12. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them?

I was originally gonna say Wei Beifong but since that answer would basically just boil down to: hey look at this cute gay twink who loves his mom very much why can't you guys love him as much as I love him.

But that would be a little bit underwhelming, so I'll say: Suyin Beifong. I'm not gonna say she's perfect. In fact I love her due to the fact that she's so flawed. I thibk the reason a lot of people dislike her is because they feel like it's either Suyin or Lin. Which isn't the case at all? You can like, nay, you should like them both.

Lmk if I should make a longer post on Suyin cause god it kinda annoys me how much people write her off as some manipulive villain who exists to torment Lin.

13. worst blorboficiation

Kuvira. Hands down. Like, don't get me wrong, she can be your blorbo. I know a lot of Kuvira stans who absolutely don't have this problem but I just notice that Kuvira kinda get woobified a lot?

Kuvira's redemption and fault was clumsily handled in the comics I'll give you that, but she is still a war criminal responsible for the death and injury of many.

Like she's not a delicate, traumatised little girl. She's killed and tortured and manipulated. Granted, it's wishy washy how many of the Empire's crimes she was directly responsible for, but it was her Empire.

At best, she's an irresponsible, easily manipulated fool who has no care for her so called citizens wellbeing, at worst she's an absolute monster, rivaling the Fire Lords in her cruelty.

I like Kuvira as a complex character, don't get me wrong. But her flaws are what make her interesting. If you wanna stan her, stan her as the unhinged dictator she is, or you're not a real Kuvira stan.

[Also what the fuck was it with people defending her actions and ideologies??? Sometimes they used to pop up on my dash and it was frankly scary.]

21. part of canon you think is overhyped

Would it be blasphemy to say Uncle Iroh? Like he's great, he brings so much comfort and I love him dearly, but in the end he's just a traumatised old man who also commited war crimes as well.
