KUNG FU PANDA X WUXIA
K guys, have an idea here and i need some feedback if you know anything about wuxia, Xianxia or just a single danmei, y'know how Kung fu panda is actually based completely on not only Chinese culture but heavily inspired by the wuxia genre as well? You can even see the resemblance on some things, the qi being just like spiritual energy than CAN be stolen, like what happened with kai on KFP 3, the wuxi finger is basically a forced qi deviation, the power that you can cultivate by training, the way that oogway literally ascended to a heavenly realm as a god after years of cultivating spiritual energy, like we only needed Po to bleed from his mouth and we have literally everything for it to be an actual wuxia/xianxia story, so i was thinking, why not make a fan comic of the story of the movies as an actual wuxia/xianxia with human characters and a bit more blood and exaggeration????
You may be thinking "why tf would you want to do that with a kids movie" or even just "why?"
And my answers are: because i love Chinese fantasy and kung fu panda so i want to combine them further, and for the second question i would like to say that just because i want to...but that's not the case my fellow internet people... It is because the human versions of the furious five that i always come across on Pinterest i hate with a passion 🕴🏻
Not to say anything bad about the artists skills or to bash their designs at all, but i would love it if people weren't so forgetful about the fact the furious five are you know... Chinese I feel like people isn't taking advantage of that culture at all
And not only Chinese, we're talking about historical periods of old china were no one was allowed to cut their hair or show skin below the neck
Like why would po wear a tiny shirt? Why would po be bald? Why would monkey be black? (It kinda rubs me the wrong way how some people make specifically monkey the only dark skinned character i think it reads racist ngl 🤨) Why would tigress have a pixie cut? Why would viper show so much skin when she's the daughter of a respectable warrior and would basically be very close to being a princess? Like- things like that are completely fine, nothing wrong to the vision they have on the characters, but to the neurodivergent hyperfixating me, the fact that no one overanalizes anything about this kids movie about a panda eating dumplings is outrageous, it's not them, it's me 😔✊🏻
SO
I've spent a few months organizing ideas on how i believe a more wuxia/Xianxia design of the characters would look like
I've been trying to keep the design closer to the animals they supposedly are but it's kinda hard (◎_◎;)
For Po i keept his body shape and decided a bun or any kind of high hairstyle would be ideal for him since he was a cook and still cooks a lot, a ponytail or half up hairstyle would get on his way a lot. I decided to give him vitiligo to mimic the panda spots on his original design, crashing his weight, height and skin to add the unique factor that was present on the movie by him being the only panda on the valley, He's the only one I've actually drawn yet but it is still in development
For tigress or however tf you spell it, English isn't my first language. I decided to go for a sharp and serious look
To keep it simple, I'll be giving her a light brown shade of hair, i want to avoid giving them vibrant hair colors but still having some nods to their color pallets on the movies, giving her an almost reddish light brown hair and mostly red and orange robes with black accents and accessories as well keeping her original outfit with a few changes. I wanted to give her a ponytail since i don't feel like she'd put all of her hair up; and instead of claws, she will have a variety of knives at her disposal for battle
Next, for viper, my favorite gal
I wanted to make her look significantly more elegant and younger that the rest of the five since, like i said, she is from a prestigious family, i wanted to accentuate how pampered a girl from a good family could look, i also decided to keep her ribbon dance plot, the only reason to why i gave her arms, since i love the idea of her fighting with her legs but that ribbon dance so i decided to give her congenital hand differences as her disability, turning the "her family uses fangs to attack and she was born without them" to "her family uses pressure points to attack and she was born with mostly dysfunctional fingers", this way she would still be considered an exceptional warrior with ribbons that she can control with her wrists and arms. I also want to give her a really really dark forest green colored hair :D
M O N K E Y
For monkey i wanted to go for a little more adult vibe as well as for mantis; i wanted to give him some scruffiness since he started out as a prankster until oogway found him...yeah that family friendly story isn't going to work, let's face it, monkey was living in the streets stealing what he could for fun, my man was a criminal and homeless, he wasn't a good person and even po said so while telling his story to the kids, so, I gave him a style that would resemble someone who once was carefree and from a low social position that still doesn't care much about material things, but cares enough to not disappoint or dishonor his masters. I will be giving him a more yellow and light brown wardrobe to resemble his colors on the movie and as for attack, he'll use a long cane like he sometimes does in the canon
Now for crane (≧∇≦)/
Crane is very simple to imagine as a human so there's not much i can say about his design other than the fans, i decided to give him a pair of fans as weapons, using them to cut down enemies as if they were blades and also to give him the stability to fly, since i won't take away his ability to fly as it is something common on wuxia and or xianxia stories, i like to think he is the only one who trained this flying technique by watching real disciples on temples he'd clean, but still needs his fans for stability and to be able to carry and support the weight of multiple people hanging onto him
LASTLY ~mantis~
The mature vibes~ i wanted to keep him looking a bit more like a warrior since that was his job before training under shifu's roof, he had a reputation and prestige, so i thought he might look a bit more professional; I'll also give him green robes but i haven't decided if he'd use a weapon or not 🤔 I'm also keeping him a short king
So, what do you guys think? Should i go more bold with the designs? Have any feedback or opinions? Because I'd love to hear it! (≧∇≦)/
I'm prepared for this post to flop so bad omg

The Writing's On The Wall - Chapter 2
Summary: She's a demon, he's a hunter. Their fates intertwined after a chance encounter. Can Nesta and Cassian overcome all odds to be together? Chinese Wuxia AU setting/Inspired by Legend of the White Snake
A/N: A clip of Shang Chi's parents falling in love as they fight may or may not be an inspiration for this chapter 😊
Read: Chapter 1 | AO3
Chapter 2: 相会 (meet again)
Nesta heaved a sigh of relief at the sight of the bamboo forest which hid their home. She crossed it, the magic of the forest bending to her will to allow her through to the clearing towards the house she shared with Gwyn.
Gwyn still laid in the same position she was in when Nesta left the day before. The wounds on her remained open and raw, her healing slowed down to a trickle without any energy to sustain her. Nesta tampered down the rising anger at the sight of her injured friend, another victim of the so-called honourable hunters. She hurried to retrieve the orb tucked within her lapel and pressed it against Gwyn’s chest, urging her, “Absorb it.”
Gwyn opened her eyes and stared at Nesta blearily, her words coming out muddled, “Nesta? Wha-”
“Absorb it,” Nesta repeated.
Gwyn’s eyes fell shut and the orb glowed. She gave a long exhale as colour began to return to her face and the wounds steadily stitched itself up. By the time she opened her teal eyes once more, the orb was dull and empty. “Nesta,” she whispered, “Where did you get that?”
“Tomas Mandray”
“The hunter?!” Gwyn asked incredulously, “Please tell me you killed him and he’s not out for your cold blood.”
Nesta shrugged, “I’ll deal with it.”
“Oh, Nesta,” she gave Nesta a worried onceover, You’re injured. You shouldn’t have let me absorb the whole orb.”
Nesta waved her away, dismissing the notion, “I’ll recover after a few days in the falls. You needed the qi much more than I did.”
Gwyn frowned, glancing down at her hand, flexing it open and close. Nesta cuts in before she even got a word out, “No, don’t you even think about it.”
“I don’t need all of it,” she protested, “Just fifty years could do wonders.”
“I’m fine,” Nesta insisted, walking out of the hut, “It’s not like I’m desperate to chengxian and enter the heavenly gates. You keep it.”
Nesta spent the rest of the day meditating under the waterfalls up the mountains, cultivating the qi needed to heal her remaining injuries. She swallowed a sigh of frustration as her thoughts once again wandered to Cassian, his bright imploring eyes and infuriating smirk. Her wandering thoughts once again disrupted the flow of qi circulating within her body. She sighed and stood up, taking in the beautiful panoramic view from the cavern and made her way down back to the hut.
Gwyn sat before the fireplace, stirring a pot of stew. She reached for the earthen bowls when Nesta entered, scooping the contents of the pot into the bowls. Nesta took it with a nod of thanks.
“You haven’t made as much progress in your recovery as I expected,” Gwyn commented, frowning as her brows furrowed, “Is there something you’re not telling me?”
Nesta paused and considered her friend’s question. Cassian’s face coming to the forefront of her thoughts once more, “I met someone last night.”
***
Nesta stopped in her tracks, staring at the wind chime jingling melodically by the entrance to the stone house, the west lake sparkled behind her. When she returned home from her fight with Mandray two weeks ago, she was insistent on never coming here. Yet, here she was.
A gentle tug on her sleeve broke her out of her reverie, "Excuse me, do you want to come in?" a bright eyed young girl no older than ten asked. Before Nesta could respond, the tug turned into a pull and Nesta found her walking towards the house, “C’mon!”
“Wait!” Nesta protested, stopping the girl in her tracks, and asked, “Is this where Cassian lives?”
The girl’s face brightened and answered cheerfully, “Yes, shifu is in today.” The girl turned back and all but dragged Nesta into the house, announcing as she entered, “ Shifu ! There’s a pretty lady here to see you!”
“Ivy!” another older girl, around fifteen or sixteen, said sternly before flashing an apologetic look at Nesta, “I’m sorry about this. We don’t really get many adult guests around here.”
Nesta found herself smiling at the girls and waved off the elder’s concern, “Don’t worry about it.”
“I’m Suzie by the way,” the elder girl introduced herself as she led Nesta into the house, “ Shifu is running drills with a couple of the younger kids. I’ll let him know you’re here.”
“No, that’s alright. No need to interrupt him,” Nesta assured her, “I’m Nesta - just an acquaintance.”
Nesta heard the grunts and sounds of exertion as they entered the courtyard. A class of a couple of kids around Ivy’s age doing striking drills, repeating forward jabs with their elbows. In the middle stood Cassian, counting out the commands and correcting their forms. His eyes whipped towards them as they stood by the side and Nesta found herself pinned still by the hazel eyes which haunted her dreams.
“Ok, everybody take five,” he called out to the relief of the kids around him and found them in a couple of quick strides.
“Suzie, could you take over class for me? Move on to defence - block and counter.” he instructed before turning to Ivy, “You should join them for the remaining session.”
The two girls nodded in deference. Ivy moved aside to start on some warm-up movements while Suzie walked towards the front of the class. Cassian looked over the both of them with a small but proud smile.
"Hello, Nes," Cassian greeted breezily as he turned back to her, "To what do I owe this pleasure?"
Nesta raised a brow, "Do we know each other well enough to have nicknames?"
Cassian's smile widened, white teeth flashing, "We can always start now."
"No," she snapped, "and don't call me Nes.'
Cassian hummed noncommittally, “So, Nesta," dragging out each syllable of her name, “What brings you here?”
Nesta's brain scrambled to come up with an excuse, anything other than the truth, that she couldn't stop thinking about him, that he lurked behind every thought, every action.
"Tomas Mandray would be out for revenge," she stated, willing her voice calm, “I don’t think he found out my identity that night but I’d appreciate it if you keep that fact to yourself.”
“You never had to ask,” Cassian promised, his expression earnest, “I meant what I said, Nesta. If Mandray ever gives you trouble, you’ll always have a safe place here.”
“No.” Nesta interjected instantly, “If the monk is after me, I will handle him.” She turned away stiffly, keeping her attention focused on the children practising their defence sequence in pairs.
Cassian narrowed his eyes, following her line of sight. “We can handle ourselves, you know. You wouldn’t be endangering anyone if you ever needed sanctuary.”
Nesta replied stiffly, “I’m not bringing danger to a place that shelters children.”
Cassian grabbed her hand, pulling her attention away from the kids and back to his face. He took out a small oval Azure pendant strung from a thin strand of leather from his lapel and tied it around her neck, “Then at least take this. If anything happens, send some qi into this pendant and I’ll come running. No matter what.”
He demonstrated, pressing a finger into the pendant. It glowed and lit a comforting warmth against Nesta's chest. Through his robe, a yellow light flashed. A matching pendant.
“Where did you get this?” she asked in wonder, fingering the warm pendant buzzing pleasantly against her chest.
“A hunter never reveals his secrets,” he replied, giving her another infuriating grin.
“Miss miss!” a young voice interrupted them. Ivy ran over, gesturing at her waist, “Is that a sword? Do you fight?”
“Ivy!” Suzie reprimanded from behind, "Get back to class!" Ivy ignored her, much to her dismay.
“Are you any good?” she tugged at Nesta’s sleeve once again, looking up at her with wide beseeching eyes, “Are you as good as shifu ?”
“That depends on how good your shifu is,” she returned smoothly, meeting Cassian’s cocky stare evenly.
" Shifu is the best!" Ivy insisted, shaking her head slightly, "It's just…" she continued with a tired sigh far beyond her years, "Everyone says girls shouldn't fight, that girls like me and Suzie will never get married."
Nesta pushed down the anger that was rising within and knelt down to meet the young girl's eye level, telling her with a conspiratorial whisper, "It's because they're scared of us."
"They're… scared of us?" she asked timidly, "But we're girls."
"Exactly," Nesta nodded along, "They're afraid you'll be stronger than them and they won't be able to tell you what to do anymore."
Ivy looked at her with slight skepticism. Nesta pushed herself off the ground and winked at Ivy, "I'll show you." she turned to Cassian, raising her chin, "Up for a little challenge?"
His features were graced with a smirk as he unsheathed his sword and adopted a ready fighting stance, "Ready when you are."
Nesta launched herself forward, steel clashing into steel as Cassian swiftly blocked the attack. Nesta exhaled sharply, speaking in fast, soft tones, "Don't you dare take it easy on me, hunter."
"I won't dream of it, sweetheart." he breathed, laughing when Nesta huffed in annoyance.
Cassian tilted to force the sword into a diagonal downward motion, circling himself to strike back at Nesta. Nesta sidestepped to dodge the sword and promptly returned with a slash, causing the man to twist in the air and deliver a flying kick towards her. She reached out to grab his foot and twist it together with the flow of momentum, throwing Cassian down to the floor. He struck back, using the opposing force of the blow to push himself high into the air, his qinggong providing a controlled descent back to the ground, giving a cheeky wink as he did so.
Nesta did not allow herself to dwell on the heat radiating from cheeks and quickly launched a series of slashes and jabs at him. Cassian's face lighted with exhilaration as he expertly parried each move. When he closed the distance between them, he did another sidestep to whip out his elbow in attack and used Nesta's blocking arm as a distraction to disarm her. His sword now laid a precarious inch away from her neck.
Nesta scoffed before flipping back into the air and circled around to tackle him from the back, tossing him to the ground. Her arm moved in to dislodge his grip on his sword. She caught the sword as it spun in midair and she stood over him as he laid on the floor, the tip of his sword teasing his neck.
Her triumphant smile slipped at the intense stare, Cassian's eyes dark and burning. A creeping heat coiled in her belly. In the next moment, Cassian had her on her back, his limbs locking hers down as the sword clattered in the distance.
He lowered his face close to hers, his breath hot against her skin as he muttered, "You're good. I underestimated you for a moment."
Nesta twitched her lips up into a smirk, transforming her limbs slightly to slip out of his grasp. She caught a glimpse of surprise hazel eyes as she forcefully pushed her palms into his chest and sent him flying across the courtyard.
Cassian recovered from the fall smoothly, leaping up to both feet simultaneously. He held up both hands in surrender, "I think that's enough for a demonstration."
The class erupted into chaos.
***
"Alright, I think that's enough for today." Nesta said warmly to a panting Ivy.
"No, I can continue, shijie ." the girl replied stubbornly, her eyes glowing with petulance.
Nesta opened her mouth to rebut when a low commanding voice cuts in, "That's enough, Ivy. Remember what happens when you train to the point of over-exhaustion?"
"You get injured." Ivy finished with a whine, "Will you be here tomorrow, shijie ?"
Nesta stared into the puppy dog eyes and sighed internally. "I'll be here." she promised.
Ivy cheered and ran off, leaving Nesta alone with Cassian. She observed silently as the children put away the training apparatus and started shuffling their way into the main building instead of heading home.
"They're orphans," Cassian said suddenly. "Not all of them but most."
"And you took them in?" Nesta guessed, her respect for the man in front of her multiplying.
Cassian's answering smile was melancholic, the sight twisting her heartstrings, "I know what it's like to be out on the streets."
Nesta offered a small smile and hesitantly reached out for his hand, revelling in its warmth, "You're doing a good thing here."
Her heart fluttered traitorously at Cassian's returning smile.
As promised, Nesta returned the next day to coach the kids. And the following day and the day after that too. The routine was comfortable to fall into. To get swept up in Cassian's cocky smiles and Ivy's bubbly enthusiasm.
On the fourth day, she was surprised to hear something other than kids running around and the thudding of wooden swords.
"We will be continuing with Li Bai poetry for the rest of this week and the next so I expect the books to continue to be in excellent condition." a feminine voice instructed.
"Yes, laoshi ." the class chorused.
The door slid open just as Nesta reached out for the door. The teacher lit up when she saw Nesta, "You must be shijie ."
Nesta smiled and shrugged, "I think they've decreed me as such."
The lady laughed heartily, "I know what you mean. I entered this house as a bookstore owner and left as a teacher." she stuck out a hand, "I'm Emerie, nice to meet you."
Nesta took the hand, nodding in mutual understanding, "Nesta. Li Bai is a classic."
Emerie gave a slight grimace, "Too scholarly?"
She shook her head. "A classic" she insisted, "But not my type of everyday reading."
"Oh?"
Nesta fished a notoriously romantic novel out of Emerie's open bag in response. "This is more my type of everyday reading.
Emerie grinned in response, "Oh, I like you already."
***
Cassian found her later that evening standing by the tip of the lake, looking out into the wide horizon. She scooted over to make space for him, content to observe him appreciatively in the comfortable silence that settled over them. The way the light breeze gathered his hair exposed his neck, revealing whorling ink that trailed into his clothes. The gentle glow of dusk accentuated his chiselled jawline.
"Have you heard about the recent attacks of the mind demon?" he asked quietly.
Nesta frowned, snapping out of her reverie, "The mind demon doesn't haunt out of its usual base in Nanjing."
"It usually doesn't," he agreed, "but we have been receiving reports of similar mind attacks in the nearby villages. Mostly on children."
"You're going after it." she surmised. A hunter, she told herself. Killer of her kind. Malicious demons , another internal voice reminded her.
Cassian nodded curtly in confirmation. "I'm leaving tomorrow and will probably be away for a week or two." he paused, a crack of hesitation in his usual confident posture, "Will you watch the children for me while I'm away?"
"You're trusting me with your children?" she asked incredulously.
He shrugged, "They look up to you and respect you. I've seen how you are with them. I know you can and will protect them." he looked into her eyes intently, "I trust you."
Nesta's chest warmed at the implication but frowned at the prospect of protecting them by herself. "Could I bring a friend over? More hands on deck and all?"
"Friend as in-"
"A demon" she cuts in flatly.
Cassian shot her a wry smile, "I trust you, Nes. If you trust her then I do too."
"Don't call me Nes," she said automatically and scowled at the unrepentant smirk.
"Cassian," she called out just as he turned to head back in, "Please be careful. Don't underestimate Briallyn for a second."
Nesta rolled up a sleeve to reveal a scaled arm and pulled out a scale in one smooth movement, barely flinching from the action. She resolutely kept her gaze just below his face as she slid her fingers across his neck, tracing the leather strand and withdrew the pendant from under his shirt. She held the scale over the pendant, closing her eyes as she set the scale ablaze with her silver fire, melting it into the pendant. It transformed, Azure meeting swirls of silver.
"A protective charm," she told him as she tucked the pendant back into his clothes, hands resting on his chest, "So that you come home to the children."
Cassian gently took her hands and lowered his face to them, lightly grazing his lips over them as he promised, "I'm coming back home, Nesta." I'm coming back to you .

Wuxia AU (Section 1: Introduction)
I imagined Giovanni serving Tang Yuan (汤圆, a traditional Chinese dessert of (sometimes colourful) glutinous rice balls served in hot broth) to his brothers (minions/boys) and now I have an AU setting.
Also, Happy Winter Solstice!
Inspired by old Kung Fu and Wuxia films from the 70s where:
Anything can be a weapon in the right hands
Anyone with enough training or experience can be a capable fighter
And, chivalrous heroes and sinister villains clash for treasures, ideals and fame.
Doesn't this sound a bit similar to Epithet Erased in some ways?
So here is an AU in which our midnight heist takes place in a grand temple hiding a treasure, with bandits and vagabonds behind every curtain, and a little girl trapped behind the closed gates. Also everyone is wearing some form of traditional Chinese clothing or clothing styles that originated in ancient China, and sometimes sing as in an opera.
Magic System
Instead of epithets and inscribed, anybody can harness Qi or supernatural powers through enough training and hardwork/grit. Our inscribed characters in this AU have these powers through years of experience using them, the luck to gain a boost (eating magic pills) or to be born with innate potential, or the unluck to be forced by fate to become stronger in order to overcome its machinations.
Characters
Molly
Pretty much the same with mostly aesthetic changes. Her powerset focuses on dispelling in order to control her older sister's with the opposite focus of creation. She has never wielded an actual weapon in her life.
Giovanni
Was once a good child who gained a passion in cooking to the point his skills are focused around making Soup and similar concoctions. Unfortunately he managed to read Water Margin and decided to become a bandit by joining the Yellow Scarfs (Banzai Blasters), a 'bandit' group more of a private criminal mercenary and highway robbery organisation.
Instead of baseball, in this AU Giovanni has a side skill in Da Tuolo (A Chinese whip and spinning top game) unmatched amongst his brothers (instead of 'boys' in this AU) and peers. Instead of the 13 combo effect, its now a 4 combo effect at the 'cost' of rarely using the whip as a weapon (It's his only one, plus he uses it for competitions. Furthermore he knows the pain of being hit with it by accidental self use or by others accidently hitting him with their whips during practice).
Sylvie
A young man (often mistaken for as a kid) from a pastoral family who studies and practices the analysis of Qi usage on the human body, as well as how to take care of it. A horn-hat wearing recluse who has more knowledge than his age suggests. Or at least, this is the story he tries to present...
His skillset focuses on pacification (useful for calming down animals and troublesome patients) with an odd ability of transforming into a bull monster as his 'dreamform' or something. He also has a large amount of magical trinkets and talismans as well as general knowledge of pressure points on the human body, these consist the majority of his arsenal in the event of a fight.
Mera
Born with an unusual amount of power, her magic tends to be rather unstable and constant usage can harm her. Her noble family could not provide a solution despite their wealth to aid her, and thus she left to travel the world with Indus to seek a remedy for her condition.
Her powerful abilities allows her to manipulate matter into a more fragile state like porcelain. She is rather tricky, and may use stealthy, disguised or unconventional weapons to catch her opponents off guard.
Indus
Same fellow as in canon Epithet Erased with the ability to create magical barriers. Only that he probably came from a nomadic clan in the west or north.
Percy
Either a former member of the imperial army or just born in a rather chivalrous martial arts clan, she serves the city guard with an honorable distinction.
She however, has a rather low stamina which regulates her to a support role, where she does her best to learn how to treat wounds, care for weaponry, and other skills a support role may need in the military.
Despite her low stamina, she is still a remarkable fighter nonetheless. Her weapons include the infamous Tamade Sword (他妈的剑!), and a pair of mirrors (one is semi-transparent while the other has a very bright reflection). Reflected light from the latter mirror can actual be used to revitalise one's face and skin; but when the former mirror is used to direct sunlight into the latter mirror, the resulting ray of reflected light can blind, scald and even burn anything it touches with enough exposure.
Ramsey
He has lived many schemes disguised as lives, but it seems his luck has run out, forcing him to be on the run. A former merchant, conman, and even a (albeit corrupt) governor; anything related to gold is his domain to rule if he gets the chance.
Speaking of gold, his skillset is focused around turning things into precious metals (though he prefers gold), he can even do this to himself to avoid physical harm.
Zora
Some say she served the Immortal Emperor when he was alive, while others say she was once a warlord who ruled over the far-flung steppes. Nevertheless, this mysterious and terrifying woman serves as mercenary and assassin for a shadowy faction that has plans to usurp the Mandate of Heaven.
Swords, traps, knives, bows, crossbows and flying guillotines may be her primary or secondary weapons. But her signature weapon is none other than a small water clock. No one has seen the use of such an odd contraption in the hands of a mercenary, much less its use as a weapon, and lived to tell the tale. Rumours say the waters of time drip and flow to her command, and from which she nourishes her seemingly unending youth.
Poor Vasemaker from the temple
Works in the temple to make, manage and take care of the vases there. Is also the artist behind the newest vase so beautiful as to be worth more gold than what the temple could afford. When Giovanni smashes a specific and rather intricate vase, this poor fellow wakes up and hops out of bed sobbing "My vases!" and "My life's work!" in the distance.
Meta Data: One of the first AUs we've made together. A setting centered AU inspired by the Wuxia genre. Pre-POP story.
Status: General character, location and plot redesigns made, little to no name changes. There are 2 world concepts (based on 2 similar AU concepts during early development that differed in cultural focus called 'Wuxia AU' & 'Silk Road AU', the former is the current basis of this AU).
