So for my birthday I asked for a gym membership because I want to get healthy again!
Today was my first day in with @hrstories1234 and I knew it would be a struggle and need to take it easy since I’m so out of shape.
I worked out for 30 minutes…which is more then I planned to do I’m proud of that.
15 minutes treadmill
5 minutes elliptical
10 minutes arm workout machine.
Felt good to work up a sweat again!

GoonMilk Gym is back open for business for the Spring and Summer Seasons! Today was our first official workout, and felt great to be back! Starting off with a light arms workout using different planks and pushups. GoonMilk Gym Workouts hours are Monday thru Friday 9-11am for GOONS Only, meaning you must be invited and pre approved by committee before being able to enter the GoonMilk Gym.
Workout videos will be periodically dropped to accommodate those who can not make the 9-11am time slot or prefer to workout from the comfort of their home.

9 Mile Run
Today was supposed to be 12 miles, but I got halfway and knew I hadn’t fully recovered quite yet. My breathing was not easy due to the remnants of sinus symptoms. Energy levels were not topped up yet, either. So I cut it short.

Well, it's a very long time since I did such an early workout!
Surprise, surprise, my blood sugars went the entirely opposite way. Been low literally ALL night. What the actual??
Anyhooo.....
I gave up after waking up fully at 3.30 and lying there for an hour before deciding I may as well get my weight training out of the way.
Didn't go heavy. The hydrants actually felt the heaviest.
Then I made myself a decaff (waiting til breakfast for that REAL coffee) and I'm sitting by candlelight in my huge dressing gown before waking the boss up.
It won't be a late one tonight!
