Who liked a dirty farmer?

I've been stuck inside with covid for a week, which gave me an opportunity to top up the queue for this blog again, so it won't run out for many months.

I also couldn't resist doing a few "properly". I wrote before that the creations here are very lazy: I do not usually put any effort into adding detail or inpainting over dodgy bits, I just let the computer generate thousands of images and pick the best ones to img2img upscale. But for most prompts that results in images with very similar looking guys. Lots of boyfriend twins on this blog.

So here's one where I put in the effort to make it tell more of a story: the new trainee getting some guidance from an old hand.

Here's the original 512x512 txt2img, and the 1024x1024 img2img that you would normally get when I don't bother doing all this fine tuning:

The dog collar was an unprompted fluke, but obviously it made this txt2img stand out and brought the concept to mind.

Don't expect many more of these, it has reminded me how much extra effort it is.

I tried to train the LoRa model on Hi-Vis workgear. It turned out well for first time, it needs some more tuning, and then I think I will be able to share it.

I spend my last weekend in here and it has been the best place for us workwear fetishists!

Être embauché comme ouvrier, porter un uniforme de haute visibilité, des bottes en caoutchouc, un casque de securité, obéir aux ordres d'un chef, apprendre la discipline et le respect des règles, se salir les mains, être au contact permanent de la poussière et de la boue, bien transpirer, commencer tôt le matin, finir tard le soir, bosser même la nuit, weekends et jours fériés s'il le faut, subir le mépris de la société pour la classe ouvrière mais apprendre la solidarité et la générosité entre collègues. Tout un programme pour gagner en virilité, en masculinité, en utilité pour la société et finalement vouloir rester définitivement à cette place d'ouvrier et en être fier !

All men should learn life through construction sites! Being hired as a worker, wearing a high visibility uniform, rubber boots, a safety helmet, obeying the orders of a boss, learning discipline and respecting the rules, getting your hands dirty, being in constant contact with the dust and mud, sweat well, start early in the morning, finish late in the evening, work even at night, weekends and public holidays if necessary, endure society's contempt for the working class but learn solidarity and generosity among colleagues. A whole program to gain in virility, in masculinity, in usefulness to society and ultimately want to remain permanently in this position of worker and be proud of it!
