Who says Halloween is over? 👾👻🎃
I wrote a poem and article about how loving and caring my grandma is. The article talks about our relationship and bond, but it also talks about my fears and insecurities.

Academic narcissism is real. But people are not ready for this discussion. Parental narcissism is real, but people don't have the emotional maturity to accept that maternal and paternal narcissists exists.
Narcissism is not tied to a specific thing, person, or a relationship. It is a universal parasite that will feed on anything to keep itself alive, but some people haven't developed that level of understanding to digest this fact.
Have you thought what happens when a narc becomes a mother, or a father, or a friend, or a teacher, or a student? Have you? A narcissist will prey in every form possible.
Stop saying, "but she is your mom/ he is your dad/ she is your wife/ he is your hubby/ they are your friends/ they are your siblings/ they are your teachers/ they are your students/ they are your confrères".
Stop it! If you haven't got any bacterial infection yet, doesn't mean there are no bacteria in the universe.

Our single brain cell is on display in this podcast because we wandered all over the writer's landscape today, starting with writing posture, segueing to mojo and frame of mind, and ending with a chat about writers spending money.
We also did the usual update of our personal writing projects, so here's the usual reminder that we have a book coming out on January 9, 2023. Preorder it for 99¢ now for the price goes up on January 10, 2023.
Have a listen and have a great week, everyone!

Hit 50,000 words!
One thing I've learned through writing my book is you're going to hit a lot of walls. May that be from life getting in the way or create blocks that squash any potential for words to transfer onto paper, it's a bit of a trip.
I recently hit 50,000 words in my manuscript and it's been bittersweet. There is still so much story to tell and I feel myself hitting that wall of distain. Where I hate every word I've put to paper at this moment.
Then I remember this is the roughest of rough drafts. It isn't going to be perfect. It's going to have cringeworthy scenes and dialogue which may result in me wanting to fling myself off a cliff (hypothetically of course) but it's part of the journey.
I'm proud of making it this far. Soon I hope to begin the revision rounds which are so desperately needed.

Ballerina
"I want to be a ballerina"
The tiring lyrics my mom
wish she could stop -
As the day goes by without
A home tutor or academy.
She saw the burning desire -
She heard the screaming
Dream - Of her five years old child
Who wish to be a #ballerina -
In a remote town.

Does anyone else work really hard one day to get all their daily life tasks done, so you can spend a whole day writing? I’m working on character sketches today. How about you?

Hello!
Time will tell if I actually use this account but this is the bubble in the river for Jordan @feralbookwitch on Twitter so I can keep track of everyone moving here as twitter (possibly?) implodes. If you were looking for your local monster sympathizer hi hello you've found me!
