“You’ll need to stitch up my leg,” he said.
“Stitch … ?”
“I can’t do it with one hand.” He stood and leaned against the vanity, undoing his jeans with his good hand, then struggling to get them off. “I could use some help with this, too, if it’s not too much to ask.”
“Sure,” I said. “Undressing men, I’m good at. Sewing people up, though, is questionable. Maybe the cut isn’t that bad.”
I unwound the blood-soaked strips of Antonio’s shirt from Jeremy’s thigh. The skin and muscle parted like the Red Sea, an even more apt analogy considering the gush of blood that streamed out. I had no problem seeing Jeremy with his pants off, but this internal view was more than I wanted to see of anyone.

I like to think that Derek did eventually meet the Pack, and that he hit it off with Clay once the mutual distrust of strangers wore off. That Clay would take him to museums, and encourage his academic pursuits.
Meanwhile, Chloe would meet Jaime and Eve, and she'd figure out the ropes of being a necromancer more, and they'd bond over the oddities of being a necromancer dating a werewolf together.
Tori would meet Savannah, who would help her learn to control and hone her powers, and with Paige and Lucas, get more involved in the larger spell-caster world, alongside Simon.
And as they integrate with the Interracial council, and they learn of the Edison Group - the Cortez Cabal, led by Lucas, pursues the St Cloud Cabal for their genetic manipulation, and they manage to shut it down, maybe even passing an inter-Cabal MOU (because Cabal bureaucracy ofc) about no genetic experiments on supernaturals - something Benicio probably would not bother with, but it's important to Lucas and Savannah (and thus Sean and Bryce), so ends up happening.

Fictional Locations → STONEHAVEN ( Syfy’s Bitten + Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld )
Suddenly, the house appeared before us, as if a magician had yanked off the covering sheet and shouted “Ta-da!” A two-and-a-half-story stone wall spread as far as I could see. If it wasn't for the windows and gardens and front porch, I'd have mistaken it for some other kind of building. I'd never seen a house this big. When I stopped gawking, I noticed Jeremy watching me. He was smiling, not the forced smile he used with humans, but the crooked smile that crept up to his eyes.
“We're home,” he said. “Welcome to Stonehaven.”

The show’s writers had peppered the piece with words like “savage,” “wild,” and “animalistic.” What bullshit. Show me the animal that kills for the thrill of watching something die. Why does the stereotype of the animalistic killer persist? Because humans like it. It neatly explains things for them, moving humans to the top of the evolutionary ladder and putting killers down among mythological man-beast monsters like werewolves.

Love Leah Clearwater? Hate how dirty she was done?
Might I suggest Kelley Armstrong’s Bitten (1999):
This book follows the protagonist Elena Michaels, the world’s only female werewolf. With super-strength, super-hearing, etc. she is a force to be reckoned with. The story is a thriller/mystery as she and her pack try to figure out who is threatening them. Her pack loves her, and doesn’t treat her like garbage, and this is the first in a series that follows Supernatural women. Elena is the narrator in books 1, 2, 6, 10 and a chapter in 13. She doesn’t lose her fertility in some weird ass sexist nonsense rules either. Oh, and it’s quite smutty, if that’s up your alley ;)

Fictional Locations → Jeremy’s Art Studio ( Syfy’s Bitten + Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld )
The scenes were enigmatic and surreal, painted in reds, greens, and purples so dark they looked like shades of black. Bold splashes of yellows and oranges electrified the darkness in incongruous places, like the reflection of the moon in a puddle. A dangerous subject, but Jeremy was careful, selling them under an assumed name and never making public appearances. No one outside the Pack ever came to Stonehaven, except chaperoned service people, so his paintings were safe displayed here in his studio.

Night Woman
Far away lives a woman in a land. In a land of dancing shadows that glimmer just beyond surface walls. Where the silver path twists and breathes, glistening just under her feet. Have you seen the world made of mountains and mirrors? She looks like the night and moves with it too. Misunderstood and feared you have to brave a different kind of darkness to be here. There's a chill that hangs in the air, a comforting reminder that she is here.
