This is still one of my favorite scenes, because each time Wu Xie dedicated longest paragraphs in his notes describing Xiaoge's fingers (and the way he moves and etc), I always thought about how thirsty he is, but actually seeing them including this scene, making it so sensual and editing it from Wu Xie's eyes perspective is just... thanks, I could finally say "TOLD YOUUU" xD

So, time got a little away from me and I have abruptly realized that it's that time of year again. I wanted to put out a little post to gauge whether or not there is enough interest to run this exchange again this year. But I realize that time is of the essence if I want to get this up and off the ground any time soon.

So! How about a poll?

I also had a vague thought of perhaps adding videos as an option for what you can create for a recipient and adding the DMBJ mobile game as an option the way the Time Raiders movie is an option (i.e., you can choose it but it can't be your only option). So, my first Kpop bias Luhan and Jing Boran (Lan Jue~) did a dmbj adaptation together where Boran played Zhang Qiling aka Luhan!Wu Xie’s xiaoge so I have to watch it. This is Time Raiders (2016)

His first and second look as Zhang Qiling within seconds of each other and well, I guess, I’m surprised?

The CGi ain’t great. Ah, here he is him snapping the blade with his fingers. A different version of “Zhang Two Finger Technique”? Jk

Excerpt from Wu Xie's journal:

If you asked me what came over me that day, I could not possibly say, or even begin to justify what I did. I can blame the summer sun, I can blame the alcohol, I can claim my brain just short-circuited, but in the end none of that matters. I did what I did.

I certainly cannot blame Pokerface.

He'd done nothing but sit there in front of me, shirtless in the heat, rummaging in his backpack with his back turned to me.

Focused on his task, he was bent slightly forward and I followed, transfixed, the shift of his muscles and bones under his skin. My attention zeroed in on the soft point of his shoulder-blade, dulled by a layer of muscle and skin. It was nowhere near the first time I saw Pokerface shirtless but somehow that day, in the summer sun, the slow, calm movements of that one bone were having a hypnotic effect on me, so instead of tearing my eyes away when my staring became obnoxious I did the unthinkable:

I reached out to touch.

His skin was exactly as lush and velvety as I guessed it would be. (And I did spend a regrettable amount of time imagining how it would feel under my hands, I can admit it now.) He stilled, his shoulder-blade sliding under my knuckles as he let go of his backpack.

I could still have pretended I just wanted to get his attention.

I probably should have.

Instead, as if pulled by the force of gravity I tipped forward and kissed his back.

It was just a light touch of my lips against his soft skin, but that was more than enough to send my heart into overdrive. Face burning, I propped my forehead against his shoulder, waiting for the hammer to fall, for him to jerk away.

He did not.

At this point I have already crossed all the boundaries I possibly could have, so I decided to push my luck even further. Inhaling deep, I breathed in the scent of his sun-warm skin and pressed my lips against his back, this time with intent. I barely caught his sharp little gasp - I may not have noticed it at all if not for the small hitch of muscle under my touch. Emboldened, throwing all caution to the wind I mouthed along the curve of his shoulder-blade, all the way up to his shoulder.

He shifted minutely under my lips and I froze, only now noticing that he was watching me from the corner of his eye. Feeling caught out I was about to retreat, but he just closed his eyes, face relaxed and content, tipped his head forward and to the side, baring his neck in a clear invitation.

Well.

How could I have possibly said no to that?
