapped towards the door when he heard the sound of keys at the door.
whoever was there was quicker than him at opening him, revealing jl dragging two people in.
"jiujiu!" jl said with a smile when he saw him, running back to him "I wanted to prepare something for you but there was nothing left so I went to ask for help" he explained, making jc frown a bit, a bit angry that jl went out alone but relieved he is alright.
"a-chen made something for you" xy smiled as he got inside with a-qing so the cold air of outside wouldn't get in.
jc looked at them, before patting around for his wallet, trying to find it with his eyes. "Did you have money?" he asked jl.
"xue-gege said it was alright! That since they were closed they were now making food for someone they love!".
jc was a bit stunned at his word, looking up at xy a bit confused, waiting to see the young man clarifying what jl had just said.
yet all that xy did was go to the small kitchen, place the take-out box on the table, smiling at him in a smile softer than what he usually gives him. "there's really no need to worry about paying, we went to help" he simply said, "Now come and eat so you can get better soon or the grumpy old man will force-feed you, believe me, he won't allow people he loves to not eat properly".
jc was still trying to process what was being told to him as jl dragged him to his chair, walking around the kitchen to bring out what he would need to eat. he was joined by the three others, looking at the food still a be at a loss as to how to react. "I-I thought you three were..."
"We already are three, do you think we would mind being four?" xy asked as he nudge the plate closer to jc. jc was about to answer when the doorbell rang, jl ran to open it, revealing xxc and sl with more food containers.
"Hope we do not intrude," sl said as they got in after jl welcomed them.
"We wanted to make sure you were alright!" smiled xxc, "We brought some left over so you do not need to worry about making food for tomorrow" he smiled.
They were both a bit loss when jc didn't answer them, only looking at them dumbfounded. "xy what did you do to make jc look like this" sl asked while frowning.
"Nothing! a-ling told jc about us loving him and he stopped functioning after that!" he said offended that he was assumed to be the one to do that. not his fault jc clearly never picked on it before.
"But I am not-"
"You are great!" xxc said quickly, clearly seeing where this was going (little jl agreeing while nodding with force). "how could we not fall for you when you are so nice, gentle and great?"
jc was still unsure what they saw in him when he himself felt he wasn't good enough, but was cut short on his self-doubting thoughts by sl coming to him. "We will make you belive it, now eat, you need to get better soon, we know you want to take good care of jl and no one can run while being sick" he scolded.
That night jc had no choice but to eat properly, being taken care of by three persons who apparently were in love with him, slowly processing that. by the end of the night, as they were still taking care of him and being more directly affectionate, jc thought that it was maybe not so unreal that they loved him.
He thought it couldn't be bad to let his slight crush grow even more and accept them.

Meta Asks
3. What is that one scene that you’ve always wanted to write but can’t be arsed to write all of the set-up and context it would need? (consider this permission to write it and/or share it anyway)
Well, as it happens, I have one such scene written! Warnings for mildly gory thoughts because Jiang Cheng happens to have a lot of pent up rage and aggression. This is supposed to be in the feral cats 'verse (with all the warnings that entails lmao) but I never got the motivation to flesh out the fic I had planned around this scene.
--
“I’ll kill you,” says Jiang Cheng hoarsely.
His teeth are mere inches from Wei Wuxian’s throat. He could do it. He could lean forward, cross the space between, and tear at those fragile veins pulsing so close to the surface of his skin. He wants to, he wants to so badly he can already taste Wei Wuxian’s blood in his mouth and feel it running down his chin. Let him sink his teeth into his brother’s throat, oh God, because he wants it more than he’s ever wanted anything.
But Xue Yang’s shadowy restraints are firm and unyielding. Jiang Cheng can’t cross that divide no matter how he struggles, and Wei Wuxian looks at him with a wide-eyed expression of hurt. Good. He knows that Jiang Cheng means it.
“Don’t make a decision you’ll regret,” Xue Yang says lowly, and Jiang Cheng has just enough leeway to turn his head slightly. He glares at Xue Yang, who glares right back at him with a fierce, unyielding expression.
“I do what I damn well please,” Jiang Cheng breathes. Summoning all of his considerable strength, he tears at the restraints made of resentful energy. They’re made of grief and anger and bitterness, aren’t they? All the failures and the regrets and the terrible, heart-wrenching agony of living.
Old friends, Jiang Cheng thinks grimly, and for the first time in his life, grasps hold of those emotions and pulls.
It’s the closest he’s ever gotten to demonic cultivation. But it pays off, and the restraints loosen for just a moment. He sees Wei Wuxian’s red eyes widen, sees Xue Yang stumble backward in surprise, as he lunges forward. He doesn’t even have Sandu at the ready. Zidian is too slow. All he has are his teeth and the burning, incoherent rage he feels, that he’s felt since Wei Wuxian toppled off the Burial Mounds so many years ago.
But at the last moment, he reconsiders. Jiang Cheng can’t say why. Maybe it’s the astonished, frightened look in Wei Wuxian’s eyes. Maybe it’s the inarticulate cry of frustration from Xue Yang, so utterly out of character. Hell, for all he knows, it’s the way the sun glances off the lake at the last second, blinding him slightly. Whatever it is, Jiang Cheng’s teeth snap shut just before the skin of Wei Wuxian’s neck and instead he twists forward, throwing his entire body weight behind his fist. He punches Wei Wuxian so hard there’s an audible cracking noise, throwing his head to the side and sending both of them stumbling.
Jiang Cheng’s knuckles sting in an entirely too satisfying way as he drags himself upright. He’s breathing heavily, like he’s just finished some long, harrowing race. He looks at Wei Wuxian and flexes his hand once, twice, just to make sure the knuckles are still working properly.
“You’re so fucking righteous,” he growls, and punches him again.
Jiang Cheng knows on an intellectual level that Wei Wuxian is a Devastation-level ghost king who can probably teleport out of the way of his silly mortal punches. He knows, then, that Wei Wuxian is allowing himself to be hit. And he knows that Wei Wuxian is exactly the sort of self-deprecating bastard to genuinely accept that getting hit is his due.
This does not pacify Jiang Cheng. In fact, this makes him want to punch him harder.
But he’s gotten in two very sizable down payments on the debt that Wei Wuxian owes him for breaking too many promises to count, and so after the second punch, Jiang Cheng lets himself stagger and fall on his ass in the dirt. His knuckles hurt, because Wei Wuxian has an unreasonably bony jaw.
“I hate you,” he tells Wei Wuxian, because he feels like it needs to be said. But it comes out more exhausted than vitriolic. He feels so, so tired, down to the bone.
Wei Wuxian, rubbing at his jaw with a slightly dazed expression, nods. “I didn’t expect any less,” he admits absently, and Jiang Cheng suddenly finds he absolutely has the motivation to get back up from the ground, lunge forward, and grab the collar of Wei Wuxian’s robes in his good hand.
“Then why,” he spits, full of a wild rage even he doesn’t understand, “did you come back?”
Why did you come back late? Why did you come back dead? Wei Wuxian, you son of a bitch, why didn’t you ever ask me for help back then?
Wei Wuxian’s hazy red eyes seem to focus on him then, and Jiang Cheng is subjected to his serious, deadset expression. But then he smiles, ruining it—because Wei Wuxian’s smile hasn’t changed a bit since they were children.
He still shines like the sun.
“Jiang Cheng, didn’t you know?” Wei Wuxian asks, his voice light and teasing somehow. “Lotus Pier is my home.”
Jiang Cheng finds, upon hearing this, that there’s a lump in his throat he desperately tries to swallow down.
“Wei Wuxian,” he curses, and looks away.
He’s not crying. He’s not. He’s the sect leader of Yunmeng Jiang and—
And he’s had a long day, and his brother is still dead even if he’s somehow standing right there, and he’s going to commit a murder. At least one murder. And Xue Yang will help him because he is definitely extracting recompense for that stunt with the restraints.
Jiang Cheng is not crying, and so he buries his face in his sleeve to hide the fact that he is not, in fact, crying.
Blessedly, Wei Wuxian doesn’t say anything. But Xue Yang has no such tact. He walks over, and Jiang Cheng can tell it’s him by the light, skittering way he walks.
“Jiang Wanyin, how did you break out of Xinyi’s restraints?” he asks.
Jiang Cheng doesn’t reply. But he hears a quiet thunking sound and a grunt of pain from Xue Yang.
“I stopped him from killing you,” Xue Yang retorts, presumably in response to getting whacked.
“Leave him be,” says Wei Wuxian, and the tenderness in the words nearly makes Jiang Cheng get back up to punch him again—sore knuckles be damned—but Xue Yang lets out such an obnoxious snort that he chokes on a wet laugh instead.
“‘Leave him be, Xue Yang,’” parrots Xue Yang in a high-pitched voice. “‘Save me from Jiang Wanyin, Xue Yang. Explain your Skull-Piercing Nails, Xue Yang. Lick my—”
Then there’s a sound like fabric rustling and Xue Yang is making muffled shrieking noises. The next thing Jiang Cheng hears is an indignant yelp from Wei Wuxian and the distinct, delighted sound of Xue Yang’s laughter.
“He bit me!” cries Wei Wuxian. “Are you—is he your guard dog?”
Jiang Cheng sighs, long and loud, and lifts his face carefully from his sleeve. “Down, Xue Chengmei,” he says, and Xue Yang smirks at him in a distinctly cat-like way.
Wei Wuxian squawks in outrage and Jiang Cheng, hearing that familiar sound, feels boneless and light. There’s a weight off his shoulders that he’d never noticed was there. Like he can breathe again.
