Nothing I want more than a SUCCESSFUL business.
I dream about my marketing and how I want to appeal to my target audience. How my sales are organic and grow organically because the word of mouth and how people rave about using it.
I dream of the graphics and creating the most unique images to promote to my product. Each drop is a story I want my customers to relate to.
I want billboard after billboard. I want commercials. I want magazine articles. I want ads all over social media. I want my business to have so much exposure.
I want stands and storefronts. I want my items on display. These products deserve to be seen and used by the world. I want a storefront so unique that it’s featured worldwide.
I want to be a inspiration to the audience watching me. I want to set an example. I want to show that authenticity and individualism is what set’s you apart. Don’t be conformed to being like everyone else.
I’m ready to have a office and warehouse. I can see myself now fulfilling orders and handling meetings. I want to fully attract the right team of people to help grow and run my business better.

Not socialist in a “I won’t have to work” type of way but socialist in a “I’ll still be working but I won’t be worried I won’t make the rent” type of way. In a “billions won’t be hoarded by one person” type of way. In a “janitors, fast-food workers, child care workers, preschool teachers, hotel clerks, personal care and home health aides, and grocery store cashiers, will live comfortably” type of way. In a “the sick and elderly will be cared for” type of way. In a “no child should work” type of way.

Apparently, my decision to be silly and make fanart of someone's writing (because I genuinely enjoy the story the person is writing and I was struck with inspiration upon reading a particular scene) has benevolent and wildly unforeseen consequences.
I apparently gained a bit of control of the canon because said writer really loved the art and decided what I drew/draw is canon.
2. Writer put said artwork into the document of his story right below the scene, so now it's IN the story where people who read the story will see it (with a link to me)
3. He sent the artwork to all his friends and people he knows because he was so excited
Wholesome interaction and I watched him do all that in real time, good stuff. However...there are two more consequences I was notified of today...nearly a full week after I gave the artwork.
Seeing the artwork caused his friends to become interested in reading and hearing about his story, which means more people are reading what he's writing and giving him critique on the story (which he actively asks for).
Apparently, upon seeing the art, his writer friends got a sudden second wind to pick back up writing they'd abandoned for a few months. Because, I quote, "seeing that someone enjoyed {his} writing enough to take the time to make art of it gave them the motivation that maybe THEY can write something that will inspire someone to also create something." I have accidentally caused a writing frenzy among his writer friends and my silly idea to make art for someone has had a butterfly effect for people who I don't even know.
Uhh...I'm pretty sure there's a moral here but I am tired and have a great deal of emotions about this.

1. eat 3 meals a day & keep a snack on u
2. always have a non alcoholic drink with you
3. never trust anything you think about your life after 8-9pm, if you’re getting close to your sleep time but not at it yet, or if you’ve been awake for a while
4. do a little something for urself every day
5. interact with a Beast at least once a day (human, feline, canine, lizard, bird, etc)

oh my god i forgot to post my absolute favorite strip from gay comix (issue #2, 1981)
#this collection is full of so many hilarious vignettes#between the fictional and biographical they range from hilarious to saddening but theyre all candid looks at#lgbt life in the 60s 70s and 80s#id recommend it if you're interested in older underground work#edit: for ppl who notice the opening blurb i will say this:#1. Many artists in the underground comix scene (yes the lgbt ones too) delighted in being overly provocative for the sake of it#hence the cringeworthy 'political unity is not the goal' line#2. i worried abt this too when i started going thru the issues but there are quite a few strips and comics focusing on the trans experience#that said. there are unfortunately not a lot of transgender artists involved in this collection#3. given the preceding two points i think its fair to say that a good chunk of the strips in gay comix just. Suck#but like they actually said it's important that we're capable of recognizing that a full 40 years down the line#so we can actually learn something from the life experiences the mistakes and even the lack of perspective tht sm of these artists displayed#nocturnal writings

3. set clear goals
define specific, achievable goals for yourself and set deadlines. having a clear target to work towards will keep you focused and motivated.
4. create a game plan
plan your day ahead of time and schedule dedicated blocks for tasks. set realistic timelines and hold yourself accountable to them.
5. eliminate distractions
identify distractions in your environment and take steps to minimize them. whether it's turning off notifications, finding a quiet workspace, or using website blockers, create a conducive environment for productivity.
6. use the pomodoro technique
break your work into intervals, typically 25 minutes of focused work followed by a 5 minute break. this technique can help increase focus and productivity while preventing burnout. (this really helps me personally!)
7. practice self-compassion
be kind to yourself when you slip up. we're all human, and occasional bouts of procrastination are normal. instead of dwelling on past procrastination, focus on what you can do right now to move forward.
8. find accountability
share your goals with a friend, family member, or coworker who can help keep you accountable. having someone to check in with can provide an extra boost of motivation.
9. reward yourself
celebrate your accomplishments, no matter how small. treat yourself to something you enjoy after completing a task or reaching a milestone. positive reinforcement can help reinforce productive habits.
